I'm working on a new project where I want to pull images from my archives. I'm not pulling all images into this catalog, but only a selection, which I'll then want to sort, select and sequence. I use Capture One sessions to organize and process my files, for a number of reason, though when I go past 8 years ago, those images are organized in jobs and are in Lightroom catalogs as that was what I was using before switching to Capture One.Image files are on external hard drive arrays. I use G-Tech G-RAID drives, 16 and 24TB volumes, organized as JBOD, not RAID, connected via Thunderbolt.A lot of the sessions are commercial projects, so I will not be including them in this particular collection of images, which is, for want of a better description, a fine art project. So I'll be picking particular folders of images to add to this "catalog" and ignoring others.Number of images: Possibly more than 100K but definitely less than 200K. I would like to keep my folder structure intact,

HelloI am a professional photographer and I need help with color profiles for Photoshop, Bridge and Camera Raw.Since the last update 2022, as soon as I want to put an image on my website or client gallery, it comes out bland and without colors.I have searched for the best color profile on Photoshop and Bridge, but I can't find any change. Is there a way to “gang” recover or “re-sync” "collection" data back into Bridge Collections?I have a new computer system with Windows 10, and a new Ps from CC.  All my stored pictures were back-up and reinstalled.  But now all my image information in Ps Bridge Collections is missing.  How do I recover the data?  I have a multitude of “collections.”The “collection” shows but all are empty and shows: “xx Missing Files Detected.”  When I click “fix” it requires a search for each individual image.  Is there a way to “gang” recover or “re-sync” the data back into Collections?

добрый день! при пакетном переименовании фото в формате ARW (RAW  SONY a7III) в Adobe Bridge формат файлов самостоятельно изменился на jpeg. отменить операцию не получилось. Как это исправить?

Hi,I opened Bridge today and my Fuji .raf files are no longer recognized. The file properties are empty (the many files are not corrupted of course). Any idea of what happened ?(Windows 10 on a Dell XPS 8100 / Nvidia GT 710)Thanx. 

Hi All:   I can't figure out how to access my desktop through Bridge: MacBook Pro M1 macOS Monterey 12.1 Bridge 2022 12.0.1 246    >  System Prefs > Security and Privacy: Have added Bridge 2022 to Accessibility (according to one post), and Full Disk Access and Files and Folders (another post). Have restarted Bridge and rebooted my MacBook.   What am I still missing?   ~Barb      

Is it possible to interact with Creative Cloud Library assets in the same you can w/ local files? I'd like to metatag, batch rename, batch export etc. but it doesn't seem that directory is searchable, options are greyed out etc...  I do have local CC files saved here /Users/Username/Creative Cloud Files/ - but it doesn't like it's all of my CC Library files? And not sure why these are being stored locally if not all inclusive... If it's not an option, is there any way to save all of these assets locally and recreate the library? How can you export or backup once in libraries? The only option I see is to download a .cclibs file which isn't useful for this...Thanks for any help, much appreciated!

Adobe Bridge Photo Downloader does not work! (Error) The point is, who the hell will check old functions after every adobe/mac osx update...???? (come on) 😉

As you can see in the examples, bridge will not display transparencies in .ai files unless it is rasterized.  I have white vector .ai files that will only show up as a white box.  I can save it as an .eps vector and it will display correctly, but I want to use .ai files.

If I create a new Export preset to export files as JPG, Adobe RGB TIFF files are exported in sRGB. (Color settings are Europe Prepress 3).Any idea to create an Export Preset, what saves files in the original color space?

I have noticed that Bridge, in certain cases, uses excessive amounts of time reprocessing images to regenerate thumbnails for the cache (even if the thumbnails already have been cached earlier). I think this is new behavior as I have not noticed similar behavior in the past (not sure when it was introduced). The setup is as follows (details below): - I have several Smart Collections. The collections filter out image files with one or more rating stars in root folders with several subfolders. As a test for a dataset, I have used a smart collection as shown in the attached screenshot "SmartCollectionSetup.jpg". It looks in a folder called "raw". This folder has a number of subfolders. The subfolders all have a number of RAW files and a number of PSD files (see details below). "Include All Subfolders" is checked. "Include Non-indexed File..." is not checked. - When starting Bridge with this Smart Collection active, Bridge starts more or less immediately and there little or

I've just installed Adobe Bridge 2020 on my Mac via the Creative Cloud desktop app. On opening it, all I get is a mostly black interface and I don't know how to fix it. I can't even tell what version has downloaded because the About screen is blank, but in the CC app there are no updates for it. I've tried rebooting, fully uninstalling rebooting and reinstalling, and trying the Bridge download file itself (i.e. not from within the CC app) and it doesn't matter what I can't see the interface. System details and a few screenshots are below. Any ideas? 

Since the recent upgrade to Adobe Bridge ver 12.0 and > when using the "Get Photos from Camera" option and converting NEF files to DNG, have started to get miscellaneous folders and as well as keeping the NEF files - this did not happen earlier.  Imports where clean - imported NEF files to system saving a DNG and just got the folder with DNG files... now get lots of "extras" in the import.  For example- the below depitcs a recent import.FOLDERS20220201              (main folder that "eventually the NEF files are save as DNG's to)   220201_0537.    (empty folder)        D850             (empty folder)   220201_0538.    (empty folder)   220201_0539.          102ND850    (all the NEF files are in this folder)   220201_0540.    (all the NEF files ARE ALSO in this folder) Can this be co

New version with the same errors... It is inadmissible that a program like this fails so much... specifically when accessing camera raw and using the "subject selection" tool, the application crashes , close , and all the adjustments made up to that moment disappear.... Maddening!!!! 

hi,I tried to make a batch rename in Bridge but the folding folders are not working."Presets" and "New file names" cannot been unwrapped from the right arrow.I tried to reset the preferences but no result.WIN 10 / last version of Adobe.Any ideas?Thank you in advance.Alexis

Starting with Bridge 12.0.0, Adobe Photo Downloader now imports the irrelevant folders thtat exist on the memory card. This is new, and I suspect it's a bug. Previously, Adobe Photo downloader would only download the images on the card (including if they were in subsequent directories on the card).Now it literally downloads EVERYTHING on the card, including files that are not images. See screen shot. The folders appear, and are checked. Yes, I could uncheck them, but when there are thousands of images on the card, having to find the folders and uncheck them is stupid. Especially when this wasn't a problem before.To add to the fun: Adobe Photo Downlaoder seems to stall when it tries to download these files as well.Using the "Import from device" funcion only downloads the images, as it should. See second screen shot.Am I missing something? If not, please address this.Adobe Photo Downloader should ONLY download images from a card, not the other files.

So with the CC updates, that I feel like are an extortion scheme, I now find that with my new camera I had no thumbnails for anything.  I updated and was able to see the RAW files but not the videos.  They can be viewed in Nikon's free program and played as well, but in CC Bridge of Photoshop, just a box, can't play nor add data.  As at some point I use a custom program to extract the metadata to add to my database, this is a major problem. Windows media, also free can play the videos but I can't do anything in CC.    

When running Slideshow in Bridge the show appears to always start at the latest (or Z in A-Z filename convention) image and work backwards, rather than earliest (or A) first. Is there a way to fix the order of images in a slideshow with Bridge

How to rename files using Keywords?For example, I have 10 files with a 1080 key, 10 files with a 47434 keyword, and 10 more files with a 9484 keyword.Can I rename these files to 1080_1, 1080_2... up to 1080_10,47434_1...47434_10There is no choice of Keyword in Batch Renaming, maybe there is another option?

Hi AllIn a specific directory, I need to find all InDesign files linked to a specific, named file.I'm using Advance Search>Criteria:All Metadata>contains>search string.My problem is that "search string" only works for single words.  I need to be ableto search for a multiple word strings such as "ordergrid tile_cct 27-40" I've tried using mutlitple criteria lines but get sketchy results. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!Thanks

Trabalho em equipe e nos usamos o Bridge, mas só o meu que ficou em inglês na instalação, quando troquei o idioma para PT-BR os meus rotulos ficaram em ingles, o que dificulta no nosso trabalho por que as minhas marcações não aprecem e vice-versa

This has happened recently  and is rather annoying.One of the features that I like in Bridge is the Export feature which I use for batch resizing, change of colour space etc. When I clicked on a box to change the text a dropdown box appeared so that I could make a selection. Now for some strange reason this does not happen ie no dropdown box, and I have to click on the little down arrow at the right corner of the box several times and then I can use my mouse wheel to  scroll down to the value that I want.  Though this cannot be done with my pen and tablet (no wheel).I can still get done what I want, but it is rather annoying.Any ideas?
