Bridge

Hallo, ich bin heute auf ein merkwürdiges Problem gestoßen. Wir arbeiten in unserem Unternehmen mit mehreren MACs und teilweise unterschiedlichen Versionen der Bridge. Wir erstellen für unsere Kunden des öfteren Kontaktbögen mit mehreren Bildern. Für das Erstellen der Kontaktbögen werden der Einfachheit halber die Rohdaten verwendet (Canon .cr2). Heute ist uns aufgefallen, dass die PDFs mit der Bridge 2023 deutlich größer sind als die PDFs mit der Bridge 2022.Komischerweise sind die PDFs mit Bridge 2023 selbst zwischen verschiedenen Geräten unterschiedlich groß. Ich habe vorhin ein paar Tests durchgeführt, hier die Ergebnisse: MacBook1, Bridge 2022: 7,5 MBMacBook2, Bridge 2022: 7,5 MBMacBook2, Bridge 2023: 108,9 MBMacPro, Bridge 2022: 7,5 MBMacPro, Bridge 2023: 31,5 MB An diesem Test ist zu sehen, die Dateigrößen der Bridge 2022 sind immer konstant, allerdings sind die Dateigrößen der Bridge 2023 um einiges größer und von Gerät zu Gerät unterschiedlich.Die Ausgabeei

We have 3 new windows 11 computers all running the same software programs, one computer when running Bridge will not work correctly when using filter, ratings to flat 1,2 ,3, 4 or 5. You think it has worked sometimes as it may flag 4 out 20 but most time just not working. We have removed and re-installed the software updated from 2023 to 2024??? pulling my hair out to find the fix??? 

It seems like a bug or somtething wrong with the system. 

Hi,  I am wondering why Bridge has not been performing properly?  I can barely use the program it's so slow, I am using it to view RAW photographs. I have purged the cache for the individual folder, purged the central Bridge cache, reset preferences to factory, purged the cache in 'Go' - "Library' - 'Cache'...  and nothing seems to improve the performance? I have 8gb of RAm on my macbook air, running OSx 10.9.5, with 70GB spare on my 500gb hardrive.  I store all my photos on external hardrives.  Any suggestions greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance.

With the latest Adobe updates, it is impossible to simply drag and drop photos or files from Bridge folders to the Trash can. I can only do it now from the drop down File menu.

Suddenly Bridge doesn't show me my tiff's anymore but it shows Jpg 

Hi,Is it normal that Bridge does not remember the file formats pinned in the filter tab of the library when I restart the program?

Hi Adobe Community, I have been using Bridge for the last 3-4 years to cull my images before opening in Lightroom/Ps. For some reason after my latest update, the culling process has been glitchy and once I mark my images as a '5 star' they don't mark and then I cannot filter them out. Please someone advise. It used to be when I select photos and rename (cmnd + shift + R) the Rename box would pop up with the first text option already highlighed and I would hit tab tab to get to my desired text box and rename the photo and then select more photos and do the same. Been doing it this way for 8+ years and my muscle memory is ingrained in my workflow.  Now, I select photos and open the rename screen and the JUST the 'rename' button is highlighted and in order to get to my desired text box it would take 11 tab hits because it cycles through every single option on the screen starting from the top down. Including the + and - signs next to the text box. This is throwing me way off and I can't figure out how to fix it. iMac running Ventura 13.6.1 and Bridge 14.0 Any suggestions would be much appreciated!  

Dear Community, I was just exporting files from Lightroom, when I accidentally deleted the originals that lightroom wanted to usw to export the edited versions.So of course lightroom said "cannot find the original files anymore". However they are NOT in the trash can and I also cannot find them in the library cache. I find the ones I did not delete in the cache.I use Bridge 2018 CC on a Mac 10.15.7. Catalina. The files were on an SD Card. It did not ask me if I'm sure I wish to delete. They were just gone. (I used command delete) The return button was greyed out.Thank you,Iris

I have quite a few .avi videos.  Apparently I can't apply Keywords to the metadata.  Should I convert these files?  If so is .mp4 the best?  Is there a converter I should prefer?  Or other suggestions?Thank you

Après avoir installé Bridge sur mon PC, j'ai ajouté des mots-clés sur les photos et la fonction de recherche fonctionne parfaitement. J'ai installé Bridge sur un second PC (nouveau compte) connecté également au serveur. J'ai importé la liste de mots-clés et j'ai accédé aux mêmes photos que sur le premier PC. Hors, sur ce second ordinateur la recherche de mots-clés ne donne aucun résultat. Le logiciel ne semble pas "lire" les mots-clés existant pourtant bien sur les données EXIF des photos. J'ai remarqué qu'il fallait ouvrir les dossiers photos pour que le logiciel lise enfin les métadonnées. Est-ce normal ? Hi, I need to find and/or filter files (especially images) by metadata stored in custom field. This particular metadata can be seen in file info, and it can be also found when search is done to all metadata fields. However, this doesn't help me since I would need to focus the search in the mentioned custom field. Is there some way to work with this matter?

Adobe Bridge 2017: Trying to find out why the "show items from subfolders" option under the VIEW menu was disabled. how to fix this issue?

From Bridge, I can open an image in Camera Raw, but when I click "open" to open it in Photoshop, nothing happens.  The image simply does not open. I am using Photoshop 25.1.0.  and CR 16.0.1Computer is a Mac Studio Looking forward to anything that can help!  Thanks

I've several Collections with thousands of photos in each.If I copy some photos from one collection (no matter if via CTRL+C/V or drag&drop) to another location: After this operation ALL photos in the collection are shown twice - if I again copy some photos, ALL photos are shown three times - and so on.If I switch the view to another collection and than back - everything is fine and all photos are shown only once (as expected).This problem occurs for years now - OS is Windows 11 (was 10, 8, 7 before).

Hi everyone, I have just upgraded my computer to a Asus ProArt Studiobook laptop and naturally uploaded all the Adobe programs. I have always downloaded my raw files from my Canon 5d mark iv using Bridge converting to dng files. For some reason none of the Adobe programs will now recognise the raw files on the camera. I have made sure all the Adobe programs are fully updated and the firmware on the camera is updated. It all worked perfectly on the old computer but not the new laptop.Has anyone else encountered this problem, cheers?

Is there a feature in Adobe bridge that allows me to play and loop all GIF files so I don't need to hover on each and every GIF for preview ?it's really time consuming for me.I also appreciate any alternatives cause sometimes I have to deal with hundreds of assets.

Hi all, Having an issue with bridge where I plug in my sd card and it shows me files that have already been deleted, a ghost of a file if you will, and won't show any of the new content put on the card. It shows the new images in finder/files, but not in bridge. Any way to fix this?

For many, many years I start every shoot with a color checker that I then use to create a custom color profile. I then copy that profile (and other changes) using the "Develop settings" copy tool, and then "Paste settings" to all the photos in that group.  Simple.  Except with the 2024 version of Bridge, the option to include the profile with the other settings is grayed-out.  So . . . I am forced to quit 2024 and open 2023, copy and paste the profile, then go back to 2024, because if I stay in 2023 and finish processing and try to use the image processor to create output files I get a message to install the most recent version of PS.  So . . . I have to go back to the 2024 version anyway.  Interestingly, if I make a change now to the settings to a photo in the 2024 version, the profile is no longer grayed out.  Between this and several other posts about Bridge issues, it seems every aspect of my workflow has been destroyed.  ADOBE, PLEASE fix th

When in Adobe Bridge 2024 preferences, under Startup Scripts, all the major softwares show as, for example, "Adobe InDesign 2024" and "Adobe Photoshop 2024".   I see this on both Windows and macOS.   But the Illustrator startup script says: "Adobe Illustrator. This script allows other applications to communicate with Adobe Illustrator CC"   What does yours show? Is this incorrect? How to fix it?
