I almost can't live with out Bridge.I need to pick several psd files and convert them into .jpgI do it every day till today:There is no more "Photoshop" sub menu in "Tools".I've reseted it. I've deleted preferences. But still not appear anymore. Why?¿
Hi there, I know the preview is just a generated preview and that the data is all there, but I am having a hard time working on these images because I can't even see the preview to see if eyes are closed or in focus (they are THAT dark). For this particular event, I shot in bursts which means I have LOTS (1k+ photos) that I want to quickly shuffle through to grab the best ones. I've used these cameras in the past (Sony A7Siii) with no issue so I'm stumped. I have Bridge 2022 and Bridge 2023 both installed with the same issue.I read that there are options to change the preview but I can't for the life of me find those options. Here's what I'm seeing (Raw on left and JPG on right):I'm sure it's just an oversight on my part but I would appreciate any guidance.Thank you!-Stephen
Just setup a new Apple Studio computer and update it with Bridge to V13.0.3.693. A loading message appears above some of the images during the slideshow. The files are 12x12 @ 72dpi. Cache size setting 183 gigs, Keep 100% Previews in Cache, Compact cache on ideal. The slideshow settings are 2 second slide duration, scaled to fit, transition is set to none. This loading message did not appear in previous versions of Bridge and would like to stop seeing it. Any suggestions or questions would we great, thanks!
I recently downloaded the new Adobe Bridge 2019 program on my Win10 SurfacePro. At the same time updated the 2018 version as it was a while. The new 2019 has some serious slow-down issues, which is a separate issue (it chugs, sloooowly). Before, I could go to the toolbar to Tools - Photoshop - Image Processor. But now, it's Tools - Process collections in Photoshop in the 2018 version, while the 2019 is how it always was. I'm confused.I run actions on my images, but now I can't. Does anyone know what happened? Thanks
I briefly installed Photoshop beta (for generative fill) which impacted the existing workflow with my working PS 24.5.0 and Bridge 13.0.3.693. If I opened a file from Bridge, it opened in PS Beta, not my working version of PS (which I can understand, but not prefer). It also changed my Color settings in PS 24.5.0. But another useful Bridge feature is now MIA.A useful feature of Bridge is the ability to select files in Bridge, and access the Photshop Image Processor via: Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor. That link is now gone, which I'm guessing is due to my uninstalling PS Beta. This is primarly a headsup. I reset Bridge Prefs, which did not restore the Image Porcesor function. I then reinstalled Bridge (deleting existing prefs) this also did not resotre this useful function. I do NOT wish to resintall PS to resotre this function. This is a bub IMO. And I see I am not the only user with this issue. One other note about that feature: If a file(s) is selected in Bridge then Too
I'm using Bridge on the mac and pc (networked drive) and find both are unable to accurately find keywords, often finding nothing when there are multiple files available. Is there a fix for this?If Bridge doesn't do what it should, what is the best solution for a small team, using a shared network drive?
I just touched something that toggled my panels in Bridge from vertical to horizontal & I can't find out how to restore the layout I have used for years. This has never happed before. Is there a toggle button or command for horizontal vs vertical panels that I tapped inadvertently? The hamberger option for Vertical Layout / Horizontal Layout doesn't seem to affect the panels in relation to eachother. I previously had Folders stacked above Collections at left, with Content & Preview side by side to right.Solution does not appear in Google searches or Adobe user guide that I can find. (please no scolds for not finding the right page)Thanks
i batch renamed my files in bridge and now they won't open in camera raw and the CR2 name bit has gone. have i made the files not raw? can this be undone?! ahhhh how can i open them in photoshop and edit? thanks!
I just went to do a photomerge like I always do in Bridge and not a single tool works? Restarted...nothing at all works. Not photomerge, batch, contact sheetII, HDR... This is Bridge 12.0.4.286 which is (2022). I opened the Beta Bridge and Photomerge is gone!?? Don't tell me Adobe is killing Photomerge?
I have just downloaded Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Bridge CC. Photoshop will open but Adobe Bridge will not. I have installed and use Photoshop 5 and bridge. Why won't Adobe Bridge CC open?
This is driving me insane. The drag and drop rearrangment feature of the content tabs is way too sensitive. I try to be super careful, but several times a work session, I end up accidentally rearranging my layout then I can't drag the content tab back to where I want it and have to close the tab and recreate it where I want it. I'm ready to pull my hair out over this! Anyone have suggestions - maybe how to turn this feature off? Not sure it matters what platform I'm on, but here's my info:Mac Ventura 13.4.1Bridge - 13.03.693
Não consigo usar o bridge pra fazer o processo em lotes, pois na aba tolls o photoshop não aprece mais nessa nova versão.
PNG format preview is not supported in Bridge 13.0.3.693How to fix the error?
Dans Bridge 13.0.693 disparition de la ligne "Photoshop" dans la rubrique "Outils".Comment la retrouver ou par quoi est elle remplacée ?Un grand merci...j.loiseau.
Since updating to current version of Bridge 13.0.3 (unsure of version I updated from) about 10 days ago, it is making my MacBook Pro nearly unusable without being plugged in because of massive CPU usage (2019 MBP with 64 GB RAM, on Ventura 13.4.1). I tried purging my cache and resetting preferences to defaults per the recommendations on this troubleshooting page (https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge.html) with zero improvement--if anything, problem got worse. And resizing the previews in a folder with about 500 images (approx 1800 images, 1300 hidden) does nothing. It just reopened and demanded 200% of CPU time, now 1,019% of CPU time while in the background with me having done nothing but open it and hide it. My battery health is good and I can run this machine for hours unplugged while using web browser, video, citrix VDI sessions for work--with rarely a peep from the cooling fans unless it it's very hot in the house.
Wondering if whoever develops these updates actually use the app??? Only been a few days but this is what i have found so far ... Issue 1:since the update when using the "folder" the heiracrchy starts at "Computer" now and you cant collapse it prior to "desktop". Issue 2:when using the "find" feature the "criteria" filed doesnt automatically highlight so you can type, you have to select your last search to enter the text Issue 3:I cant always drag a folder in the "folders" heiracrchy to move them.
Unable to Export PSD to JPEG its taking too too much time, this message showing to me
Hello,I use Bridge on a daily basis to batch rename and embed metadata to video and image files. I've been doing this at my current job for four years. I have noticed over the past several weeks that the image files seem to have become incredibly slow to update, both when being renamed and when embedding metadata. I updated by version of Bridge to the most recent and this has not changed. Is anyone else experiencing this and/or have a solution? (I do regularly clear my cache, usually at least 1-4 times a day)
I have been reading through posts throughout the last few years. I am amazed to find out that despite 3 years going by, CFX cards are not recognized with photo downloader when usings a dedicated card reader. Any hope of a fix at some point?
Control + Scroll Wheel doesn't work for zooming in version 13.
Following my usual workflow with bridge adobe photo downloader ( inside bridge 2020), I am unable to download images from a Sony CF express 128Gb via the card reader (sony CF epress type B/ XQD card reader) to my computer Adobe bridge > Adobe Photo downloader> get photos from camera > no device found > refresh > no device found(but normal function to download from another Sony XQD 32 G using the same card reader Pls advise
I have to sort, keep and discard multiple versions of pictures in several folders. The method I came up with was to rate 5* those I want to keep, set all the others to 0*, then view all in Bridge and delete or modify the ones with 0*.Bulk set ratings works fine except for a few pictures. Ctrl-0, trying to edit metadata, taking ownership of the file, everything I try returns an error not allowing the change.Interestingly, a copy of the file will change, just not the one I'm working on. Even just renaming it won't work. What else should I try?
The Batch Rename is not working on raw files in version 13.0.3, the latest version. Please help, as it says on the website that this problem has been fixed in the latest version but it hasn't, Dawn
When I sort by filename in Bridge (version 13.03.693) it's not correctly sorting by filename for similarly named files. Examples:01-image-03_1.tif 01-image-03.tif 01-image-05.tif01-image-05a_1.tif01-image-05a.tif 02-image-01-alternate-1.tif02-image-01-alternate-2.tif02-image-01-alternate-3.tif02-image-01.tif
When I double click on a JPEG in Bridge, nothing heppens. When I select a JPEG, hit "control" and then select Photoshop from "Open in," nothing happens. I've gone to Brdige preferences and ehcked "File Type Associations," and confirmed that photoshop is selected for JPEG. This was working fine this morning and then suddenly stopped working. The only way I can open a JPEG in Photoshop is to drag the photo from bridge to the Photoshop icon in my dock, but I would prefer to restore the old function that opened JPEGs by simply double clicking on them in Bridge! Any thoughts? I'm working on a Mac that is running Monterrey 12.5.1, if that helps.
