Ho appena installato la nuova versione di bridge e mi appaiono le icone dei file in gran parte in bianco e nero, se clicco per cambiare la dimensione ritornano a colori ma, appena rilascio ritornano in bianco e nero con una disposizione casuale

What happened! This is now a useless program. Even after changing all my settings to their usual state (monitor size previews, cache in the correct place, what have you) even a modest, for me and my work, folder (2000 raw files, 150gb) took nearly 4 hours to "generate and export cache" (last version that would have been about 1/2 hour) and on reopening the same folder, took an additional 15 minutes to become useful. Furthermore, there is no bottom line indication of WTF is going on, nor the number of files involved in a given procedure? Bridge and ACR are the fundamental tools of my business, this is not acceptable.For the record:Windows 10Xeon E3-150532GB Ram1 TB NVMe SSD

Often when I'm using Bridge I suddenly can't click on anything. No matter what I click on nothing happens, like it's frozen or the application has lost focus. But if I switch to another program and switch back, Bridge works normally again. I can't see any pattern that might be causing it to stop working, and it's happened with the last few versions of InDesign.

Updated to Bridge v9.0.0.204 X64. In Bridge Filmstrip the Content section is now a horizontal strip on the bottom of the monitor screen. Before this update I had the Content section running down the right hand side of the monitor screen in a vertical position. This allowed the Preview or selected image to appear very large in the middle of the monitor screen. Adobe phone support person claims this arrangement option has been removed by whomever came up with this new version. In Bridge v9.0, in the Filmstrip selection, how do I change the position of the Content from horizontal and bottom of screen to vertical and right side of screen?

v2019. Still no update on hiding those annoying stars below the thumbnails? I don't nor have ever used the star rating system (assuming that's what they are for) and they are annoying to see under every thumbnail.

I currently have Photoshop and Bridge CS6 on my computer. I need to update Bridge. I see the CC Bridge is now free but my question is will the CC version of Bridge work with my CS6 Photoshop? Thank you.

Following the latest upgrade, I have been getting colour bars appearing on several files in preview. Never had anything like this before, does anyone know how to fix it?

I  have just downloaded the latest Bridge 2018, but when I start it up and pull up a photo, the system says Bridge 2017 is no longer working.  I have used Adobe to delete the old 2017 version and download the latest 2018, but it still goes back to the 2017 version and then says  it's no longer working.  Ideas?  Adobe is not much help!!!!

Hi EveryoneI would be so grateful for any help.I purchased CS5 some time ago and have never had any problems importing photos from an I phone 6s into bridge. Now the bridge photo downloader will not recognise the I phone. The I phone recognises the computer, it asks whether is a trusted device etc.. I am running CS5 version 4.05.11 and have downloaded creative cloud 64 and tried that bridge, still no joy. I am importing into a PC by the way. I have never had a problem in the past. The version of creative cloud used is 8.01.282. Both are the latest updates.Any help would be most appreciated.RegardsRichard

I just updated to the 2019 version. I checked to have it import preferences from the older version which it did, however, it changed the order of my workspaces for some reason. In trying to put them back in the correct order I realized that there is now a limit of 6 workspace buttons viewable at a time. Not only does this mean that I can't access my remaining workspace buttons to put them in the correct order but I have a lot of wasted space. I'd really like to regain the flexibility of being able to slide them over to show how many buttons I want to show. I tried looking this up on the Adobe site but it still references the older version. I use keyboard shortcuts a lot, so having my workspace buttons in specific place matters. Anytime I take a large group of files or a folder and paste to a different location, I am no longer able to navigate through bridge until the transfer is complete.Also have the bug where I can no longer "cut" and paste, only copy and paste.

I am working with Bridge CC 8.0.0.262 on an iMac with ~90,000 photos stored on a Windows Server. Yes, I know, working from a server is a problem to begin with. However i finally figured out that by using smart collections I can get Bridge to index the files so I can search and use keywords like I need. However, whenever I close Bridge and reopen, it has to completely reindex all 90,000 files. This seems very unnecessary? Is there a way to have it use the previous index? As you can imagine, indexing 90,000 files on a server is not a quick task.In my cache settings i have the size set to the maximum, compacting cache is turned off, as is the purge cache setting.Edit: Fixed my grammar.

Ich musste meinen Mac neu aufsetzen , meine Daten hatte ich gesichert, aber nicht die Systemdateien, so dass die Stichwörter-Datenbank nicht mehr da ist. I keep getting "No Items to Display". - I've forced bridge to delete preferences on launch.- I've deleted preferences, emptied trash, restarted. - I've uninstalled & double-checked for any leftover files, emptied trash, restarted and re-installed. Bridge was always lacking in preview quality. Thumbnails and Previews were rough resamples, and full screen previews not necessarily representative, in terms of sharpness of original.The last Bridge update seems to have tackled that to a large degree. There has clearly been a lot of work under the bonnet to improve the thumbnail/preview cache generation. I can't say I've noticed a big difference in full screen previews, but I don't want to come across as ungrateful!Anyway. After the initial joy of finally working with sharper previews, I started to notice new problems...Occasionally, thumbnails will stick on the embedded previews or generic icons. I'd have to purge the selection's cache to get it to work.Occasonally, a whole folder will refuse to generate proper thumbnails. I'd have to select the whole folder for purge, or just close and reopen Bridge.Occasionally, Bridge (Windows) would crash out completely, and fail to restart, unless I opened Bridge with a different folder.I've alre

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can help with some general information on the Bridge cache working with Google Drive and Stream. I'm using Drive to hold video clips and accessing them from a couple of different computers ( and users). The functionality is just fine. I have it set up so everything is syncing properly. My only concern is the time it takes to generate thumbnails in Bridge. Would it be better to store my cache locally or on Drive? Sometimes, thumbnails won't generate at all. If the cache is stored locally (as it is by default), would purging the cache affect the files for other users/computers that access them on Drive? Thank you.

Hello.I have a problem with Bridge and keywords.I've changed the structure of my collection of key words and while I initially deleted all the words contained in the files, now when I assign a word that already existed previously shown me the new structure, and the old structure in italics.I guess that Bridge has a cache file stored somewhere but do not find it.I do not mean to Adobe Bridge file keywords.xml located in AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CC 2018. This contains the current structure.Some idea of where you can walk that cache file? Because don't think Bridge say that clears the key words of the files but then do so not? It's another possibility.

Does anyone have any comment on the practical difference between choosing "Prefer Thumbnail Generation Over Preview Generation" being either ON or OFF in Bridge? Which one is using the existing embedded thumbnail image within the file?Mike in Washington DC
