Is there a way to do the above, i.e. enter a title for each photo in a batch, then automatically add the title to the start of the caption field?I append standard metadata to my images, then manually do the title. The caption is what is read by some applications / social media, so I'd like to add in each title to set of images.Ta,Paul

Hi,can't seem to find the answer to this... In the metadata panel it would be great if we can reorder the data. In preferences we can hide/show various fields. There's even templates and create custom panels - but thats all seems rather excessive, for the simple task of dragging more pertinent fields to the top. Even with groups collapsed there are many groups that are just irrelevent to my case...

I recently purchased a new macbook and had the apple store transfer everything from my old one to the new one.  Now that has been done, I am unable to edit in bridge.  This is what occurs when attempted.Camera Raw editing is not enabled.Camera Raw editing required that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature.What must I do to be able to use Bridge again?Thank you for any help!Darla

Why can't I open ORF files in Adobe Photoshop CS6 with the Camera Raw 9 installed?  computer is Mac OS 10.11.6

The problem started when I  was using CS6 and still happening with CC2017.

shooting with 5d mIV and the auto rotate works like expected in bridge 2017 -  version 7.0.0.93 on the el capitan OS...  On the new macbook pro with sierra running same camera, same bridge version they only difference being the OS the auto rotate doesn't work????Any suggestions?

Are there any known issues with the latest version of Bridge and Fuji files? My rated/starred images are not showing up in bridge after downloading my images. I can see my images rated when the card is in my camera though. I'm using a Fuji X-T10, running windows 10 with the latest version of Bridge.

Hi, I have just updated to a new graphics card MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti on my Win 10 64bit PC. But now Bridge just doesn't respond for ages every time I try to do something. I have uninstalled Bridge CC and then re-installed it but it hasn't solved the issue.Can someone help please driving me crazy!

Hi, I do not know guys you are facing the same problem or not but when ever I 'add to favorite' , it works for few folder only and then suddenly when I exit and open the remaining 'add to favorite' does not appear, I again have to make those folder as 'favorite' but when I exit again, those folder got rid.I am tired to make PURGE ALL CACHE, etc etc but I did not find any proper answer.I made 'cache size' in maximum value though but not working.Please help me.Qazi

Question about using keywords. I have a HUGE database of photos that I'm tagging, all in various nests and folders and sub-folders. I see a few repeated keywords on the list. Why is this? Is there a way to just export the list of repeated words? the ones not in italics?Why does it repeat words like "action" (not italicized, a repeated word) in the top keyword list as well as the bottom? Have I messed up and created lots of repeated tags? Just want to clean it up and make an exported list with only the words used most often. Some of my photos already had strange tags for some reason I will probably end up just deleting those.Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

I created a custom File Info panel in Photoshop. I am wanting the same metadata to show up in bridge. But as I was following the tutorials it seems the correct folder to place the xml files is missing. I was using this forum post:How to install correctly XMP Metadata UI sdk CC 2014 "sample extension" in CC application and Bridge to get data sync ? I have my extension in Adobe/XMP/Metadata Extension. My extension folder includes a manifest.xml, a view folder with my view.xml, and a schema folder with my schema.xmlEverything shows and works correctly in Photoshop, but nothing appears in Bridge. The articles mentions putting a file in Custom/File/Info/Panels/4.0 but no such folder exists in my Bridge installation. I'm guessing because of the recent update. I am using Adobe Bridge CC 2017.Here is what my bridge folder looks like. Please help! How do I get my metadata to show and sync in Bridge?Thank you!

I'm using Bridge CC, and it's operating like cold molasses. Not only am I having issues with moving from folder to folder, once I am in a folder, it takes forever for the program to preview the file I clicked on.My files are saved and edited locally, and I'm having the program browse local folders. I need to be connected to the network, but I'm not saving anything to it. Is there a way I can command Bridge as to what folders it should be looking at, to see if limiting its scope helps it run faster?Computer Specs:  - Lenovo ThinkPad  - 8MB RAM  - Intel Core i5 vPro  - Windows 7

Is there a way to have a selected folder display subfolders in a nested format or "tree" like in Finder? It's not ideal to have the "Show items in subfolders" display in the parent folder selected when working with thousands of files.

After using Bridge, I usually minimize and reopen next time I need it. Lately when I come back I find it totally locked up and responding with a tone when I click on anything such as file list or exit button. Only thing I can do is control-alt-delete and end task in task manager. I then reload the Bridge file from CC. That works fine until I minimize and start the process again. I can't figure out what I have turned on or off that would make this happen.

I started using Adobe Bridge CC 2017 hoping that it would be an alternative Digital Asset Management repository, rather than using Mac's Photo application. I have used it for about a week now with no issues until I imported 900 new images from a couple of days worth of shooting, both video and stills (although predominantly stills) and now Bridge is stuck. It displays a message "building criteria" with a spinning circle in the bottom left hand corner. I have been waiting for almost an entire day for it to finish and the application is not responsive. I can't access the menu or switch folders. I have to force quite that application to close it. I have tried compacting the Cache, increasing the cache size and even moving the location of the cache to a new folder. But no luck.The first folder that I created when I commenced using the application seems to be fine. It contains 842 items and it loads fine on start up of Bridge. But then as soon as I select another folder, it hangs on "buildi

Hello there,I work in a Museum and it's important for us to insert keywords in our image files to better find and organize our very large and growing digital archive.In some jpeg files, when we try to insert keywords in Bridge, we get a message saying "a error occured saving metadata".I managed to work around it by opening in Photoshop and just saving as itself. These images, when opened in Photoshop, give a message saying "this file contains data that couldn't be read and was ignored". After overwriting the file in Photoshop it's all good.But when you have 5683(so far) images to enter keywords one by one, because they have diferent keywords, and all of a sudden some hundred files can't be edited and have to be opened and resaved. it's annoying to say the least.We have the latest version of Bridge, but in two computers we still have one cs3 and one cs4 version and in those versions the problem doesn't exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!In an attempt to streamline workflow, I am trying to batch rename multiple PDF's somehow that would re-name the file based on it's page number.  I need to find a way to run an action or script that specifically re-names pages in either a sort of "Find and replace" manner, or, page #="specific". Ok.. this may be a little confusing, but after several years I'm finally asking for an 'enhancement'.Today, I download a thousand or so pictures from some sporting event.   I review each picture and set a keyword for all those I wish to select for publication. Then I select all the pictures with that keyword and want to 'copy to' another folder.  Preferably into a sub-folder within my current folder.After I choose the 'copy to' function, and then 'choose folder', I have to drill down, from the root user directory, into the working folder I'm using.It would be EXTREMELY helpful if I could set the 'Copy to' and 'Move To' directories to be 'current folder' as a starting point.  That would save several steps and delays to get to where I want to be.For example..   I shot a basketball game yesterday.  I download 1000 pictures to my folder.  The path to that folder is c:\users\me\pictures\2017\ehs\basketball\boys\20170108I select 120 of the best shots a

Hello,I have been using Lightroom for quite a while and all my pictures are cataloged within Lightroom. Now I'm keen on using Bridge too, especially because I'm learning Photoshop and I heard it's a good app to organize the files and then from that app, open them in Photoshop. My only concern now is how to organize my photos in Bridge? I saw that people usually have a very detailed and nice file structure, consisting of different folders with proper names (type of photo, country name, etc.) so that they can find their pictures very easily. Does it mean I have to copy/paste my pictures in another file structure, though it's already existing in the LR catalog ? If yes, I would have a problem with the storage...My LR catalog only has date folders (2016, then 2016mmdd for each different day), so it's not that detailed compared to what most people use as a folder structure in Bridge.If anyone uses both together, kindly let me know how you guys organize your pictures so that you can see them
