I am creating contact sheets from bridge using output. What I'd like to do is save paths to each image if you click on them making it interactive. Can I do this thru bridge? Is there a script out there? I can do it manually from Acrobat however this is a big library of images
I'm old and my eyes aren't clear any more. I'm trying to get the text size of labels bigger so I can read them easily. The workspace elements are fine for size and I can change image sizes, but how do you make the label text bigger.I've worked with Windows Display modifications. They change other folders, desktop, icons, menus, etc. just fine, but have no effect on the Adobe CS6 Suite displays. I've been through the forum, FAQs, Bridge users Guide, Working with Bridge Workspace, Preferences, and looked online for help. So far no good.By the way, I sometimes use Dreamweaver, Audition, and Premier Pro and suffer from the same limitations. If there is a way to fix all of them, I'd appreciate knowing.
as i click on "manage cache" on folder, it creates a txt very strange file. is it something to worry about? (i use Imac +Mojave 10.14.2)
When I import from a card or a disk, Bridge changes the order in which the photographs were taken, so that the raws bo have correlated numets, which makes the subsequent selection very difficult. I do not know what is due. Any help or suggestion? Thank you

My image/document previews no longer display after installing Bridge 2019. So frustrating as I use Bridge in my workflow all day every day.I ultimately uninstalled 2019/reinstalled 2018 and 2018 works fine.I have tried to purge the cache, delete all settings/reset, remove settings files from libraries, etc, etc, etc. but in the end I found 2018 to work. Not sure if this is an isolated issue, but here's a screen grab of what I now see when trying to use Bridge 2019 (below). Awesome:
Hello,Apologies if this isn't the correct forum to ask this question:I am currently using the DAM Filename to Title script with Bridge CS4 - http://www.damuseful.com/pages/PimpMyBridge.html - to get the filename into the IPTC title script. This however puts in the extension into the title field also. So a JPG file named 2000 ends up with 2000.JPG in its Title field. I wish to not have the extension appear in the Title field. Is this possible by modifying the DAM script / using any other freely available script. In case it helps, this is what the DAM script currently looks like:#target bridgeif ( BridgeTalk.appName = "bridge" )//-----------------------------------------------------------------------//This script copies selected thumbnails' filenames to the title field //Also shows how to add menu items//The AdobeLibrary scripts must be loaded//This script was created by John Beardsworth www.beardsworth.co.uk/ and modified by Peter Krogh www.DAMuseful.com//This script may be freely distrib
I am experimenting with the new cache features in Bridge 2019. Is it normal during a build and export (or import) for Bridge to lock the user from doing other things in bridge - in other bridge windows? That is what is happening to me.
Bernard Castelein
I have an old version of Bridge and ACR, bought with PS6 in 2012. Bridge has been working fine until today.I'm working in Filmstrip. The thumbnails and large image are normal but when I select one and open it in Adobe Camera Raw, the colours change. They're 'bleached', leached of vibrancy. Can anyone help with this issue? Many thanks!
I am using a custom Bridge script to manage stacks. The script requires a value that changes depending on the user workflow. At the moment, the user must hardcode the value in the script. What are the choices to simplify the task of opening the script and assigning the value to a variable?Ideally, the script would be listed in the preference panel where the user inputs the value. The script is available as a menu item in the menu bar.
I've been using scripts to automate data entry in Bridge for years (i.e., set filename to title, CSV Extract, DIY Metadata, etc.). The newest version of CC Bridge (Version 9.0.2.219) appears to recognize the scripts, but doesn't enable them. I am not getting an error or any other pop-up message that prevents them from loading. They are simply not showing up in any of the corresponding menus (Tools, MetaData, or Scripts depending on the file). The scripts still work with Bridge CC 2017 and 2018. Any thoughts?
Been having this issue for a while. Updates do not help. New operating system does not help either.Co-worker in office running a separately licensed Adobe CC/Bridge has same issue but at different times.
Coping or Moving files from one folder to another in BRIDGE, on Windows 10, deletes the files after telling me they are already in the destination folder? Why does this happen and where do they go?

Hi,My friend have a problem to start Photoshop CC 2018 when selecting Open with. He had CS6 installed which he uninstalled (2018 before was an option then) and after that he was not able to do open with. When we open Preferences/File associations we only see Photoshop, not Photoshop CC 2018 in the list. Probably a Win10 registry problem. Will an uninstall/reinstall of Bridge CC 2018 help?
Hi, 1. Due to the functionality of Bridge (ie it's really good for me), I continue to use it, however the speed is just... terrible. I can tolerate how long it takes to load up the images ( I just let it run while I... take a nap or something). However, once everything is loaded up, Bridge just takes too long to delete selected images as well as images I would like to simply hide. 2. I've read the various documentation on Cache but would like to get very specific and concrete (ie basic) recommendations on how to deal with the above problem (if it even exists). Thanks in advance, Harry
I've looked at much of the xmp documentation but so much is really beyond me. Any ideas? Thanks!
I've been creating collections in Bridge. Within each collection, I have images I've labeled red/green/yellow, etc. to sort through what images to trash/keep/review.I labeled about 100 images in one collection, was done with work for the day and quit Bridge. Today, half of my labels remained. So my questions are:I'm assuming that if I clear the Bridge cache it will erase all of of my labels?Does it clear out all my collections too?Can you have an image marked as a star rating and a label? I tried to do this and it would remove label if I changed the star rating.Thanks.E
I'm very interested in the new shared cache feature in bridge as this could save our studio a lot of time.I wanted to test this out so I pointed Bridge to a folder with a single wedding's worth of Canon RAW files and let it export the cache to a shared network drive.I noticed that as it chugged along, Bridge kept using more and more RAM. After about eight hours, OSX had to pause the program because Bridge was using 90GB of RAM and I had complete ran out of swap space on my system drive.I'm not sure how we're supposed to use this feature if I can't successfully export cache for a single wedding, much less for a season's worth of weddings, without it bringing my Late 2013 Mac Pro to its knees.Has anyone else been testing this feature?
Hello,We separated a bunch of images by decade and applied multiple keywords to every image. The keyword file was exported as a text file just in case, and all has been going well.Today, one random folder no longer has any of the keywords checked anymore? They are in the keywords area, and I have tried to re-import the text file, but still nothing.Does anyone know how this could possibly happen? And, is there anyway to have them show up again?thanks!Babs
When I open Bridge, Adobe CC I get messages like this even though I have all the latest updates on Mac and from Adobe CC 2019 and just yesterday 1/22/19 Photoshop just freezes up and quit without saving my work.Below the top screen shot was taken today 1/23/19 the other two below are from last month (Dec 2019).Any help would be greatly appreciative since I'm using this program for my job at work.Thank you, F.G.
I think I have the latest V9.0.2.219 for Windows.I have several large libraries that need to be visually searched with thumbnails. I am currently opening a 50 GB folder with subfolders and approximately 10,000 files, probably 80% of them graphics files. The files are stored on a remote cloud drive, so there is some time delay in retrieving the full files. It now looks like it will take 5 plus hours to build the cache of thumbnail previews. Is there a way of speeding up the building of the thumbnail cache? Possibly by suppressing the creation of 100% previews completely? I have already checked the box to prioritize thumbnails over previews.Further: I just want to confirm that, once the thumbnail cache is built, it will remain until purged. Is there any problem, given sufficient disk space, in maintaining the cache without purging it?
Hello,I am having Radom freezes that result in the applications not responding in both Bridge and Photoshop (Latest CC 2019 Versions)When this happens. the Mac mini 2018 becomes very unstable and the end result and only way to get either of those apps to open is to do a complete system restart. This is happening way to many times, and quite frankly has been the case for several months now with any Adobe application. It seems like every time there is an update to CC this happens. What gives?
