Hace dos actualizaciones (24.4.1) Al querer exportar un video con Media Encoder empezó a tardar en añadirse el proyectoa la cola, luego no me dejaba abrir la configuración de exportación porque nunca se llegaba a activar el Dynamic link, sin embargo sí podía exportar. Ahora con la vrsión 24.6 dejó de funcionar incluso el panel de previsualizaciones (de la composición y de las capas en sí), no puedo ver nada y sin embargo me pone que se tarda en renderizar cuando antes fluía sin problema. No sé que está pasando pero no puedo hcaere nada si no lo veo.

Tenho uma máquina dedicada a edição de vídeo, que deveria rodar sem muito problemas o Premiere e o After Effects, porém recentemente meu After tem acusado várias vezes memória insuficiente para o programa, o que não faz muito sentido pois a alguns dias usava ele tranquilamente. Não mexi nas configurações do programa para está fazendo isso, o premiere até então nunca aconteceu isso Configs do PC:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700FGeforce RTX 3060 Ti32Gb RAMWindows 10 Seguem algumas das notificações que aparece quando acontece o erro 

We have discovered a problem in 24.6 (latest AFX build) where some EXR sequences have the incorrect gamma applied to it. The only work around is to reimport the same file again and the gamma is imported correctly.So far we have isolated the issue to 24.6 - when running the same project in 2023 and then 24.5, the files are brought in correctly. This is affected Windows and Mac systems - it is very much affecting After Effects as a whole.

I use Ae 24.5.0 (Build 52) on Windows 11 and have noticed a while that if i for example place 10 comps in the Render Queue and select "Output To" for the first item it gets the correct name, iow the name of the Composition. This is expected.   But, for some reason the rest are named "_mov.mov", "_mov_1.mov", "_mov_2.mov", etc, etc. You can see it on the screen dump and you can also see the name of the Comps. If i hit Enter to start the render the files are indeed named "_mov.mov", "_mov_1.mov", "_mov_2.mov", etc, etc and thats useless.   I have noticed that sometimes it happens, and sometimes all comps gets their correct names in one go without a glitch.   Is this a known issue?      

Hi, I really need help, I don't understand why I have this bug.When I try to preview my work, my loading bar immediately resets and the preview is jerky (due to the fact that my bar loads a little but resets just afterwards).I manage to load and keep the load if I interact with the after effect interface (for example if I keep pressing on the timeline size change).Please help!I also got the error saying that ‘After Effects error: Cached Preview needs 2 or more frames to playback’I've emptied my cash, my preview is at 1/4 it shouldn't bug.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Hi folks! When I'm rendering a Clip in H.265 (HEVC), I cannot open another project. AE always shows the issue "The document "myproject" could not be opened. After Effects cannot open files in After Effects Project format."I have to restart AE 50 times a day, because I'm working on much small projects, daily.Thats so anoying! Can you help me?Tnaks & regards Timo

HeyI was trying to use Roto brush to remove background from 3 seconds part of whole video but when I tried to double click on my 3 seconds clip nothing happened and new layer where I can use roto brush wasn't crated like it was in tutorials on YouTube. Double clicking on whole video (3 min) worked indeed. I know I can trim exact part from this whole raw video, but it will take a lot of time every time just to find part you need. so do you have any suggestions how I can remove background just from this 3 seconds part? I attached video for better understanding thank you 

AE Comp can't connect with MESystem:MacBook Pro 16 M1 Max 32GB RAMMac OS Sonoma 14.5 (23F79) Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue... won't do anything and makes ME crashes. (Had to force quit)PR works totally fine with ME.Rendering at AE works totally fine. Adding Comp from ME with File > Add After Effects Composition... works.Tried uninstall and reinstalling both AE and ME did not fix the problem. Any help will be superrr helpful!! The percentage counter i have built using this expression effect("Slider Control")("Slider").value.toFixed(0)+"%"is malfunctioning. As it spools up it keeps switching between whole numbers and percentages within the ket frames

I maximize the composition panel to see my work on fullscreen. I change to the pen tool to draw, composition panel minimizes.I notice it also happens when panning holding the middle mouse button.

Hi I'm using windows 10 w/4090 in AE and i have a 3 monitor setup, main monitor, color calibrated Eizo coloredge and a TV mirroring the eizo. My typically setup is to have both the eizo and tv set to mercury transmit preview.Testing out aces workflow and... it does not let you set the preview output to the same color space as your comp workspace, so the colors look completely wrong. This seems is a pretty major oversight. Are there plans to fix this?  Thanks in advanceRuairi Robinson

I have 2 Animate files that I'm importing into AE. Both files are saved in seperate folders, everything is named correctly and all assets are placed in their correct folders. File A from Animate imports into AE correctly; it makes .swf files, everything animates as it should, it works fine. After Effects refuses to import File B right. Every asset gives a 'File cannot be opened, it may be in an unsupported format (86: 1 )' even though it's in the same format as File A. Dragging the files in directly gives me the same 'File can't be opened' message. It's not an issue of neither works, it's more one does, the other doesn't despite them being nearly identical.  I've renamed the file, moved the folder, resaved the Animate file, restarted my computer, restarted After Effects, I can't figure it out. Other files open, but this one won't. I'm using After Effects 2023 and Animate 2023 on a Macbook Pro, Big Sur 11.7.10.  

(See attached video.) When I copy a layer with relative property links, then paste to create a new layer with those property links, then duplicate the comp, the duplicate layer does not update. Steps to encounter the bug:Create a layer.Copy with relative property links.Paste to create a new layer with relative property links.Duplicate comp.Change a property of the original layer in the new comp (position, in this case). The position of the duplicate layer does not update; it remains frozen in place It should instead "follow" the original layer. Curiously, the position property in the layer stack does show that the property is updating properly; it is merely not updating visually. I have several third-party plug-ins installed; ask if you need specifics. I am running After Effects 24.5.0 (Build 52) for macOS Sonoma 14.6 on a 2021 MacBook Pro with Apple M1 Max chip and 64 GB of memory.

I have been noticing premiere projects and after effects projects vanishing .  I recently was able to reproduce this because fortunately, we have a backup system in place and was able to recover the deleted project, and reproduce it. I have a dynamically linked after effects project with som fottage that became unlinked.   I choose "edit original" from premiere and relinkd the footage that was unlinked. When I went into premiere it said the after effects project (that was just there) was offline. When I looked in the folder that the ae project was in, it was emptyhttps://youtu.be/a4DBbu6js4c

Trying to align animation to audio, I hit play and NOTHING moves. Audio plays and video plays but I need to guess where on the wave form it coudl be at to cut my animation to. I do not even get the red cached timeline indicator. There are NO updates as I am fully updated. I use Mister Horse plugin.AMD 5900X64GB RAM3TB NVMe RAMNvidia 4080 Super Nothing heavy going on and no Mister Horse plugin being used but it is installed.

I recently reinstalled all the MacOS Monterey (12.7.6) into my Mac Pro 6,1 (Intel Xeon E5 3,5GHz) and reinstalled all the Adobe Creative Cloud apps. The 2024 apps like Photoshop or Illustrator works with any issue. But the 2023 apps like Premiere, Media Encoder or After Effects (in his last working version for my mac) crashed when I try to open it. It's a very strange bug, because they fail in the launch, that's meaning the app crash before the window of the app appears. I clicked in the app icon, the app is jumping in the deck and a few seconds after apperars a crash inform with any information about the crash.Before the reinstalled of the OS system all the apps was working perfectly. Any Help? 

Hi I'm using After Effects version 24.5 and since I downloaded a font I now can't use any text in AE without it crashing. I've deleted that font, reset the fonts panel, deleted my cache, reinstalled AE and its still happening. I'm using a 3xs PC.

I don't know if everyone is having this problem, but After Effects is absolutely impossible to work. I'm working using simple shapes, a gradient layer and a text layer. And After Effects is just slow with something so simple like that. Inside the program, the mouse movement gets really laggy, it takes forever to render. And I'm not using external files, I'm not using adjustment layers and I'm not using any Motion Blur. I'm feeling After Effects is getting worse and worse on each version Adobe release. And there's no way the problem is my computer, since I'm using a Mac Studio with M1 Max, 64Gb RAM and 4T storage. I can't find a resonable explanation for all this lag on every project. Honestly, I'm starting to think about migrating to another software, since Adobe seems to just ignore all the After Effects problems.

Hey so I want to check out the Help docs from time to time but keep getting this error pop-up "The help system was not initialized." No matter what I choose from the help tab menu. Tried re-installing vanilla, didnt help. What do I do?

See image below. Issue: Save new project in folder A. Save another new project in folder B. Go to use Open Recent of project in A. Make changes and Ctrl-Shift S to save under ammended name, and it save not where the file resides but where I last saved a file in folder B. This is nonsense! If I use Open Recent, then when saving WE SHOULD ALREADY BE IN THAT FOLDER WHERE OPEN RECENT FOUND IT!!. I lost work because of this BS. I made changes to a file Open Recent, Saved As a new file but didn't realize it went into a totally different folder of a project I worked on recently. That project was finished, packaged and archived, with the work folder deleted. SAME FOLDER THAT AE SAVED AS TO, and I didn't realize. It also save a back-up file in that other folder. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! In the screengrab above you can see what I mean.

During the last two weeks, my After Effects has been completely unworkable. It’s constantly crashing in almost all my projects, whether it’s a newly created project or one I’ve worked on long ago.The crashes appear very randomly. It can occur when I’m moving an object in a 3D scene, or it can just crash when I’m watching a previewed scene. Sometimes it shows a crash log, sometimes it just goes dead, and I’m not even able to close it with Task Manager. My PC specs: Windows 10Intel i9-14900kRX 3090DDR5 128GBMotherboard: Asrock B760M Steel Legend WiFi3 M2 SSDs, 1TB each I’ve reinstalled Windows multiple times. Tried using legacy versions of the program such as AE 2019 and 2022. No overclocking, tried to undervolt even. No result.I also tried every single solution I found on the internet. Nothing helps.I desperately need help with this issue…Thanks to everyone in advance.
