Bridge

Images aren't showing up in Bridge from my new Nikon Z5II Any suggestions on what is the issue?  Thanks! 

Hallo. Warum kann ich in Bridge nur mit Strg+ Ziffer Bewerten udnd Beschriften? Kann ich das irgendwo ändern, dass ich nur die Ziffer eingebn brauche, so wie in LRc? Früher gab es ein Häkchen in den Voreinstellungen; das fehlt jetzt bei mir!

OSX 13.7.1. I don't use Bridge much, but wanted to check a few things out this morning & found that both 2024 and 2025 are crashing when starting up. It looks like it's doing so just before loading images or the rest of the interface or something. 2024 asked me if I wanted to add two scripts this morning, which I did; when that wouldn't start up, I installed 2025, which has the same problem, so wondering if something in those two scripts did it. That said, I can't find the startup scripts. Unfortunately the Adobe article I saw only showed how to activate/deactivate them from within Bridge. Any help appreciated!  

I have Adobe Bridge 15.1.1.729 and im trying to use the find option to look for all my .mov files in my external drive, i use filename criteria ends with .mov, and the thing just finds 300 elements i know i have more than 11,000 .mov files, what is happening? im 35 years old and since i have 14 i can't remember just one version of any adobe software working flawless 

As I'm culling in Bridge, it keeps refreshing and going back to the top of the folder. I then have to scroll down to where I was to continue rating photos. After another minute or two, it will do it again. Does anyone have  a solution for this? It has been doing it that past 2 days. I have updated the program, updated my computer, shut everything down, etc and nothing has worked so far. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, If this is a config prob, I'd love to know how to fix, but if this is by design, please change the design...I am using the latest version of bridge -It seems that adobe has removed the arrows on the edges of the scroll bars and I am unable to make accurte small scolls using those arrows... I marked the corners of the scrollbar where it's clear there are no arrows... This is annoying and not user-friendly to say the least.Please enlighten me... how do I get those arrows back? Just to show what's missing - here's a different, non adobe app, with normal scrollbar arrows:Thanks,Vered

Good evening,Adobe bridge freezes with rather large amount of images in the same folder (about 200 files), but it crashes even with a few.it also freezes on opening.i've tried all i can find in "Troubleshoot Bridge for freezes and performance issues" on Adobe website with multiple combinations and looked for solutions on the Adobe community.i've unistalled Norton AV, one drive, Dropbox. i dont work on lan/usb disks or NAS.I've also tried "use software rendering".After i clear cache/preferences (ctrl+alt+shift on startup) it seems to work for a few, then it begin to hang or work terrible slowly.Nothing. Always the same problem. It seems that is slow/hangs on creating thumbnails (preview quality: standard, preview size: embedded). This with these versions:Bridge 14.1.1.274Camera raw 16.4 i've downgraded Camera raw to 16.0 and now it seems to work a little better (it allows me opening folders/see images), but this is not a solution, i need some advance help to solve this pr

The last time I registered the copyright of images, was a few years ago, and I slogged through, using a workaround in Excel to create the required comma separated list of my images. The only time I use Excel is for this purpose every few years, and it's cumbersome time sucker to have to relearn. Rather than go through that process, is there a simpler way to make a comma separated list of hundreds of image files?  That would be a pretty cool feature to have in Bridge & Lightroom, for example. Thanks, Dennis

Ich habe einen Ordner mit ca 5000 Bildern und Bridge beginnt jedesmal beim Öffnen die Miniaturen neu zu generieren. Das kann teilweise bis zu 60 Minuten dauern. Ich finde keine Lösung um diesen Vorgang abzustellen. Auch der Adobe support konnte nicht helfen. Hat jemand eine Lösung für mich? Vielen Dank I have a folder with about 5000 pictures and Bridge starts to regenerate the thumbnails every time I open it. This can sometimes take up to 60 minutes. I cannot find a solution to stop this process. Adobe support could not help either. Does anyone have a solution for me? Thanks a lot

I thought bridge on windows had problems 15.1.1 is unusable on sonomathe folder view doesn't update. You can be moving around folders in the content panel, but the folder tree just stays at its default state.  Or you can create a new folder and you'll see it content, but it wont appear in the folder structure.  Or you can add files and they wont appear in the content panel.Export continually crashes (even exporting 2 jpegs from psds caused a crash). It needs a force-close to get out of it. Using a marquee to select files (which used to be an awesome way to select altnernate exposures in a timelapse,) hasn't worked properly since version 12. 

Regarding: Adobe Bridge Labels and ratings...Please add the ability to create:1. Extra custom labels custom.2. Custom colors.3. And custom hotkeys. Even though I use a Stream Deck for custom key mapping, I also have hundreds of custom keyboard shortcuts memorized for dozens of applications.  Hotkey customization/remapping is a basic feature of any application! Questions:- Why was CTRL+# selected as the hotkeys with no option for keyboard customization? - Why are there only five colors??- Why doesn't the fifth color have a keyboard shortcut??? Our team has wanted this for 6 years and yet we naively presumed others would've reported this oversight by now.  If it took one of our team 6 years to post about it, surely others want this too.  Our prevailing question has been, why didn't any of the Bridge developers consider the importance of custom hotkeys & label colors????  Especially given that every modern application has shortcut remapping and

I use windows 10. There were many complaints about this problem in the last 3 years. Isn't it yet solved? I can see the files Windows explorer.

Bridge seems to be struggling to rate any new series of photos, why is this?

Some of my foto's are in maps in Apple's iCloud but I fail to select these maps within Adobe Bridge apparently becaude they are not physically on my computer. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi!  I want to watermark and send my selects through bridge.  Can it output a jpeg or is it only pdf?  (if yes to jpeg I don;t know where that otion is) Also, what is the best way to deliver the contact to th eclient?  Dropbox or something?  I thik dropbox sux - is there something better? Such a bad way to do this compared to Pixieset's glorious favoriting and display, but since I want them to order retouches and not have anything unless it's paid for, I don't see another way. I wish there was an option on Pixieset to convert all images to low res and ou could choose the resolution/size, etc!!  All advice appreciated!  Thanks 😉 

When I select a photo in Bridge to open with Camera RAW everything works perfect. I do my stuff in camera RAW but when I click open, camera RAW returns to Bridge instead of Photoshop opening my photo. I allready removed en reinstalled both Bridge and photoshop but nothing changes. Is this a bug or are those things normal since the last update(s). All my products are the latest version and my Mac is up to date as well.

I have some layered tiff files where the model has been masked out and placed on a fake background which is a pattern-fill layer in Photoshop. Bridge is not displaying the background layer and is instead displaying white, the thumbnail starts off displaying correctly but once the preview loads, it is blank. I have attached a section of the file as is shows in Bridge and then as it shows in Photoshop.

Hello.  What does this color mean, and where do I change it? This is not the color label, used for sorting/filtering. This is something different. All my tabs have this blue color. Thanks!   

Bridge unwantingly renames some files in a folder. In Explorer, all the file names are both full and correct. The original file names are sometimes long (persons full name and title). Sample of this is in attached photo. I am using Windows 11. 

On the Bridge dashboard, everytime I open a folder or close an image in Raw, the thumbnails in Bridge automatically, almost like they are changiung sizes to fit a screen resolution. Often times, epecially when in a hurry, I end up clicking on the wrong image or folder as it moved due to the resizing. Is there a way to change this setting to prevent this from happening? Thanks in advance.

I have a MacBook Pro (2021-version) M1-chip and 16Gb internal. Bridge 2023 (Cloud cc) doesn't see my network drives. But when I use Photoshop 2023, go to a network-NAS an sthen switch to Bridge ... Bridge sees the network. Howeven, Bridge can't open the network-nas (Synology ds418). Ans as result of that I can't use Bridge.Does anyone of you recognize this problem and if yes, what's a possible solution?

I was batch renaming about 1,200 photos. I manually moved all the photos in chronological order and assigned ratings...some photos had five-star ratings, and others had no ratings. During the batch rename process, Bridge started to act wonky, then the spinning pinwheel. Finally, Bridge crashed. After restarting Bridge, all my files were entirely out of order, and hundreds that previously had five stars now had no rating and vice versa. I noticed that many files had also been assigned a '(1)' ending and some a 'copy' ending. I retraced my steps and realized that I chose a three-digit numbering sequence in the batch rename settings (beginning with 001), but I had over 1,000 photos to batch rename. I think this is what caused the problem. If you've ever watched your finder folder during a batch rename, you will know that Bridge runs a script that maybe creates a copy of the file, then renames and reassigns metadata, etc. I think that my choosing a three-digit ending for a four-digit volum

I have recently changed from 2010 disk based versions of Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom and Acrobat Pro to the Create Cloud versions.  Unfortunately, Adobe has destroyed the UI, usability and functionality of Acrobat Pro and Lightroom.  Great tools and functions from 2010 have disappeared in the 2023 versions.  The intuitive layouts of 2010 have disappeared in the 2023 versions. I am begging you, Adobe....... please do not destroy Bridge's UI and functionality.  Do not make changes to the UI that shift things around needlessly, do not hide tools within hard to find menus, do not remove functionality. There are some changes in the latest Bridge (compared to 2010) that have been useless.  Eg Metadata info in the Metadata panel has wastefully and unnecessarily been indented so the palette needs to be widened far more to be able to see the information.  Why do the indent?  There was NOTHING achieved by it. Another change in Bridge is that I c
