Hi, I've recently downloaded OS Ventura on my MacBook Pro M1 max.I'm experiencing a lot of issues / problems with Adobe Bridge.It keeps on crashing everytime I open files on my external harddrive.Never had this problem with OS Big Sur.Is this an Adobe problem?Please help, as I use Bridge a lot.Many thanks. Mark Ransome

Is there a preference to set so Bridge 2023 does not completely close down when exing out? InDesign and Photoshop do not close out completely.

iMac Ventura 13. bridge 2023 will not open 2 remote hard drives. It shows them but won't open them. It does open one other remote drive. Bridge 2022 opened both of the problem drives.

This felt like it should be simple, but! I'm trying to write a script that overrides the label buttons, so it will label an image but if that label button is pressed again, the label colour won't be removed (the default behaviour using the built in label buttons cmd-6 etc is pressing it again removes the label, which I don't want to do).Script works ok when viewing thumbnails, it adds a menu option to label a red thumbnail yellow or remove the yellow label and change it back to red and I've also added keyboard shortcuts (MAC OS) to the menu options which works fine. The problem is it won't work when the slideshow is enabled (CMD-L on a selection of images).So do I need some sort of listener here so that the keystokes I'm sending to the menu options will work? Adobe, why did you destroy Bridge with your recent update? When I load the app, a large blue message pops up that says I need to compact my cache. I do it every time even though I have it set to automatically delete the cache older than 1 day. Why is the message perminate on the screen? Why is this message there at all? Can you stop? The new look of the various tabs is uterly unusable also. I used to be able to quickly tab between folder and preview mode but the new tabs are clunky, hard to read and don't display the correct information. Also, for some reason you have disabled the option to right click in windows explorer and open a folder in bridge. The option is still there but it does not open the folder in Bridge. Why do you have the option if it's not doing anything? Finally, Bridge is always a bit slow but this last update made it almost unusable. It's so bad that I've been looking at alternatives for image viewing. Can you just bring back the old version?

I'm trying to prepare images for posting to galleries and stock.  I'm using the FileInfo screen to enter the information for the Title, Description and Keywords.   I check the apply after each image.  It saves the first attempt but even though it allows me to reopen the FileInfo screen and type the data for the next image, it will not save the data.I've refreshed (f5) inbetween and tried to purged the cache on the next image before starting and it won't hold the data.I'm entering data for images that were converted to DNG with Adobe DNG converter via lightroom during the 2018 to 2021 time periods so the DNG formats.Test this with bridge 12 and 13... neither work.   I'm primarily using 12 If I go to Lightroom library and enter the info and save from there, it updates the files and the data if viewable in Bridge. It there some key combination I can use to force Bridge to write the data from the FileInfo screen to the DNG versus just clicking the "a

I'm using a Mac Pro (Late 2013) running Monterey 12.6.  Yesterday I updated various Adobe CC apps including Photoshop, Bridge, Camera Raw etc  Today, any time I want to batch process anything from Bridge such as Image Processing, or loading files into photoshop layers it tells me to please install the latest version of Photoshop.  Which of course I have already done.  Any ideas on a fix?

Something I would love, editable shorcuts (or hot keys, whatever you wanna call them) within Adobe Bridge. I'd love to simply assign a shortcut to Tools/Photoshop/Batch, and use the same shortcut I use within Photoshop itself. All of life would be a rosy escapade if this were to happen!

Hello, I noticed that with the last version of Bridge, when you want to rename with metadata, for exemple, I want to include the focal lens in the name of the file, it doesn't work. It will only add the aperture setting. I tried with other metadata, and it always write the aperture data. Please fix it for next patch Côme Bocabeille

Hi, I am trying to transfer pictures using the photo downloader in Bridge from my iphone 12Pro. however yesterday the files were found and i was able to transfer 10% before it unexpectedly quit. Today there are no valid files found. I am not sure why it is so inconsistent and how I can go about getting the files again?  I am using the latest version of Bridge, MACOS Ventura. I also granted full disk access to Bridge through privacy&security as well as full disk access to the files and folders.  Thank you. 

Hi,I just upgraded to Ventura 13.0 and upgraded Adobe Bridge to recent version, however, there are so far following problems:- when I go through my pictures in full screen mode, the screen keeps flashing, the picture is jumping back and forth, the bright parts of the picture are blicking, like it is unable to get the information of the file properly- labeling - I was used to label (starts - shortcut Command + numbers) in full screen view but its not working now properly - sometimes it labels, sometimes it labels the picture before the one currently opened - it looks like when I give the command (command + 5) Adobe Brigde selects 2 pictures at the same time and labels the firts of them. It is just so frustrating.Please do you have any advice how to fix this?Why upraging must be always so frustrating... Thank you.Renata 

Hello everyone!I was wondering if it was possible to add a custom color to the Image Backdrop option. Before Bridge 13 the default options were pure black, various shades of gray and pure white. The last shade of gray was 240/240/240 and was very useful in my workflow to control many images with a similar background color.Now in Bridge 13 this last shade of gray has been changed to other values and I had to reinstall Bridge 12 to check these types of images (opening hundreds of images in Photoshop with the custom color I want is not an efficient option).So, if it were possible to set a custom color in Bridge, as I have been doing for years in Photoshop, it would be very useful for any situation.I hope this suggestion will be useful for other users.Thank you!

I am not able to find internet connections while in the field.  Is there a work-around in using Bridge CC without having a need for internet connection?

I get a warning that the product suitable for camera raw editing needs to be licensed, but this is wrong because all my camera raw adobe products are licensed products that I buy for a fee, I want you to solve this problem urgently, thank you   {Moderator Note: Edited the thread title}

I was working with a local printer, at a new job, and did something in Bridge to enable color sync-ing, but now, every single time I open ANY file (Illustrator or Photoshop) I have to click through several error / warning windows. I want to turn it off, but the Bridge help menu only shows me where my sync settings are, but not how to disable Please help! This extra clicking is driving me crazy.

Hallo, in Bridge 20 scheint die Farbdarstellung der Miniaturen nicht mehr dem Farbmanagement zu folgen. Mit Bridge 20 erstellte Miniaturen sehen "falsch" oder zumindest wie "ohne Farbmangement" aus, obwohl ich meine Farbeinstellungen wie gewohnt für alle CC-Programme synchronisiert habe. Im Moment bin ich wieder auf Bridge 19 zurück, was problemlos geht. Fehler bekannt? Wie umgehen? Danke für Hinweise. Reinhard.   {Thread renamed by moderator}  

Editing in Photoshop no longer works in Lightroom after the last update. Also the other menu options such as opening in layers no longer work in Windows 11.

I will perform edits to images in Photoshp and view them in Bridge to compare changes to the original image or another image also edited.  The new version isn't show the images.  I checked the thumbnail process for files in preferences and it is within the size I have listed.  After reading about so many people having other issues with the new version, I switcthed back to the previous version and the PSD images show up fine.  I will keep using old version for now unless somehow has a fix.  

I cannot get my cr3 files off my memory card from my EOS R!!!  I have updated photoshop, ACR and Bridge. I am at a loss as I have no idea what to do.  I can see the files when I access the card directly in Bridge, but its not processing the thumbnails, they are pixelated and I cannot highlight and move them all without Bridge freezing.

I downloaded Adobe Bridge on a Windows laptop and started organizing photos from a folder. While organizing the photos by selecting the groups of photos on the bottom left-hand panel that shows you the "File Type", "Keywords", "Date Created" and so forth, I start by selecting photos under the "Date Time Original" dropdown and I like to select all in a specific year. My troubles begin when I select a specific photo(s) and start adding keywords and the program decides to take those photos away from the main screen and then I find them under "Keywords", but no longer under the date they were under. I NEVER asked the program to move the photos anywhere, I was simply adding keywords. Why would the program remove these photos from the main screen and place them under "Keywords"?

The Bridge 13 adds some welcome features. Far better subwindow docking, (finally more than one Panel at the bottom), an improved address bar with dropdown and the Hamburger context menu indicators sure will come in handy when working with the tablet. A more visible cursor will help many users and a focus indicator for subwindows is an interesting idea, generally.Apart from this Bridge 13 – at least on Windows got a lot uglier than 12.x. Its design follows no established Adobe convention and comes with way more strong contrast dividers and borders than necessary. The blue focus indicator for my taste is unnecessary bold – we all are pretty used to Adobe Apps which don't have such a feature. It goes without saying that one can't turn it off or at least tone down its colour.There's no visual hierarchy in text elements. Tab-headings and child elements have the same size and font-weight. The white text has too strong contrast with the dark backdrop – this will get tiring. You have all

Updated Bridge to 2023 version. I can't use it at all. All apps are going well except Bridge. No connection problems. See the capture attached. Please help!

The example on the screenshot, it's a smooth fire effect but it's showing this huge pixelated strokes as static and when I try to preview the file.   using Adobe Bridge 12.0.2
