This has been an ongoing issue over many versions of Bridge, and many Mac OS versions but I wonder if anyone else has the same problem?I have files that include placed documents sitting in the layer stack as smart objects. Often these files get too big for some reason (becsause they have a placed doc?) so they have to be saved as PSB files.Bridge has problems exporting these files. I think it is just because of the smart obects inside them. They do get exported but Bridge gets stuck thinking its still exporting and will not stop its progress view.
I recently updated to a new computer. I now find that I can't keep Bridge permanently on "organize manually". Every time I close and reopen it's reverted to "organize by file name". Isn't there a way to "lock it" on manual organization?
Since downloading Bridge and PS on a new Macbook Pro 14" the Photo Downloader does not load at all when trying to obtain photos from my camera. I have followed all of the steps for using the Downloader in Preferences but it makes no difference. Any thoughts anyone?
Since updating to the latest bridge beta, Ive lost the text and icons in CameraRaw adjustment menu. Its also gone in the CameraRaw setting menu. I tried Light mode too, but no change. I turned off GPU as well, but again, no change. This does not happen to Photoshop for some reason. I tried reinstalling and disabling all start up scripts but no dice. Apple M1 Pro.
I,So, Bridge no longer displays tiff 16 bits thumbnails and preview.Exported via Lightroom Classic or Photoshop.Jpeg, PSD... files are OK.Mac OS 13.4.1 (c), Bridge 13.0.3, Photoshop 24.6.0 and Lightroom Classic 12.4.
What the What? Image Processor (or any Ps action) no longer available under Tools... Related, why do JPG images corrected in "Camera Raw" need to be RE-Jpegged before uploading, else look like they were never adjusted. It's annoying.
Hi 🙂I'm using bridge to filter my raws on my sd card in order to import just the starred/rated pictures from my sd card onto my computer. So I plug in the card and open the folder in those two programms and active the filter to sort the rated photos. Photomechanics needs less than a second to filter out about 100 photos of round about 800. Adobe Bridge on the other hand needs about 10 seconds. And with more pictures on the card, Bridge needs even more time. Can I speed up Adobe Bridge? Here is a comparison video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wgp-tC2nMsk Thanks!
Bonjour.
Hi, I'm having a problem enhancing a .jpg file (a composite) with Super Resolution in Camera Raw. (I've done this successfully many times with other composite files.) The .jpg was converted from a .psd in Ps. In Bridge, the file appears as a "Ps PSD" icon instead of a thumbnail image, which is unusual. I don't know why this happened. Does any of this suggest an underlying problem or possible remedy? Thanks
I've previously had no trouble adding metadata templates to my image files, but I'm trying to add metadata to a 1.7gb file and when I go to append or replace, all my template options are greyed out. I tried making my thumbnail processing size larger, up to 3000mb based on another community post, but it's not fixing my problem. Any idea? Thanks!
UPDATEI re-installed windows, new hardware. Same problems! Geez. Can we get ANY feedback regarding this huge bug? CPU idles up to 40% sometimes, even in empty folders. Scrolling is silly slow. Moving photos around is scary jerky and slow.PLEASE give us feedback. Are you going to adress/fix this? -----------------------------------------------------------------------------Very nice. Thank you for the update riddled with bugfixes.But.The main ones still persists. The crazy CPU-usage and the overall slow performance. Should this be the main priority?Screenshot 1-2 shows the CPU in idle state. One with bridge showing a library with photos. The other one with just folders. The movie (gif) shows how incredible slow it is, just to move photos around. All this came with v13. Can you PLEASE make this a priority. Feels like a main problem to fix? @Shubham V @Mohit Goyal Sorry for tagging you, but would it be possible for anyone at adobe to confirm you
I'm using Adobe Bridge 13.0.4.755 (also tried Adobe Bridge Beta 14.0.0.57). Some of my files, in several random folders are now marked as "No Camera Raw", and I cannot open them directly in Camera Raw. Both the shortcut (Cmd+R) and the "Open in Camera Raw" button are disabled. In full screen preview, pressing Cmd+R displays the message "This item does not have Camera Raw Settings" If I press Enter, it opens in Photoshop and Camera Raw opens the file as usual. It's possible to adjust settings, etc... Returning to Adobe Bridge, it still doesn't allow to edit the file I just edited in Camera Raw without opening in Photoshop first. I close Bridge and open it again. Then the file will be marked as if it had adjustments, and it can be opened in ACR directly from Bridge. 🤷♂ All files I'm trying to open were simply copied from a SD card and are not corrupted. If I make a copy of the file Bridge doesn't want to open, it works perfectly, therefo
La cuenta ya no hace parte de la institución pero no me deja cerrarla y tampoco me deja cambiarla.
Can Bridge export RAW files without converting them to something? I'm trying to put the files on an external drive and I don't have an option for just RAW. Thanks!
I have a number of Sony RX100M5A where the year was wrong. I download images from the camera SD card via Breeze Downloader Pro. Downloader Pro also creates a backup on an external HDD at the same time so I can format the card straight away knowing I have two copies of the images. To match my file image folder hierarchy I have to tell Downloader Pro what year it is downloading e.g H:\Mass Data LIVE\General 2023\{b} {T}\{Y}-{m}-{D} NOTE Download Pro only has date as YY/MM/DD whereas I, in UK, try to use DD/MM/YY 2023 is for this year; so I got the folder date correct as all the images are in the correct place i.e. 2022. It is the camera setting I forgot; I only got the camera in May of 2022 and only noticed the date when I used it again in September 2022. That camera was lightly used that year; my RX10M3 was used most that year. I use PS Elements 2021 for my images. So after Downloader Pro has done its work I go into Organizer and import and tag. I have a new PC
Self-help videos describe being able to use Bridge to rate RAW images, and start those I want to edit (in Lightroom Classic). However Bridge is moving them all over, starred and unstarred. I star them to ID the subset I want to edit. I apply the filter to show only those images that are starred.I select (SHIFT + A) all the images, and drag them into Lightroom. After every attempt, however, every photo in the original group - starrred and unstarred - is moved over into Lightroom defeating my purpose. Can anyone help? Perhaps this is with the Beta version?Thank you!
Is it possible with Adobe Bridge to generate a metadata template in which to modify batches of files by their original creation date?
Hey Guys! I hope someone can help me with this one because it turns out to be a Major Bug which really destroys a VERY important workflow for me. In Bridge i used to Rename Images by Clicking in the Filename, Rename it wit a unique Number THEN pressing TAB, so it would skip to the next Filename which was already highlighted, so i could type in the next unique Number. Now this won't work anymore, downgrading to an older version of Bridge doesn't help, the problem stays. It happens randomly and right now i'm not able to reproduce the error. (added a screenshot anyways)It appears that the interface displays the next number in a complete wrong place, and then eventually it will happen that the next Filename isn't highlighted anymore - thats the biggest problem. I have to highlight it again manually, which is a nightmare, because i have to rename about 2000 Images with unique numbers. Does anyone know anything about that? Thank you so much! christian
Now I need to compare folders. jump from one folder to other in a screen.and to folder to folder on second screen. But even I was able to "dedock" a content tab to browse files, it suck that they share the preview and folder pane. That makes so painful to work. basically I need to compare files.Adobe team could learn something from old software "ACEDESEE", that had a visual replacement file pop up.I loved when you could make 2 brodge windows and work EASILY;(
Just downloaded Bridge to my Mac running Ventura. All my images are on a seperate HDD so I set up bridge to search within the correct folder (and subfolders) on that drive. If I conduct a search for a specific keyword (which I know is there) Bridge fails to find the images with that keyword stating 'No iems to display'.I'm finding this very frustrating as have tried various DAM applications and none of them have achieved what I wanted so Bridge was my last hope.
All current versions of Bridge, 2022, 2023, Beta won't open photos with jpeg extension. Windows 11 has no problem seeing them. Have to open in Paint and convert them to jpg, before they can be opened by Bridge or PS
Every day I'm using the “tools” menu in Bridge with scripts I made in photoshop, so as to batch process my images, but I can't find it anymore... what's the problem ? No more “photoshop” writen in the tools menu !?
If a Mac finder window can show the file size with pixel dimensions, why is the Bridge finder missing this key data?In Bridge, this data can be found within the raw image data. e.g., :<exif:PixelXDimension>1444</exif:PixelXDimension><exif:PixelYDimension>1633</exif:PixelYDimension>For the above example, the finder window on a Mac displays 1444x1633.So, I would like to see this data displayed in Bridge when looking at the list view of the Content window in Bridge. Or at least somewhere other than pulling up the Raw Data on an image.Am I missing something? I can't easily find this info using Bridge. It seems odd that Bridge can scale an image using it's original dimensions, but can't tell me what the original dimension is at a glance. At least display some guess at dimensions. Sorting by dimensions doesn't cut it for me either. I like to see what we're talking about within my image folders.
