Today after the update I encountered that my Photoshop won't open due to this error: “(Photoshop beta.exe) Failed to continue code execution because the system did not detect dxcore.dll. To fix this error, try reinstalling the application.”--- I have reinstalled several times already, but it didn't help me in any way. I also searched for solutions, but found nothing useful 😞Since I urgently need the program for work, I wanted to install at least the previous version, but from what I understand, it is not possible to do so--- Does anyone know how to fix it or how to install the previous version?  

Hi, Photoshop beta is missing the dialog box "duplicate image" when duplicating image, which resaults in files being duplicated as "Untitled-1".    The very functional dialog box still appears in the none beta photoshops:    Couldnt find anything about it in the Beta Preferences menus. Is this on purpose or a bug? Thanks, T.          

Cmyk image. I cannot use curves or Hue Saturation. Something is broken. I have been using photoshop for over 30 years, I know all the work arounds and simple fixes. This is a bug on your end.     

When I run an acton through the batch dialog box the box doesn't close when done. I have to close and reopen the program)  running Adobe Photoshop Beta 25.8.0 Apple M1 Max OS: 13.6.2  Screenshot attached

I had two problems with the text list in PS. If I scrolled through the drop down list it would always revert to the begining of the list. Exp: scroll down to fonts starting with E, then boom, back to the top. Didnt mater if I used the mouse or arrows. I found a fix for that by turning off in Edit>Prefences>text>Number of recent fonts to display>Zero.  I like having recent fonts displayed, so thats no good. Second issue, its not grave but it is supremely annoying, the text drop down seems to constantly resize itself. Help?

Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.1.0 20241103.m.2834 14d3e74 x64Operating System: Windows 10 64-bitVersion: 10 10.0.19045.5073English (United States)Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support is DISABLED Cosmetic Bug:When selecting the Color filter under Parametric Filters the propertoes tab under the section Gradiant Overlay within the Gradiant Rotation dropdown box shows invalid charecters like as if its a unicode conversion error or just has the wrong charecter after the number and before the degree symbol. Cosmetic for sure,  but perhaps a resource file issue that could cause issues down the line. See image attached

In Photoshop 2024 (25.10.0) Beta File > Generate does no longer generate correctly  Using the generate command "dark glass background  effect" produce a white background or similar  see photo

The quick access sliders (next to the tool values - see attachment) in 25.12.0 don't work (at least for me); the icon still changes to the familiar finger and horizontal arrows. This is a 'bug' affecting all palettes, toolbars etc., excepting the 'Character' and 'Paragraph' palettes for some reason.   I've tried uninstalling, removing preferences and reinstalling to no effect.

Hi there,   Some basic info: OS: Win 11 Pro Cam Raw: 16.4 Ps Beta: 25.12   Issues: - After I adjusted settings and played around with the "Lens Blur," it will reset all the adjusted settings (e.g., brightness, contrast, mask, etc.) when I tried to view the original/edited using "\" key. I've tried to restart the Ps Beta, and it won't make any changes. It gets annoying when I forgot this bug existing, all the modified settings were gone. And, I cannot reverse to previous step (ctrl + z).     Please fix it!   Cheers, Jasper

When I try to open photos from LR 13.5.1 using the "edit in...", it comes up saying "Lightroom Classic and Photoshop 2024 are having issues connecting. Please reinstall Adobe 2024 Photoshop and try again”.  Then you can only select CANCEL     If I have Photoshop up and running this is the message I am getting “Do you want to open in Adobe Photoshop (Beta), Which is already running? If not please close and re try”.   Open in Photoshop (Beta)    or Cancel

When using the gradient tool, I have noticed the bracket key shortcut, to cycle through the gradient styles, has stopped working in the recent Photoshop (Beta) updates. I'm using 26.0.0.   I'm on an iMac, Intel, OS 14.6.1. Thanks, in advance, for checking it out.

I've seen this used to transofrm a layer into an oil painting or sketch, but the workflow is not working: I've tried quick select > Fill 30% greyTurn off quick selectGenerative fill prompt "Architecture site plan" (or any prompt) = total fail (blue and white blobby nonsense).  I have tried a 30% grey mask. I've tried a bunch of other opacities.  I've tried creating an alpha channel, setting to 30%, clicking RGB thumbnail, selecting the alpha chanell, running Gen Fill = blue blobby mess (even with the prompt "oil painting"Is there a new way to do this, or am I doing something idiotic?    

I've been using Photoshop Beta with Generative Fill for the past few weeks, and when it works it works well. However, one issue that I've had since day one is that it frequently causes my Photoshop to crash. Here's what typically happens:   I select some area. I click "Generate" (doesn't matter if I put a promp in or not). The progress bar gets to around 80%. Dice are thrown, and quite often my Photoshop will just crash and close.   When it crashes, 90% of the time the Photoshop window just disappears and I have to re-open it. 10% of the time I get some generic message saying there is some 'fix' found, where none of the suggestions fix it. I've been using Photoshop for years without issue, and it's only this one new feature that suddenly causes it to crash all the time. Also, sometimes before the Photoshop crash my mouse cusor will lock up for a few seconds.   I've tried disabling GPU usage in Photoshop, forcing Photoshop's CPU affinity to just one CPU, and no matter w

While Entering Tab key, it Shifts to CMYK Boxes and Fills to Change Number Properly on Old Versions, But now it is not filling i have to work with Keys (ctrl+shift+right arrow), is there any another solution to restore old version type.

Using AI generative fill, or the remove tool, removes the existing transparency of selected parts of the image.  My current workaround is to duplicate my working layer before using AI, but I think this is a bug that should be fixed.

Using the Photoshop beta: I created/generated an image with the new Backdrop Creator tool in the Neural Filters, when you press OK after it's done generating, the images will be invisible on the canvas, they appear on the layer thumbnails, and you can transform them as if they were on the canvas, transforming them will change the thumbnail (For example: press CTRL+T will create a transform box around the canvas as if you could see something there, and scaling it down and pressing enter will scale it down in the layer thumbnail).      

Reporting an issue here that seems to consistently crash PS Beta 26.0.0   Mac OS 13.1 (22C65) iMac 3.8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7Here are the steps to reproduce:-Create a layer with some raster content-Group it 3 times (group inside of a group inside of a group) -Merge the innermost group (Group 1) -Ungroup the next group up (Group 2)I'll also attach a screen recording below.   While it may seem like an unusual sequence, I have a plugin with 1000+ users that uses a version of this very sequence - it'll be a real mess for me if the issue persists. Thanks for making the Beta available for these types of things!

Here's what happened:    I opened a square image.  Cropped it to 16:9 and used generative expand.  I selected a reference image.  I pasted in a text prompt: This is 'my prompt'   I got the error:Error 25:Expected: ). Line: 1 ->   Removing the ' characters resolves the error.

I've been using Photoshop Beta for an extended period and have encountered a recurring bug related to guide locking. Despite exhaustive troubleshooting efforts, including resetting preferences and implementing various suggested solutions, the issue persists.The problem manifests as follows: When working in a document, I can successfully lock guides using View > Guides > Lock Guides. These guides remain locked for the duration of the active session. However, upon closing the document and reopening it later, even though the guides were previously locked, they revert to an unlocked state.This behavior necessitates manually relocking the guides each time the document is reopened, which is both time-consuming and prone to oversight. The inconsistency has led to alignment errors in my work when guides are inadvertently moved due to their unlocked status.I believe this to be a bug in the software, as the expected behavior would be for guides to maintain their locked status across sessio

From the last PS beta update duplicated window doesn't follow automaticly every tools on second monitor screen. For example the helaing brush tool works but dodge tool doesn't. When I click on second window it's refresh everything. But just when it's a manual click on it.(Win10) Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.11.0 20240626.m.2679 509bf35 x64

scenario:take an image with i.e. a camera shadow on the floor, i.e. a hardwood floor.    good working gen fill: make a hard selection, generative fill, and pick one one the 3 good fills   bad gen fill: make a selection, feather the edge, gen fill (no prompt), and PS beta (25.13) (win 10), and PS will create hallucinations instead of a decent floor patch, i.e. insert grafiti, a doll, or anything totally unrelated to the image i am working on

Photoshop Beta 25.9.0 Apple Studio M1 Max 64GB ram Mac OS 14.4.1 Using the new Adjustment Brush Tool is regularly crashing Photpshop Beta. Crashes while painting in an adjustment and sometimes just adding a new adjustment from the Contextual Task Bar.
