I have recently started using Bridge 2020 on a MacBook Pro High Sierra (coming from the old Bridge CS5). There are a number of degradations in the new Bridge 2020 and I can't see what's actually better - overall it seems to be clumsy port of the old bridge which worked rather well. I shall create a different thread for each problem. My Macbook pro is 13" and the inbuilt retina screen has 2560 x 1600 pixels. I routinely use files having 900x1350 pixels. Under the old bridge, when viewing the file using "Full Screen Preview", it would zoom into the file and would fill in the screen so that the height is scaled up (1350 to 1600). The same problem exists for the Slideshow functionality. AFAIK there is no option to tell Bridge to scale up Previews.... I can see the rationale for this, but there ought to be at least a preference option allowing scale up. This problem did not exist under Bridge CS5. Thanks in advance

It is reasonable and expected that the filename be abbreviated for thumbnails displayed but there is no obvious way of seeing what the full file name is because it is abbreviated everywhere. I'll include comparissons with the Bridge CS5. This is mainly a rant to see if it would be fixed in a future update of Bridge. As they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Hello,I’ve got the latest version of bridge, I’ve catalina on mac. When I look at bridge photos, I use the space bar to display them.Sometimes this causes my mac to freeze, so the only solution is to turn off the mac and restart it, if you have a trick to avoid this?At first I noticed this by using the export panel from BR.TK very much for youy help, Alice.
I'm running a legitimate copy of Adobe Design Standard CS6 on a Windows 10 HP laptop.Whenever I open Bridge it utterly kills my internet connection on my machine within 10 - 20 seconds. This lasts as long as Bridge is running - no browser or email client can connect outside. When I exit Bridge, the connection comes back eventually by itself but may take a few minutes. It makes no difference if I already have another Adobe product open at the time or not (Illustrator or Photoshop etc), they do not kill the connection ever, it's only when Bridge opens that the troubles start. I have run this suite on another machine previously with no troubles.I have:Closed all other softwareCleared the cacheUninstalled and then re-installed CS6 suiteRun the troubleshooter on Windows internet connections - no issues foundEnsured Bridge is ticked for Firewall access in Kaspersky Internet Security 2018What am I missing here?

Bridge 8.0.1.282 on macOS 10.13.4I just started using Bridge and have noticed many of my descriptions (IPTC comment field) are not showing up in the metadata panel. They do show up when I do a Get Info on the file in Finder and I can also see them via exiftool in Terminal. The issue spans both scanned pictures and several camera models. I am a recent convert to the mac so most of the descriptions were created using Irfanview or Picassa on Windows, if that makes any difference. Any suggestions on what might be the issue? And what I may do about it? Thanks
Hi,I am using the Loupe in Bridge to compare quality of two images. I select them together and display them side-by-side and want to compare the quality at 100%. But, the 100% in one appears to be zoomed in at 400%. In the attached image I have zoomed up one to 400% to show that the 400% in one appears to be the same as 100% in the other, and they are both basically the same frames. What could be wrong here? Thanks
Hello Adobe Community, For years I've had the following problem whe using Adobe Bridge and I'm hoping someone can help me get rid of this issue: When I doule click on a file (say an inDesign file for example) to open in it's program just fine. But when I go back to Bridge to try to click another file it's frozen/unresponsive. If I click outside of the Bridge window (say on the Desktop), then BACK into Bridge to make the window active, it fixes the problem - for that one time. It happens a lot. Any thoughts? I've re-installed Bridge over the years, and have constantly upgraded (including the new update from this week) but the same thing always happens. I hate having to do an extra click outside the Bridge window to unfreeze it and interact with it again. Help! Any thoughts? Thanks! - Tony
I’m a new user of Adobe products. I exported my Apple Photos library to a new file on my iMac. That file is on my hard drive, with no connection to the originating Apple Photos system. The 16,000 exported photos have multiples of 90+ keywords associated to them. When I click on the ‘Keywords’ tab, I see some of those keywords. I primarily see different, and inconsistently populated keywords. I tried to create some, and only some are populated. Within the ‘Filters’ tab, I see all of the keywords that are associated to the photos. Is there a way to reconcile the listing of keywords across ‘Keyword and Filter views’ of keywords? When I look at these photos in Adobe Bridge 2020, on the ‘Filter’ tab within, the ‘Keywords or Essentials views’ I can filter the photos on any/all of those keywords. This works fine, but is cumbersome. Is there a way to bundle groups of keywords, so I can open or close grouping of keywords to look/select. As it is now, I have to g
Hi on my new imac 3,6 GHz 8‑Core Intel Core i9 (retina 5k) + LG UltraFine Display 4k , Radeon Pro Vega 48 with 8 GB, 72gb ram, 1TB ssd the adobe bridge is too slow it take minutes to see the content and when I leave a folder and open it again it take again minutes too load the content. I tried adobe cc2019 and adobe cc2020 first on osx mojave and now on osx catalina - still the same problem. My old mac pro 2013 has not this problem with the same extern ssd. May be a support problem with the graphic card? waiting now 5 months for a patch fix.
I would like to split all three columns in Bridge. The maximum number of open panels seems to be 5. Is there a way to display 6 open panels? I would like to use something like the "Filmstrip" workspace, but I would like to split the panel space on the right, the way the space is split in the middle and on the left. None of the default workspace options have all three columns of panels split. [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Hi Everybody. After updating to Bridge 2020 yesterday, the colors in the preview window are completely off. This happens with all files. Raw, .jpg, .psd ...Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks! Equipment:Bridge 10.0.0.124Mac Book Pro, 2015, Mojave 10.14.6Eizo CS2730
For some reason installing the new Bridge CC 2019 (and After Effects CC 2019) seemed to have done something to text animation previews in Bridge.I just want to browse through the text animations to find one that works for my project. But when I now select an individual animation just a still thumbnail comes up as a preview with no controls to play etc. There is no animation in the preview - just a still image. Am I just being really thick? Or do I have to change a setting somewhere?
Adobe Bridge suddenly wont open my illustrator files. I have latest illustrator and bridge. I can open the files through illustrator but not through Bridge.Getting the message The document....could not be opened. AlRobin cannot open files in the 'Adobe Illustrator Document' format.Thnaks for your insight!
putting color labels or rating stars on my photos in Bridge is not wpossible. This function doesn´t work any more suddenly. In neither option in the preferences of using the crt key with the number key related to the color or not. Thank you for your help.
I recently updated Bridge to 2019 and I cannot find a way to see how many files are being displayed or are selected. Nor can I see the progress of a file search. There used to be a counter in the bar at the bottom of the window that would show the number of images in the open folder being displayed, and if I selected files, it would tell me how many I selected. When I did a search, there would be a spinning icon of some sort that let me know the search was still in progress. I can find none of these things, and it is driving me crazy. I have tried searching a host of phrases and am getting nothing relevant to this problem. Please help!
Bridge will not access my external drives - says there are no items to display. If I open the drives on the desk top all the folders are there. They are accessible in LightRoom. But, I want to access them in Bridge. What's the problem/solution?

When I go to "output" and drag my files to the template, the images show up destorted. What is the problem here??
There's definitely something wrong with colour rendering in Bridge 2020, thankfully I still keep and use Bridge 2018 and still under Mojave OSX, but this is quite concerning as will probably cripple somewhat my options if I go to lastest Mac OSX. For comparisation: PS2020 / Bridge 2018 PS 2020/ Bridge 2020Same settings (imported while installed and latter double checked).
I’m running Adobe Bridge 2020 (Version 10.0.0.124) on a Mac with Catalina (10.15.1). In a finder window, I can see a preview of a raw camera image, but that image is NOT visible when looking at the same folder in Bridge. I have cleared all the filters I can find in Bridge, sorted the files every way imaginable and tried every workspace option. I know the image file is valid because I can open it in Photo shop. Do I just need to wait for a functional version of Bridge to be released?
When I open images up by Camera Raw, Bridge would crash. But this will never happen to Photoshop. I did temporarily solve the problem when I turned off the Graphics card performance in Camera Raw's Preference. But the experience of editing in Camera Raw opened up by Bridge isn't that smooth as it in Photoshop. This upsets me very much. Be there any way to solve this problem?
In my company we experience extreme latency when opening files via Bridge across the network. If we access these files locally like a hard drive then tis fine. Is their anything that can be changed to get better performance when using bridge with external servers for multiple images?
