I have a layer retaining problem after sending files for editing from Lr to Ps and back to Lr. My workflow is the following: - I send a DNG file from Lr cloud based to Ps for editing - I edit in Ps adding layers, save and roll back to Lr; the Ps TIFF file is stacked correctly with the original one - no further editing in Lr - the TIFF file is sent again to Ps for a new editing session, the image aspect  is correct but the layers are gone, the image is flat - if I edit the image in Ps anyway, save and roll back to Lr, a new edited image is stacked with the previous two (original and first Ps edit). But: - if I export the TIFF file as it is from Lr to a folder and then I open that file in Ps, the layers are there. Thank you for any help you can provide, and thank you for the great work you are doing to improve the Ps family. I do appreciate that. Just installed lightroom and this constantly flashes on screen then lightroom closed, reopens itself and says this again and keeps circling.

If I look the same picture at 100% magnification on LrC and Lr on the same iMac the one on Lr looks approx twice as big as the one on LrC. The correct one is the one of LrC MacOs= Big Sur 11.1

If you in the fields:   Location City - for example København (Copenhagen) State/Province   enters the Danish letters "Æ Ø Å" Lightroom cannot find that place / location and the application freezes and must be shut down. Why? And what can I do to make it work?

Hello, It's been 2 month that i can't crop in the format i want. Nothing happen when i choose the 5x4 cropping... That's very very anoying so please can you fix this ? PS: i uninstalled/reinstalled twice.  

In Lightroom web there is a bell icon for activity which shows the number of likes and who liked a submitted edit.  This number is always higher than the number on likes shown on the photo.  The attached images show an example, the bell icon is often 5 more than on the photo.  The issue is browser independent.  Is there a reason for this?  CheersGraham 

Ive made a preset with only sharpening and noisereduction, set to only affect these settings. When applying this to an edit it removes/resets my color mix. Is this a bug or does it work for anyone else?

Hi Rikk, besides the outage, I am trying to sync my cloud stored data since several weeks on my NAS (Synology), connected via Gigabit Ethernet. in the beginning it works fine but after 10.000 pictures and movies its not going further (I have about 35.000) and plenty of storage. LR freezes, have to start again then additional 2-3 pictures are synced, that's it. Also I can't use LR since then (open pictures, look into people etc.), when I disconnect the NAS I can work, but not sync. Dont understand why this is not a background task and does LR really look up local backuped NAS Data when I work on data (should only be a backup?). Its frustrating, as this would be the major advantage of the solution?? Any Idea?Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Lightroom CC: Mobile syncs but desktop app doesn't.

When pasting settings from one photo to multiple others, all but the colour grading is taken across.  Still pastes fine one image at a time. But not multi selected (yes it is checked to be copied) 

Lightroom helper crashes when terminating lightroom.  This occurs on a Windows 10 PC that is fully up to date.

Hello. I am using face recognition since it was launched in CC, having really lots of people tagged and it works well now by itself. I upload a new photo and people are being tagged automatically. Except my wife. My wife is on the top when sorting people by count, meaning she is the most tagged person on my cloud (1666 pictures to date). Yet it cannot recognize her anymore. Whatever i upload, picture from a daily life or super sharp and detailed front facing profile pic, it leaves her untagged.To be clear, it recognises there is a person, but it does not match the name to it. Only my wife. I can upload group photo with 30 people and it tag everyone except of her despite the fact she has the most pictures already tagged to compare with.

Hi, I use Lightroom on my iPad Air 4th gen to edit my Canon EOS R’s .CR3 RAW files. When I connect my SD card reader to select pictures for importing I see the pictures as squares instead of the correct aspect ratio in this screen. When I zoom in they look stretched in length and hard to see select them correctly. I don’t have the same problem with other Canon camera’s .CR2 files or even JPEG files from the EOS R.   Can anyone advise me on a possible solution or can this be fixed in the next update please? I am hoping to upgrade to R5 soon and edit mainly on Lightroom with my iPad and this is going to make my life difficult if it won’t be fixed soon.   Thanks   Tolga    

Previously the map seen in the info window would, if clicked, open a map in google maps in a browser. It no longer works, but the mouse rollover still generates a popup that says "click to open in a browser". That is a useful feature, so I would like to know if it has gone away permanently, if this is a bug, and if it can be restored. Thanks

In the edit panel, adjusting any of the sliders on the right has no impact on changing the image. This occurs when editing CR3 Raw images from a Canon R5. I've tried re-installing, enabling/disabling hardware acceleration, enabling/disabling local cache of image and previews. There are an annoying gap between panels when using Lightroom in Russian.        Russian                                            English             

I am used to work with keyboard more than with mouse, so I often use Tab key to move from one input box to another. When changing date and time of a photo, I enter hour, press Tab to change minutes but I edit the colon between hours and minutes instead! The same between minutes and seconds.                        test   And I can actually really overwrite that colon 😄 Here I overwrote them with fives.  

Hoping this makes sense! Almost every time I export/save photos from CC, the program will begin the process, then stop halfway through and restart... which then duplicates the file. For example, I tried exporting an album of 80 high res images yesterday afternoon, which I walked away from...and four hours later,came back to the program STILL exporting, and I had SEVEN copies of about 3/4ths of the images from the album. If its user error, for the love of goodness, please correct me. If its a problem with CC, how would I go about fixing it? I've switched computers, uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted my computer.... nothing seems to fix it! Please help! Exporting weddings is a frikin NIGHTMARE.

As I'm migrating from Aperture I moved ~50Gb of images into LrCC in one import. Images import to library fine, but the sync to cloud is incredibly slow - Task manager shows it topping out at ~0.5Mbps, whilst a quick speed check while the sync is running suggests upload speeds 15-20Mbps.It has been syncing for a few days now (admittedly not 24/7) which is pretty annoying! Any suggestions on how to get this going faster are much appreciated!

When I use DNG mode the screen gets purple and the photos look the same way

hi,The "store locally" function on iOS seems to be not working anymore.The only way to get the counter increasing is by manually "load" a picture by opening it.I have enough space on my devices, rebooted the apps, devices and tried on different networks. Any others having this issue?Kr,

Since the latest update the Histogram display seems odd. It only displays first time in, if you go to crop and back to develop it has disappeared. It also doesn’t respond to changes of exposure, whites, blacks, etc. Can this be fixed please as the histogram is vital to maximising dynamic range.

Lightroom Mobile app for Android ignores system sound settings and still plays a very loud shutter sound even when system sounds are muted.Could you at least add an app setting/option not to play that shutter sound (mute all app sounds)? It happens for my Note 7.
