See Update #1, 2025-01-16 below.See Update #2, 2025-01-16 below. When using the latest version of Bridge (15.0.2.432) I have noticed that sometimes Bridge has a continued (very) high CPU usage for no reason. I can replicate this 100% (system details below):1. start Bridge2. enter "maximized" mode for the Bridge app window (so that the Bridge window fills the whole screen)3. enter "Filmstrip" mode4. go to a folder with more than around 40 images (see below *) (I have tested this with both small JPEGs and with large TIFFs, see also about filters below)5. Bridge may or may not generate thumbnails and/or previews (does not matter for this bug/problem)6. wait until the CPU usage for Bridge falls to its idle level (around 0.1% in my case)7. now enter "Light Table" mode8. at first nothing happens9. cover part or the whole Bridge windows with another app (I used the Task Manager when experimenting)10. then bring the Bridge window to the front, so that the Bridge window is fully
I have a Terramaster with many 16tb disks. Most of time this cannot be opened. I see the little circle spinning but It cannot open the content of those disks. If I delete preferences I can open them but in a few days it happens again. With any other program I have no problem to open those large disks like ACDSEE or PhotoMechanic so it is an Adobe Bridge problem. It has been going for very long now with no solution
I would like to report some bugs in the "Metadata" window/panel (Windows). As far as I can tell this was introduced in the latest version of Bridge (15.0.0.397) (never seen this before now). As can be seen in the examples below, some fields gets way to large (high) or to small (only a single line). Also, sometimes there are large areas of unused pace. In the examples below I have undocked the "Metadata" window to make it a bit larger (when docked the behavior is the same, but more difficult to observe). See screening dumps below:3-Open-IPTC-(IIM-legacy).jpg4-Open-IPTC-(IIM-legacy)-again.jpg5-Open-IPTC-Core.jpg6-Open-IPTC-Core-again.jpg7-very-large-Keywords-field.jpg - Start Bridge- Enable all properties in "File Properties", "IPTC (IIM, legacy)" and "IPTC Core"- "Window -> Metadata (open the metadata window)- Select an image with metadata- All sections are visible but closed -> see "1-All-sections-visible-but-closed.jpg"- Open "File Properties"- Looks OK -> "2-Open-File-Pr
In Bridge 2025 and in 2024 as well since a recent update, Bridge is painfully slow - especially on my external drives - and takes forever to display thumbnails, load full resolution previews, and even just change folders. It frequently reports as "not responding" and uses up excessive system resources. Scrolling with the mouse wheel also slowed down considerably with the 2025 update. I'm paying to use this software and it doesn't appear that Adobe performed the proper QA/QC before releasing recent updates. Please fix ASAP.
Thumbnails no longer display after Bridge 2024 updated to Bridge 2025. Also when I try to open Bridge 2024 if displays Bridge 2024. I have deleted and reinstalled Bridge and the result was the same Thumbnails do not display.
I cannot open any large external Hard Drive . Drives of 8TB are fine but I have a few 16tb drives on an external Terramaster. They do not open in Bridge. They haven't in the past so i moved to photo Mechanic . With the new updates i tried again but the problem is not solved. Nor on the left panel where the folder structure should be under the drive nor in the content panel nothing can be seen. Large files are just impossible to popen for Bridge

Bridge - a ferramenta: Photoshop/Carregar arquivos em camadas do Photoshop não está funcionando depois da atualização do Bridge e Photoshop
Bridge automatically installs when I use Photoshop. It reinstalls after I uninstall it.I tried turning off auto updates and resetting the Creative Cloud app per the instructions on this thread. https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/bridge-2021-downloading-automatically/td-p/11582289I don't use Bridge and having it launch when I use Photoshop is annoying.I don't want to have manage Bridge or have it installed.
Adobe Bridge 2025 update is not displaying the metadata fields and actual data in the IPTC Core section correctly.Description field shows text, but the text box is expanded way beyond what actual text there is.IPTC Core section doesn't display all the metadata fields.
Images that have color ratings in LRc show as a white box in Bridge 15.
Using the mouse's scroll wheel in Bridge's Folders Pane used to work comfortably. However, with version 15, the scroll speed is tediously slow. I checked my Windows 11 settings, and the mouse parameters have not changed.
I've tried every solution posted in Adobe Forums, but none of them have worked. Bridge 14.1.2.300 will not generate/show thumbnails or previews of Tiff files
crop panel missing in adobe raw 14.51
After renaming files with Batch Rename, more than half of the thumbnails on the Content Panel go blank. When I click on a blank one it shows correctly in the Preview Panel. Running version 14.1.2.300 on MacBook macOS 14.6.1
Bridge is loosing head after renaming hundreds files (swap filename between current file and the next), loose extension (put JPG instead of keeping NEF). Some files are named AdobeBridgeBatchRenameTemp120240712_105453_ISO3200_1_20 sf_11,0...
I now can't do anything with Adobe Bridge without it crashing. For example, just. opening the app and clicking on a favorites folder. I have reinstalled twice, once keeping preferences and once without. I'm running iOS 14.6.1Bridge is unusable and this is very frustrating.
It's been bugging me for a while, but I just changed my computer and now have a really powerful machine. I thought it would resolve the issue, but apparently not.So here goes.Amost all the time, when I want to batch export PNGs from files, it fails (see screenshot) it can happen with a whole selection of files, but also with just one. I noticed that whenever the files are on the biggest side, it will get worse. The error report says "unsupported format. The same file(s) will have no issue being exported as TIFFs, or JPEGs, just not the PNGs. I managed to export 80-ish very high res files (think 6000x8000) in TIFF without any serious slowing down, even on my old computer.Things that I found can help:Compact the cache, although I have more than sufficient space in there (see screenshot). In some instances I had to compact the cache repeatedly, no sure if that even helped or it was just coincidence. Sometimes exporting one by one can help, but not always, but that negates the whole automa
Bridge is no longer displaying images upon clicking on a directory on the local NAS, this has always worked in the past, but stopped working after the last update.
I batch renamed a small selection of files, and it destroyed the file types... changing to an unreadable, not even real file type "24_JULY2024_##", which is a segment of what I was renaming each file to. I thought I had lost all these edits, but was able to fix it by manually, tediously, going through and renaming each file and adding ".jpg" onto each one. Note: it only did this on the 20/22 of the files.
The spacebar preview panel doesn't respect the display text scaling when showing the filename. In Windows Settings, set System > Display > Scale to 200%In Adobe Bridge, now all of the filenames and text are nicely scaled larger. 1. Press spacebar on a photo to preview2. Press ctrl-2 to give a star rating3. Notice that the filename in the lower left corner is tinyExpected: the filename should respect the system settings and be scaled by 200%. Windows 11Bridge 14.1.1.274
it doesn't work, I can't see the folders of the desk with bridge
Issue:My usual workflow is to use Bridge to add embedded keywords to JPG files. After updating Camera Raw to 16.3.1 this same workflow generates .xmp sidecar files instead of embedding the metadata. However, this is not consistent, with some JPG files accepting embedded metadata and some not.Suspecting Camera Raw, I installed version 16.0 which allowed the keywords to be embedded as required.(Bridge 14.1.0; macOS 14.5 (23F79), M2)Notes:The only difference between the files for which embedding worked and those for which it failed is that the failing files were output from PSDs which included a layer with small amount of AI generated content. This may or may not be a factor.I looked for a way to download the previous 16.x version but in the end had to make a support call, and after 30. minutes on hold and another half-hour over a very poor line, I was sent a link to the v16.0 download. Thanks to the support worker, but no thanks to Adobe for a wasted day and a late delivery to my client.
Camera Raw not launching when selecting "Open in Camera Raw" for RAW & Jpeg files from Adobe Bridge. Currently running Bridge v 14.1.0 Camera Raw v 16.3Same issue in Photoshop when selecting "Camera Raw Filter ..." Running Photoshop v 25.9
