Hello,I have a folder with many images into and I'm need to add metadata (keyword) to the images from folder's name.Ex: folder name: "lemon iced tea" / images keyword: "lemon iced tea".I didn't find a way to do it.Can anyone help me??Thank you!

I have Adobe Bridge 2020 on both a PC and a laptop using Windows 10. I only use one machine at a time.All my images are on a 1tb external drive.From Bridge on my PC I relocated the cache to a folder on the external drive to save computer space. This set up works fine but if I attach the external drive to my laptop and open Bridge I want to be able to access the cache on the external drive but don't seem to be able to do it. Can anyone help please.

Hi All, When I am using Bridge and go into preferences the preference box is opening out of the top of my monitor screen. So I am unable to drag it down to get to all of the settings how can I get it back to normal.   Regards Melvyngd   {Thread title edited by moderator}

Hi We have lots of client images, photos of work etc. These are currently all over a Server.We want a way to Catalogue, Tag, Divide up our whole collection in one place. We've never looked at or used Bridge before and, at first glance, it looks achievable but I've been trawling the internet and no one has really discussed it with the current versions of Creative Suite. I have had a play and for a single user on one machine it's great but when i then log into Bridge on my Laptop they aren't there. I also then want to share my library with a colleague and can't work that out either. Or am i looking at the wrong solution for this? Any help appreciated. 

I'd like to run two slide shows, each from a separate Bridge windows, each on a separate monitors.Is that possible? If so, how can I do that? Thanks, Phil

HI, After latest update for Photoshop and Bridge discover a major problem in Bridge Somehow cant add metadata, or label or anything to Jpeg files. It is SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!!! How I can resolve this problem?????? PLS HELP!!!!!!

I imported some photos that have keywords in the Metadata. Is there a way to batch delete all keywords from a selection of photographs. I don't want to open each of the hundreds of photos to delete the keywords in the metadata. Thanks

I have Bridge 2019. I want to be able to make a contact sheet as before, where it createds a layered file with the images each on a separate layer. I want to be able to rearrange the images on the contact sheet. For example I might want 5 images on one sheet. 4 landscape shape and one portrait shape. Previously in earlier versions of Bridge I could have 2 columns and 3 rows, and load the landscape ones first, across first and second rows, and the portrait one last. Then in CC with the Move tool I could move the portrait one into the centre of the third row.Now with the Output Module, I don't seem to be able to do that. Firstly the images no longer remain in the order I have arranged them in in Bridge, they become arranged in alphabetical order of title, and secondly, the 5th image, the vertical one, is placed into the bottom left square of the grid, and is not movable to the centre of the third row.Please can you explain how I might do what I want to do. Hello.How can view the RAW files in Adobe Bridge like the pictures as I took them with the camera - in the JPEG look? In the currently raw view it's difficult to sort out the pictures (by the way: i can not open the files with CameraRaw because the newest CameraRaw version of Lightroom 5 and PSE is apparently not compatible to Bridge)  Thanks

Hey everyone! I'm not sure if this is easy to fix or something Adobe can help me with, but doesn't hurt to ask. I've recently started using Bridge (2020 version) again after not using for a few months. I had inserted my memory card to the slot in the 2015 Macbook Pro and when I opened Bridge a popup window appeared asking to approve access to removable disk or media (I can't remember the wording exactly). When I tried to access my photos on the memory card, nothing came up. I tried looking in the system preferences but wasn't sure where to look to change the access. I then tried to uninstall the software without saving the preferences to see if that made a difference. I'm wondering if there is a setting or system preference somewhere that I can change.

Hi, I'm a photographer I only want to juse Bridge and the Extra option that comes with it 'Camera Raw'. I don't need anything else, no photoshop, no ... I was wondering if this is possible. I'm also a student so maybe this is like a cheaper option?  Already thankyou for helping. 🙂 Greetings!Hanne

How can i make a contact sheet from a library, with the image names as per using output?  Need client to make their picks and give us names of images to use.

I was tagging a folder of files (all pdfs, not huge) just fine until today. I can still change tags/ratings on files that already have them, as well as other things in other folders, but not the remaining 30 or so files in this folder. They are not locked, I have read and write permissions on the files, I just can't tag/rate them.  I'm up to date on the program, I've tried the short cut keys or tagging them through the menu, I've tried it with the "require command key" off or on, I've cleared my cache multiple ways, nothing. I've filtered through plenty of other similar but not quite scenarios to mine, and my own troubleshooting hasn't gotten me anywhere. Any other ideas?

While reinstalling PS and other programs after a motherboard change I encountered an error that tells me that my system doesn't meet the compatibility requiements for Bridge.I find this strange as I had just downloaded and installed PS.System is an Intel i7core processor with 32GB Ram and plenty of HD space.  I'd ask Adobe about this directly but it seems to be absolutely impossible to contact them via chat, email or phone.  I get stuck in a endless loop that takes me back to the same page every time.  A page that has NO contact info on it at all.   

I am trying to add meaningful metadata to my pictures and there are a few instances where I added more levels of organization to the metadata but Bridge will not allow me to delete the first metadata.  For example, I originally was naming all the pictures of swimmers I was taking.  Over time I then realized I wanted Swimmers to be a Keyword and each swimmer to by a Sub Keyword; but I have thousands of pictures where each swimmer still shows up as a Keyword.  Is there a way I can write a script or use another program that would allow me to select all the files in all the directories I have which could allow me to move all the swimmers to fall under the new Swimmer keyord?

Hello. I have been troubleshooting an issue of missing files from a server. I understand that Adobe's stance is that it does not support server saving/usage.A few users have reported files disappearing off a network share. One user had a folder open in Adobe Bridge, only to notice that a subfolder disappeared. Server logs and client workstation auditing shows that the files were deleted by the user (everything matches up, including timestamps). User states that the folder was not deleted intentionally.After review of of these instances, a commonality is that all the users who report missing folders all have Bridge installed on their workstations. We suspect that Bridge might be somehow deleting files/folder without user intervention. Have anyone had similar experiences?Adobe Bridge installations are all recent/updated. These missing folders appear to occur over both AFP and SMB protocols. Client machines are macOS High Sierra, Mojave, and Windows 7, 10 workstations.

Would it make sense to periodically export Brdge keywords as a way to create a backup for them?

Hi, I've been a user of Bridge for many years and as far as I remember it has been a stable and reliable product helping me with productivity in my workflow. This was abruptly changed with the 2020 release. Now Bridge and Photo Downloader appears still be in Beta phase, which is absurd.  I am on a fresh Windows 10 platform, fully updated, and the application is constantly spitting out random errors, making it completely unusable. Here are a couple of the more critical ones:Selecting a download folder shows a corrupt Windows Explorer. I randomly can't select a folder. Sometimes I can.              After finally being able to select a folder and begin downloading images from my memory card, the program fails. And the last error is a complete crash of the program. All I'm trying to do is import pictures from my memory card to my computer. BRAndreas

I'm finding myself needing to edit sequences of photos more and more. From a selection of, lets say 40 photographs, I'm pulling 10 images and then putting them into a particular order (think Instagram etc). Is Bridge the best way to do this, or has Adobe got better tools for doing this?  

I'm on Mac OS Catalina and since switching I've found that I'm not able to delete files out of my local Dropbox folder through bridge. I get an error message and then have to navigate through the finder.   Additionally I'm not able to see anything on my DS918 server on my Network. I can see it, it's showing up in my options to view. But once I click on it nothing pulls up. Again I have to navigate manually through my finder window.    I had none of these issues on older versions of the program. However my tablet didn't work on older versions so I had to upgrade. It's very frustrating to say the least!

I recently updated Bridge to the latest version, but I just can't work with the interface. I restored my 2018 version from a back up, and now I can't acces RAW because I keep getting this error: "Bridge activation status cannot be determined"   How can I authenticate my software and sync it with CC so I can use the full features?   Thanks!!

After updating to Adobe Bridge 2020, none of my pictures are rendered correctly on screen. It seems like every picture is rendered in a very low resolution, resulting in no details in the shadow parts of an image. In Adobe 2019 everything is rendering perfectly. With updating to the last version of Bridge, I also checked the option "keep preferences from old version". The recent Bridge "bug fix" is also installed, but the problem still persist.  My computer is updated, so are all the graphic drivers etc. The problem is very frustrating, leaving hte latest Bridge version useless for me. Any help is highly appreciated.  I have enclosed a example picture, and a screenshot of my Windows system prefs from a Dell 9560:
