Well, Adobe did it again.  With the recent update to Bridge CC 2019, all imagepreviews are incredibly soft!2018 had the issue but adjusting settings would bring back preview qualitybut seemed to have been fixed.  Now, 2019 comes out and back to really,really soft previews and this time no manner of playing with settings willgive any kind of clarity to the preview.  It also does not matter if the imageneeded to be scaled to fit or the image fit in the window mapped 1:1 with the display pixels.This needs to be fixed!Fortunately, I did a system snapshot before I installed the update so I couldquickly revert back to Bridge CC 2018 which WORKS PROPERLY.

I'm in the process of developing a media and marketing department for my company. I would love to utilize Adobe products such as photoshop and lightroom for photo editing. I'm looking at bridge as a management software that ideally could be downloaded onto multiple PC's in my organization to search and view photos that I've uploaded. I've heard this can be done and is a great option. My problem is that I need to make sure that other PC's can be logged into the same account simultaniously to search and view through my uploads. Also, I understand that Adobe Bridge is free, but I've also been told that I would have to pay extra per license when I subscribe to the Creative Cloud.  In summary: 1) Will this work?2) Is it going to cost extra to use this service on top of my Creative Cloud subscription?  I've heard many different answers from Customer Support, please help!  Thank you for your time! Joe

We have tried to stadardize RGB color conversions within the Adobe products by using Bridge to manage the color settings.The issue is that we get different results when converting in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign even though the color settings are being managed by Bridge. Has anyone else experienced this? 

I can't figure out why my adobe bridge 2019 function help labels will not go away. once they open they stay on the screen until I quit. Everything is updated - not sure what else to do.

Hi,I recently updated Bridge on my Windows PC, and now when I double click an image instead of it automatically opening in  Camera Raw, Windows Photos App opens?  How do I stop that? Thanks,Ruth

Hey all, since updating to Catalina (10.1.5.1) on my macBookPro,  I can't use Adobe BRIDGE anymore without switching to "software rendering" which slows down the workflow extremely. I get ugly pixelated previews when I switch to hardware rendering since I updated my OS. Any advice? The support could'nt help at all. ( 3 sessions with new installations etc) 

Hi All, I am new to Bridge CC, trying to get away from Apple's Photos. Normally, I keep the photo in the SD card without deleting it automatically.  But when I download a second time, Bridge CC does not recognize that the photo has already been download and is downloading for the second time. Is there anyway to prevent this duplication?Many thanks,Apollo

My Macbook updated to a newer version last night. I've just opened up Adobe Bridge and there are no items to display when I select my folder to access my files. How can I make adobe Bridge display my files? 

I've used bridge many times to cull my photos before importing into lightroom. I select all the photos I choose to cull, and then click view>review mode. I deselect the photos I choose not to edit, and delete them, then import them into lightroom.  This time I am getting a red and purple screen that prohibits me from viewing the photos. I've tried searching this forum and I've uninstalled and reinstalled completely to no avail. This problem shows no where else on my computer, only on bridge's review mode. Help please! 

Hi, is it posiblle to increase the number of recent Illustrator files in Bridge (Windows)  to be more than 30? For Indesign and Photoshop files there are more than 30 recent files, but for Illustrator I'm stuck at 30.BR,Primoz

I do not need 100% previews, as I am able to tell if my shots are in focus or not from the monitor sized previews.The generation of these files is extermely wasteful of my time and resources. I have had my SSD hard disk replaced with 2TB one and have upgraded my graphics card in an attempt to speed up my machine because of this, but the generation of these files in the cache chews my processor up every time (up to 98%). I often have shoots of 300 images or more, and I have to upload the images, view them in Bridge and walk away for an hour whilst 100% previews does its thing.I've downloaded the free trial of ACDSee which is a hell of a lot faster and am contemplating buying it now, but I would rather Bridge just worked as it used to, as I am comfortable with the functionality of it otherwise.Please send feedback up the chain for the next update.Many Thanks.

Just got a new Imac and downloade CCloud with Photoshop,Bridge, and Lightroom.  Lightroom problems but that fora later time.  Bridge will not open because of: A write permission error has occurred. (I am listed as administrator on long in.Thankls in advance for any thoughts!

This has suddenly and I have tried all within my knowledge to fix.

I am also having trouble with "Bridge" Can't get the "View Slideshow" option to work. Images look odd, almost corrupted.  This is since updating to Catalina. Plus the file extension problem.. Any idea when we can expect an update to sort these problems out? I depend on this.

I looked everywhere I could think of to find a way to use Bridge without any other external programs to watermark image files and had no luck. I knew it was possible. So I decided to create one myself. I do not claim to be an expert at coding JavaScript. I'm adequate enough to code what I need but it usually isn't pretty so I'm sure there's a better way to code this. As of now, it's a simple dialog interface with a few selections and settings that can be saved so you don't have to go through the process every time. It comes with 2 enabled blend modes (Normal and SoftLight) along with an opacity setting to blend the watermark to your image. Bridge does have some limitations with image manipulation so as of now you need to use a png file (alpha channel acceptable for transparent background) for the watermark file and jpg files for your image files. The output will also be in jpg format. I did include functions for 2 other blend modes (Darken and LinearLight) but those are not e

When I rename my files using batch rename, I am unable to open those files in the camera raw editor. Has this happened to anyone and how can I fix it? Thanks

I have notice my bridge stop auto opening my PDF. The settings are checked but notice that when I rename the PDF, bridge doesnt include file extension after untitled. I tried everything to reset presets. 

Imagine I have a big folder of 15,000 pictures.In Bridge, I'll go into that folder and it'll start generating thumbnails. It'll also start building the filter list. I'll look at the "Model" filter and initially see 15,000 entries in "No Model".As it starts to generate thumbnails and think harder, the "No Model" number will go down, and something like "iPhone 8" will increase to 3500 and then stop. The fans on my laptop will whir down and Bridge just sits there not thinking.I'll check the iPhone 8 filter, see 3500 pictures, and immediately know that I should have more than 3500 iPhone 8 photos. So I go back to the No Model filter, and Bridge starts thinking harder again and takes away another 1000 photos and adds them to iPhone 8.What's aggravating and driving me crazy is that it'll just stop again this point. It won't keep looking at all those leftover 12,000+ "No Model" photos and keep putting them into the proper Model categories.It's only when I scrub up and down in the huge list of

After doing an in-place re-install of Windows 10, Bridge CC no longer has permission to move folders in my auxiliary drive. I shoot product photos tethered with Canon Utility and review the captures in Bridge. Canon Utility has a linked software setting which calls an app after each capture. On the Mac, this feature switches focus to Bridge but on Windows 10, Canon Utility won't switch to Bridge automatically. I don't know if this is an Adobe or Canon bug.Bridge unfortunately doesn't have a watched folder (sometimes called a hot folder) feature, so there is no built-in way to fix the problem.I decided to write a watched folder script that can run arbitrary functions. I just updated to Bridge 9.1.03 using a Mac 10.14.2 (mohave). I like to edit in Bridge. Now, in filmstrip mode, if I delete a file the screen goes blank and goes back to the image at the start of the folder. I want the gallery to just go onto the next image after I have deleted the previous one. Bridge is what I have always used for culling and this makes it impossible. ie.. delete file #10 I want Bridge to go onto file #11, not back to file #1... also not have the screen go totally blank and have to click on the image again.   Help,   Brett 

I want to customize a set of metadata fields in Adobe Bridge to tag assets used for instructional designers. I noticed that you have a DICOM set created for the medical community. Is there any way to build one just like that with our own perimeters? I know that I can do custom tags in Lightroom. Carmel
