Bridge

Does anyone know if the ability for multiple people to use a single collection stored on a network or cloud server is coming? I am not talking about a full-fledged DAM/MAM but just a place to store some images and design assets that others can view and search via keyword/tag. How about the ability to create shareable libraries in Bridge? It would seem Bridge and library creation would be a natural fit.

Hello,I am using Bridge CS6 and have added keywords to my pictures.After a new installation of my Comupters I imported the keywords.However, many images are no longer linked to the keywords.How can I restore the link without having to start over?Greetings, Julia !

Hi All - I have recently upgraded to Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.3) and now Bridge will not find my camera. It worked fine under Mountain Lion (my previous OS) but now nothing. I have tried updating Bridge under the help menu but it says;  Adobe Bridge CS5 4.0.5 Update  There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.  Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update  There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.  Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Photoshop CS5  There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.I'm using CS5 by the way.Can anyone help please as I am going slowly mad.Gareth

I have Photoshop CC 2018 with Windows 10. In Photoshop I have the F1 keyboard shortcut to open File --> Print. Recently  when I open a photo up and I hit the F1 shortcut my Printer Settings opens up with the photo and also the Bridge User Guide also opens up. Is there any way to stop Bridge User Guide from opening up every time I use The F1 keyboard short cut?      Thank you

BUG REPORTHOW TO REPRODUCE:Browse your folders using BRIDGE on Auto-Layout modeclick-and-drag to select more than one filewith files selected drag them on desktopRESULT:Only one file appears copied on desktop.NOTE:Dragging on Maill.app shows correct number of files/icons BUT only 1 has correct size, other files have ZERO Kilobyte size.

Adobe Bridge is unable and has been unable for some time to read a .mov file, rendering the tool largely useless for creators.

I could do as in Premiere and allow to select the preview quality to be able to see with better fluided images.

I just downloaded Adobe Bridge CC and when I click on the install problem all I get a blank screen.It brings up a blank white boxI am running Windows 7.Thanks for the help

For some reason I cannot see the previews.  This is a new issue that started when I purged the cache as I had received a message that the cache was nearing full and so I cleared it.  I recently uploaded files but cannot see them in preview mode.  If I want to see them I have to individually open in Camera Raw.  Please help.

I searched for a photo that I know the name of in Bridge search. I have found the image but what I would like to know is how do I find which folder that it is stored in? My folders are organized as such, they are under my hard drive letter C: then a pictures folder then most of them are within dated folders (eg.2017Aug13) When I found this photo it showed that it was in my pictures folder but does not show the dated folder. Im trying to find which dated folder its in. Thanks

HelloIm searching a way to "tick" all the childrens (sub-keywords) of a parent keyword as i "tick" the parent (kind of visualization on pic related)So i could create several sets of "parent keywords" containing some "children keywords" inside and by selecting particular parents i could have added all keywords from its children to the picture in few simple clicks.It would be very useful instead of clicking every each keyword from children every time.Actually im surprised that bridge doesnt have that functionality build-in. Following my recent upgrade from BridgeCC 2017 to Bridge 8.0.1.282 x64Zooming in to a 100% view of my RAW files is very slow when moving from the full screen preview even when the 100% preview had been created for that photo just a minute earlier - it now takes 6 seconds for an individual file.  Returning from thumbnail view and zooming back in to 100% takes 3 seconds for the zoom to take effect and trying to drag the 100% image around results can result in the image moving only a fraction of an inch before halting or progressing in a series of staggered jerks several seconds apart.I've tried purging the cache for the selected photo but it doesn't improve the situation. Similarly I've left Bridge in thumbnail view for 10 minutes before returning but navigation at 100% is still very slow even when Windows Task manager shows BridgeCC with low CPU usage of less than 0.5%, no unusual disk activity and no other indication that Bridge is currently undertaking any tasks. Hi all,I have the Photography pack of CC and after the latest update to cc2108 when I plug the SD card with my pictures on the pc an error message appears that says:PSADriverWindow: Photodownloader.exe - System ErrorThe program cannot initiate because MSVCR71.dll is missing, Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. (Spanish translation)When I close that windows automatically Adobe Bridge opens with the "download pictures from camera" windows (as normally does)Should I reinstall Adobe Bridge? Opening Bridge has slowed to an absolute crawl since the last Camera Raw update 10.2. Up until last weekend, Bridge used to take 15 seconds to full standby, in a folder with over 9,000 photos.For the same process, the opening takes 2 minutes now. I'm presented with a white screen for most of the time, with a "Bridge not responding" at times.This is not isolated, as the same happens on my working PC. Both are very fast PC's, with plenty of Ram and disk space, running on SSD's

Why won't my Adobe Bridge CS5 import my photos from my Nikon D80 anymore?  Also, could you please explain how to fix this without directing me to the adobe website "support" to search through the multiple different questions asked there for answers?  I'm looking for a direct answer.  Thank-you.

Hi. Latest version of Bridge is unusable because sound of fan racing is deafening. Photoshop is fine. Tried quitting CEPHtmengine in activity monitor for no effect. online advice to check permissions via Go-Go to Folder- ~/Library/Logs/Creative Cloud/Creative Cloud Libraries found nothing. Tried starting with command option R.how do I handle this?

I need to transfer my images from one drive to another.  How do I insure that collection designation stay intact

This is a two part question, 1) Why does Bridge quit when I have gone to 'File Info' and then clicked ok?                                             2)  I work in RAW, (Nef file) and before a recent update you could see the changes you have made in the thumnails.  Now this seems to have dissapeared, however when I re-open an image the changes have been saved.  Is there a solution so that I can again see the changes in the thumbnails?  I'm working on mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.3.  Other info, I work in CS5Thank you in advance.

It was my understanding that Bridge saved its cache files on your local HD in the location you choose in preferences.  But when looking over my server backups of networked drives I'm seeing invisible .BridgeCache and .BridgeCacheT files in every folder someone has accesses via Bridge. What gives?Note:  We're running High Sierra on workstations and networked drive are Linux/Redhat.

I finally updated windows 10 to fall creators update - after several rollings back to previous version.Usually I use windows desktop search in Bridge, but now it doesn't work. Strange thing is:If I use the search bar in upper right corner Bridge finds nothing, but if I use Find dialog box (Ctrl-F) all files are found without any problems. (Include non indexed files UNCHECKED - so it must use only indexed files). In this case Bridge is allowed to access windows index.  Is there anything to do, that I can use the upper Search bar?All preferences were removed, Bridge was reinstalled....Thanks,Primoz

I am an older, borderline luddite and I wonder what is the actual purpose of the Camera Raw Cache? At first glance they appear to just take up space, but that's probably not the case! Should I keep them or purge them often?Thanks.
