I'm using Bridge and Photoshop but my pictures keep disappearing in Bridge. Where are they? 

Using Bridge 12.0 cannot use any of the photoshop functions under tools/ photoshop /  a message "install latest version of photoshop"appears. Using latest photoshop 23.0 Anone else having this problem?Marc

As long as I can remember (which is a long time), Bridge has forced re-caching of its thumbnails every time a new version of Camera Raw is installed. I just installed 2018 and here we go again.I've participated in numerous forum discussions over the years, provided ample evidence of the issue, yet Adobe still can't seem to get it. And it seems like a simple problem with an easy solution. I've got over 30,000 images in folders, 100 to 500 images per folder. I "Export Cache to Folders" and keep the main cache size small. So, when I navigate to a folder, Bridge copies the folder cache to the main cache and displays the thumbs. That's very quick. Unless Bridge decides the cache thumbs are "out-of-date", in which case it scans all the main images to rebuild thumbs. That's very slow and gives sluggish performance - from 2 to 5 minutes depending on folder size and image type (raw files take much longer). Many hours over many weeks as I browse my 30,000 images.Why does Bridge decide the thumbs

When in Bridge and selecting Desktop, no files are present.  I go to view and click "view subfolders" (Which I shouldn't have to do everytime), only some or no files show up.  

Hey Folks,My normal photography workflow consists of timesyncing in Bridge, and doing the bulk ofmy photographic toning/contrast etc in Adobe Camera. When I'm done I batch rename everything so it stays time synced. When I rename the .CR2 file the match .XMP file also gets renamed so they stay linked and my edits remain on the renamed file.Now with the new masking option in Bridge 2022, the program is creating an additional .ACR file in addition to the .XMP file but the issue is when I rename my file only the .XMP file gets renamed, not the .ACR file, so I lose all of the masked edits I've done.Any way to automatically rename the .ACR files so that they stay linked to the original .CR2 + .XML files?

Hope someone can advise - I'm trying to copy off photos and videos from my iPhone 7 Plus onto my PC (Windows 10). I'm using the latest version of Bridge. The first time I tried, it stalled 60% through processing, giving me the error message seen above.  I came to the community to see others had a similar problem so tried the suggestions of resetting preferences/clearing caches etc. Rebooted the PC and had another go and it stalled at exactly the same place, on the 7946th file processed.  Can anyone suggest what the issue might be? My iPhone is connected properly, so it's charging at the same time. My PC refuses to recognise my iPhone as a device to download the files through Windows' Photo Downloader or pull them out through File Explorer, so I thought Bridge was going to be my saviour.... And in a related issue, Bridge refuses to recognise my husband's iPhone 7 when it's plugged in. Why might that be when it recognises mine? Any help/advice would be

i am trying to view my photos in bridge but the white icon for the photo is all that shows. it's driving me nuts and i have to get this work out. how does one fix this

Please watch this short video.http://www.netbookphotos.com/outgoingfiles/AdobeBridgeWipeKeywords.mov In the first 18 seconds you can see me add keywords, and up the top right side of the screen you can see more and more keyword being added to the metadata. Then I select 'high school student,' and all the keywords entered previously are now wiped.  I have no understanding of why this is happening. If I repreat the exact same steps, it won't happen again. So I never know when the keywords will get wiped. Even when I'm working on keyword on hundreds of files, I never know which images will trigger this problem. It is always random. I'm using bridge 2020, I've downloaded 2019 and I saw the same problem there. I'm about to re-download bridge cs5 to see if it also happens there.  Edit1Also this bug in Bridge will erase the 'date created' info from the metadata as well, also on random files. I never know which ones it will happen to. Not sure what else in the met

Hello! I've recently begun using Bridge, and thumbnails are not generating for (most) of my video clips. They do generate for photos and other graphics (ai. etc). Screenshot attached from my user->movies folder where only one thumbnail is generated. There's nothing fundamentally different about that particular file as far as I know. It's 35mb and there are other mp4s that are smaller and larger. Most other folders elsewhere on the computer don't generate thumbnails either. The desktop shows them, but if I move more mp4s onto the desktop, they don't generate. Steps taken so far to troubleshoot:Purged Caches in BridgeReset Preferences on Bridge, Premiere.Reinstalled Bridge and Camera RawMoved location of Bridge media cache Increased thumbnail cache limit (many of the video files are well below 1000mb anyway)Refreshed folders (F5) Specs:2017 iMac 3.8ghz quadcore i5, 24gb RAM. 8gb radeon, OS 11.6Bridge v12 (also didn't work on previous version) I'm at a loss, any sug

Ich habe ein seltsames Problem mit adobe bridge.Bridge zeigt keine Ordnerinhalte mehr an. Lösen lässt sich das Problem kurzfristig durch eine Deinstallation un Neuinstallation. Sobalt ich einen bestimmten Ordner aufrufe kann Bridge die Inhalte dieses Ordners nicht mehr anzeigen und als folge bleiben die Inhalte aller (!!!) anderen Server/Ordner unsichtbar. Und täglich grüßt das Murmeltier: Deinstallation/Installation und alles wieder von vorn. Desweiteren lässt sich die Bridge nicht mehr schließen, außer mit command/alt/esc...Betriebssystem BigSur 11.6Kennt irgendjemand ein ähnliches Problem und kennt Lösungen?

If I open a .dmg file with folders within it - the latest version of Bridge will show *some* but not all of the folders on the disk image. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Bridge CC on my Mac (latest OSX) is not listing external drives in Folder panel after Bridge update. If I search for a file that I know is on the external drive then Bridge will display the thumbnail for that file.

It seems many people work with photos on an external hard drive. Why use an external hard drive instead of keeping the photos on the PC or Mac? Is the reason just about the size of the photo library?I have been using Bridge and Adobe Photoshop Elements 19 to work with scanned geneaolgy photos on a Windows PC.

Bridge 10.0.4I have read the posts that are relevant and reinstalled Bridge, rebooted the computer, checked Privacy settings, removed external drives. Bridge still gives continual error messages as soon as it is started. Any assistance greatly appreciated...

I posted on this before and have seen other posts from users with the same problem-never a solution. I just installed Wondows 2004 to a new computer and installed the latest and greatest Bridge/Photoshop. But the Bridge downloader still can not preview Nikon Z6 NEF files and just shows a generic icon,  once downloaded Bridge will preview the files.  Two different computers, two different versions of Win 10, same bug. File explorer shows previews with the Nikon codec installed, The Bridge downloader shows image previews in MacOS using the same storage card and card reader. A first world problem to be sure but annoying. I hate using LR and I could manually download the NEF files but an itch needs scratching.

All of sudden I can't access my documents from Adobe Bridge.  I'm paid up and I have Photoshop and it says everything is up to date but no access to documents in Bridge.  I uninstalled Bridge and reinstalled it.  Nada. 

Other Adobe applications do not include the version number in the Bundle ID.For example, "com.adobe.photoshop", "com.adobe.illustrator".Only Bridge includes the version number in the Bundle ID. For example: "com.adobe.bridge12".I use a Mac and use AppleScript and Keyboard Maestro to control my applications, but because of this specification of Bridge, I have to rewrite my scripts and macros every time Bridge is upgraded.Why does Adobe append the version number to the Bundle Identifier in Bridge?Please change it to "com.adobe.bridge" and do not include the version number here.

Why was the selection tool taken away and replaced with a masking tool (that I almost never use)?  The selction tool was very useful to alter portions of a photograph.  Masking is irrelevant.  Adobe did the very nerdy thing by taking away something that's useful and that works and replaced it with something irrelevant.  Programmers always feel the need to change things, even when they work just fine.  So how do I get back the use of the selection tool?  Not in Photoshop....Adobe Bridge.  Very simple point, click, and drag the area of interest.  Then apply changes (i.e. brightness, contrast, etc).

After having saved a tif or jpg from Photoshop and while navigating between folders in Bridge - Bridge can sound like a truck working uphill - for many minutes - as if the creation of proxy images is looping. Activiy in ACR and Photoshop doesn't provoke a likewise working level - as far as I can judge from the sound. During such noisy periods the task manager says 8.3 percent - very high.I have no other heavy applications running while working in Adobe (not to my knowledge at least) - just Bridge, ACR and Photoshop. As soon as I return to Bridge from ACR or Photoshop, the buzy work begins. The CPU is  AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor, 3801 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) and 32 GB memory installed.

Birdge Cache allows 10000 GB???? whats wrong with the Adobe Bridge programmers?
