I use the batch rename facility in different folders, once I'm finished sorting through images. I have various presets saved depending on what job I'm working on.Please can we have the default set to number 1 when renumbering, or at least the option to set it always as 1. I don't want sequentially numbered images across different folders. I want to start each first image in a new folder to start at 0001. Not the last number that I finished with +1
Folder opens fine initially, but the second open causes a crash with an error box but blank message.Holding down shift-option-command allowed me to clear the cache and open the folder, but the next startup crashes.By renaming the file from "?.tiff" to "unknown.tiff" I'm able to work around the problem, but this took a long time to debug because of the lack of an error message.Thanks.
Bridge will usually generate previews with the wrong size when "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" has been enabled (checked). I would guess that this bug has been present for a while. The setting can be found here: Preferences -> Advanced -> Generate Monitor-Size PreviewsOn my system (see below), I have a monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. When "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" is not checked, Bridge generates preview files with a pixel width of 2048 pixels in this cache folder (2048 seems to be the default size): C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge\Cache\v36\1024\...Then, when checking "Generate Monitor-Size Previews", I see preview files with a width of 2560 pixels for new files, which may be the expected width (but see note below *). However, with "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" still checked, I exit Bridge, then starts Bridge again, then I double check that "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" is still set in Preferences (which it is). I then let Bridge genera
Updated Bridge to v. 14.0.4.222Selected 180 images, appended metadata - at least that workedAdded keywords, at least 10 images did not have keywords added, needed to rerun keywordsCould not add star rating or label to images either when selected individually or single; in essentials, filmstrip or light table view; or when right clicking image, icon or label ddl.Closed and opened Bridge 4 times including after rechecking for updates and opening via CC Desktop. No other apps open in the background on the desktop.
Search engine don't work with any criteria (labels, rating, keywords). If we have this ways to label the work, it sucks for not working. Anyone with the solution to this?MacBook AirM1, 2020Sonoma 14.0Thanks.
The problem is they are called panels in the app not tabs. The names should match. What would really be nice is a button in the error dialog that literally says close all panels. At a minimum there should be a menu item - maybe under Window or View - to close all content panels.
When I drag files with a question mark somewhere in the name into Bridge, it chops the filename from right before the question mark, even ignoring its original file extension. Strangely enough, the generated icon and quick preview still seem to work ! But when I check the file info or try to open the file, it behaves as a generic file (txt).I'm using Bridge 14.03.200 on a MacOS 12.6.2
When you select Metadata as a filename option and use Aperture, it deletes the file extension. None of the other Metadata options generate this problem. As a teacher, this is an early assignment in the semester and it's very discouraging when your students batch rename and lose all of their images.
DNG files edited and rotated in Camera Raw display upside down in full screen view in Adobe Bridge.
Videos (MP4, 3K, 1:1 format, but also 4k 16:9 format) made with DJI Pocket 3 are not recognized and thumbnailed.Instead only the standard app icon appears. All other MP4 by other cameras are recognized and thumbnailedPlease add support for Pocket 3Bridge 14.0.2.191, Windows 11
Bridge v. 14.0.2: when opening files in PS it opens instead in Photoshop Beta v. 25.6. In the preferences, file type association, every file extension is associated with the correct version of PS (v. 25.5). Still, Bridge opens file in PS Beta
After updating Bridge today I can no longer rename a file by copying and pasting. If you highlight the file name by clicking on it and then try copying and pasting a new name, the highlight disappears and you are lift with original name. Am using Windows 11 Pro which is up to date, as of 23/02/2024.
Using the Adobe Custom Metadata extension, you can't copy or paste text from fields like a bag or single text. You can select the text in the relevant field, but copy/paste acts on the selected image instead. This causes the user to duplicate images instead of trying to copy a metadata value from one image to others. This massively reduces the useful of using the panel in conjunction with AEM or for any QA workflows.

I'm trying add Creator to metadata of group of TIFF photos which are edited with GIMP. Now Adobe Bridge also add same Date Taken to EXIF to all those photos which Date Taken is in first photo.Adobe Bridge is damaging date taken field.Version 14.0.1.137Those files are created with GIMP 2.10.36I see that this bug is only when I edit metadata of files which are edited with GIMP. If I remove all "XMP-GIMP" metadata with Exiftool then there is no this bug anymore. So seems that Adobe Bridge can't handle correctly files which include XMP-GIMP metadata.
Bridge doesnt rcognize my RTX 3080ti Nvdia card when I use "Open in Camera Raw". how ever, when I use open ithen opens it from Bridge into Photoshop Camera raw, and then it see's my Nvidia card. May Idea is this.... Fix it.
Photo downloader downloads two of every image, appending -1 after the image name for the duplicate.
After a while (I haven't found any pattern yet) the Command-N keyboard shortcut doesn't initiate a new window, while the menu command does work.
Some photos names are not displayed correctly. The name of photo 10 is correct; the name of photo 9 is not. The names of the files in files- explorer are correct.
Bridge does not display my files on MacBook Pro 2021, I have to close and open it multiple times until finally my files are shown.
While selecting a color range mask and then subtracting with a brush, the brush is slow to respond and then snaps to a blocky removal shape, then subtracts even more after letting go of the brush. Working with DNG. Jpeg on desktop, no problem. Single NEF file, seems to work fine. Convert files to HDR and a DNG will not operate as normal.
When I go into bridge Full Screen Preview or Review Mode, NONE of the labels or rating hotkeys work. How am I supposed to quickly cull/flag images without being about to use hotkeys while viewing at a large size?Bridge 14.0.1.137
Around 50 % of the Raw BW images generated by my Leica M11 Monochrome Camera and edited with PS (25.1.0) are displayed in Bridge (14.0.1,137) with 2 diagonal white stripes (left to right, top to bottom). See screenshots attached. The stripes are not visible when the images are displayed with PS
