Hi All,Rather than clicking show links on an Indesign File can I check the meta data of an individual image file via bridge to see if its linking?Sorry not sure whether this would be the best place to post this but here goes.Thanks in advance, any replies will be agreat help!Chris

Adobe Bridge CC does not show Duotone Thumbnail Images correctly with an 5K IMac and OS 10.12.6, they show as Black and White.

Hi guys,I'm having a serious problem with moving folder in Bridge on MAC. I'm a photographer and I tried to copy a folder from my USB into my computer, but couldn't. It said some files could not be copied. So I opened Adobe bridge and MOVED the folder. There is no error noticed. But when it done I could not find the folder anywhere. I tried to find in TRASH and SHOW HIDDEN FILES but it's no where to be found The folder contains both photography RAW and XMP files. Can anyone help with the situation? Thank u so much.

Every time I go to open Bridge in CS6 I get a dialogue box saying "Could not complete the browse in bridge command because photoshop was unable to find the javascript plug-in" Does anyone have any idea what I should do please?

I have several 1 to 2 terabyte external hard drives.  I want to consolidate them all on a large 8 to 10 terabyte drive.  How  Can I do so that my bridge collections will still be intact and have all my files in them ?  Thank You

I must be dumb--and I am certainly not at all familiar with Javascript and Extendscript--but I cannot get TabbedPalette to work....I have a script which used to work in past versions of Bridge and, among other things, it opened an HTML page in a TabbedPalette. I may be using collections inappropriately. I am creating a large large number of collections to categorize my photos. There are more collections than dispay space in the collections panenormally a programmer uses scrolll bars to navigate in such a large list.But I do not see anyany suggestions?

Please forgive the simple question, but if I have a perfectly good filing system, why would I start using Bridge?What does Bridge do, that I can't already do with a good filing system in Windows?I ask this because I don't want to add another layer of complexity over a perfectly good filing system if it's not going to do some really cool and useful stuff.Adding Bridge will cause more problems because adding more programs always means more likelihood of problems to solve.If the benefits of adding Bridge to the file management system doesn't outweigh the problems that it will inevitably create, then I don't want to do it.And yes, I know it "depends" on what I want to do with my file system.  I'm asking what it does in general, not what will it do specifically for me, so please don't answer by saying "it depends on what I am doing with the files."  I know that much already.  What does it do for everyone, and why would it be worth the trouble of the inevitable problems that w

Cuando intento copiar varios archivos de un disco externo a otro,inclusive al ordenador (mac),me sale lo siguiente:".BridgeCachet" no puede copiarse porque el nombre coincide con el de otro ítem del volumen de destino,que no distingue entre mayúsculas y minúsculas en los nombres del archivo .¿Como puedo saber cuales son esos archivos y como puedo hacer esa copia de archivos al disco sin que me paralice dicha copia y no me permita copiarlos?

Hi there,I have a new iMac with Adobe Bridge 2017 installed. I was previously using an older MacBook Pro. The operating system is High Sierra. I spent the last several days re-installing all my software on my new iMac, and I noticed the keyboard arrow keys do not work in contents pane of Bridge 2017. Is there a bug fix for this or some other work-around?  Bridge 2017 worked great on my old laptop, so I wondering what the difference is on the iMac?Thanks!

In some way an image open in Bridge was marked with a red cross and that it will be moved to the trash. How to unmark the image and how was it marked?

I am currently running Bridge 2018 CC version 8.0.1.282 x64 on a Windows 10 Pro machine - version 10.0.1.6299 build 16299; 24 GB memory and 8 processors; plenty of disk space.After starting Bridge, I am unable to access the drives.  When I click on a drive to open, it sometimes duplicates the drive in the display but always just sits there and spins the accessing wheel in the lower left corner.  I am able to access the drives from Explorer without any issues.  I have tried starting Bridge as Administrator and have also deleted all the cache.  Nothing seems to work.  I have also rebooted my system several times. Is anyone aware of any new issues on Windows with this version or a work around that I could use?ThanksBob

Hi,by default if I select multiple keywords, the result is a unification of the results of the separate keywords.I would like to change the default behavior to intersect the results of the separate keywords, so I can narrow down my search.Smart collections are not a solution, since we need to change the filter rules constantly and on the fly.At the moment we have a very strict tag format which allows us to kinda model that (like all possible combinations of tags as single tags)+ a spreadsheet with even more metadata. This is really cumbersome and we would like to change that.Is there a way to do it?Furthermore, is it possible to change the default tags which bridge looks for in filtering from the IPTC keywords to some custom defined xmp keywords?I am thinking about creating a custom keyword structure because we have a pretty hierarchical structure and IPTC keywords are just not powerful enough to express that. (We can work around that, but it would still be nice to have better xmp supp

hello.. I just updated to bridge 2018, I want no margins in my pdf, but can only choose a minimum of 1 margin and 1 row.. even if their measurements are 0 cm, I get a very thin white margin on all 4 sides. I cannot choose no background color?? This didn't happen in previous editions, with the same document, filling precisely the space of any papersize? I cannot find the answer in your forum..

In CS6 Bridge  running on Mac OS 10.13.3 High Sierra, when I click File > Export to Hard Drive with one or several images selected, nothing happens.  It should bring up a menu where I can set the format, size, quality etc. of the export. How can I fix this?

I wanted to create a smart collection containing files in the date range 01/07/2013 to 16/07/2013. I could not find a way of using this date range as the criteria, so entered the dates 01/07/2013 to 14/07/2013 as a list of arguments, that's all it would accept. The collection was created.I now need to add the photos for the dates 15/07/2013 and 16/07/3013 but cannot find a way to do this, can anyone please help?TIA

I keep getting the attached msg quite oftenly in Bridge cs6. I do what the msg advises me -in order to fix the problem- but the issue persists. I don't know what to do about it!

I purchase Creative Suites 10 years ago.  My old iMAC has dies and I have a new iMAC.I had my old items brought over my my new computer.I need to uninstall the Creative Suites and reinstall it on my new iMAC.Is there a problem doing this?

In Adobe Bridge CC I open a folder on the network - I'm staring at a file name that says "foo.ai" or whatever and I either use the search box or Ctl-F and search for the file. It always returns "no items to display" when searching on the network in this one specific folder. I'm not even searching subfolders. In other folders it works just fine just not this one. I've tried clearing my cache and restarting the program.In the past this has worked but not now for some reason. Suggestions?

In other words, I can't drag any files into the Output Workspace if the filmstrip panel is not visibleNo.2 Batch Rename multiple documentsI select & highlight my documents in the Filmstrip Panel, then I open the Batch Rename Tool, the dialog box is larger than my monitor size. I can't resize the Batch Rename dialog box to enter any new data.Can anyone offer a Bridge CC 2018 Novice some advice?

I am an old man who likes to play with photography.  I have dementia and others so short memory span is awful.  I use Adobe Bridge to work my photos etc, and it had a nice ....form?  Architecture?.  I have apparently hit a toggle that changed it and now I can't figure out how to get it back.  I suspect it will be an easy 1-2-3 answer but How do I get that answer??I don't understand the issue of communities listed below.[Moved post to Bridge forum - Mod]
