Bridge

I have a subfolder under Documents named ! A for Jim that is accesible to Windows Explorer and everything else but will not display in Bridge. Please see my attachment. It's a PITA and I jhope someone has an idea to fic this. Thank you! Jim Dodds

It seems that any .MOV file is completely blown out or discolored in Bridge 2020. I'm running Windows 10 with an RTX 2070 Super. Whenever I open them in After Effects, they preview just fine. I'd rather use Bridge to preview these files instead of importing them blindly into After Effects to view them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! 

I'm having a major problem with the thumbnails in Bridge that's making it almost unusable for me. My thumbnails have no smoothing at all. They look jagged and skippy in the small details of the image. I don't remember them ever looking this way in the past, because I would have been unable to use Bridge if they had. I've tried checking and unchecking any setting I can think of related to previews and thumbnails and clearing my cache each time. I've noticed that sometimes after clearing the cache that the thumbnails will be smoothed for a second then go back to the jagged preview with no smoothing. I use Bridge whilst looking at a lot of ink and pencil drawings, so this is a problem because it basically turns the thumbnails into unreadable, garbled pixels. Good Morning I cannot open Bridge after continuing crashes over the past few days. I reported and it seems RAW plus JPEG files don't work well.  Now I get this error.The application “Adobe Bridge 2020.app” is not open anymore.  I uninstalled software and re-install and still having issues. I cannot use Adobe Bridge even thought it says it is open.  I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks 

So I'm trying to see the thumbnails that I used to view my photos in bridge so I can easily organize them into folders. But the problem is that they are not showing up, but they are showing under windows explorer. Is their a way to fix this. I posted a screenshot to show it. I am really frustrated with the Bridge 2020 downloader is not working as it should - I have only discovered this problem recently where: when attempting to download images from a memory card the downloader will stop and advise that there is an error:Adobe Bridge cannot obtain all files from this device. Please ensure that the device is connected properly, or that the battery is charged. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge to no avail 😞I have also tried three different card readers, same issue happens on all devices.I am working on a macbook with macOS Catalina v.10.15.5.Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello.. i need an urgent help..I took HDR photos and when I open them in Bridge, it changed the exposure automatically and all my HDR photos look the same.. I couldnt solve the problem. I checked the photos in Photoshop and i saw that the changes are permanent. All 3 HDR photos looked the same in photoshop too..I deleted all the photos and load again from my external drive but when i open in Bridge it started to chang them all again.. What can I do? Thanks

I using macOS 10.15.5 and Bridge v10.1.0.163. I batch a Description for several images. Then I go back and try to add specific items to individual images. This has always worked for me in the past but the new version will not accept the edits to individual descriptions. For example; batch description for 20 images: DUNEDIN FL - Honeymoon Island State Park. Once I apply it I go back and edit the description by adding  - Brown Pelican or whatever. Bridge no longer lets me "apply" these changes. Am I missing something with this new version? 

Does bridge make a copy of a file and overwrite it when changing metadata?

When I export a PSD file into a JPG from the Export Panel, I get the transparency replaced with black instead of the usual white background. I don't see an option for this in the export panel or presets.  

Filmstrip in bridge does not show photo but shows NEF logo instead. If I open the file it works perfectly in Photoshop RAW

When I try to browse video files (ProRes transcoded with Kyno from DNxHR) sometimes thumbnails are created and sometimes not. Same kind of files some have thumbnails and some not (only the icon of the program I use to view video files (SM player) It is confusing me as sometimes opening a folder created the thumbnails quickly but when I jump to the next folder those are not created although I can play them but with no thumbnail Bridge is of no use to me. Why is this randomly happening?

I'm trying to export a file as a png, but the dropdown menu is greyed out and I can't change it from jpeg. I've tried changing all the other export options, even using different files (eg png, psd) 

My Bridge keeps crashing. And I can't even force quit the programme. What is the point of this update. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Bridge does seem to have some simple ways of modify and entering IPTC data on a photo. Regretably, such changes seem to confuse Lightroom Classic. Error messages start appearing in LR of "conflict detected" which when one tries to correct in LR, leads to changes in settings. One of my complaints about the family of Photo Editing tools is its lack of common user interface AND lack of communication between products. A change in meda data using Bridge should not cause a problem in LR or PS or anywhere else. We are all one big happy family here..... or maybe not. If I change some meta data in Bridge, I expect it to changed in LR. Afterall, the meta data is part of the photo, not of some magic Adobe catalogue. And don't tell me to Synchronize the folder. The confusing on PS part remains (and perhaps gets worse). Rather than call this a family, it really should be called a "hodgepodge" if there is such a word. 

I'm using Bridge 10.1, however, this has happened prior to this lastest update. When I view images in Bridge, I get a white solid block of line above my document name. I can only get rid of it, if I change the label to "No Label". Is there anyway that I can hide that field entirely? Like some sort of checkbox that I can just uncheck? Thank you.

What has happened to one of the fundamental functions of bridge? Star rating has now become unusable. Ive re installed. Ive followwed every thread i can find. purged caches. reset workspaces. Still its unusable? How could you mess this function up so badly. I ve seen hundreds of threads complaining. What can i do? Any suggestions?

I am trying to install the Output Module for Bridge on my Mac. I have followed the directions (numerous times), the very last step, “click Go at the “Go to the Folder” I get an error that says “The Folder Can’t Be Found”. I tried installing through Chrome and Safari but always the same. I am waiting for Adobe Support online chat, but its taking a really long time so thought I would try the community.Thank you for any help,LAPB

Hello, I store all my creative assets on an external hard drive, synced to OneDrive When I create a collection in Bridge the pictures not all the pictures I have stored on the external hard drive are showing up. Update: The pictures do show up in my collections when I browse to the folder containing the pictures within Bridge. How do I sync all my pictures in Bridge without having to manually visit every folder? Mike

In The latest adobe Bridge update the program doesn't run and I don't know why that happens. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but it remains the same. I need help urgently please

You did really great ruining this application, should give the money back to us.

In past version of Bridge, the crop tool would retain the last used crop ratio. With the latest version, it is necessary to set for each new image. Please restore the feature where crop ratio starts with the last used ratio. Alternatively provide a way to set the default crop ratio in preferences. For example, I like to use a 5 x 7 crop ratio on most all of my photos, however, Bridge always starts with a 2 x 3 ratio and I have to change the setting every new image.
