Hallo. Ich habe seit kurzem das Problem das ich im Adobe Bridge die JPGs nicht mehr nach Farbe und Sternen bewerten kann. woran kann das liegen. Danke Rudi
Hi, we generate tons of illustrations using Illustrator CC, so I started creating a keyword list in Bridge to make searching for stuff easier (the purpose of keywords, of course). I didn't want to get too far in without testing, so I applied a single keyword to an .ai file and searched. No result. It won't find the file. However, if I apply the same keyword to any raster image (.png, .jpg, etc.) it finds the file no problem. I didn't get any errors when I applied the keyword to the file, and it shows up when I view the Metadata in Bridge. So why won't search find it? Leads me to believe that .ai vector files won't work with keywords. True, or am I just doing something wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Selecting individual PDF files from Bridge with the image processor.Using default setting without changing size just to open PDF and save to JPG.When processing the images are getting distorted according to the last image saved in photoshop and not recognizing the correct size of the PDF.To solve it first I have to open a PDF image and save it in JPG to use the image processor and then it recognizes the size. In other versions of Photoshop this had been fixed. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
I work in an office where we are asked to use InDesign 2019 because all of the workstations aren't ready for 2020. My workstation (iMac running OS 10.13.6) downloaded 2020, and as long as I start 2019, my files all open in 2019, so no problem there. But today I discovered that when I select images in Bridge and go to Place in InDesign, it launches 2020, even though I have a file open in 2019. I tried the suggestion in this post:https://community.adobe.com/t5/Bridge/Bridge-2019-gt-Place-in-InDesign-2019-not-working/m-p/10398127#M13281…but it didn't help me. To be sure, I launched Bridge 2019 just in case I had inadvertently started Bridge 2020, but I'm sure that I can't do it from Bridge 2019 either. I could uninstall ID 2020, but I'm hoping there's a solution that I can leave it for when we do all start to use it. Any thoughts?
I installed the update to Bridge. Now it does not show my desktop files. Why? How do I fix this?
After upgrading to version 2020, the ability to set keywords for many files (vectors, jeepegs, etc.) was lost. Now the keywords are not visible in the keywords window. Does anyone else have this problem? And more. Previously, it was possible to roll back to several earlier versions of the program. Now only one step back to the previous version. This is a problem for me, as the convenient function of putting the date "today" in the program is no longer there, but there are in the early versions.
This issue is new and is driving me up the wall! Any ideas as to how I can resove it? I am close to dumping Adobe - shame as I have been a user for nearly 20 years! Wondering if whatever is causing Output from Bridge to create poor quality PDFs is going to be corrected. Both Bridge2018 and Bridge2019 produce PDFs with dark, grainy images. If I need to create a PDF to show someone some image options, I have to open an old copy of Bridge2017 to produce one that looks good. Image professionals should be able to expect accurate display of their images when using the premium, and most expensive, product on the market. It'd also be nice if someone could get right of the unnecessary "Photoshop CC is busy..." message that sometime appears when you use Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor...And finally, is there any reason you can't paste a file name into the "Save As:" dialog box when using Output to Export to PDF, like you can on any other dialog box on any other application ever created?
In meinem PS 6 Extended ist es leider nich möglich die die -Mini Bridge- funktion zu öffen. Was ist zu tun?
Has Adobe removed the ability to run batch Photoshop actions from the new version of Bridge? EDIT: I figured this out. I was using 2020 PS and 2019 Bridge, which don't play well together. I also can't figure out how to just delete this message.
Updated today, trying to get anything to load - even small thumbnails is absolutely staggeringly slow. Command 3 to add stars to a selected thumbnail - 30 seconds minimum. Nearly impossible to use this way. Fixes?
Photographers and artists... lend me your ear. After reaching out to adobe support for performance issues with Bridge slow and Photoshop converting images to JPG slow, I was told the issue is clearly WINDOWS 7. Best upgrade to Windows 10. Now I feel like the support person was just ditching my ticket.... (sigh). I am running AMD 8 core 4GHZ with 32GB RAM and SSD drives (different for C / D) as well as a 6GB $300 video card. And what do I get... SLUGGISH performance... Bridge is now seems even slower with the updated version. And yes, I am watching the task manager... the system is NOT getting pegged when Bridge is sluggish. Futher Bridge seems to fail to apply changes across all the selected images in the current version... it will miss images in a collection of 100 selected for updates causing me to check images for changes applied across a set. Yes, I did a fresh install of Windows 10 NOT an upgrade. Come on Adobe, we don't need any new
Recently when I try to batch through Bridge using the Tools> Photoshop>Image Processor it will not let me open the first image to apply settings to all of the images I am batching even if the box is checked to do so. It just runs all the images without stopping at the first one. Any help is appreciated!
Unable to open Illustrator documents through Bridge. All other files open without problems.
Hi all,I have a regular licensed Adobe CS6 full version for Windows with all the apps.I process a lot of photos by Bridge, Camera RAW and Photoshop, the main work that I do is automated and batch processed. I have folders with up to 500 RAW photos, I do massive edit of groups of RAW files to match colors and lights.Since a couple of weeks Bridge became sort of unstable, almost every time I do something, click on a folder, select a file, select two files togheter, click on the right mouse button, Bridge freezes for 20-30 seconds and I am totally blocked and unable to do my regular work.I tryed all the possible solutions: upgraded system drivers, upgraded Windows, resetted Bridge preferences, cleared and erased cache, any possible solution.I also downloaded the free version of Bridge 2020 and it is working fine, but it does not integrate with CS6 version of Camera RAW and Photoshop so it is useless for me.I am really frustrated I am not able to work and follow the usual deadlines...Thank
I just processed an image and when I went to open it in Photoshop CC, the adjustments did not transfer with it. I went back to Bridge and re-processed the image and clicked on "Done" and it did not save the adjustments but instead gave me an error message, "Unable to save to the raw converter settings. There was a write permission error. OK so here is the kicker. I live in Missouri and was walking a friend through processing this image. We both had it open on our monitors and were using Facetime so he could follow along with me. His system is MAC and mine is PC. He lives in Washington and he had the exact same problem. This is a CC software glitch for sure. Anyone know what the problem is.
Is there any way to sort As List view, with Date Created DESCENDING, with the folders on top? So that the newest folder will be on top, and the newsest files under all folders?
I'm running OS 10.12.6 Sierra on my iMac with Adobe CS6 and Bridge 5.0.24.I just bought a new Nikon D7500 and can't open the NEF files in Bridge.I'm planning to buy a new iMac sometime in 2020 and don't want to subscribe to CC2019 and have to move it to the new computer. How do I get a compatible plug-in to use now?I downloaded Camera Raw 10.5 but that didn't work.Help! Thanks, All!
Last week I spent literally four hours with support trying to fix this. The support agent took control of my laptop and FINALLY figured out the problem. In Bridge I cannot see all of the controls because the fonts etc. are HUGE and thus do not display anything. I became super aggravated when I could not follow the tutorial for how to create a contact sheet. I thought "This in no way resembles the tutorial I am seeing." So she fixed it after crashing around my computer like a bull in a china shop. Unfortunately I do not remember HOW or WHAT she did. Why a I asking? Because no less than four days later after we FIXED this, your software upgrade totally trashed it again. I AM WONDERING IF I CAN JUST DELETE THE NEW VERSION OF BRIDGE AND GET ON WITH MY LIFE OR I NEED TO DO THIS AGAIN. I NEED SUPER DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS....NOT SOMETHING LIKE "Just go to powershell and turn regeneraon on" You need to assume no prior knowledge of
Usually do all my metadata entries in Bridge 2017, due to various reasons. This has been working fine until the 2020 update. Now I can no longer add metadata in Bridge 2017. It gives me metadata error: There was an error writing metadata to name.jpgThis happens only with jpg's. My CR2 in the same directory are not affected.Have tried the same on other updated PC's and notebooks, all with the same error
Why does the Bridge workspace keep resetting itself everytime I minimise it? Every time I maximise Bridge I have to reset the workspace and it's getting a F*****G pain in the arse!
Hi guys, I work with Adobe CC 2019 and I also have Desktop pc with I7 - 6900 - 3.2 Ghz, 32 Gb Ram, Nvidia Geforce Gtx 1080 8Gb DDR5 and two samsung SSD 850 Pro 512 GB. Also have a 4k monitor. The problem I am having for same time on bridge is that for having the preview with quality the thumbs needed to be rendered at monitor resolution and this is very slow.I have bought a Samsung SSD M.2 970 Pro Nvme and the question is:1. Should be as OS drive2. Should be my work drive where all me photos are. I work with 8k .nef (nikon raw) from Nikon 850 and I do Architecture Photography. My folders have 200 to 1000 .nef files. My workflow sometimes it's really slow to the fact that I have an amazing hardware.3. For both OS and Work drive.Any help here?ThanksRicardo
I remember this issue from a few years ago and there are some good old posts about exif data on why this happens to PNG files, but unless I'm mistaken it was resolved for a while. Now, in the 2020 update, PNG images that show correctly as 300 ppi (or any value) in Photoshop and other apps show as 72 ppi in Bridge.
For some random reason out of the blue none of my batch actions are working in Bridge. I tried to do a new one with very simple auto contrast and sharpen. And I am getting a flag that says The command " Unsharpen Mask" is not currently available. I batch process from Bridge all the time and have never had an issue. I am not sure why it is doing it now.
I have got a new hard drive on my computer, i have copied images across to Pictures but Bridge cannot find them, it just show Lightroom catalogues that I have set up, could it be it is only finding things that are on the Cloud??
