Hi, I used to do this like a breeze but I stopped doing photography for a while. I have these CR2 on Bridge , they are still on my card, I selected them nd need to bring them to the desktop, as I click on one of them to drag the all thing I deselect all of them, how do you do that? thanks
With PSD files that have transparency, I notice the bounding box of the files are getting clipped to the edge of transparency. This happens with or without Tiles being turned on. This is the file in Bridge 2019. The white on the outside is transparent:This is the same file in Bridge 2020:The ony way I can see the whole image with transparency is to turn on the fugly transparancy grid option.Why is this happening? Please tell me it's a bug and not a "new feature".
Bridge scrolling is the opposite from all other applications. How do I change this?
Hey gang. I'm struggling with a new Macbook Pro and the Photo Downloader in Bridge. I've always been able to set the Advanced Dialog box as default (or so I thought) when importing images, but this time that little rat (Standard Dialog) keeps opening, forcing me to input all of my metadata info and catalog settings into the Advanced Dialog EVERY SINGLE TIME I import images.....such a waste of time. Can anyone tell me how to make the AD my default, puuuhhhlease?
Hi all I've just downloaded Bridge on my home computer as we use it to search at work, which is better than spotlight. It obvioulsy needs to index on the first run search and I've whacked the cache size up nice and high for quicker future searches. My problem is that it will search/index up to a certain point and just stop/hang on a single hidden folder ~/usr/sbin/authserver I've searched for this folder by showing hidden files. I found it, it's empty with zero bytes and has the red locked icon on the folder icon. I can do nothing with it at all. Can't change permissions, move it, delete it, unlock it or anything. Anyone any ideas on how to unlock it or to stop Bridge from getting to that folder and pausing/stopping its search??? Thanks in advance. Symeon {Thread renamed by moderator}
I've just upgraded my work PC (Windows 10 Enterprise v.1903). Unfortunately I still can't see, couldn't on my old Win10 pc either, thumbnails (RAW/NEF) when using Bridge Photodownloader:What to do?
Hello,Is it possible to configure Bridge 2020 feature "Open in Camera Raw" to open image in Photoshop Elements's Camera Raw ?I find it not working, instead it says "Camera Raw is not enabled". But I also have older version of actual Photoshop installed (CS6), which naturally also has own (older) version of Camera Raw. I think it is possible Adobe Bridge tries open that older Camera Raw first and then finds it incompatible and gives an error.But latest Camera Raw from Elements should work right? I'm using win10.
So, I recently updated all of my programs, and individually both Photoshop and Bridge are running fine, however when I try to open an image in bridge it is comming up that it cannot find Photoshop. 'Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Photoshop.exe' proceeded by 'Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.' How do I go about rectifying this issue? Thanks in advance! {Thread renamed by moderator}
A coworker just went into a folder of images on our Mac server and put color tags on the favorites (i.e. green tags on "good" images). Now I want to edit in Bridge. How can I show these color tags in Bridge? I know that I could do some kind of manual workaround but I'd rather not, considering the amount of images involved.
Hi guys, I have a very annoying issue with Bridge UI: everytime I minimize it and back to Bridge, or switch to another application, the Favorites and Preview windows disappear. I have to open the windows menu and restore them, everytime...I already contacted Adobe Customer Service, the man told me that it is a bug that occur with the latest versions of Microsoft Windows 10 (tbh, I don't think this is the reason, but actually with the old ones it never happened...). Clean cache, reset to default or uninstall and reinstall doesn't fix the problem.Is there a solution for that? Anyone experiencing the same issue?I run Bridge 10.0.1.126 on Windows 10 Pro 1909 (build SO 18363.535).Thanks to everyone who can help. (y)
I updated Bridge and it gives me the no valid files message after connecting the 11 Pro phone. I had trouble with the old Bridge as well but with several tries it usually started to upload the images. So far nothing has worked
I'm in Windows 10 64-bit. Adobe Bridge 2020 shows a normal thumbnail for a PSD file and shows a full monitor preview when the spacebar is pressed. However it behaves oddly for Illustrator saved AI files. In a typical Illustrator file (artboard width about 800px or 11 ins), which includes a linked PSD file, I have reduced the artboard to fit a selected object (which is smaller than larger background objects) but the Bridge thumbnail image shows the extent of all the objects outside the artboard even though the visibility is off. So the effect is that the artboard is only a small part of it. I want the artboard to fill the thumbnail image like a PSD thumbnail. Also, when I show the fullscreen preview by pressing the spacebar, the image is the same size as the thumbnail ie it does not fill the monitor screen as the PSD thumbnails do. If I click it to increase to 200% it does expand but the text resolution is very poor. Can anyone suggest what is going on and how I can change setting
I have an Adobe CC app and always update Photoshop and Bridge from there. Now, when I am open ACR from Bridge (v. 10.0.1), make my adjustments and click open, I get Photoshop 2019 (v. 20.0.8) instead of Photoshop 2020 (v. 21.0.2). I know how to edit preferences to choose which application to open images to, but when I try the "browse" option I can't find Photoshop 2020. Can anyone tell me where to find it? Thanks.
Recently I updated Adobe Bridge.Some, but not all of my files in folders now appear with a .cloud after the .psd. No preview of the file appears and they will not open.I understand this is a very basic question but apparently it was too complex for Adobe Tech support.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
HiUsing the latest Bridge 9.0.2Currently and forever the keyword separator is a semi colon ;It would be much more useful if this separator was a comma ,Very often i need to use my keywords somewhere else and other places only recognise separator as a comma. So here's the crazy thing Lightroom, DOES use comma as a separator, BUT lightroom reorganises keywords in alphabetical order, which totally messes up using keywords in Lightroom. I MUST have keywords in my own custom order ie most relevant at the top.So right now i have to copy all keywords from Bridge (as Lightroom messes them up) in to a word processor and 'find and replace' semi colons with commas. EVERYTIME i create a new image i have to do this. Its a waste of time and its something that could be fixed easily.Even better would be an option to select what separator you want to use (within logical reason)I see no way of changing this, does anyone know if it's possible? Thanks for letting me rantMrE
Hello,I read the warning on this forum not to install the last new released version of bridge the 13 december 19.Today the 27 th of december 2019, I tried again to install the new version of bridge, it seems for me it does not work at all.Does this problem will be solved for the catalina users one day? Best regards, Alice63.ps: I gave system permissions to bridge (after reading the answer from jbm007 to nomdeploom from 26 december 2019)), here is a screenshot of my system mac catalina.
Hi,I have problem with Bridge 2020 on my Mac (Catalina 10.15.2). When I open Bridge I see onlny black spaceses (screenshot). What I done: re-innstall, restart workspaces. Other Adobe product works fine (photoshop and lightroom). Any ideas? Thx.Greg
as the subject says...when I move the Bridge window over to a second screen it only shows up where most of the 'window estate' is visible, but doesn't stretch over. (is was and why should this be possible:I need to push the window a way a little to work on was underneath but still need the bridge window viewable (without having to resize window or pushing it all the way to a another screen another scenario: I want the preview window really big, but still want to see all thumbnails and files panes as before) (mac pro 2020, Bridge 2020, three LG Ultra Fine Screens, Catalina MacOS 10.15. 2all worked with mac pro 2013 MacOS0.14.)
I must be doing something wrong... what happens is:- I start Adobe Bridge CC 2019- I click the 'get photos' button- the photo downloader takes forever to start but then gets loaded- it sees my 1000+ pictures on the iPhone- I can select photos for download(- I have to change my settings because they are not retained, not even the photo naming preference, but that is reported elsewhere by others too)- then as soon as I download I get the msg that photos are not available.The phone is not locked, the photos are there.I'm using a macbook pro 2012 / MacOS Mojave / Bridge CC2019 9.0.2.219 with my iPhone Xr.Does anyone recognise the problem and have a fix?I must say that I have had problems with a previous version of Bridge as well and have stopped using it, but my workflow is so much easier with Bridge and the downloader.Regards,Wiljo
Why does Bridge completely change the way I like to use it every time I upgrade it? I sort of use it as a finder for all of my projects on my Mac, and I have always prefered a list view on the left, files in the middle, preview on the right. Every upgrade makes me reset this whole thing! Now, I've had to replace a dead computer, but d-loaded Adode CC to it...and Bridge is doing it again...and I can't figure out how do get my old, comfortable config up again. Stop it Adobe! I have work to do! Russell
As you can see there is no thumbnail when importing RAW file from my Sony A7 RIV, it works fine with my Sony A7M3. And even windows explorer does have the thumbnail.
If you are using Mac OS Catalina DO NOT INSTALL the update. Bridge will c rash every couple of minutes and your system will become unstable. They need to pull the update from the site
No consigo que el Bridge arranque, lo des instalo y lo vuelvo a instalar pero nada
Versions:- Bridge 10.0.1.126- Photoshop 21.0.2After the standard update of Photoshop 20.0.8 to 21.x.x with Creative Cloud Desktop, I had 2 versions of Photoshop installed, 20.x and 21.x. and the "open with" in Bridge shows the old 20.x. one. Because I don't need 2 versons of Photoshop, I deinstalled the 20.x and after this, the "open with" in Bridge doesn't offer any Photoshop. I already have de- and reinstalled Bridge, but no success. How can I configure Bridge to get the Photoshop entry in the Kontext menue?
