I'm working on a PC computer i7-8700K with 64 gb of Ram and a Navida gtx 1070 GPU with lots of room on it's Samsung solid state drives.I've always had some issues with Bridge running slow after about 6 hours of working in and out of Bridge but in the past I would just restart my computer and all would be good for about another 6 hours. Now this doesn't make any difference and I'm only working in bridge when I have to because it's running so poorly. I must wait for everything.  I uninstalled and reinstalled bridge and also cleared the cache repeatedly.Cashe size is set to 72 gbKeep 100% previews in Cache is not checkedCompact cache on exit is checkedAutomatically import cache when possible is checkedPurge Cache older than 30 days is checkedI don't know if this is related but it occured at the same time, when in Photoshop using the ACR from the filter menu, if  use "apply previous setting", it will often leave a very thin strip on one of the edges of the image that is a do

For awhile now I have been seeing that raw files that were processed in camera raw, cropping and exposure are not showing up in Bridge.  Usually if I just reopen in CR and come back to Bridge, they recover and display as they should.  But now I came across 4 pictures that are very dark and uncropped and went to CR and back and they remain the same.  In CR they are cropped and with good exposure.  I went back and made a slight temperature change, as sometimes this stimulates a return to the corrected status but now that isn't working either.

Hi,  can someone of the moderators please explain why the dual monitor feature is no longer supported? Who thought that it´s a good idea to downgrade the app? In every app I can dock or undock windows but in bridge it seam like there is a seperate team programing that is not talking to the other teams?  We are not working with less windows in future. Its going to be more. Otherwise: Can someone explain how we are suposed to work with this?  kind regards Peter 

A few months ago I switched my Canon camera system from the 5D Mark IV to the R5 body and all RF lenses. I’ve processed many RAW images in Bridge and all of my Canon RF lenses have always been in the Optics > Profile. As of today, when I now go to Optics > Profile > Use profile corrections > Setup (Default) > Lens Profile > Make (None) > Unable to locate a matching lens profile automatically, my RF 70-200 is never contained in this info (but my other Canon lenses are) which means I have to do this manually. Would anyone know why? Thanks for any info.

I've followed all the directions, but I can't update Photoshop until I close Bridge, but I can't close Bridge. on Windows 10.  How do I close it? 

Hi CommunityIn Bridge preferences I chose start in Background. But when I start the Computer Bridge is opening complete in the foreground.What can I do that Bridge starts in the Background without opening a window (in CS6 it worked fine)?I use Bridge 2021 on Windows 10. RegardDiddi

I happily used Bridge for years in my CS6. Now running Mac OS Catalina and Creative Cloud All Apps. Bridge is so slow, but most frustrating, so far, is selecting a file (jpeg, png, pdf, psd, anything), & double clicking - nothing happens. Try Command > O - nothing happens. Try several other suggestions made in an Adobe forum - the only thing that works is to drag the file onto the appropriate app - this is a drag!Bridge was a wonderful tool for so many years, why make it harder to use??

Hi:I have hardly used keywords for images (a mistake, no doubt) but I have to do add them to some images I wish to upload to a library. Unfortunately, when I go to essentials and click the keywords tab at the bottom of the image, nothing happens.  The library sent me three of my images on which they had entered keywords, and I can see them when I use the metadata tab, but there seems to be no way to enter a window where I can copy, edit or add to these keywords. If I click on the three-line button bottom far right of the window and click on 'new keyword', nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?  

I like the checkbox-approach used in the Keyword-Panel, It's non-modal implementation (→ no need to press "Apply" to confirm a selection of keywords), however, seems to lead to painful usage errors – likely for as long as the program exists. I found numerous threads in the forums, where users express their frustration with keyword-assignment. This post describes the problem nicely – it's exactly what I see.The short version is: Selecting a few images and assigning a bunch of Keywords with the Keywords-Panel doesn't work properly. Bridge will erase and partly overwrite existing Keywords, throw unjustified error messages, and in nine out of ten instances stop before the assigned job is done.As a workaround, I assign the desired keywords to a single image first (using the Keywords Panel). This version of Bridge is so buggy it contantly slows me down. Problems: 1. Constantly loses previews. I want to start working and I have to find that a folder I had just worked in had lost all previews and I have to wait minutes for the previews to rebuild2. This is even a problem with JPEGs 400 kb per file. I have towait until Bridge slowly reloads each file.3. On some occasions I get distorted previews4. Regularly I get flashing empty rectangles where the previews should be and only after long reload periods the previews show up.5. Bridge - in 2021 - still CANNOT DISPLAY PROPHOTO color space but only sRGB. My question: why is Bridge always so buggy? Why does it never work as it should?I am professionally dependent on functional software and I'm not getting it.  My recommendation: Adobe is a big company with a huge staff. Since downloading Bridge 11.1.1 it has failed to launch the error message says operation cannot be completed I've uninstalled it and the problem remains-any suggestions welcome

Hey,  can one of the moderators pls explain why in Bridge we are not getting access to the second monitor!  1. I don´t understand it. 2. What is going on. So many years of user complaining about this and no reaction from adobe3. Are you working on a secret method that will enable us to see the picture in full scale that works without a second monitor? 4. After years of performance issues that made the app unsuseble now I find out that you can+t undock the windows. It blows my head away. I really doubt that the developers are using the app for photography. I have done many beta tests in my life. And this would never have been uncommented by me. kind regards Peter 

Hi folks, quick Extendscript question. I'm using Bridge 2018 to display customer images at a point of sale. I want to write a script that minimises the interaction from my assistant (they select and label a set of images red and then handover to the customer to view the selected images and re-label the ones to add to a shortlist).  I've written some scripts previously (some time ago though) but going through the reference guide I can't see how I can control the filter panel. As a start I want to:* Turn on the filter for labels RED* Turn off the filter for every other label colour.  I know I can toggle these with CMD>ALT>6 but I need to make sure the red label filter is on (and everything else is off) before progressing further. Is this possible and if so, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Is it possible to select files in Bridge and execute the Photoshop script Export Layers to File from Bridge to export layers? Are there any altenatives to selecting a group of photoshop files in Bridge to export a specific layer?

Adobe Bridge is INSTALLING on my pc EVERY day without me doing it. To say I'm getting a little peeved would be an understatement. If it keeps happening I am canceling my subscription. 

Ich nutze Bridge auf meinem Desktop PC unter Windows 10. Seit einigen Tagen öffnet sich beim Programmstart nur ein sehr kleines Fenster (ca. 5 x 5 cm) oben links auf meinem Bildschirm. Ich kann mit der rechten Maustaste das Programm wieder schließen, aber sonst nichts verändern. Auch De- und Neuinstallation brachten keine Änderung. 

Any pointers as to why when I load multiple RAW images from Bridge into Photoshop using the Bridge Tools menu option, they appear in Photoshop as low resolution...?

When I am working in Camera Raw and I go to insert metadata in file info, the text cursor blinks white which means it's almost impossible for me to see. Anybody know how to change the color of the blinking text cursor from white to black? Thanks!

Like the titles Bridges auto stacking is not what I need.I want a script to look at the File name and  Exposure Bias to auto stack my raw files. Ie... take sequestual file names and stack based on the Exposure bias...I Bridge my AE brackets sort this way Photo1 Exposure bias equals +2Photo2 Exposure bias equals -2Photo3 Exposure bias equals 0 So I want a script that says... If Photo3 Exposure bias is between Photo1 and Photo2 then stack. Then open ACR and merge Photo (1,2 and 3). to create a Merged photo (PhotoMGD) Then stack PhotoMGD with 1,2 and 3. Then promote PhotoMGD to top of stack. Then move on to the next Photos. Is there anything like this availble to use? If not then how can I create it? The Auto stack in Bridge uses photo time taken to auto merge and is often wrong. Thanks.  

hi guys , i was trying to transfer a large amount of files onto a NTSF driveby mistake (as i work with mac) and all of a sudden  all these files have disappeared .they are now where to be found , not on the original drive no where as if they never existed . need help as I'm a bit desperate    thanks !

I used to be able to have my lens corection automatically detected by Bridge/ Camera Raw when I shot with my Nikon D800E. Now that I have a Z5, and using an adaptor to be able to use my old f-mount lenses, it seems that I have to go to the lenscorrection every time I edit an image. This is not so bad, unless you edit a bunch of images shot in same location but with different lenses. That makes it rather tedious. I wonder if there is a workaround? Matt

I find it disheartening that I am able to view, open (download), sort and filter Adobe Document Cloud files from within the files native Application and Web- rowser but not Bridge. Lacking this feature makes Bridge effectively useless if you are actually using the cloud-based storage, which Adobe seems to be marketing feverishly.  

I have attached my pc to a 4k LG OLED tv and all programmes (including Photoshop) show up well on it when extended. However, Adobe Bridge shows as very pixelated including the headers as well as the images that are showing. I have tried changing various settings in the Preferences menu but nothing seems to work. Please help!

Hi, I am experiencing issues with Adobe Bridge 2020 v. 10.1.3 and all later version crashing immediately upon opening. I am running Mac OS Mojave on a late 2013 iMac. I've tried navigating to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Full Disk Access and making sure Bridge is checked, with no luck. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

As the number of my Premiere Pro projects and the audio and video files used in them increases, I wondered if there was a way to know which audio and video files were used in which project without opening the project. I wonder if the Bridge app somehow provides such a feature. Right now, I'm just writing down the project name in the comments section of the audio and video files, but it's pretty inconvenient.
