Bug Reports

New 64 bit droplets are not working in macOS Catalina and Photoshop 20.0.6. When I save a droplet, it's showing an incorrect modification date and time in the Finder of Aug 13, 2019 at 11:56pm. Droplets open but do not complete any actions or give any errors, they just don't run.

Photoshop 21.0.3 on Mac OS 10.15.3Under certain free transform conditions a Warp is introduced without user input. 1) the original free transform 2) when the lowermost point is moved further down the upper left side gets unwarrantedly warped3) this warp is also visible when switching to warpThe file is available for testing here: https://transfer.viennapaint.com/index.php/s/ozy5SpRnf2i2iWHIf anyone takes the time please let me know if you get similar unintended results. Regards, Pfaffenbichler

When opening photoshop file in photoshop 2020, empty debug.log is created in the same path. Annoying. Anyone working on that issue?

Yes, I'm using the latest PS CC 2018 and the most up-to-date Win10.Adobe Photoshop Version: 19.1.2 20180302.r.277 2018/03/02: 1160083  x64Operating System: Windows 10 64-bitVersion: 10 or greater 10.0.16299.15System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:12, Stepping:2 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, HyperThreadingPhysical processor count: 6Logical processor count: 12Processor speed: 3331 MHzBuilt-in memory: 24574 MBFree memory: 10855 MBMemory available to Photoshop: 21907 MBMemory used by Photoshop: 70 %I'm not using the print option in PS very often, but only every 10 days or so. So I don't know exactly with which update this issue was introduced... But about 4 weeks ago, everything worked just fine and since the latest 19.x updates it got screwed somewhere. What happens?Open a file, you can edit, create layers, zoom, modify, brush, whatever you want, everything works smoothly. Small files, large files, all kinds of formats (JPEG, TIFF, etc.) no proble

Photoshop up to date, yet the Vanishing Point interface is ridiculously slow and laggy when panning and zooming.  Extending and resizing the perspective planes is not quick and responsive - there's a lot of drag .. wait ...adjust ... wait...   And Alt-Tabbing out of and back into Photoshop changes the tool selected in Vanishing Point back to the Grid if previously on Clone.  Clicking starts producing another grid until one realizes that you need to RE-select the tool you WERE using prior.   And there's no warning dialog ("I see you've done a lot of grid making and painting - are you SURE you meant to hit Escape?") when closing out the Vanishing Point interface by accident.   And you can't PAN when the image is at 100% or smaller .. which is helpful when you want to manipulate grids that extend beyond the canvas.

When I want to export as SVG, some black holes appear on my shape. It is visible on the image below. [Product: Adobe Photoshop 2020]

In the CS5.5 Shadow/Highlights adjustment pane, if you tab down to the adjustments to Color correction and/or Midtone Contrast, then type in a number, it enters the digits right-to-left, not left to right. e.g. Tab, tab, tab, tab, tab, tab 1, 2..yields a Color Correction of 21, not 12.

When the German edition is executing a fill pattern script, it does not recognize script files whose names start with the underline character, n particular, I wrote scripts a few years ago, put them in the Marketplace, and last week got a complaint from a Swiss/German user that my trial file didn't work. That script contains the line:   Engine.evalFile ("_Deco_for_Wallpaper2.jsxbin")   which causes an error that the German edition does not find the _Deco file, even though it is in his directory in the proper location.

Latest update (21.2.3) fixed pen pressure issues but now after painting a few brush strokes the pen stops working at all or pressure stops working until I click with my mouse on the screen of my tablet, then same thing happens again and again.  WIN 10 intel i7 and CINTIQ DTH-1300 tested with windows ink off and on and with and without graphics proccesor selected on performance. This doesn´t happen with other software.-

Moving the "Layer Opacity" slider (AND/OR while pressing on "opacity" and moving the cursor) does not affect the image as you go. Instead, it waits until you let go of the cursor (i.e, set a value) and only then it will render the resulting image. Win 10 64-bit

Our company relies upon a number of batch operation scripts (.jsx). The most recent update (PS 21.0.1) breaks a very convenient feature. What we want fixed- Run an action via keyboard shortcut from the home screen of Photoshop (no documents open). [1 user operation]What we're dealing with- The action needs to be run via the menu (File > Scripts > Browse > Find Script)  [4+ user operations]- Open a document, then use the keyboard shortcut (this doesn't work for batch operations unless the script is altered to close the active document before running)

I've just discovered that the fix doesn't apply to Frames. Copy a framed image from one document and paste-in-place into another and the offset is wildly wrong. That's with selecting the frame to copy. Selecting the image rather than the frame and then pasting into a new document does paste the image with correct offsets, but of course it's no longer framed.Photoshop 21.1.1, MacOS 10.13.6Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Photoshop: Paste in place shifting error.

In Photoshop CC and CS6 (only if latest update has been applied, apparently), mouse clicks on the canvas area (*not in menus or palettes*) are lagged after using a Wacom tablet. Detailed explanation: • When starting Photoshop, mouse works okay. Then, if I switch to my Intuos Pro (latest drivers), everything is fine too. • But here comes the problem: when I switch back to the mouse, the very first mouse click (after switching from tablet) is NOT lagged, but the rest from then on, ARE. • If the switch from tablet to mouse is done very quickly (clicking on canvas or ruler area with the pen while swiftly clicking with the mouse), then the lag does not happen. • Closing Photoshop and re-opening it gets rid of the lag, until the tablet is used (then the problem starts again when switching to the mouse). This problem has been debated here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5768548 It has also been repeteadly reported to Wacom, who have not acknowledged or denied the problem: http://forum.wacom.

Whenever I tried to Window->Arrange ... to put my reference photo side by side, 6 times out of 10 the zoom function stop working properly and I have to close photoshop and re-opened it again. It is a very annoying bug.

When right clicking in canvas with brush tool selected, it opens the brush panel and closes it immediately. I have to right click another time to make it stay open. EXTREMELY annoying.

Batch converting PDF or AI files causes the same name to be used when saving the files resulting in only one file. Here is a video showing the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Su8idv... The problem is that Photoshop is taking the "Name" field from the PDF Import dialog and saving it as part of the action. This cannot be overridden even within the Batch Dialog.

Incorrect cropping of "Define Pattern" in 32-bit mode in some cases. Reproduce steps: - Create a new 32-bit image with size 32x32px. - Fill it white. - Select the right-most pixel column (x = 31, y = 0..31) and the botto-most row (y = 31, x = 0..31) and fill them black. - Select everything (32x32) with the selection tools. - Edit > Define Pattern: Expected: I see a 32x32 pattern in the preview. Actual: I see a cropped 1x32px pattern which isn't what I selected.

So, I have this PSD file with animation in a timeline, I was able to render as a video, but not as GIF, not in Save for Web, Quick Export GIF or even Export As. In all of that options the program exports the static frame selected at the moment. When using the Save for Web, even in the preview mode, the GIF does not move, it is there, still. But the rendered video and the playback at timeline work smoothly.I know I'm in a really old machine, a MacBook Pro Mid 2009, with El Capitan 10.11.6 and using the Photoshop CC 19.1.9, BUT I have a similar file that is working just fine.Someone has a light to give me on this?

Did a ton of work with actions lately and ran into around 4 cases of weirdness in PS CC 2017.One bug I forgot, but this one I tested and is also in 2020.When a layer is inside a folder and you move its mask to the folder instead, the mask is moved. If you play the recorded action, the mask is moved *and* leaves the original. (This can lead to actions breaking and I have to solve it with a script to make sure.)- - -2 other things I got which may be due to a damaged file...(1) one action was impossible to record as a called sub action (I made a new one and moved its steps into it, which solved it)(2) still, that same action -- when called after a Stop at the end of a huge action -- played alright but the selection didn't move to the next step. So when pressing 'Continue' it executes that action again (and again). I'll try re-recording the whole action for this one.I wish I remembered the fourth and more important one...

I'm using a Moab paper with its factory profile on an Epson SureColor 800. When I print with PS, the images come out with a pinkish/reddish tint, even though the preview looks fine. The same image printed with Epson's print layout software has perfect color, but adds a margin by defaul that I don't want and can't remove. So I would rather print from PS. All printer inks are nearly full. Any suggestions?

After updating to 21.1.0 this morning, all my brushes with "Build-Up" selected leave a splotch at the beginning of strokes. Toggling Build-Up to off will stop the behavior, but I have dozens of brush presets with this setting on, and I prefer the brush behavior with it on. Using a Wacom Intuos Pro. Rulers are off, and I have not had any issues previous to updating.

Hi, I'm having a problem since updating to cc 2019, when I try to start photoshop it just freezes on the loading screen saying "Adding Extension....Halide Bottlenecks" and stops responding, but if I wait about 10-15mins it goes past that and photoshop starts.I have already tried disabling this extension, reset my preferences, but nothing seems to workPlease help

When saving files from Photoshop 2020, file permissions are not set correctly. They are usually set to 774, but are being set to 600. So, it sets the user to read/write, and no permissions for anyone else. This causes huge issues, as we have limited ability to change permissions on our Macs at work. Running Photoshop 21.0.1 on MacOS High Sierra (10.13.6) on a 2013 Mac Pro. This happens whether a file is saved to the desktop or our network. This was not an issue with Photoshop 2019.

I keep all my objects as a smart objects in PSD files, and when I need to change something, I go inside smart object and make changes. After latest update to 21.1.1 I noticed that if I go inside smart object, remove mask and "Revel All" to have original image without mask, it changes the size of canvas and smart object image becomes bigger in canvas size, after saving smart object in my original image brake the aspect ratio, looks like instead of changing canvas size of smart object it fit the new image inside same size. I hope I explained clearly.I attach an image to show what I mean:
