I was attempting to type the word "different" in a text box, but as soon as I typed the second "f," the entire text vanished from the box. Even just typing "ff" caused the text to disappear, although it was still visible in the essential graphic. Please advise and thanks
I recently bought Creative Cloud and installed it on a PC that I formatted, the tutorials don't appear in any app i chooseSome tutorials appear on the search box, but when i try to load any, a red message saying"unknown tutorial" appears. How can I solve it?
Dear Community,I work with Permiere Pro 2024 on a MacBook Pro 2021 with an M1 Max Chip and 64 GB RAM.For a few days now Premiere wont stop generating peak files over and over again in old and new projects. It generates peak files for the same video files over and over again and therefore renders itself useless since it completely slows itself down doing this.In the Folder where the files are stored I now see up to 12 .pek-Files (as shown on the screenshot) and the number is still increasing. Did anyone have the same problem or is this the final sign to jump ship and start using Davici 😄
Premiere 23.0After Effects 23.1 When using dynamic link the color in my footage changes, everything is set correctly within the color space options to my knowledge they're all in rec 709 everywhere where a color space option is available, shown in my image down below. I'm pretty sure this footage was shot on a Samsung phone however I've had this exact same issue with Apple phones too. I've had this issue for a long time it's not something new or exclusive to this set of footage or these versions of software. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
In my facility we have a number of PCs that are running Premiere 2024 and Black Magic desktop 12.7.1. We have been encountering a bug that only happens when transmit is enabled. With transmit enabled, Premiere will randomly, yet consistently, stop playing video in the program monitor, view and external display. We can move clips around, drag the play head, but no video will update. The only way to get video to play again is to reboot Premiere.Premiere Pro 24.0.0BMD Desktop Video 12.7.1Microsoft Windows 11 ProHP Z4 G4 Workstationi9-10900X CPU @ 3.70GHz, 3696 Mhz, 10 Core(s)Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 128 GBNVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Jeffrey Di LulloLead Content CreatorLCBC Church
Hi, ISSUEWhen I set the "Audio Transition Default Duration" to 0.01 seconds, and then select an audio clip and apply the default transition, it applies 0.02 seconds instead of 0.01 seconds. And when I check the settings, it's still set to the 0.01 seconds that I applied. THE PROCESS Premiere Pro > Settings > Timeline... > "Audio Transition Default Duration:" [0.01] > "ok"Then I select an audio clip and use the shortcut key to "Apply Audio Transition"The result is a transtion with .02 seconds instead of .01, which I then have to manually drag to manually shorten. THE GOALI would like to be able to apply the defualt audio transition duration of 0.01 with the shortcut key, instead of having to adjust it manually every time. I'd also like default to be consisten with the default I set. Also, aside from the shortcut key to apply the default audio transition, is there a shortcut key to REMOVE the default audio transition?&nbs
We have started using adobe productions at my office. I've come across a bug that I can only seem to replicate on my machine. When expanding folders at the root production tab, if I go into a subfolder and try to click a project, it will usually close the folders. Sometimes even making entire folders disappear for a few seconds before reappearing. (almost as if its refreshing from the server)So far nobody else has experienced this issue, my workaround is just trying to again, and hoping to double click that project quickly. So far I have had IT, reinstall 24.4.1 premiere, and now I've rolled back to 24.3.0 but the issue still persists.I'm using the latest version of Jump to login to my work computer.24.4.1 Build 2 Adobe PremiereMac Studio - Apple M1 Max, 64 GBOS Sonoma 14.5I have included a clip with 2 examples of it closing the folders without clicking anything.
Bleeping for curses and overwriting track 1 audio with tones. Sporadically the tones audio is not playing and instead is muted. All tracks are fine, nothing is muted or solo'd and all equipment is working properly. This is occuring over multiple projects and machines.
Hi! I having a especific error what i thinks it's not normal, so i reporting this as a bug/error Here is the video of that bug https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BP947l1x7EE Let me explain whats happening: In a normal video, i'm using a background image with a video/image in minor scale on top. A basic thing. All my actual projects is in 1920x1080. So what happen when i put another media with a bigger resolution (the media in example is 1440p) and this media has active the "Scale from frame size" when i reopen the project, the layers below just turned black. I tried clean the media cache, reset the preferences, the workspaces, changing video coded/format i using to inserts in my videos, updating my setup, switching the version of Premiere, not using multicam (going against my workflow) and nothing helps, so i think this is a issue to adress here. Another infos Version: 24.5.0 (Build 57) Operating system: Windows 10 System Info: CPU -
Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but the Lumetri Color effect no longer works inside an adjustment layer. I've edited multiple social videos since the last update, and this is the first time this has ever been an issue. The effect works directly on the clip, but not when I place the effect in the adjustment layer. It was working fine just 2 days ago. This is extremely frustrating to say the least. I'm using a Mac Mini 2023 M2 Pro on Sonoma 14.6.1

Hi, When changing the metadata display in the project tab, the display sometimes glitches like this. It's already the second or third time it has happened to me, and I've only been using Premiere for a few days. Instead, the display should contain only one text per field. Is that caused by the fact that there are too many rows (22)? Thank You. Mod note: Edited for content. The title was changed slightly.
Literally every playback I do on Premiere Pro the audio keeps cutting out. And yes I have read previous discussion posts on this, the disturbingly large number of them (so don;t pretend this is new Adobe), and yes I have tried all the suggestions (wav files, sequence setting, my PC is pretty high spec, clear the media cache files (which I do every bloody time) etc etc) but PPro, brilliant that it is with visuals, highly impressed, is sadky f-ing useless with Audio. I pay a lot of money for my licence, I expect better and for this software I shouldn't have to be doing a long list of workarounds and checks (which dont work anyway), it should be f-ing work with the basic task of playing audio. I don't get it, the audio files are the smallest size of the files added to a segment, so you'd think it was the one thing it would play back, or could be set to play back, ok?. I try to line up stuff in the editing and can't because it constantly cuts out. I have seen loads of posts about this why
I am on Windows 11 23H2 and Premiere Pro 24.0. The issue I am battling is with Project Manager. I used to have no issues with project archive on Premiere Elements, but Project Manager I have nothing but issues. I am also bringing you this as a senior Android Dev who has written and maintains a video editor for a client on Android using the latest ExoPlayer. The inffeciency and confusion here is baffling to me as a user and a dev. So to start, Project Manager opens in a dialog, then Project Manager Progress opens it's own dialog with the most useless information possible there. Any error message propegating are in the views below apparently because they don't actually alert you until it is done or you hit cancel and the progress dialog goes away. This makes no sense because it is slow anyway, so if it locks up and you don't know there is an error, you are just wasting time. As for the progress dialog, it's not that hard to monitor pro
When re-linking to multiple clips that share the same tape name (but have unique timecodes), Premiere will link all master clips to the initially linked media file regardless of timecode. Once the re-link attempts reaches a clip with a new Tape Name, the re-link process is as expected and links via Tape Name and Timecode.Process1. Import ALE with multiple master clips sharing the same Tape Name, but unique Timecode. Note the timecodes after import.2. Select all master clips and shoose Link Media.3. Select the first clip and locate the proper media file and submit.4. Check timecode of all linked media. They should all be the same and point to the same content.Solution1. Hi everyone,I use just under 60 saved templates for my edits in the funeral livestreaming industry. My PC:Win 11 ProProcessor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900 2.40 GHzInstalled RAM 64.0 GB (63.8 GB usable)Device ID 2ABDF58E-A104-46BB-8B8C-80F995E8321FProduct ID 00330-80135-47875-AA118System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorPen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display Issue:As of approximately two to three updates ago, my templates won't remember their bin settings, which are very specific. I have reported this on a forum before, but not as a bug.Two bins are in List View Ascending Order, Project and one other, but often appear as Icon View Sort by User Order when the template is re-opened.Four bins are saved in Icon View, Sort by Label, but invariably open in List View, Descending Order.Resetting these bins every time I open a template wastes considerable time in the edit setup. My process is: Copy/paste a template from its folder to a new job
I am an editor for Twitch Streamers. I download content off Twitch for all of them. On ONE creator's content for some reason, I am getting a constant error between the graphics text tool and the crop video effect leading to hundreds -> THOUSANDS of low level exceptions. Upon updating Adobe Premiere past 24.5 to 24.6.1, even having text in the same sequence auto crashes Premiere. The report can't even be opened through Acrobat. So I downgraded back to 24.5 and it works, the text is writable and the content exportable, but it still pours out low level exception errors with every letter typed.Sequence is in portrait 1080x1920 for shorts platforms like TikTok60 FPSAdobe Premiere Version 24.5 = Low Level Exception occured in: Crop (AEVideoFilter:11)Adobe Premiere Version 24.6.1 = IMMEDIATE program crashComputer Specs:GPU - ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 TrinityCPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHzRAM - 4x16GB G.Skill TridentZ (Total = 64GB)PSU - ASUS ROG STRIX
I have been using a free trial of Premiere Pro (on my macbook pro) for a University project, but due to it crashing every few days my project is still not done and the free trial has ended. While using Premiere Pro, I have been getting bombarded with multiple error messages. When this happens, a few clips freeze on a random frame (or turn black) and don't play. I don't think it's an issue with rendering, as the clips also stop playing outside of the timeline. Although the video clips in question play completely fine outside of Premiere Pro, when I have imported the same videos again, the same thing happens to them. After importing them again but from a different source, I managed to replace the faulty clips and carry on. However, the same thing has happened again. Does anyone know what might be the issue? Thanks
When I create a new project in the production panel, it does not show up unless I close and reopen Premiere. When I change an exisiting project name, it also does not appear in the production panel. These changes do appear on the finder level. Steps to reproduce: Right-click folder in production panelClick "New Project"Name project, add items*, save project Close project Result: New project does not appear in production panel.Expected: New project visible in production panel.*Not adding items has the same result. The project is on Lucid. I'm using the public release of Premiere v24.5.0 (Build 57)OS: macOS v14.5.0
Hello,I am developing a third-party plugin for Adobe Premiere, which includes buttons meant to perform simple actions. The buttons are displayed correctly in the interface, but they are not responding when clicked.I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me troubleshoot this issue or check the plugin's compatibility with Adobe Premiere. I have uploaded the plugin files to a shared Google Drive folder, which can be accessed here:Google Drive FolderThank you for your time and support. I look forward to your response.https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BIiv9xu7XHi9DcU7s48VurruUTMnPEoo?usp=sharing
See attached video. Editing captions like alphabetizing a character reslults in the preceeding and succeeding text to be deleted and replaced with a [...] placeholder which denotes a silence gap. This is incorrect, instead what should happen is nothing except having the character be alphabetized as in the video, or in other case, it should result in the text being corrected, like when I added a comma to correct grammar, the same thing as the video attached happened. To me, this is not a Discusison or an Idea, it is a Bug. It is a bug because the functionality is flawed, and undoes actual work, and creates more problems, not allowing correcting to happen.24.6.1 (Build 2)Win 11Steps to reproduce: Just correct something, in my case, neste comps of videos, in a timeline, go into each comp to click transcribe, return to main timeline to correct one small thing. The issue is when videos are nested with cuts, the parent/main timeline strugglesExpected result should be corr
Hi, I'm brand new to premiere pro, I just downloaded it today. When the program downloaded, it downloaded the newest version which is 24.6.1 however it keeps crashing on me. I have tried everything that was recommended online to prevent the program from crashing, yet the issue still keeps happening. The Adobe Creative cloud diagnostics keeps suggesting to "update the app to 24.6.1" but it's already on 24.6.1?! I have no idea what to do. Please help!
