Audition

I have a short musical clip I need to remix. It runs about a minute and I need shorten it by a few seconds. However, when I select the "Duration" check box and select "remix", audition analyzes the clip for a couple of seconds, the finished only to uncheck "Remix" and goes back to "Stretch" I have even tried to separate the clip into a separate file but it does the same thing. Any idea what is going on? Is the clip too short? A bug? Any insight is appreciated. Thank you. MAudition 10.1.1.11

Hi everyone,I have a small gap in my wave form and need to close it up. I could delete it but this kind of interupts the sound. Instead, is there a way to sort of extend or clone the left bit and then do the same to the right bit so that they join and then hopefully the track will sound right?Appreciate any help.

Hi there. I received some interviews that were badly recorded, and was wondering how I could make them sound the best they can be? I took a stab at by following some Youtube tutorials, and while slightly improved, it still sounds awful. I'm gonna include the original and the audition version so you can hear the difference. I'd like to request a key-shortcut to apply mix-paste with previous settings, so that you aren't always asked to reconfirm - Apart from being useful in standard audio cleanup, I have an ulterior motive to go along with it -I've developed an extension for Audition CC which allows you to do punch and roll recording (something that is requested really, really often) with crossblending of the record, re-punch, metronome, and adjustable prerolls. It's really slick!However, there is one shaky part - to handle the blend of the newly recorded audio, I do an automated mix-paste withapp.invokeCommand('Edit.MixPaste'). Most of the time, if I inject a app.invokeCommand('Keyboard.Enter')right afterward, I luck out, and it'll confirm the dialog and all is well.Sometimes, however, for some timing related reasons that presumably have to do with script execution over time, it doesn't work.The mix paste dialog is modal and doesn't allow commands to be invoked - so I can only sneak them in if I basically

Still no punch and roll for Audition?   UGH!!

I am trying to mirror my video in Audition to an external television monitor so that others will be able to view video only while I control Audition. I have been able to successfully use a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable to see my laptop screen on the tv monitor, but how do I get the TV monitor to display full screen video only? Audition has grayed out View > Video Display > Mirror Full Screen, and I am unable to click it. Should I be using a different cord?

My Program works fine .The only issue i am having it crashes when i send midi time code to it.I am using a Tascam us 122 Mk2 Souund Card Via Midi Ports.Mtc. occasinally works then keeps crashing.I tried the newest version of audition and it doesnt even have this function.I dont want to go to another product cause i ve worked with this forever.Please Help Thx

Hello everyone,I have been using Audition two years back to work on Voice Overs, for example for making multiple files louder with Batch Process.So was I doing today for another project, with the following settings:Most files (around 50) worked fine, but some in particular were suddenly silent.I processed the same files without batch processing, just a single Hard Limiter, and there they were correctly 2dB louder, not completely silent.Also, some files showed long and harsh attacks or fade ins, where actually there was voice before and should still be:One single file after batch processing hard limiter with above settings:Before:So the frequencies in the beginning of the file suddenly disappeared.Same file with same hard limiter settings, but not in batch processing:Correctly 2dB louder.Conclusion:To me this looks like a bug, but I would not know how to work around this, as it is very much effort to check each file after batch processing, if the bug hopefully did not appear and make th

I have a pretty effective punch&roll extension for Audition functioning now - it works well and does some neat stuff.Apart from the packaging issues I'm having for distribution though, I have one other thing I'm trying to do.For voice recording, it's important to be able to activate this with a keypress - not just mouse input via buttons.At present, it looks like all key events are prevented from reaching the panel for my extension.My questions are -1) Is there a way to get key input of any kind?2) if not, I see things like UIControlEvents - but there's basically zero documentation on this. No idea what events might be available or how to listen for them. If I CAN get UIControlEvents with useful data then I can bind hotkeys to some other Audition functionality which I can then react to, thereby using them as 'key events'.I know that #2 can theoretically work if there are useful events - I watched the transport loop start/stop events to try it out in theory, and that works fine. Audition is not recording. I click record and nothing happens, no waveform or anything. Any ideas?

I am trying to trim portions of songs that I've previously purchased on iTunes. During various points of the trimmed songs, the volume level will slightly dip for a few seconds and then go back to normal. This issue only occurs when I trim parts of songs. The volume level is consistent when no portion of the song is trimmed. Is there a way around this/ Is there a way to fix this? Where is this issue coming from?

I once was a fairly serious user of pre-Audition, audition.  Then I moved to Audition 3, then 3.01.  And then my HDD crashed.  Long story short, with Windows 10 I can't get anything Audition to install.  I had it going on Win7, but nothing after that.  So I have just about given up.  Just today I see things pop up about Auditon Shareware, free download Audition, and an Adobe add linking to Audition CC purporting to be free, except at the bottom it mentions a subscription, which is a hefty price for someone that uses sound editing software about quarterly.I also see Magix has it "ACID Music Studio 10" on sale for $20.  I'm thinking my best be is to forget Adobe and Audition forever and move on.  And yes, I paid for Audition 3, had a legal license, and was royally hacked off when the licensing server suddenly had a "technical issue". I would like to hear some ideas from the community on this.Thank you allcjack99

I installed CS5.5 on a laptop running Windows 10. I cannot initiate audio playback with either the play button or space bar. Audio in Premiere Pro works fine. I tried an uninstall/reinstall with no change. Any ideas?

Hello guys!I have a problem with an XML file and I wonder if you ever had it too. I recently knew about the  sesx2sesx add-on and I said : wonderfull. I dont need to make the "magic of ctrl +c ctrl+ v" from session to session and loose my track information. Hey guys!I am viewing a recording of a bird call in Audition, and want to view the recording in "Spectral Pitch Display", but blue "correction"-lines are placed all over the recording. Is there a way to view the recording like this WITHOUT the blue lines?..and by the way, I do not mean "Spectral Frequency Display"! Notice the difference!

Over in ExtendScript for Premiere Pro (along with After Effects, Illustrator, and InDesign) the function JSX function app.getCCXUserJSONData() returns a variety of properties, including some system IDs, app version, time left on subscription, and other interesting and useful bits of data.The same function, however, does not work in Audition and Photoshop.Curious if there is a similar command available.

Hi, I downloaded and used the trial version fine for the full trial time. Decided to purchase this weekend. It's not a cheap piece of software, so I'm hoping for some decent support here.I managed to run the full unlocked version a few times without problems. I haven't installed anything else since it last ran. I did notice that it seemed slightly sluggish today.... then when I tried starting it later:-Bang!"Runtime Error" Program C:\Progra...This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. I'm doing a project in Premiere that I'm taking chunks of into Audition and adding foley, before rendering them out and slotting them back in Premiere. I finished one chunk, and then I moved on to the next chunk in my Premiere timeline, sent it to Audition through Dynamic Link, but I accidentally clicked the button to overwrite the previous chunk's Adobe Audition Interchange folder!! Now I have no clue as to how I'm going to recover all those hours of work! Any advice?

Not sure what setting has changed, but now Audition is copying / importing my HUGE video files each time I drag it into a multi-track session.  My hard drive quickly fills up, and the saves can take a long time as the files are copied.I just need the files to stay where they are, such as on a media drive, and not copy into the project drive!Thanks for the info!

Hi everyone,I recorded a 1 on 1 interview with both the interviewer and the interviewee each having their own separate microphones.Now the problem is that one of the microphones (the interviewer's) picked up more than the other, even having the the interviewee's voice recorded as well - loud enough to hear, but not clear enough to not have to use the other microphone's recording as an audio track.However, the interviewee's microphone was better, cutting out most of the interviewer's voice, and restricting it only to the interviewee's voice.Is there a way to use the interviewee's microphone's recording as a noise print and remove his voice totally from the interviewer's track (i tried this, effect was only minimal) or a better way to clean up the interviewer's audio track?Thanks in advance for any potential solutions!

I've got an issue, using Adobe Audition CS6 5.0.2 Build 7When trying to select a portion of audio, it either selects all or the selection jumps around but not selecting what I want.  Is there a fix for this?

How can I stop monthly payment? for Adobe Audition CC (month-to-month) I purchase it for one month only, but I surprised that they deduct two more times from my credit card, and now I want to stop this paymentAyman
