Bridge

This morning when I opened Bridge no thumbnails were visible (in Filmstrip mode), except for those image in a folder which had been open when I closed the computer down last night. I have unistalled and reinstalled Bridge but no thumbnails have appeared. Please help.

When I try to open adobe bridge I get an error message that looks like this....Bridge will only open to this folder, and won't allow me to click on anything (including the adobe bridge/edit/window/help tabs at the top). I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the app and tried to troubleshoot in other ways as well. Any suggestions for how I can resolve this issue? Thank you!

I'm running low on space, and would like to be able to fully uninstall 2024 which is taking up 1.7+GB on my drive...I've tried many different ways to remove it, without success...I don't really want to have to rebuild Windows, but am thinking it's going to be the only way to resolve it...

Hi,I have installed Bridge 2024 as a standalone app (wanted to try out its management capablities) and I have noticed the color profile is totally off. There is no other Adobe image manipulation app installed. As you can see in the below pic, the colors are really off. Left is Sony IED Viewer (and all other image display apps display the same colors), right is Adobe Bridge (JPGs as well). I have gone into Adobe Bridge Edit->Color Settings... to select a color profile as many helps seem to say, but there is absolutely no settings listed at all, says "not synchronized", and if I press the Apply button Bridge crashes. Ticking "Show Expanded List of Color Setting Files" does nothing. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it throught the Creative Cloud app, still no settings files. Anyone have ideas that does not require installing any of the other apps? (Lr,PS, etc) 

My Bridge (current 15.0.2.432) has started doing something weird. I use keywords to catalogue a vast collection of technical drawings; my list has 12,424 hierarchical keywords (and counting). This afternoon, when I add a new sub-keyword in one of my sections, it accepts it momentarily, then moves it to [Other keywords] and adds several lists of temporary (italicized) keywords, many of which are ticked but don't show up as being applied in the keywords filter pane. I have tried resetting Bridge preferences, "Clear and import..." a fresh uncorrupted list (which doesn't have the temporary keywords in [Other Keywords]). However, the madness happens again when I select any keyworded file in the particular folder. It's so bizarre that it's very hard to explain; I'll add a screenshot to try to clarify. I can only imagine that I've maxed out the keyword cache (?), causing a malfunction. 

Hi there, Adobe Bridge is currreenblty not loading any content on any of my external Hard Drives. I'm using Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1 on a 16" Mac Book Pro with M1 Max Apple Silicon Processor.  Bridge shows the contents of the actual computers files, (icons or list) but nothing shows up on my external drives any more.  I've tried restarting, ejecting and reconnecting drives, using disk utility to do 'first aid' on the Mac. Nothing is working.  Any tips very welcome. Thanks, Mark  

Hi all,Yesterday I have done the update from Bridge 2024 to Bridge 2025. Today I noticed that there were no thumbnails for new generated files after the update. I deleted the cache but there is no regenerating of thumbnails.Now I am without any previews... :((( Any body can help please?

I am hoping someone can help as I can find nothing on the web.  I am using Bridge and the batch rename facility. Within that facility I can specify a Sequence Letter - what I can't find is a way to specify the start letter that I want it to use. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how it can be done?If not does anyone know if I should be able to use two sequence numbers in a single batch rename action?Thanks

It's no secret that adobe manages to screw up bridge every time they make a new update, but now they've gone too far. This is supposed to be an organizing program. But what good is an organizer when you can't even name your folders? I made contact several months ago. Only answer I got was to downgrade to an older version. Now there have been two more updates and the problem is still not fixed. They choose not to hear us, and if you raise your (voice), typing, you will be blocked. Its so confusing!!!

HiI am creating photo collections in Adobe Bridge CC (ver 8.0.1.282 x64) to use for slideshows.When running a slideshow I want to show captions beneath each photo say from the metadata IPTC Core Description.I have managed to show the description text by adding the metadata description field to the additional lines of thumbnail data (edit, preferences, thumbnails), and by switching on the caption to full (View, Slideshow options).However, it also displays the file name and the rating...neither of which I want.And, since I like to set the slides "scaled to fit" in the slideshow options, it also places the whole caption over the top of the photo, rather than underneath. Even with the "centred" option, some of the photo is overlapped by the cation.So my questions are:Can I switch off the filename and rating so they don't also display?Can I position the caption so it does not cover-up some of the photo?Is Bridge the best software to create and show slideshows, and if not, what is?Many thank

Why?Its called Copy AND PASTE for a reason. Why is paste missing. I have all sorts of weird names like duplicate.  But where is paste????I dont know another software that makes a basic feature like copy & paste so freakn' complicated.This should be a straight forward affair...  Also, when I drag a file into explorer (to name an example), it moves the file instead of just copying it. Why?Again, why make copy AND paste so dificult. Is there some occult / mystical reason behind it? Is this just in windows?

The Folders Panel in Bridge is not updating when new folders are added. When a new folder of RAW files is added to my storage drive, I organize the folders/files in Bridge. But the Folders Panel in Bridge does not show the new folders. They are visible on my drive, and in upper horizontal info bar in Bridge. Only the Bridge "Folders" panel does not update. Refresh does not reveal the new folders. Also, please restore the feature for having multiple windows open in Bridge (a feature since the early versions). This was a highly useful feature for organizing/moving folders/files. Removing this feature serves no purpose, and is less efficient. At least offer a user option.Mac OS 12.6.5 Bridge 13.0.3.693 (this was an issue in previous versions)

Back in the Ol' days, Picasa had a really REALLY nifty function.When you were tagging your images, the top of the keywords list was always populated with the most recently used keywords. This was a good help when you were going through a lot of pictures with the same couple of keywords. You didnt have to scroll up or down the list for the same keywords all the time. "Ice-cream", "Bluesky" and "Friends" were always on top. It greatly improved the speed at which you could tag multiple images.  

Bridge is not displaying thumbnails for Samsung S23 Ultra MP4 files.I am at a total loss. Because of this, I have to manually rename my clips in Windows. That takes hours. The files do show in Premiere Pro. Very puzzling and indeed annoying.

I am experiencing Bridge 12 hanging/freezing and getting "Program not responding" when using the "Batch Rename" tool. This did not happen under identical circumstances (folder size/number of images/settings) and Bridge internal settings with previous official up-to-date version. I just updated from 11 via Creative Cloud Desktop. I purged cache. I reset internal settings in Bridge. I will have to force close Bridge and restart. Upon going back to the same folder, all the files are correctly renamed. When does it occur : - Remaming 1536 images in same folder-  Size 2-4MB jpg's- Folder has been allowed time to generate previews and sort files- I checked "Preview" before confirming batch rename, all 1536 files correctly named- Renaming starts, progress bar starts, then stops moving but no error message- After some time, I get program not responding- Force close program- Restart- All files correctly renamed.- Tried a test run with 450 files, bug does not r

Dear all, I updated my Bridge to 2025 version and now it keeps showing this warning when I am connected to wifi. I've restarted the app and the laptop and it' still the same. Anyone has encountered the same issue? Sincerely,Karen

Can Any one help me pls? I'm trying to load some photos from my external harddrive into bridge for processing, but the photos won't load!It just says, "No items to display" and the spinning wheel shows on the bottom left. Can anyone help? Thanks so much!Mavia

Bring tabs like a webbrowser or a Finder window or any other Adobe app has.In Bridge these tabs just have to contain folder paths, so we could easily drag files from one to another tab to copy or move them from one folder location to another. Really a missing thing for an advanced file browser I guess. Who is with me? Please vote up if so.

Adobe Bridge can be useful, but I only want it to launch when I want it to launch. For some reason, it keeps auto launching after I do anything in Photoshop. Please make this stop!

Hello community i just installed Bridge 2024 from the Creative Cloud and it's not showing any thumbnails. my computer is a new Mac M2 so it's not a memory problem. Does someone know how to solve it?

Nun musste ich in den letzten Tagen einen neuen Computer kaufen, da der alte komplett seinen Geist aufgegeben hat.Bei der Installation (ich nutze einen IMac mit M4 Prozessor, 16 GB Arbeitsspeicher und dem Betriebssystem Sequoia Version 15.2) von Bridge erscheint immer ein Hinweis „Bridge kann nicht unter diesem Betriebssystem installiert werden.Du musst ein Upgrade ausführen“. Nach meinen Informationen ist dies die neueste Betriebssystem-Software und auch die anderen Systemanforderungen scheinen mir erfüllt.Was kann ich tun, um wieder auf Bridge zugreifen zu können?Ich benötige eigentliche nur die Bridge Danke vorab für alle hilfreichen Tipps

It doesn't let me create a New Folder, how do I activate the option to create the Folder and give it a Name.

I have uninstalled and re-installed Bridge.I have rebooted Bridge with Ctr-Alt-Shift, reset preferences, purged all caches.Under tools, Batch rename is greyed out at the very top of the menu. Ctrl-Alt-R does nothing. Right Click on files that need to be re-named allows me to re-name one file, manually. Where did Batch Rename go?

J'ai créé un dossier sous Bridge, puis un sous-dossier intitulé "REF" toujours dans ce même dossier et toujours par l'intermédiaire de Bridge. Pourtant la flêche qui est censée indiquer un sous-dossier dans la partie navigation n'est pas présente. Hors je n'affiche habituellement pas les dossiers dans la partie contenu pour simplifier mon affichage.J'ai raffraichi, quitté et relancé, rien n'y fait, ce sous-dossier n'apparait juste pas dans la navigation. Je suis sur macOS 14.7.1 et Bridge 15.0.2
