hi,I tried to make a batch rename in Bridge but the folding folders are not working."Presets" and "New file names" cannot been unwrapped from the right arrow.I tried to reset the preferences but no result.WIN 10 / last version of Adobe.Any ideas?Thank you in advance.Alexis

Starting with Bridge 12.0.0, Adobe Photo Downloader now imports the irrelevant folders thtat exist on the memory card. This is new, and I suspect it's a bug. Previously, Adobe Photo downloader would only download the images on the card (including if they were in subsequent directories on the card).Now it literally downloads EVERYTHING on the card, including files that are not images. See screen shot. The folders appear, and are checked. Yes, I could uncheck them, but when there are thousands of images on the card, having to find the folders and uncheck them is stupid. Especially when this wasn't a problem before.To add to the fun: Adobe Photo Downlaoder seems to stall when it tries to download these files as well.Using the "Import from device" funcion only downloads the images, as it should. See second screen shot.Am I missing something? If not, please address this.Adobe Photo Downloader should ONLY download images from a card, not the other files.

So with the CC updates, that I feel like are an extortion scheme, I now find that with my new camera I had no thumbnails for anything.  I updated and was able to see the RAW files but not the videos.  They can be viewed in Nikon's free program and played as well, but in CC Bridge of Photoshop, just a box, can't play nor add data.  As at some point I use a custom program to extract the metadata to add to my database, this is a major problem. Windows media, also free can play the videos but I can't do anything in CC.    

When running Slideshow in Bridge the show appears to always start at the latest (or Z in A-Z filename convention) image and work backwards, rather than earliest (or A) first. Is there a way to fix the order of images in a slideshow with Bridge

How to rename files using Keywords?For example, I have 10 files with a 1080 key, 10 files with a 47434 keyword, and 10 more files with a 9484 keyword.Can I rename these files to 1080_1, 1080_2... up to 1080_10,47434_1...47434_10There is no choice of Keyword in Batch Renaming, maybe there is another option?

Hi AllIn a specific directory, I need to find all InDesign files linked to a specific, named file.I'm using Advance Search>Criteria:All Metadata>contains>search string.My problem is that "search string" only works for single words.  I need to be ableto search for a multiple word strings such as "ordergrid tile_cct 27-40" I've tried using mutlitple criteria lines but get sketchy results. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!Thanks

Trabalho em equipe e nos usamos o Bridge, mas só o meu que ficou em inglês na instalação, quando troquei o idioma para PT-BR os meus rotulos ficaram em ingles, o que dificulta no nosso trabalho por que as minhas marcações não aprecem e vice-versa

This has happened recently  and is rather annoying.One of the features that I like in Bridge is the Export feature which I use for batch resizing, change of colour space etc. When I clicked on a box to change the text a dropdown box appeared so that I could make a selection. Now for some strange reason this does not happen ie no dropdown box, and I have to click on the little down arrow at the right corner of the box several times and then I can use my mouse wheel to  scroll down to the value that I want.  Though this cannot be done with my pen and tablet (no wheel).I can still get done what I want, but it is rather annoying.Any ideas?

Here is my desktop folder visible in my user file, which contains all of my work folders. After clicking on the folder, nothing is displayed and at the message on the bottom of the content panel reads "No items". 

Bridge suddenly stopped working on a 2012 iMac running 10.13.6, High Sierra. I use as a capture station in the studio and this is as far as the machine will update in the OS. After installing Xrite software and calibrating the monitor, Bridge would no longer open.  I thought I'd uninstall it and reinstall it from Creative Cloud, as anyone would, but after uninstalling, it disappeared from my list of available apps.

sometime in the last few months I lost my personal keywords, but I dont recall the specific timing.  It may have been a result of upgrading my OX to Catalina around that time.  Earlier, I had switched over to Bridge 2021.  I am not a Lightroom user.  I upgraded to a much older file of keywords I had saved maybe a year ago, but that is inadequate.  I would like to use Time Machine to obtain and "install" a keyword file/list from the end of last year. But WHERE IS IT and how do I do that?  OS and apps are up-to-date. If I go to library-app support-adobe-adobe bridge 2021 (or 2020) I do not see any thing like the keyword list.

is there compare view or survey mode in Bridge like in LR?

Dear comunity can you please help. bridge is runnig so very very slow. it takes up to 20 minutes fto laode 140 picture (most not bigger than 3 mb, most 400 kb) so not higfe pictures, small sizes. the olde version (very olde version that runs on an older mac) is doing the job extra fast and quick. any idea what i can do or change... i only nee bridge to see picture. and rename tham and make a comment. nothing more. Hello all, i'm working with dng files and i need to access the tagdng:OriginalImageWidthWe have namespace constants for tiff and everything but i don't see constants for the dng tags.What i mean is, i'm currently accessing  the namespace exif like so:xmp.getProperty(XMPConst.NS_EXIF, "PixelXDimension") Now i want to access the dng namespace like so (pseudo):xmp.getProperty(XMPConst.NS_DNG, "OriginalImageWidth") I just want to read it, because it contains the image width without crop etc...

It is recommended not to share Bridge Cache in a single user environment.I have searched "everywhere" but cannot find answer to the question:How to avoid cache sharing? I hope to be able to keep my 100% previews on a lokal SSD drive and keep them away from the drive where the original photos reside. Thank You in advance 

Bridge is automatically changing the date created to 4/24/2015 at 12:53:50PM on thousands of images. I first noticed it in November of 2020, and it just did it again on hundreds more images today Jan 24,2021.  In between it behaved correctly most of the time. I'm on version 12.01, but back in November of 2020, the version was probably around 10 or 11.  This is really a headache when looking up photos in the future to reference the date when a particular place in the world was visited.  I notified Adobe about this back in Nov 2020 and they told me how to correct the capture date, which is fine if only needing to correct an occasional photo, but totally impossible when considering the 1000's of photos I take each year.  Has anyone else notices this?

Windows 10 Pro, USB thumbdrive, Bridge 12.0.1.246 Drag and drop copying CR2 files from Bridge to Explorer window on thumbdrive does not copy .XMP sidecars.

I really would like to switch to a workflow built around Adobe Bridge, but I prefer to keep my images organized into subfolders by year -> month -> day. Is there a way to import photos from a device into this structure like in Lightroom? If not, is this something I can request to be considered for future Bridge releases? I'd love to know if there is a reason this is a bad idea. It certainly makes navigating the folder structures much easier for me in general and seems like it would be a common way of organizing your photos.
