Bridge

I don't currently use Collections or Smart Collections for anything beacuse I'm not sure how they would fit into my workflow. So I'd be interested in finding out: what do you all use collections for? Interested to see what cool things you all use them for!

This is ridiculous, I have 500+ photos I NEED TO CULL AND EDIT TODAY and all versions of Bridge won't open. So we are paying a premium for Adobe software only to have it cripple my job, my lifeline.  First it was InDesign not working, now I can't edit sort and edit photos that I need to get done TODAY!!!! Mac OS 15.01Adobe Bridge versions 14, 15 and Beta all bomb and none work

Hi all,in "all" versions of bridge when installed, crashes with flickering and a final error code. The result always is having to uninstall bridge. I have a iMac pro 2017 with 32 mg of memory.   The processor is 3.2 ghz 8-core intel-xeon W. Graphics card is Radeon Pro Vega 5886. And all the system updates OS sequoia.  Should I get more memory, use a hammer, or what suggestions regarding reinstalling, or any other advice? By the way, Photoshop works perfectly.Thanks all!Norm  

Since today, Bridge crashes upon starting. I can't even access the preferences since the program closes immediately. I de-installed it and reinstalled it, but to no avail. The version is 15.0 and I am using OS Sequoia 15.1.1. I tried using shift-option-command while starting the software several times to purge the memory but it didn't help. And I can't see an error code any more since at some point during the multiple crasjhes I checked the box: Automatically send error message... Can someone please help me? Thanks!

Last night when I tried to use Bridge I got the message "Adobe Bridge 2025 is damaged and can't be opened." I had been using Bridge earlier in the day with no issue. So I uninstalled, using the Creative Cloud app, with the option to preserve preferences etc. Then I reinstalled Bridge.  I still get the above message, but I noticed in smaller grey type it also says "This file was downloaded on an unknown date" - I don't remember if that part of the message was in the original alert.I'm on a 2018 Mac Mini, 3.2 Ghz 6-core Intel i7 with 64 GB of memory, running OS 14.7.1 .  

Using File Explorer in windows 11 my .jpg image shows the Metadata.  One of the fileds is called 'Comments'.I use this to store misc data.I have now dowloaded the latest version of Bridge and have an issue finding the field 'Comments'When I use Adobe Bridge the 'Comments' field is not found in the Metadata lists. The file Properties are correct and one other filed called 'Authors' does appear in ITPC. Why is this?Is there a parameter I need to change?See file attached

I am trying to locate Bridge's metadata template standard fields; if anyone can point me in the right direction?I have an LLM prompt to generate an XML file for such in Photo Mechanic, and I am looking to do the same for Bridge for all metadata and keyword processes. Bridge photo downloader still does not recognize compact flash cards today. Has Adobe given up on Bridge? Has anybody managed a work around for this issue. I tried the usual autoplay set up but it doesn't work.

Just started using camera with CFexpress card, and found I can not download Cfxepress card via Bridge (unlike SD or CF cards). It apears that Adobe bridge does not recognice CFExpress card as a removable card.And aprrently, it is not an unknown issue! Whan is Abobe Bridge planing to resolve this prtoblem? 

When I try to launch Photoshop's Image Processor tool from Adobe Bridge 2022 (v12.0.4.286), I get the following error message: "Install the latest version of Photoshop to continue.." I still encounter this error even after updating to the latest version of Photoshop (2025/v26.1.0). Is there a way to fix this without installing the latest version of Bridge?  I'm not a big fan of the UI changes made in Bridge v13 and above.

A good tool like Bridge remains unusable for some cataloging needs without this feature.Please add this simple basic feature to most file management programs.

Is there a way to sync the setting in your apps from one machine to the other? This was a setting a long time ago but IDK if they have it somewhere else now. Thanks

HiI use Bridge and Photoshop latest versionsIve seen references to something similar that I need but not using the IPTC field Job Identifier.I need to batch script it using Bridge (for many images)If anyone can help, that would be very useful.I do this so the original title of the image isn't lost when I rename the file title (not IPTC title) to something meaningful. This helps me locate the original files (PSD's etc) in the future.Much appreciated for any helpSimon

Bridge:   15.0.1.412 updated 2024-12-17Macbook pro:  Sequoia 15.1.1Nikon raw images: Nikon Z8 Portrait images are no longer auto rotating in Bridge. (Raw .nef files - before editing)I am having to manually rotate each image either in Bridge or in Camera RawThe issue started about a month ago after the previous Bridge update.  I have installed the lastest update today but the problem still existsPlease advise how to solve this.  Thank youVivienne Murray

I downloaded images from a Hasselblad X1D2 and Leica Q into Lightroom Classic. The LR folder is on an external harddrive attached to my laptop.After reviewing the images and applying ratings in LR, I attemted to view the images in Bridge. The images are there and all of the related EXIF data except the ratings. However, ratings of images from previous uploads are there. When opening the images in Photoshop from Lightroom (using Edit In), Photoshop displays the ratings.Solution?

Does anyone know why I get an "Unsupported Format" when trying to export a PNG using a Adobe Illustrator file by drag-n-drop on a Custom Preset? It works fine when created a custom preset for a JPG. Would love if anyone has a fix for this. Thanks in advance.Cheers!

Hi guys, I´m trying to rename my images and in the batch rename window I select certain attributes and delete some attributes e.g. date/time. But when I save my workflow, the deleted attributes reappear and the file name always starts with "project". What am I doing wrong? I am using the latest Bridge version in Windows.Thx Armin

I'm struggling to use Bridge for our media library, I notice it's not great for video clips.Playback and scrubbing speed is much slower than VLCPreview playback control bar is very narrowVLC detects framerate and resolution in Codec info, IPTC video info fields are empty in Bridge Is there a way to get Bridge to auto detect the frame rate, bit depth and resolution?Is there an app for browsing video libraries that is better than Bridge? Regards, Peter

Is there a way that Adobe Bridge can integrate directly with Sharepoint Online? Currently, we have mapped a network drive to sharepoint online and point AB to the mapped drive. The connection between AB the mapped drive is intermittent and causes connectivity issues and we have to log into Sharepoint Online and 'Open with File Explorer' to reestablish to connection. Is there a way to integrate AB directly with Sharepoint online? Thanks  

Hi all, This has been discussed before and supposedly fixed but I am still having a problem. See attached video of the process. Bridge 15.0.1.412 My workflow is this.Select raw file folder in content panel and open in PS.Edit in PS and save in separate folder for processed filesView processed file in processed file folder.Switch back to content panel.Bridge then shows first file in content panel. I feel Bridge should go to last opened file in content panel.A workaround is to have two content panels open, then Bridge does not open to the first file. Messy workaround, but usable. Regards, Steve  

When using Bridge it seems to be constantly stuck in a never ending loop of Generating Previews. Is there a particular Preference arrangement or a certain combination of Preferences which will settle Bridge down and so that Bridge will generate previews one time and remember that a preview has already been generated for an image. Attached images show what settings are currently employed. Bridge version is v9.0.2.219.

Tried all version of bridge that I have installed and not display png thumbnails. Cleared cache, refreshed, checked associations... so what's the solution Adobe?

Hallo zusammen, hat noch jemand das Problem beim starten einer  Bearbeitung, z.B. "zu Ebenen zusammenfügen" aus der Bridge heraus? Ich bekomme jedes mal die Meldung: Adobe Photoshop führt zurzeit eine andere Aufgabe aus…Wenn ich den Auftrag nochmal gebe, funktioniert es oft, manchmal auch erst nach dem dritten oder vierten Mal. In Photoshop ist aber nichts, was das Programm vorher erst noch erledigen müsste.  OS Sonoma, Bridge 15.01.412, PS 26.1.0Ich freue mich über jeden Hinweis.VGKai

After updating to Bridge 2025 version 15.0.1, I have not been able to launch Bridge from my PC. If I go to Creative Cloud, I am able to launch it successfully. I have uinstalled it several times and have also uninstalled and re-installed PS as well as Bridge. I have checked the attributes and have Administrator has all permissions. If I try to run this as Administrator, it will launch and ask if I want to give permission to this program to make changes and I respond yes. It never launches. Photoshop and LR both launch successfully after their update. Has anyone else run into this issue, or has anyone any idea as to what would be causing this?thanks,Bob
