Hello,I have a question regarding an error that comes up in Bridge for one of our CS6 users. The error occurs whenever they try to create a PDF of images in Bridge. The error simply states "There is insufficient disk space to complete this operation". However, this hard drive has about 500GB of free space currently.I've been browsing forum threads related to this or similar issues for quite some time now in order to find possible fixes and we've had no luck with them so far. Here's what has been tried so far:Running all available CS6 updatesClearing the Bridge cacheClearing Photoshop cacheResetting Bridge to factory settingsUninstall/re-install CS6Verify/repair disk permissions on the hard drive (several times)Completely re-imaged the computer and set it up fresh (new user profile etc)I was wondering if someone might have any suggestions on a different fix to try which has worked for them?Any help would be much appreciated!Thanks

hi I have done a long term time lapse, over a year and now would like to only use the pics taken at midday.The sun is in the right place and I am trying to get rid of flicker, so using the midday pics gives me a nice start for the edit.How can I filter out all the other pics (over2000) using Bridge and just end up with the midday ones ?Any ideas ?thanks Joe

Hello experts,I have this situation and so far I haven't found an efficient way to solve this - and I don't really know where else to search for answers.I work for a studio where we have this setup: <10 computers running CC suite (photographers, videographers, designers). We are all on a same local network and we have a NAS server attached (some 4 HDD solution from WD). On this central server there is a photo database (around 2TB of RAWs). Everybody has the network drive mounted and can access these photos normally. The problem is that we want to be able to search in all of these photos (based on metadata + keywords) - on any of the workstations - using Adobe Bridge CC 2017. As it is right now - the only way to do this is to come to root folder, hit show items from subfolders, let it index and generate all the thumbnails (takes a long time and takes up space) - and then you are able to search. I have a template for basic metadata which I apply to all images.  But, there are a few older images which cannot be updated.  Other TIFF images in the same folder can be updated.  I am able to open the images in Photoshop, but Bridge does not show a thumbnails for the images to which I cannot add the metadata.I am using Created Cloud with the latest update.Any suggestions?

Hi there,I was working on an architectural photo job in Bridge CC 2015. I wanted to make a contact sheet in the Output Module, but noticed that it had just dissapeared.So I went ahead and downloaded the Bridge CC 2017 update from the Adobe App Manger (thinking that the Output Module would be available in it).When I then tried to open Bridge CC 2017 it doesn't even show the opening screen, the only thing which shows up is the bar at the top. Immediately after this it just shuts down. The whole process from opening to shutting down takes about 6 seconds.I am on a MacMini late 2012. I am running macOS Sierra 10.12.3I tried to download Bridge CC 2015 again, but it seems it is not available from the Adobe App Manager under previous versions.Please help as I have a deadline to provide my client with Contact Sheets.I not paying a subscription fee for software that does not work!Kind regards,Pieter

I've been using the handy BrowseBar2 extension for Bridge but it doesn't work with CS6. Does anyone know if there are plans to upgrade it? Or what it would take to do the upgrade? Is the source code available?I'm finding it inconvenient to have to manually traverse directories one level at a time again. Like many others I use a backup system, i.e, 2 or more HDs for redundant storage. When keywording images in Br with images on one HD, do I have to also manually duplicate those keywords for the duplicate backup images on another HD?

Help please! Bridge will not launch since i update to Sierra. It doesn't matter whether it try to launch via CC or via photoshop. I have tried math command-option-shift reset but that hasn't worked. Grateful for any advice. Caron

I have used Photoshop and Bridge for years, I subscribe monthly to the cloud. Everything has worked fine all this time. I recently bought a new camera Canon 7D Mark II (previous camera was just a 7D).  I tried to load my pictures into bridge for the first time from my new camera.  The pictures from my jpg versions are clearly visible (I always shoot in jpg and RAW), but the raw files aren't, they just showed as CR tiles. When I clicked on them I got a message saying that "if I was trying to open the raw files from my camera I would need to update", so I went into "help / update" and the computer started to update Adobe.  But now Bridge won't open at all and I now get the following message "The programme can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling it to fix it".Help.......  I'm not very good with computers so don't know where to start to put this right.  I use Bridge all the time, now it won't even open.  I have a

We use Bridge to collate & view PDFs of all of our work (packaging artworks), it an excellent tool for this and allows us to view ranges very quickly.We have many smart Collections set up to help us get to ranges quickly and we have various clients so the number of collections is getting quite long as you can see...We now need to add more clients (there is only 2 here ATM) and more collections, potentially double what we have now which means scrolling through the list of all of them, not the end of the world but a pain none the less.So is there a way of being able to put each clients collections into a folder or similar so it's easier to navigate?Thanks

I have a collection of digital elements all saved as separate .ai files which I catalog in Bridge CC 2017When I am designing in illustrator CC I have bridge open and like to drag in the different elements I will be using on that piece.I would like to be able to simply drag in the element on its own but when I pull something in it comes over with a clipping mask and groups and I spend a few minutes trying to get the element on its own.I don't want to link the file but I have tried embedding it which it does but it stays within the clipping mask.Is there a way to literally drag the element its self into Illustrator without the masks and such which accompany it?thank you

Since December 20, 2016, Bridge has been crashing.  My setup is a MacBook Pro running macOS Sierra 10.12.3 Beta.  The images I am working with are a combination of Nikon raw files and JPG files stored on an external hard drive.For the record, I am using the latest versions of macOS Sierra and Bridge.  I have never had this problem before.The crashes occur during the period when Bridge is crating thumbnails and getting the images ready for viewing.When I restart Bridge, it takes me back to the last folder I was in BEFORE the crash.  After several tries Bridge may return to a stable condition.  If it crashes a third or fourth time, I have to close the program and restart the computer.Any ideas?

I have a folder of images from a travel trip that I naively processed before renaming.  I saved images as PSD and JPG along with maintaining the CR.  This gave me an original file number with say 2 different extensions under the same number.  But later, I found other images from the same trip that I  want to add in a specific order to the folder.  But when I attempt the Batch rename it will change each image with consecutive file number, if I have saved them with different extensions.  Is there a way to Batch rename all the collection of images where an image with say 2 or 3 different extensions can keep the same new Batch rename and number?  ie:K2 Expedition_001.psdK2 Expedition_001.jpgK2 Expedition_001.copy.jpgand not being changed in the Batch Rename to:K2Expedition_001.psdK2Expedition_002.jpgK2Expedition_003.copy.jpgThanks,  Wayne Thompson

In CS 5 Bridge,  on my I Mac, when an image is opened in Camera Raw, a data file icon appears on the desktop screen.  This just started a week ago.  These data file icons are annoying, unneeded, and there has to be a way to make this stop.  This does not happen with my Macbook Pro.  Has this happened to anyone else ?[Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to specific Program forum... I'm trying to process 45 big files (7-10mb each), and it's taken 20 minutes just for Bridge to allow me to get to "Image Processor".It freezes and locks up, and disregards my changes to ignore previewing files over a certain size.  Even when I have the thumbnail low quality mode selected, it likes to hang.So... why pay $50/month for software when it's obvious that it's all broken and horribly unoptimized?

HiCompete failure of C: drive last week. New one fitted, Adobe helped me reinstall LR6 and CS5. I now find adobe bridge will not work, what do I need to do?Thanks for any help.

In the Preview workspace, thumbnail images in the preview panel (under CONTENT) lack image numbers and rating stars.  To the right, the full-size image (under PREVIEW) shows the image number and star ratings. The numbers and ratings are missing only in the Preview Workspace.  In all other workspaces, such as Output, the image number and star ratings appear below the images in the CONTENT panel, which is normal.  The disappearing numbers and stars happened a few days ago.  How do I get the image numbers and star ratings to display in the preview panel again?  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

When I select multiple keywords, I want Bridge to only provide images that contain all the keywords selected. Currently, it's listing every image assigned to each keyword, which provides hundreds of search results.For example, I have 100 images labelled A and 100 images labelled B. 10 images from category A are also labelled B and 10 images from category B are also labelled A. When I tick keywords A & B I expect 20 results that share both keywords. Instead I get 200 results for all of A and B.Is there a way in Bridge to change the way how the keywords are searched and displayed?

Short question:Where does Adobe Bridge CC store the information about stacks (under Windows)?In the Cache (will it be missed, if the cache is deleted?)? In each folder? In another database?

I have CC 2017 with preferences for NEF set for CC 2017.  It shows my camera raw is up to date, but I get an error message that the Camera Raw preferences may need updating?
