Hi all,I have a regular licensed Adobe CS6 full version for Windows with all the apps.I process a lot of photos by Bridge, Camera RAW and Photoshop, the main work that I do is automated and batch processed. I have folders with up to 500 RAW photos, I do massive edit of groups of RAW files to match colors and lights.Since a couple of weeks Bridge became sort of unstable, almost every time I do something, click on a folder, select a file, select two files togheter, click on the right mouse button, Bridge freezes for 20-30 seconds and I am totally blocked and unable to do my regular work.I tryed all the possible solutions: upgraded system drivers, upgraded Windows, resetted Bridge preferences, cleared and erased cache, any possible solution.I also downloaded the free version of Bridge 2020 and it is working fine, but it does not integrate with CS6 version of Camera RAW and Photoshop so it is useless for me.I am really frustrated I am not able to work and follow the usual deadlines...Thank

I just processed an image and when I went to open it in Photoshop CC, the adjustments did not transfer with it. I went back to Bridge and re-processed the image and clicked on "Done" and it did not save the adjustments but instead gave me an error message, "Unable to save to the raw converter settings.  There was a write permission error.  OK so here is the kicker.  I live in Missouri and was walking a friend through processing this image.  We both had it open on our monitors and were using Facetime so he could follow along with me.  His system is MAC and mine is PC.  He lives in Washington and he had the exact same problem.  This is a CC software glitch for sure.  Anyone know what the problem is.

Is there any way to sort As List view, with Date Created DESCENDING, with the folders on top? So that the newest folder will be on top, and the newsest files under all folders?

I'm running OS 10.12.6 Sierra on my iMac with Adobe CS6 and Bridge 5.0.24.I just bought a new Nikon D7500 and can't open the NEF files in Bridge.I'm planning to buy a new iMac sometime in 2020 and don't want to subscribe to CC2019 and have to move it to the new computer.How do I get a compatible plug-in to use now?I downloaded Camera Raw 10.5 but that didn't work.Help!Thanks, All!

Last week I spent literally four hours with support trying to fix this.  The support agent took control of my laptop and FINALLY figured out the problem.  In Bridge I cannot see all of the controls because the fonts etc. are HUGE and thus do not display anything.  I became super aggravated when I could not follow the tutorial for how to create a contact sheet.  I thought "This in no way resembles the tutorial I am seeing." So she fixed it after crashing around my computer like a bull in a china shop.  Unfortunately I do not remember HOW or WHAT she did.  Why a I asking?  Because no less than four days later after we FIXED this, your software upgrade totally trashed it again. I AM WONDERING IF I CAN JUST DELETE THE NEW VERSION OF BRIDGE AND GET ON WITH MY LIFE OR I NEED TO DO THIS AGAIN.  I NEED SUPER DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS....NOT SOMETHING LIKE  "Just go to powershell and turn regeneraon on" You need to assume no prior knowledge of

Usually do all my metadata entries in Bridge 2017, due to various reasons. This has been working fine until the 2020 update. Now I can no longer add metadata in Bridge 2017. It gives me metadata error: There was an error writing metadata to name.jpgThis happens only with jpg's. My CR2 in the same directory are not affected.Have tried the same on other updated PC's and notebooks, all with the same error  

Why does the Bridge workspace keep resetting itself everytime I minimise it? Every time I maximise Bridge I have to reset the workspace and it's getting a F*****G pain in the arse!

Hi guys, I work with Adobe CC 2019 and I also have Desktop pc with I7 - 6900 - 3.2 Ghz, 32 Gb Ram, Nvidia Geforce Gtx 1080 8Gb DDR5 and two samsung SSD 850 Pro 512 GB. Also have a 4k monitor.The problem I am having for same time on bridge is that for having the preview with quality the thumbs needed to be rendered at monitor resolution and this is very slow.I have bought a Samsung SSD M.2 970 Pro Nvme and the question is:1. Should be as OS drive2. Should be my work drive where all me photos are. I work with 8k .nef (nikon raw) from Nikon 850 and I do Architecture Photography. My folders have 200 to 1000 .nef files. My workflow sometimes it's really slow to the fact that I have an amazing hardware.3. For both OS and Work drive.Any help here?ThanksRicardo

I remember this issue from a few years ago and there are some good old posts about exif data on why this happens to PNG files, but unless I'm mistaken it was resolved for a while. Now, in the 2020 update, PNG images that show correctly as 300 ppi (or any value) in Photoshop and other apps show as 72 ppi in Bridge.

For some random reason out of the blue none of my batch actions are working in Bridge.  I tried to do a new one with very simple auto contrast and sharpen.  And I am getting a flag that says The command " Unsharpen Mask" is not currently available. I batch process from Bridge all the time and have never had an issue.  I am not sure why it is doing it now.

I have got a new hard drive on my computer, i have copied images across to Pictures but Bridge cannot find them, it just show Lightroom catalogues that I have set up, could it be it is only finding things that are on the Cloud?? 

H265 support has been an issue with bridge for a long time now, it seems to come and go. I film on a Fuji XT3 which creates H265 files in a MOV wrapper and on Windows 10:The thumbnails will play audio onlyAnd the metadata will not save  For a month or so, bridge would do both and you can see the metadata saved from that time, but it has stopped again as of the CC 2020 update. 

I have updated macOS to Catalina v.10.15.1 and Agobe Bridge to v.10.0. I have two versions of Bridge: v10.0 and v9.1. The new version of Bridge (v.10.0) displays different colors than the version v9.1. The difference is significant. Bridge v9.1 displays colors correctly - the colors are the same as in all other applications. In Bridge v10.1 colurs are different.   Half an hour later....   I found - option "Preserve Embedded Color Profile" - I have checked this option and the colors have returned!   {Thread renamed by moderator}  

I am using Bridge version 9.1.0.338, on my Macbook Pro - Catalina 10.15.  Since last week, when I delete a JPEG photo from a folder, it is taking around 30seconds to complete the task (spinning ball!), whereas it previously it was instant.  Any ideas about what I can do to resolve this issue please? It's seriously slowing down my work flow.  TIA. 

Hello,I am still running Bridge CS5.1 and my Mac keeps telling me that it is not going to be compatible with the new 64 bit operating system in the future.Is there a patch, work around or something to fix this?It still works fine for me and I really have no need to update.Thanks.

Hi folks, I have updated Photoshop/Bridge/ACR in the last day or so, however, issues . . . Previously I would select multiple images  (Canon .cr2) in Bridge and either double click or right click "Open" and all images would open in ACR, visible in the vertical strip on the left side.After recent updates following the same procedure now results in individual instances of ACR opening for each image, making it unmanageable for comparisons and groups edits.Is there a preference in Bridge that I've missed? ThanksAndrew

External hard drive and SD cards are now much more complicated and slow in Bridge 2020. They alway used to appear automatically in the "Folders". Now it seems you have to import via the "Get Photo from Camera" Icon before they appear. It takes ages. I would perfer to go back to old Bridge. Is there anyway I can do this. Unfortunately I uninstalled old one. Or is there another way to get them into the folders automatically that I have missed.

Installed Bridge 2020.  I can no longer right click on a folder to “browse contents in Bridge” as I was able to in previous versions.  Right clicking on a folder simply shows “Bridge”.  Clicking on that opens an error message that partially states “This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action…” Gee – I thought Bridge WAS the associated app for browsing a folder of images?  At least it was in the last version.Please advise how I can fix this so I can continue to browse folders of images by right clicking on them and opening with Bridge.  It is getting to the point where I am as leery of updating my Adobe apps as I am of installing any Windows 10 updates.

Hi Anybody know why it takes so long to open a Raw file through Camera Raw in Bridge about 30secs for a Canon MK3 ?. Same file opens in LR in half the time and I need a solution for Bridge as LR does not suit my workflow pleaseUsing a 2013 MacPRO retina with a SSD on High Sierra it was running a lot faster on previous version of CC until I updated it

After updating today bridge tries to open all types of adobe-files with After Effects. The links to the corresponding programs are set correctly in Bridge. What can I do about this annoying bug?

But now exporting took away what little control we had. No longer can I change the color space to sRGB when making jpegs, I can no longer run scrips made in PS, I can no longer make tif resizes and jpegs at once..... Bridge needs way more options on exporting. Yes, it needed a lot of work. Eliminating them it wasn't the right option.

Hi! Since the new Bridge (2020, version 10.0.0.124) is not usable for me at the moment ( see this post), I am contemplating to install the previous version (9.1 ) in addition to the new version. Unfortunately, I selected to uninstall version 9.1 while installing version 10.0). I now have only the new version (2020, v10.0) installed. Do you expect any problems by installing the old version after already having installed the new version? May I expect any conflicts etc.?

In the latest version of Bridge, when you delete a file by either highlighting it and hitting Delete, or right clicking and selecting Move to Trash, it deletes the file, but then does not select and highlight the next image in line. So, you have to actually move the cursor and select the next image. It's a big annoyance and a time waster. Also, you still haven't addressed:1. In Batch Rename, if you copy and paste in a long file name, you can use arrow keys to scroll into the part of the name that's not initially in the dialog box, but the text no longer moves to show you where you've moved the cursor to.2. In Output, you STILL can't paste in the file name when selecting Export to PDF. This is literally something you can do in every other application developed in the last couple of decades. I've previously reported both of the above by email to one of the developers. Hello,I have a macbook pro 2018.Bridge 2020 is slower in anyway.Interface was bigger and simple before.I compare both interface.We could see 12 thumbails bigger at the same time now it's 9...More options in the last user interface. Now it switch to gray to black no radiant...Loading .PSD slower...And in anyway 2018 CC was lighter and soooooo faster!2020 Uninstalled! 🤷‍♂Gogogo 2018!Best,

I am using Bridge 9.1.0.338.  I have never had an issue with Bridge until about a week ago I installed macOS Catalina Version 10.15 and now when trying to use slideshow option my screen is very messy and the picture is extremely pixelated with alot of red on the sides.     Is there a problem with the mac update or do I need to uninstall and reload Bridge?  Or hopefully there is an update?
