Almost every time I use Image>Trim, Photoshop crashes or tells me "One or more selections cannot be exported because they are empty." When it crashed it will either stop responding or will not render properly by the GPU and will look like the attached screenshot. I am using Windows 10.
Using the Photoshop 23.1.1 Release I can not get a specific look file (Crisp_Winter.look) to display correctly When selecting color lookup Then trying to load the 3DLUT File from the pull down menu When selecting the option Crisp_Winter.look the image turns black This is not suposed to happen, however the other look files work as expected I've check the location: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\Presets\3DLUTs And the file exist. This has worked in the past and I really need this look Can anyone help or suggest a workaround?
For the last six months (or so) the name of the Current Tool can take 5-10 seconds to display in the status bar (lower left). I'm a heavy keyboard user, so J, S, U, E get used a lot. The tool function changes quickly (as seen in the Tool pallette) but the current name display takes several seconds. This becomes a problem with keys such as J which has at least four tools - yes, I use all of them. Say I move between Clone Stamp, Eraser and Blur, then come back to "J" - I may not remember which tool I used last and may wait 5-10 secs before the name appears. My workflow has been the same for many years as have my settings (below). Could PS have changed something in an update in the last few months? Using GFX processor w/ all 4 options ticked PS can use 70% of RAM (8,436 MB) 60 history states; 6 cache levels; tile size 1024 k Yes, I always update PS with the latest and greatest Running Windows 10 Home, 64 bit, always updated Hoping to hear it's a known issue and Adobe is working on it. In my workflow I have to open pdf files in Photoshop. When the popup window asks a spec for size and resolution it always used to keep whichever colour MODE was last used.Since a recent update it now seems to choose one completely at random - regardless of whether the pdf is RGB or CMYK or Grayscale.I ALWAYS need to open these in CMYK Mode (that is, in fact, the point of the exercise). Why does it go to a random choice? Why has it changed from holding its previous value.Resolution holds its previous value - please correct the Mode to do the same, just as it always used to.
After opening any file sometimes crash, if not then it crashes after any operation, for example changing color on a simple text layer.
From today I cant just drop and drag my AI artwork to a Photoshop, neither just copy and paste as Smart Object turn PS into the long loading and then this message appears: Could not complete the Paste command because the clipboard data is empty or invalid.Until yesterday it works well everyday, I suspect the last update was break it. Im running Adobe CC (latest) on M1 Macbook Pro 13, 16GB
Photoshop does not provide a method to disable neural filters. I have some problem of stability I isolated everything but network. Photoshop (all version) constantly freezing with W... - Adobe Support Community - 12826935 I observed photoshop constantly communicating with amazonaws, I am pretty sure that it got stuck because some firewall setup on the main server that prevent an anwser from the outside that should trigger some whateve event. I don't use neurfal filters and therfore I do not need them, I do not want constantly photoshop sending telemetry to whateve who knows, without my consent. Please provide a method to disable neural filters and-opt out telemetry. Thanks
Photoshop entra en conflicto con el historial de portapapeles de Windows 10 al tratar de pegar una imagen, solo pega la última que se copió. _________________ Photoshop conflicts with Windows 10 clipboard history when trying to paste an image, it only pastes the last one copied.
I've been dealing with this problem, I think for years before I'm finally mentioning it. Basically, a couple years ago, Photoshop developed a slight delay when I begin to zoom, or pan. It's very slight. Maybe most people wouldn't worry about it but here is the problem that it causes. When doing things like digital painting, I'm working very quickly. I pan, paint, zoom, paint, rotate screen, paint, pan, erase, etc. All of this with a great fluidity, as long as the system is keeping up. In Photoshop, I paint, pan....it didn't actually pan but I went ahead and painted a stroke. There's a pause as Photoshop thinks, or tries to catch up then suddenly it makes a paint stroke, but it missed the pan movement. I zoom then paint but it skipped the zoom and makes a paint stroke in the wrong place. It missed the rotate and caught up with the erase so it erased in the wrong place. The cure for all of this for me has been to actually work more sl

I just upgraded from Photoshop CC 2019 to Photoshop 2021, and I found a bug. When you hit Command-Option-0, the image should zoom to 100% and resize the window so the entire image is visible (unless the image is so large that it can't be contained on the monitor), regardless of the current magnification. If your image is zoomed to 100% but 1) the window is larger than the image so that the Artboard shows, or 2) the window is smaller than the image so that scrollbars are present, Photoshop does nothing. In the example below, all three situations should result in the same thing; instead, only the bottom situation works properly. Please fix this.

This has been going on for a couple months now. Ive even tried installing older versions of Photoshop and I get the same issue. This also happens all the time. When I go to Image Size and try to edit the size or resolution then click OK, everything freezes then I get the crash dialog box. I now have to go to another computer wheneven I need to use that option. I keep expecting for the updates to fix it but it hasnt happened yet. Does anyone else have this issue?
Hey! It happened few days ago: I turned my Photoshop on, launched the Libraries, added something and... instead of a regular asset preview image I saw a default thumbnail icon, like this: Few additional notes: Turning Photoshop/computer on/off doesn't help, Reinstalling Photoshop (both soft and hard, with all the settings removal) doesn't help, I'm sharing this library with someone else - when he is uploading something, it works fine, the thumbnails look correct on my side; also, when I'm sharing something, it looks correct on his side. If I'm dragging something from the layers palette or from the Photoshop canvas into library, the thumbnail is wrong (default), when dragging from outside the Photoshop (file explorer) directly to Libraries, it works correctly. Web view (in a browser, under the link you can get via "get link...") is correct, all the thumbnails show an actual design. I din't reinstall an entire CC app yet since I want
I've just upgraded my 2018 Mac Mini to macOS monterey. Now whenever i open a 32bit exr image it shows extreme banding. It happens on Photoshop 2021 and 2022. If i disable the advanced graphics all banding goes away, however it is extremely buggy with the advanced graphics turned off. Layer masks often show incorrectly when at different zoom levels with big squires either showing as white or black. The transform handles don't show up unless i zoom out and in again, the heal tool workings just downt show at, doesn't go dark grey, if i zoom out and in again it suddenly fixes it. Where is the bug? In Monterey GPU drivers or within photoshop?
As has been reported previously, a problem confined only to macOS Catalina, where Save for Web highlights the whole file name plus extension in the save for web dialog is now an issue on macOS Mojave as well with the new photoshop 2020 (ps ver 22.0). https://feedback.photoshop.com/conversations/photoshop/photoshop-file-name-and-extension-highlight-when-saving-on-macos-1015-catalina/5f5f460f4b561a3d427139dd The save for web dialog is only supposed to highlight the file name so when a user changes the name the extension stays the same. However, when the file name plus extension is highlighted, changing the file name deletes the extension rendering the file unusable in such places as this very forum.
Hi, I have come across a very annoying bug within Photoshop CC. I previously had Photoshop CC (23.1.1 and older) version installed. Suddenly, my list of favorite fonts is empty and have all magically disappeared. Upon reselecting my favorite fonts list and manually adding them back one by one, Photoshop CC will not save this list upon closing the application. I have tried updating Photoshop CC and even installed the latest version (23.2.2), manually selected my favorite fonts again, but unfortunately my list keeps dissapearing and it simply will not save. I have no clue as to why this is happening.. Upon researching the Adobe Support Community I came across multiple reports of other users experiencing the same bug: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-fonts-discussions/all-favorited-fonts-suddenly-missing/td-p/12348828 https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/favorite-fonts-list-not-saving-photoshop-cc-2018/m-p/9766276#M159181
Hi! I have been using Photoshop a lot to create animations recently and more than half of my time is used to manipulate the timeline instead of drawing... Goal to acheive: I want to paste an image (a layer) to a specific position in the the timeline but it is impossible! Every time I copy and paste an image it goes back to the begeining of the animation. Than I have to move the image to the specific position manually... It takes a lot of time to do that. It would make my workflow 100% faster if I could paste where I position the ready "head"Please look at the attached video. Can someone let me know if this is possible? Thanks
Hi! For many years and PS-versions (even with complete new re-installs / new hardware) I've had this issue with push left tool. Today, just after I made a post about this in the forums, I thought that maybe the area I select to liquify has something to do with it. And it might just be something. Scenario 1: Rectangular selection "landscape"When pushing pixels from side to side (moving the cursor up and down) it works fine. But when I try to push pixels up and down (moving cursor from side to side) there is only a small change. Scenario 2: Rectangular selection "portrait"When pushing pixels from side to side (moving the cursor up and down) only a small change is made. But when I try to push pixels up and down (moving cursor from side to side) it works fine. Scenario 3: Square selectionThe push left tool seems to work and equal amount up/down and left/right.Thanks!// Magnus
Getting random weird vertical lines on Apple m1 pro with Photoshop 23.0 and 22.5.2 Goes away when "Use Graphic Processor" or "open CL" turned off, but operation becomes extremely slow. Can anyone Please help?
Nothing will enable it to run, uninstal and reinstall with no plugins, running on Mac OS 12.2.1. Previous version installed and runs perfectly.
All of a sudden, I am getting the following error when opening a new or old file: "Sorry, Photoshop has encountered an error and needs to close" The program is up to date and other Adobe products are working fine. I have WINDOWS 10 as wel. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to fix would be greatly appreciated!

For the last couple of years there is a tiny but annoying bug in the save dialog. When it first appeared some time ago I kept waiting for it to be fixed but to no avail. I always use the current version of Photoshop, and it has been present for I think the last year or two on macOS (Also always latest). Prerequisite: I have 'Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls' checked in macOS System Prefs>Keyboard>Shortcuts for rapidly interacting with dialogs throughout macOS Have an open file in Photoshop with unsaved changes Prior to this bug the behaviour of Photoshop (and this is how most other programs on Mac OS work) was as follows: Expected Result: [Cmd + W] to initiate the close dialog, then either: [Space] to choose Save as it is already selected [Tab] to switch to Don't Save, then [Space] to choose Actual Result: [Cmd + W] to initial the close dialog, then either: [Space] to select Save (fine) The first [Tab] selects Save
I have been using the Silverfast Ai 8.8 scanner plugin with Photoshop CC for some years. It was an expensive piece of Software but it worked ok to begin with. Since PS CC 2017 it has exhibited a problem that still exists even using the latest version of PS. If I use the PS plugin to carry out a normal scan using 'Import from Silverfast', it works fine. However if I quit the Silverfast application (without scanning) and then try to exit Photoshop, Photoshop reports an unhandled exception message:-"Could not complete your request because of a program error".Once this happens, the only way to exit Photoshop is to kill the process from Task Manager. I'm guessing this may be some sort of file permission or memory access problem. The problem happens in several versions of PS CC I have tried including the latest 2021 versions. However, it does not happen if I go right back to PS versions before PS CC 2017. That suggests there was a PS change in 2017 that introduced this problem. &
