In the new Adobe Bridge 2023, the order in which folders appear has changed. I name all of my folders with the date in reverse order forst , followed by a a title: 2022.10.19 xxxyyy for example and this has alwast meant that my folders run in chronological order in the folders panel BUT now 2022.10.19 appears after all the January folders (2022.1.12 xxxxxxx). All my historic folders now run January, October, November, December, February, March etc. If I look at the folders in the essentials or filmstrip view they are in the correct order. Is there a setting to correct this in the folders panel or is it a bug?I'm using a Mac with OS Monterey.
If I select a folder from the Folders panel in Bridge ver 13.0.0.0562 and then select Purge Cache from the Tools menu, the cache will clear but the folders displayed in the Folders panel will start at the top instead of staying on the folder I selected.I'm running Windows 11
Hi all,Have just updated Adobe Bridge to 2023 yesterday. Some issues found so far listed here:Using Windows 10 latest.Press space bar shows selected image full screen, press space again and it goes back and shows 2 of the same image.Press enter moves to next image for some reason.Ctrl and move image used to copy the image to a new folder. This doesn't work in 2023.Folder shorcuts dragged onto the favourites don't work. You need to use the original file.Thumbnail resize scroller is confusing as it overlays the view modes when content window is reduced in size. Otherwise all good.
NP
There's a misspelling in the Bridge 2023 Column titles…Dimensions is misspelled, “Dimentions.”
Deleting Files in Content Window Requires User to ScrollDeleting photos in Bridge 13.0 Content Window (using ctrl-delet) causes thumbnail display to redisplay with the first file at the left of the window. This new behavior is annoying because I have to scroll back to where I was in the Content Window. In previous versions, after deleting a file, all the thumbnails to the right of the deleted file moved left and I could carry on from there.
After the 2023 update, I lost the following functionalities:The side mouse buttons, which help me to go backwards or forwards within a folder (similar to a web browser going backwards or forwards in levels) are no longer functional. The other thing is that sorting files by name no longer respects the underscore before the name so that they are sort at the top of the list (which happens in windows explorer and in the bridge 2022 version).
I cannot get the Metadata Placard to display in the Metadata Panel. I've checked the display placard box in metadata preferences and by right clicking on the Metadata Panel. Nothing seems to get the placard dislpyed.Any help is appreciated PhilD
My (Windows) folder naming convention was to have the most important and frequently accessed folders named starting with an underscore. Prior to the update to 2023, these were listed first. Now they appear under folders starting with a number. The same goes for filenames, which is another buggeration factor. Thank you, Adobe! I nearly cr4pped myself when I thought tens of folders containing thousands of files had disappeared! I can't see anything that will enable me to revert to the previous listing order. Why? Why? Why?
With the new Bridge version 2023 (13.0.0.562), manual sorting in collections no longer works (a clear case of "aggravation-improvement"). Who knows a workaround?
when I reopen the map all my changes in the sequence of my photos are gone .. I use sorting manually ... very frustrating ... and a waste of time
I just updated to the latest version and it seems like the basic scroll zoom feature is missing. It works in every other app, just not Bridge 13.0. Is it in a hidden feature list that I need to turn on somewhere? I use this feature very frequently, so it is extremely annoying that it seems to be gone suddenly.
Problemas nessa última atualização.
I have seen simular issues posted but not this exact problem. I have used Bridge for years and very familiar with how it works. With the latest updated Version 13.0 2023 there seems to be a bug. I click on my first image in a folder and use the Full Screen preview using the space bar to view it. I can scroll through with my arrow keys like I always have for years. Now when I press the space bar to go back to the preview screen the first picture remains highlighted and the last picture also remains highlighted. Pressing the space bar again goes back to the first picture again. Other than clicking on the last picture viewed, how do I stop the first picture from being highlighted? If I leave it this way and use the space bar to view full screen then I can only scroll through two pictures. The first one and the last one that was in the
Content window doesn't advance to next image, loses position when changing rating. This is a big problem when filtering images by rating, and then changing a rating. Bridge 2022 didn't have this problem. To duplicate:1) Apply a rating to a selection of files.2) Filter by that rating.3) Select image in content window4) Change the rating of that image. Note that the content window doesn't advance to the next image like previous versions of bridge. Subsequently pressing the right arrow key selects the *first* image in the content window. In previous verisons of bridge, changing the rating of an image would remove it from the filter, BUT the nex image in sequence would automatically be selected. This "new" behavior is massively irritating when going through thousands of images and changing their rating. Please fix this. Video attached.
When I press spacebar to preview images close up, and scroll through them, then press spacebar again to exit - it has highlighted both the original photo and the photo you ended on. Effectively taking you back to where you started, not where you left of
I use win 11 and Bridge 13.0. when I put sd card in my PC and push download images with bridge, nothing happens, it worked fine in version 12.0, what could be wrong?
app.openUrl no longer opens a page in the platform’s default web browser. app.openUrl("https://www.adobe.com/products/bridge.html")
Hello I have found various bugs in this release, which mean I have to go back to 2022 for some things. The bugs are: 2 that I have reported and have been agreed by support as issues. On the list of folders, if I move a file into one of the folders it then puts the scroll bar back to the top On the list of Keywords, it should stop at the last keyword rather than continuing to scroll to a blank window. These are new for 2023. Others which I believe to be existing. If I flip a raw file horizontally (probably any way), it display correctly in Bridge, but when I ctrl L it shows the original way around. I have reported this before and others have said it works fine for them, but it happens on all of my raw files. I have reported this and support said it bwas a bug. Sometimes ctrl L does not clear the previous image and so one gets laid over the other. This seems quite sporadic so I cannot see any pattern.
I am on a PC, using the latest version of Bridge (v13.0.0.562). Bridge used to open folder shortcuts with no issues/problems for years... and now the latest version doesn't open them. Why is this basic functionality not working? This is a complete pain in the ...
Hello, Encountered some issues/bugs with the new version: Pressing Enter or Command + ⬇ used to open the file. This was convenient and quick but it seems to have been removed in 2023.File Associations not working properly. Opening JPGs and PNGs should open by default in Photoshop but they open in Preview instead even with the file association defaulted to Photoshop. When opening a new window it used to open up to the same location. This is no longer available with the new tab experience. Don't see a setting to re-enable this behavior. It would have been great if the option to open a new window would not have been removed.Tab key used to hide all side panels. This shortcut has also been removed in favor of expanding whatever panel is in focus with a new full-screen shortcut. Platform: MacOS Monterey 12.4
Hey!Some days ago I updated to a new computer with the latest operating system of Mac, but not only has Bridge been running slower than with my old computer, it also doesn't show me the latest created folders on the 'recent folders' option. It only shows the ones that I've opened before. I don't know if this is the way Bridge now works on the latest OS but I do know it worked different on my older computer and did show me the new folders on the recent folders option.Would love to know if someone knows how to fix it, since it really takes time away from work having to open every single folder so it shows on recents.
