Bridge

My CS6 Bridge application won't see my new Sandisk Extreme Pro SD 64 gb card.  My IMac computer sees the card and I can manually transfer files, but I can't use Bridge to download the files.  Any suggestions? thanks,bob

Hello! I am a photographer, and I really need help with a problem in Bridge on Mac. Yesterday, I selected the best pics from a photoshoot and placed them in a separate folder "FOR SEND" to make smaller size copies of them in photoshop and send out to the client (I was going to put back the original best photos after I'm done). I saved these photos in a new folder inside "FOR SEND" and named it "for send" After that, I took out the folder "for send" to the original folder that contained "FOR SEND" and it said that I should do something about it because these 2 folders have the same name. I pushed the "replace" button, but instead of saving one of the options and deleting the other, it said something like: "error: some items may not have been processed" after which both folders disappeared. I couldn't find them in trash or via file system. However, they must still be on my computer because the amount of free memory on my laptop didn't decrease. I tried the same thing with some

I use Adobe bridge to view/edit my photos but store them on an external hard drive with a second external hard drive as back up.   I do all my editing and saving on the first hard drive but from time to time, would like to copy these edited files to the second hard drive so that if the first hard drive fails, I dont have to re edit all over again from the raw files.  At the moment, I am copying and replacing all the photos from the first hard drive to the second hard drive.  There must be an easier and quicker way to do this so that only the files that have been changed/edited in the first hard drive are updated on the second hard drive ? 

Hi, I recently lost a significant quantity of JPEG and Raw image files after purchasing and having my data transferred to a new desktop computer (running on Windows 10.) I've since managed to salvage a small quanity through using Recuva, a piece of file recovery software, however most of the image files will not open in any of the photo viewing/editing apps I have installed, including Photoshop and Windows Photo Viewer. I just discovered earlier this evening however that the so-called corrupt JPEGs are still viewable in Adobe Bridge as thumbnails, though I can't open them. Does anyone know if there is a way to open these files via Bridge, or would I need to purchase a piece of software that repairs damaged image files (I can't seem to find any free ones, apart from 'trial' versions of paid ones, which don't seem to work on mine) and if so, then can anyone recommend any that are good value and work well? I have set up my headshot pages with the names attached, via Adobe Bridge. But I have backgrounds, and with a background behind the heads, instead of a name, I get <multiple intersecting links>. Is it possible to have background images behind my headshot where I've done a data merge?Cathy

Dear all, if someone can PLEASE help! I've added all sorts of keywords, tag photos with them and then my Macbook burnt out. After having it fixed and installing bridge again, there were no keywords there of course, but then I accessed the Photos and when I click them the keywords reappear like nothing happened. The problem is: when I shut Bridge down, they dissapear all over again and when I open it goes back to not having any keywords at all and I need to click on photos with the keywords for them to appear again and they stay there until I shut Bridge down again. How can I make the stay?? Can anyone help? Thank you.

iMac: macOS Big Sur v11.1Adobe Bridge 2021 v11.0.0.83Camera Raw 13.1 When I edited a raw file in camera raw by sliding Blacks or Whites in Basics, the app hung and crashed iMac. the keybord and mouse lost connection and until iMac restarted. Thank you for your help. 

When I open Adobe Bridge 2021, I always get this message: We can’t verify your subscription status.We can’t reach the Adobe servers. This may be because you’re not connected to the internet. Check your connection and try again below. If you’re still having issues, please see our connectivity troubleshooting guide. When I receive this message I am always connected to the internet. I have a choice of signing out or trying again - which doesn't work and the troubleshooting guide doesn't list this problem. I do have an account with Adobe which I just signed into, so I can't figure out why my subscription status can't be verified. Any suggestions?

My local MacBook drives were getting very close to full so I installed a Synology NAS drive (DS218+) and moved all of my photo shoots to the NAS.  Every application I have is able to use the NAS except Bridge.  I have spent several days searching the net for a solution, but so far, I'm not finding one.  What I am having to do at the moment is to copy the desired shoot from the NAS back to my local drive, work with it there, and then move everything back to the NAS drive.  This is a horrible solution.  I can see my NAS partition in the navigation panel of Bridge, I can even right click on it in Bridge and eject it, but when I select it, I go into "Building Criteria" and spin forever.  If anyone has a suggestion, pls post. I have been using Bridge for a long time and prefer to keep using it, but if its not supported on a network drive, if you found another software solution that provides the same or similar function, pls let me know.   Thanks!

What does it mean when Bridge shows images from my photo library with green shading?

Hello. When I download and open a file in Bridge/ACR I'd like the Sharpening and Optics to always be applied as per the first screenshot. I have successfully created 2 presets (second screenshot) but can't seem to figure out how to always apply these 2 presets to all images; it's always one or the other, not both. Can someone please advise what I'm doing wrong here, which boxes I need to check and/or which procedure I should follow to always apply these two presets to all images? Thanks for any help!

moin und danke für eure unterstützung. seit einiger zeit startet mein adobe bridge nicht mehr. und dabei könnte ich das programm so oft so gut gebrauchen. leider kann ich die ursache überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen und verschiedenste kontaktversuche mit der adobe hotline haben mich kein stück weiter gebracht. vielleicht weiss hier jemand einen rat. das wäre toll. also, das problem ist ganz einfach zu beschreiben. nach dem klick auf's programm startet es, um dann nach einer weile wieder in sich zusammenzufallen und zu beenden. das dialogfeld zum schluss verkündet: "das objekt kann nicht angezeigt werden. möglicherweise wurde es verschoben oder umbenannt" nur - das wurde es nicht. es ist offensichtlich alles an seinem platz. oder was fehlt? besten dank für das interesse und viele grüsse aus hamburg

I have recently in last two weeks bought a new Mac and downloaded bridge, The operating system is SUR an update on Catalina. I cannot label my images these I have stored on an external hard drive.I am using bridge/photoshop 2021 and it dosnt matter from I can see if I used the labels menu or comand key and say for then hit 5 key.please helpThank you. 

Hello,I noticed in Bridge that for JPGs the colour profile is not respected in the preview (space bar) or overview.The difference is clear between PNG and JPG of the same file, both exported as sRGB. While the files appear the same on browsers, in Bridge the JPGs remain in Adobe RGB, they look duller than their version in PNG (sRGB).Is this something to fix?

After excrutiating CPU-killing lagging from Lightroom, I finally migrated to Bridge to do all my image processing. Lo and behold, everything went smoothly until ...... I updated Bridge 2020.Exporting now takes 10x longer. Don't even get me started on Bridge 2021.Adobe, get your act together!

For some reason I can't download and install version 11.0.1 verson of Bridge. My Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop says the update is "not compatible"   because my computer's Windows 10 version is not 1903 or later. But my computer has the latest version of windows. Plus, Photoshop, Lightroom and all my other Adobe creative cloud apps update just fine. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?

I have a few thumbnails that, when opened in Camera Raw, are actually different pictures that appear within that working folder.  I've found about 5 of them in the same folder that do this.  I believe this is a recent event as I've never noticed this before.  Does anyone have any ideas? -Kurt

I am trying to get the imgaes from my SD card, convert to DNG and save to my computer. I've done it a million times, but today I am getting the error message: Adobe Bridge cannnot obtain files from this device. Please ensure that the device is connected prooperly, or that the battery is charged, and try again. I tried a different card reader and different USB ports and still the same error. I even uninstalled Bridge and reinstalled it so it is the most up to date version. In the preview before I click "Get Media" I can see all of the images so I know it's reading my card.

Hello. In Bridge how can I view file name and label of an image file in filmstrip? Right now the file name and label is shown in the Preview pane, but the image thumbnails in the Content pane are blank, there's no info (except for folders which do have their name displayed). If it matters, the filmstrip is shown in vertical mode. Also, if I view all the thumbnails in Essentials, the file name and label are displayed. Thanks for any help!

I updated my Mac to Mojave & the latest Bridge update. Ever since then, when I plug my camera into the computer it recognizes the camera, but says "This device does not contain any supported media." If I hit refresh it appears like it's loading for a split second, then back to the same message. I tried on my old version of Bridge & even iPhoto & it does not recognize my camera's images. (I am trying to import jpegs, so RAW images would not be the issue)

In the past month Adobe has finally gotten clever enough to lock me out of using Bridge Version 8 from 2018, which without question had the best GUI interface of any. It would no longer allow me to invoke Camera Raw (well played Adobe). Hi,In the last few cersions of Bridge - I have the latest on my Mac, Photodownloader open as it should and downloads images from my sd card (on desktop)to eventually open images in Bridge. All as expected.Here's the but: I tool 30 RAW images on my SD card and here is what happened.Time for downloader to copy from SD card on desktop to new folder on desktop abpout 30 seconds.Time to just drag and drop from SD on desktop  to folder on desktop about 10 seconds.Time for "Import from Device" from SD card on desktop to new folder on desktop 10 seconds.SD card read by reader and appears on desktop every time.RAW files averaged 30meg each. Any thoughts - memory says this used not to be the case. Thank you, Steve1812

1st shots downloaded.  In File manager I can see thumbnails, but not in CC, just icons.  Too new, so IU have to update.  Try to and get spinning circle, won't update.  Go to Adobe.com and it's saying Photoshop subscription is $20/month.  Did they double their price?  Will that apply, or the $40/month for an ap when I went there just before?  Why can FM have thumbs and not Bridge?  Outrageous. Try again, spinning circle.  every update ruins things further, totally upsetting once smooth workflow.
