Issue:  When using multiple windows for the same file, only the current focused tab/window will update it's graphic correctly making tedious to have multiple views of the same file. It only started to happen from version 25.11.Photoshop version: 25.11OS:  Windows 11 23H2Steps to reproduce:... Open a file/New blank file.... Go to Window>Arrange>New window for "currentfile" / Arrange tiles for multiple views.... Make any changes to the canvas in one of the windows/tabs for the file. Expected result: Changes made to the canvas made in one window/tab should immediately reflect on click release in the other window/tab.Actual result: The unfocused window/tab will not reflect the changes, only updating when swapped focus to it or when performing certain actions, like creating new layers. Please fix this.

So I'm going around in circles with this issue. I work on mac for work and originally had a mac for personal use - but that's about burned out so have made a switch back after several years to windows (11) just for my personal laptop. Got around to setting up adobe cc, and opening programs initially was difficult and wouldn't always load up (ps, ai, id, ae). After a search it says to set the program properties (or right click) to open as an administrator. This works and I can then open the program every time. - yay! (even managed to turn off the annoying pop-up) Anyway, I then go to drag and drop and image from file explorer into a program, and get a stop sign on my cursor preventing me from doing so. Another quick google says the fix is to NOT open Ps etc in admin mode and drag and drop will work. Hello everyone, I'm having an issue with Photoshop when selecting tools using the keyboard. I can only select tools in combination with the Shift key. I'm currently using the latest version of Photoshop (v25.11.0 on macOS Sonoma v14.5), but this problem has been occurring for a while. Could it be that I accidentally changed a setting? If so, where can I reset it? Thank you in advance for your help!

There is a bug in the latest version of Photoshop. I am unable to switch brushes to hide or reveal in masks. The switch arrow does not work and when I press cnrtl x it thinks I want to liquify! 

I have installed and uninstaled PS a dozen times today and no mattter which version I use, the left side bar is always black and icons can been scene, if I hover over them the little title/info box does pop out. Any ideas as I am having issues with LR and PS not talking and just realized that this might be the reason or be part of it.

Hi,with the new version of photoshop 25.1.1.0  on Windows 11 I believe I see a small issue:I use the additional window in photoshop to see the look of an image in different scales - if I am working in a very big zoom mode and compare it to a smaller version to it. Until now the behavior was, that the content was updated after a brush stroke with a bit delay.  So far not realtime, but was fine with me. But with the new version the update just comes if I click on the additional window itself or I change something on the layers like hide/show or add a new one. I added a example screen shot where you can see that I added for the orignal Window in 400 %  I wrote something with several strokes but it is not updated in the small window below.  

Hello, I use File>Generate>Image from my artboards/layers that end with a file extention with my workflow. I updated my macOS (Sonoma 14.5) and Photoshop (25.11.0) to the latest verions and now I can not see these options. Please help me find these options as I use it EVERYDAY for my job. 

My iMac had a catastrophic hard-drive failure, which forced me to move my work to my MacBook Air M1 with Sonora OS on it. The problem is, I can't open any files in Photoshop besides .psd files—everything else crashes the app immediately, both .jpg and .png files. I've tried starting from scratch with no other files or programs open, and it didn't work. I restarted Photoshop and then the computer, I updated the app in Creative Cloud, and even updated the OS to Sequoia, and the issue continued. In the forums here, I found years-old advice that suggested to "disable native canvass" but I have no such option in Photoshop 2024. Then, I gave it a few days to see if it would fix itself or if Adobe would release an update, but no dice. Now, I'm getting backed up on work for clients, as Photoshop is functionally unusable if it can't open files, and I really need this resolved. Any assistance would be appreciated.Thanks.

Updated Photoshop to 25.11 this morning on a MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.5 and no longer able to open PDF files in Photoshop. Tried a variety of files created previously be me and others from outside my organisation.  All flag up "Photoshop could not complete your request because of a program error" Rolling back to Photoshop 25.9.1 does allow PDFs to be opened so looks like a 25.11 bug.

Buonasera, ho un problema con la funzione Generative Fill di Photoshop 2024. Quando vado a chiedere di generare un'immagine mi riporta un errore di connessione internet ma il Pc è regolarmente collegato alla rete.  Ho acquistato la Suite Adobe Creative Cloud con la licenza student e sono in regola con i pagamenti mensili. Dall'App desktop risulto loggato correttamente all'account, lo stesso dal programma Photoshop ma sul web risulta esserci un problea con il mio account. Allego qualche screenshot per spiegarmi meglio. Inoltre, in fase di caricamento dell'App Creative Cloud desktop mi riporta un errore con i font. Vorrei capire come poter risolvere il problema, grazie

The Photoshop Express app for iOS is not working properly. It has several issues. To use various tools, it requires a 7-day free trial, but when trying to register, a screen appears that doesn't allow selecting any options. As a result, I can't use the tools, nor can I pay, and I also can't use the 7-day free trial that appears in the window. This error has been ongoing for over a month, and it hasn't been resolved. I recommend making the necessary improvements, as the app is very useful, but being broken, it's forcing users to migrate to other apps. I hope this helps improve the experience.

This was never a problem before Photoshop 25.11, but noe all the thumbnails seems to be empy for me, except once in a while something pops up. Hopefully this gets fixed it makes it confuzing to look for certain layers the way it is now. 

Photoshop wont open. Ive tired uninstalling and reinstalling, I tried opening without pluggins, I tried turning my computer on and off, I have also tired using adobe cloud cleaner. I have had trouble with photoshop  for a while now as occasionally files would glitch out and those glitches would stay on the . A pop up would also appear before photoshop opened saying that the file was corrupted.  What can I do to fix it?

Hi, over the years we've generally found Photoshop to be one of the most stable of all apps we use. But lately, it's been freezing a lot when doing relatively simple editing. We've updated to the very latest version (21.1.2) on a late 2013 Mac Pro with 24GB RAM.    What seems to be causing the freeze is just scrolling around a zoomed-in image when using the spot healing brush tool on grayscale TIF images that aren't overly huge or complex. But this may just be coincidence since it's a pretty common task. But using the space-bar scroll will just suddenly freeze and the image becomes completely unresponsive. Fortunately, I am typically still able to access menus, including 'File/Save'! Sometimes I'm able to just save & re-open the file to get it to work again, other times I must restart PS.   - Is this common?  - Anything we can try to resolove (if clearing prefs, any specific - as they seem to be pretty widespread and in multiple places)?   Seems like this h

So no matter what prompt I do essentially all the options are awful. I am wondering what on earth is happening with Generative Fill. Generative Expand mostly serves its function as expected for outdoor scenes but it's still doing really weird stuff for anything that isn't a natural structure. It was this bad when it first started, then it got better, and now... what on earth is going on?

My query to Apple support... When I want to open a .CR2 image file with photoshop, I right click on the file, select open with, then click on 'photoshop.app' in the list. I have upgraded my camera and now shoot CR3 files. When I try to do the same with CR3 image files, photoshop in not in the list of applicable apps? I can open the file with photoshop by selecting 'Other' and finding photoshop in my applications folder, but this is a bit inefficient. I could go into CR3 file info and set the default 'open with' to photoshop and select 'change all' but I prefer to keep this option set to the preview app. How can I add the photoshop app to the 'open with' pull down list for CR3's as it appears for CR2's please ?  Apple support response... You can't edit the Open With list, it is created by the system by polling all your installed applications for their list of files that they can open. Just noticed that the options provided in the iPad photoshop for exporting image to highest quality/filesize vs lowest file size the texts are showing fastest for large files and slowest for small file. Please correct 👍  

Hi, guys. You're the company that makes Illustrator so I was quite shocked you got this wrong in Photoshop CS6 strokes. If I don't close a path, I don't want a stroke drawn between the two open ends, yet it draws one. Fill: sure, I can turn that off. But stroke: no. Please consider fixing this. It's really hard to create basic vector elements when the stroke can't handle something so basic.

Hallo, seit dem Update auf PS 25.11.0 funktioniert die Funktion Auswahl - Motiv nicht mehr richtig. Statt des eindeutig zu erkennenden Motivs (Freigestellt vor Hintergrud) werden scheinbar zufällige Bereiche des Hintergrundes markiert. Gibt es hier eine Lösung?

Save for web does not work after the update. It only works on the first opened/created document. If I open/create a new document, the Save for web window does not open. I have to close photoshop and start again. But again it only works for the first opened/created document.

[PHOTOSHOP 2024, Windows 11 Home] Hi, I seem to be missing some of the brush shapes I could normally see in the "General" group.Few days ago I was able to see and use it (the example of shape attached), but can't see it now when looking for it in the "General" (attached).Could I mess up something in settings? I've tried restoring the tool to defaults, but ofc it didn't help, just like any other solution I could either come up with or find in the Internet.
