Audition

Hello! I have recently joined a team to produce podcasts and I would like a feature in Audition where we can all work together on the same project at the same time. This would be similar to the collaborative features of Premire Pro and would greatly streamline our workflow by allowing us to continue to edit the same file without having to save and re-download each time.Thank you.

Yes, we need this as well as the Effects Rack management tools. 

It's high time there be some ways to manage your Effects Rack in Audition, don't you think?Expecting an actor/artist to edit an XML file is a recipe for disaster.  

I edit podcasts. I would love to be able to place one type of marker for errors to remove later and another for good moment I can use for repurposing. Right now I need to name one of these and It takes too much time. Maybe I could assign different colours to deiiferent keyboard shortcuts? Thanks,

I suggest the ability to select from the playhead (cursor line) to the end of the audio file (and beginning)

In multitrack, I need to be able to highlighte a section of the track and have a command to raise the gain on just that section. Essentially the opposite of "Silence Time Selection in Selected Clips."

Currently it is not possible to resize elements of the UI based on need, as it is in Premiere Pro. Specifically, it would improve my workflow if I had the ability to resize the effects section of the UI when in mixer view.There's a TON of space dedicated to the faders which is nice but unnecessary for the work that I'm doing. I'd much rather have the option to see 6-8 plugins across all of the tracks instead of the 3 that are visible by default.Additionally, it would be helpful to be able to expand the Sends section to see 2 or 3 at a time across all tracks. Features like these would be really helpful in my migration from Pro Tools

This is a great program. But for the life of me I can't understand why it doesn't have the ability to change the font size. I've never experienced font so small and the color schemes make it even worse. PLEASE allow the font size to be changed as well as the control panel (play, record, etc.) to be enlarged. 

Add more generative voice of AI to create speech in adobe audition software 

I use the Essential Sound audio types a lot in my workflow to mark clips for quick mass edits. Currently this involves moving my mouse back and forth from the Editor panel to the Essential Sound panel just so I can click a single button to assign the highlighted clip to the audio type I want. This would be vastly improved by custom keyboard shortcuts for assigning each audio type.Essentially, a keyboard shortcut that presses one of these buttons for me: I imagine that this can be accomplished by a relatively simple script but it's confounding to me that this functionality doesn't have a keyboard shortcut. 

In Premiere gibt es bereits Speech to text. Jeder, der einen Podcast produziert, benötigt ein Skript. Ich rege daher an, das Tool von Premiere auch in Audition einzubinden, ggf. mit der Möglichkeit, den Text mit den Sprecherrollen in fertige Skripte zu exportieren, so dass man mit einem Knopfdruck so etwas erhält wie die Skripten, die bei der BBC zur Produktion von Radio-Szenen benutzt werden (Vorlagen dazu gibt es bspw. beim Text-Editor Scrivener).

I sometimes need to split up a file into hundreds of seperate files and use markers to do this. Currently- I see no way to copy the text from my script and paste it into the marker name- so I need to manually type the name of each new file when I rename the marker.  Please add the ability to paste text onto the marker name.

Maybe it already exists, but I couldn't find it. It would be convenient to be able to make markers not only on the general timeline, but also on individual tracks / clips. As it is implemented in After Effects.

frequently i record a 2 hour mix of a DJ set and before i upload the mix i want to scan the file to ensure that the hard drive did not fail causing a glitch in the waveform. it seems like it would be an obvious problem that could save hours of precious time if we could just scan the file for glitches and mark the waveform for further inspection. thankyou for keeping audition improvements coming 🙂i have been using it since it was cool edit pro .  

Hello everyone!I had an idea for Audition - about using a session in another session almost like in After Effects where one would create an animation of some sort and because of it's complexity one may want to drop the whole thing as a layer/track in a new compositio/session where you can add more things without having to deal with the complexity of the previous composition/session. Of course one can edit it by doubleclicking it and get back to the initial session that is there. I would like to use  that as an Audition feature as sometimes i want to create a session just for vocals and don't bother with the instrumental session that i can just use as a layer , track insert for the new session. I hope this makes sense. Is this possible? I think will ease the workflow imensly and help a mix evolve in different sessions as sections that can be used as tracks. Please let me know. Hi guys, I was wondering if it would be one day possible to place multiple different markers. For instance, I would love to be able to maintain the word 'marker 01' when I select 'M' but I would also like another marker name assigned to a different key such as 'error' when I select 'E', and a third for 'multiple takes' when I select 'T' if that makes sense. This would make my work process far more efficient and streamlined. All the best Christian H Miles

Surprised by the latest technology (noise elimination) in the Adobe podcast. Thank you for creating this wonderful technology. I hope this feature is also applied to Adobe Creative Cloud. Especially, I hope it will be applied to the 'noise reduction' function for Adobe auditions. Also, I would like to apply it to the 'Vocal Remove' function so that I can only remove the voice more accurately.

I can't tell you how helpful it would be to be able to save an Audition project as one file where all the assets are contained/combined into one file. Like a saved Logic Pro X file or Audacity. You don't have to keep track of all the audio files it just puts everything together for you. Then whereever you save the project it's just one icon/one file. Double click and all is there.The file organization would be invaluable for beginners and long time users alike. I wonder if the Adobe team could pull it off? I can't be the only one starting with this program wrestling with the file organization and saving between the Waveform View/Files, the Multitrack Files, the project saving itself. It just feels like you are setting up a root folder for a website or something. Just having the choice to be able to do this or not. Kind of like InDesign "Package" but then even more consolidated into one actual file that you just double click on and you are good to go with all your assets. Maybe too much

Would be nice to see a feature in Audition that allows to drop a crossfade effect on all cutsby a shortcut to smooth them out. Something like this (Constant Power) has been exsisting in Adobe Premiere for years and it's a mistery for me why there is no such handy shortcut in sound editing program.

Is there a way to quickly disable all effects on all tracks in an Audition multitrack session? If not, can we make that a feature request? Here's my situation, I produce commercials and often need to bounce multiple clips on multiple tracks down to a single clip. When I bounce, Audition processes all the effects into the newly created clip. I don't want that to happen, so I manually go and disable all the effects active on every track before I bounce, then go and re-enable them to continue with my session. It's a minor annoyance, but I'd love to have a way to just disable everything with one click or a macro. Any suggestions? Using Audition CC Build 23.3.0.55 on macOS Ventura 13.2.1

is it possible to create an import and export command of all (all) Audition settings ??Workspace, Keyboard Controls, Favorites, Effects Racks, Various Effect Settings etc ...and create an automatic backup to disk and cloud of these settings ???IT IS NOT POSSIBLE, I REPEAT (IT IS NOT POSSIBLE !!!) that in 2020 I have to lose ALL THE SETTINGS, THE PRESETS I HAD (not a few) with a trivial update of the same version from 13.0.2 to version 13.0.4 !!!Now I'm desperate, I haven't even had time to backup!

I do a lot of audios with multiple markers and have to move audios several times, adding some more or cutting others. In this matter, I have to move several markers at once and it is currently impossible. What works though is inserting a silence to move all the next markers at once, but that's not convenient at all because it has to break some tracks.So having a simple feature that, after having selected several markers in the "marker panel", allow us to move these markers with a duration would be a huge time saving !

Hey there,I know, currently this is not possible, but I'm thinking about this for a long time (a lot Audition went by since) and I cannot understand why you did't have implemented this feature I'm requesting here not 12 versions before version 13. Currently we have a lot of podcasts, podcast customers and podcast editing employees in our firm. So my request here comes from a very "business like" standpoint. My team and I love to cut podcasts with jkl. That's it. And with Screenflow and even (that bugs me most) with Adobe Premiere I can double click "l" in order to playback double speed without changing the pitch level. I think professionally this is called "monochromatic" playback. However. Why can Screenflow do that as a just simple Video recording tool (it's not a DAW guys). And why can even Adobe Premiere play double speed monochromatic? It's also specialized in video editing and not audio. But it just can do it out of the box. This would be so great to add, as I do a lot of podcast editing in Audition which requires multiple volume key frames to be modified, and then later I go to delete a section on that same clip and that clip keyframe is still selected, so instead of deleting the section, it deletes that key frame. Really frustrating haha.   So the option to have keyframes deselect automatically after the clip is no longer selected would be amazing!!   Thanks!
