Bridge

Have just upgraded to Bridge 2022 and can no longer access images on my external drive, where I keep all my photographs. I have gone to System Preferences - Security and Privacy - Files and Folders. Bridge 2022 has only three options available, Downloads Folder, Documents Folder and Desktop Folder. The previous version had an additional folder called Removable Volumes. Please advise   

I am trying to use the output workspace in bridge cc 2018 but I don't have an output settings panel.  All I have is the Output Preview panel.  Can anyone help me with this as I output to pdf a LOT

I can't find how to make a contact sheet from Bridge 5. I did find something that creates a pdf but it's no where near as good and fast as the way to do it in Bridge 3. I used to be able to select 'make contact sheet' through the Tools menu - photoshop

I've only just switched from an old version of Bridge to the latest version, and this behaviour is puzzling me. Can anyone explain to me why, when I upload images from a memory card, it creates 3 different folders, each containing the same RAW files? I really don't want all these files to stay on my Macbook as they take up a lot of space, but I don't know which ones I should delete, nor how to stop it from doing this?Essentially, I created a folder called 'Socotra 2022 RAW files'; on uploading the files I got:1) All the RAW files loose in the above folder;2) A sub-folder called '103ND750' (my camera is a Nikon D750), containing all the same files again;3) Another sub-folder called 'DCIM', containing a sub-folder called '103ND750', containing all the same files again!This is totally insane. Please can someone advise me how to make it stop doing this please? Thanks.

Why BRIDGE doubles my photos  while downloading photos (row) from the camera (canon D-70)

Hi guys.I need to rename a lot of files sequentially that have a pattern like: keep the filename, but change the 5 digits to single digits:  AJKGHD-BK-76357.jpgAJKGHD-BK-76358.jpgAJKGHD-BK-76359.jpgtoAJKGHD-BK-1.jpgAJKGHD-BK-2.jpgAJKGHD-BK-3.jpgand orKGH-WH-36286.jpgKGH-WH-36287.jpgKGH-WH-36288.jpgtoKGH-WH-1.jpgKGH-WH-2.jpgKGH-WH-3.jpg Hope that makes sense. Eu trabalho com pós-produção fotografica e gostaria de sabe se alguém sabe se é possivel o seguinte: Eu preciso bipar a etiqueta de umas roupas e automaticamente o código do produto vai pra planilha e lá tem uma formula que eu preciso para o cadastro, então eu preciso criar uma pasta nova no Bridge para colocar os produtos dentro com o código copiado do excel. Mas nao tem como eu bipar direto no Bridge pois preciso dessa fórmula. Eu queria saber se tem como eu bipar um produto no Excel e o mesmo codigo refletir na "nova pasta" do Bridge, ou até mesmo bipar a etiqueta e automaticamente criar uma pasta nova já com o código no Bridge. Obrigado! 

While ordering photo on a website. The folders that I was getting the photos from disappeared in the Bridge program. I can find the folders everywhere on my windows computer but not Bridge

Hello. I updated Camera raw to v14 and Bridge to v12; after editing a raw file now I obtain the usual .xmp file and a new .acr file.  The first one is hidden (as in the past), the second one is visible instead in Bridge windows (filmstrip, etc.).Is there a new feature/option? Am I doing something wrong? In all these years I obtained only my raw+xmp files.Thank you Luigi 

I have just bought a new computer with Windows 7 installed. I now also have Adobe CS5 Design Premium installed.When I try to MOVE or DRAG and DROP an image from one folder to another using Adobe Bridge I get the following error message:"The operation cannot be completed because you don't have sufficient permissions"When I try the same thing in Windows Explorer it tells me that I need Administrator Permission. I click OK and it works in that programme.I am actually the AdministratorCan anybody tell me how I can configure Bridge to undertake this task please.Many thanks in anticipationAdrian 

Hi,This is a general post regarding the disappearing of Keyword in Bridge. In my case, only some keywords disappeared but not all of them. I have no idea why this is happening. It happened to me also in previous versions (I'm now on 2020) and I learned how to recover the file from Time machin on my Mac. I read all over the community that this is happening to many users so I'm not the only one. Today it happned again. But I don't know why. After I recovered the XML file I tried to redo all the steps I did before it disappear in order to reproduce the problem without sucsses.  I just don't understand why it's happening but this is the 2nd time in the past two months that it happened and it's really bothering me. Of course there is the simple solution of getting the file from the backup, but I still think there is some kind of bug that should be investigate.Shlmoit

The photo downloader suddenly sorts by date in the wrong direction - the oldest are displayed first. How can I change this?

I'm new to Brige 2022. I'm in the process of archiving family photos. As I go through them I am adding family names to each photo as keywords. When I'm finished I want to save the archive to a usb key and send the photos to other family members who can install Bridge and search by name for family members. What I can't figure out is how to export the photos in a way that the keywords remain attached to each photo so that familly members can make use of the indexing I've already done. Can I do this with Bridge or indeed another application.

Hey,  I was using some editing software for years and we allways had the possiblity to sort the colums of folder by more than one aspect. Like: Type (DNG or JPG) and rating. Or: Name and Date Or : Date and Rating How can i set this in Bridge? Is this a special menu? Do I need to do this in the search engine?  thanxs Peter   

Image process all of a sudden stopped working for me. No updates or changes were made.  When I try to batch process raw files it will process them and just leave them open in photoshop instead of saving and closing which is did yesterday.  I HAVE ALL SETTINGS correct.  It was working yesterday.  Sometimes when I try to batch process it will open photoshop and do nothing and I have to restart the computer just to get the image processor dialog to open

I have a powerpoint presentation that I split into individual pdf files which I now need to convert to jpegs.  I can't seem to get Image Processor to stop changing the aspect ratio of these landscape images to 1:1 with resulting distortion.  The 'resize to fit' box is unchecked although, greyed out, it says 1:1.  

I'm a photography beginner learning to use adobe bridge, lightroom, and photoshop, but I have an issue with my adobe bridge. When I tried clicking anything to create a new preset for my photos, my laptop didn't do what I wanted. For Example: On the "Savings Options", I wanted to export to "Specific Folder" instead of "Original File Location" and it wouldn't let me right-click to show up. Is it because I'm using a Microsoft Pro 7?

I have changed image rotation and adjusted colors and cropped my image in Bridge and Camera Raw. Then I have saved it as DNG file. It shows normally in Bridge but when I use the larger preview, the image is still upside down. If I open it in Photoshop it looks right. When I take the file in another program I need in my work, the file is othervise edited but shows again upside down. I am not sure if the other program supports all sidecar filetypes but I think at least Bridge shold understand these adjustments. Bridge and Camera Raw are updated. I have tried saving the adjustments into .xmp file in the DNG save dialog box. How can I fix this?

I have a photo I scanned at both 300 and 600 dpi as both a TIF and JPG. The metadata shown in Bridge shows the correct resolutions and dimensions (in inches) for the JPG image. However, Bridge shows the resolution for both the 300 and 600dpi scans as 72dpi. The dimensions in pixels is correct, but the dimension (in inches) is for 72dpi. There's no way to know the actual original size of the image scanned. File Explorer in Windows 10 detail properties AND Photoshop Elements Organizer and Editor is correct, reporting what is actually in the metadata. Bridge is not. Is this a bug or what?

How can I add certain Metadata fields to the pull down menu in the batch rename function?I need to do a batch rename of files, but using metadata fields that are not available as an option on the pull down menu.Hoping to use any or all of these:Audio : Artist, Album, GenreIPTC Core : Description, Keywords, etc..
