Bridge

Can someone please explain to me how to remove keywords from within Bridge. The Manual says:   "To delete a keyword, select the keyword by clicking its name, and then click the Delete Keyword button at the bottom of the panel or choose Delete from the panel menu." When I do that, about 15 to 20 seconds later the keyword reappears. In fact, in most cases if I've deselected the keyword (cleared the box), a few seconds later the box becomes rechecked again on its own. I can't turn it off. I have repeated this process now literally 100's of times and the results are the same. So far the only way I've been able to actually delete a keyword is to select all the files in a folder and click on the box to the left of the keyword. Typically the keyword is at a "-" state (only some files have that keyword applied) so clicking it applies it to all files. I then have to wait quite a few seconds to close to a minute or so while the metadata finishes writing. Then I need to click

Hi Adobe. Usely then I rename files in adobe bridge, I am able to select the hole name and click left arrow key to move to the start of the text field and right arrow key to move to the end.But in the 2022 version this has stopped working and when using the arrow keys it will always just move med to the right side of the dot. This is acturlly a big annoyance for me, because if i have to change or remove the first few words in a bunch of files, then i now have to switch between my keyboard and mouse every time i select a new file.  I can't see any logical reason for this change, so i am hoping that it is just a bug, that you will consider fixing in the near future. Thanks 🙂 

Thumbnails and previews do not display correctly on M1 Mac. Thumnails and preview window when scaled down exhibit, jagged diagonal edges, strange image areas that are zoomed at diffrent levels. Incorrect display of layers. Full screen previews display correctly.  There does not seem to be a combination of preffrence settings and or quality settings that fixes this issue leading me to belive this is issue with the graphics engine. "use software rendering" smooths the previews out. But does not fix the display issues.

Thumbnails of newly created jpegs are over saturated and distorted e.g. a 1x1 cropped jpeg is shown in portrait format with side edges cropped off.  I have set preferences for software rendering and have then cleared the cache for the folder containg the distorted image.  When the thumbnail is regenerated it apears creectly for 1 second before being distorted again.  All images created before this update are OK.  I am using Bridge stand alone and ACR and photoshop are not licenced.

I've been having an issue only for the last two months opening NEF raw files in lightroom and bridge. Through trial an error I find that I can import the NEF files into Lightroom Classic but only if I DON'T try to open the folder in Bridge first. If I try to open the files in bridge first (which I usually do to sort my images into subfolders to make them easier to organize) then lightroom doesn't recognize the files.  Anyone having this problem? I'm running Version 9.2 on Bridge & Lightroom and have the latest Camera RAW, I can't upgrade any further because my computer isn't compatible to upgrade my OS past High Sierra 10.13.6. Please help! The only temporary fix I have atm requires me converting everything to DNG and that takes hours.

I'm new to Bridge and do not have a server for tracking file revisions or branches. Imagine that you have a photo from some years ago and now you've created four wildly different variations within a couple of different apps, but all use the original as the primary basis. Maybe one has been turned into minialist vectors, another painted over the original photo, etc. How would you use Bridge to link these 5 files together so that they don't get separated, or at the least are permanently associated and easy to pull up together in Bridge?

Help please. I've been working in my new version of Bridge, but suddenly, the tabs/panels on the left-hand side have changed, and I can no longer access the view that shows me the labels & ratings-  i.e. how many files are red, yellow, green etc. This is the only way I can edit my files as I neede to filter them by label, but this is now impossible. I've wasted hours searching all over Bridge but have no idea why this view has vanished nor how to get it back. Please see screenshot - I have a bunch of useless tabs in that panel - metadata, workflow, collections,  export - but nothing showing me the labels. I have ticked 'labels' in View, so surely they should be visible? They were there earlier today, so I don't understand what's happened to them. I would be grateful for any advice as to how to get them back, and also how to make Bridge more stable so it always keeps the same workspace properties all the time! Thanks

Hi All,  I shot some stills with my Sony A7SIII and didnt realsie it was set to use Slog-2 in the picture profile settings (as this is what I use for shooting video).  Now when I bring the .ARW files into bridge it appears to briefly show a flat log image and then 'corrects' this with a very heavy crushing of the brightness. This is how the previews of the files remain within bridge and it is applied to any file you scroll to onscreen.  I know the log information is there in the files (as I can brielfy see it before the 'correction' is applied) but how do I deal with these files to get them correctly showing in Bridge to make assessments and then take the into Photoshop? This is a mystery and I cant find much info about shooting stills with Slog so I hope someone can help. For ages, the general opion was that Picture profiles did not affect shooting RAW stills on Sony cameras ... but it is now proven that it does indeed affect the gamma and I think Br

When I use no keywords in the filter, to select the photographs that do not have any, and I want to insert more keywords for the same image, it happens that after inserting the first one the image disappears and I am not able to insert other keywords. Is there any way to fix this? 

Please help me. I want to search into my whole hard disk ONLY the B&W photos scattered into hundreds of folders and subfolders. Don't know anything about metadata, but they are scans from old analogue pictures. Bridge can find only 5 B&W pictures but I know they are thousand! maybe those 5 are declared B&N into the file info, but I need the software to recognize the "absence of color" more than the file properites. please help!

Hallo zusammen,im Zuverlässigkeitsverlauf Windows 10 erhalte ich ständig die Nachricht Adobe Bridge funktioniert nicht mehr, obwohl ich keine Probleme bei Anwendungen in Adobe Bridge feststellen kann, alles läuft reibungslos! Mich macht die Meldung aber nervös und ich wüsste gerne, was die Nachricht zu bedeuten hat.Ich sende mal ein Screenshot mit.Über eine Antwort würde ich mich freue 

Until recently when I ran a keyword search I would receive all pictures from all folders in my remote hard drive that had the keyword attached . Now the search is only occuring in a folder that I highlite an not looking at all folders within the hard drive .   [Moderator moved to Bridge.]

I would like to set up sp=ome Custom Workflows in Bridge but am getting an error.As soon as i click on the Workflow workspace at the top of the screen, I get an error box showing "The operation could not be completed. The system cannot find the path specified"I have tried reseting the Bridge properties and uninstalling / reinstalling, but still have the same issue.Any thoughts?Dave R

I want to delete and reinstall bridge because it is very slow, but I want to keep my collections, is that possible ?

This is becoming a frustrating issue with the batch renamer - Currently I have no control on what I can change. There's no option to alter existing parameters eg reduce the number of digits in the sequence number, when I hit the + I get a copy of the existing parameter ie text however when I click the drop down menu I dont have the option to change it to sequence number. I've reset the preferences on startup of the app, Ctrl+Alt+Shift. Using Window 10 Pro. Seriously this should just work without faffing around with resetting preferences (which doesn't work!) Any help appreciated

I am having an issue with Adobe Bridge CS6 5.0.2.4 x64. When I try to batch rename a folder of JPG files, it turns JPG photos into binary documents. I tried resetting Adobe Bridge using Control-Alt-Shift while opening and that didn't fix it. Any help would be really appreciated!   

I can view C4D thumbnails in the same way I can in Finder if I change the extension to .jpgIt appears that Bridge can not view the file thumbnail based on the .c4d extension.  Has anyone found a workaround to this bug?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've wasted hours in my new version of Bridge trying to get the workspace back to how it was in my old version, but things keep re-setting themselves, it's driving me crazy! Please see the screenshot attached; the file details - name, rating etc - in the Content Panel have mysteriously moved to the right-hand side of the thumbnail.  I have NO idea how this has happened, and I've just spent about an hour trying to get it back below the thumbnail. I always work with the details underneath the thumbnail, because this allows me to have the largest possible preview. With the details on the right side like this I can't even see folder names etc unless I make the content panel really wide, which reduces the size of the preview window. I created a workspace which I thought would make my chosen settings fixed, but it doesn't; they seem to change randomly. Please can anyone advise me how to re-set the content panel with the detail below the thumbnails

I am new to Bridge and I have discovered that when I open files in Preview, all of them are automatically flagged with 5 stars.  If I set this up somehow, I have no idea how I did it.  I am hoping someone can tell me how to remove the stars in bulk, and how to avoid having them rated automatically.  Thank you in advance.

Hallo liebe Community, in meinem Bridge Workflow Details fehlt das Kontextmenü. Da lässt sich nichts anwählen. Bei der Auflösung siehe Bild 2 habe ich 72 Pixel per Zoll jedoch das wird nicht übernommen und es bleiben die 300 Pixel / Zoll. Bitte helft mir. Danke. MFG Walter

Bonjour, Il semblerait que Bridge ne supporte pas le mode HiDPI sur PC, et dans certaines fenêtre les liste déroulantes ne se déroules pas...création de Smart Collection par exemple... impossible de sélectionner le dossier de recherche, tout comme impossible de changer les options de recherches. Merci

When editting and viewing my images with photoshop they look how I want them to. But when I view them elsewhere they look completely different.Here is a screenshot with how the same image looks in bridge vs photos.
