Am I the only one experiencing this!? Whenever I import footage, whether it be from my Panasonic cameras, or Sony (Vlog and Slog) there always seems to be an issue with color loss. 9/10 times its in the skin tones. I bring this same footage into DaVinci Resolve and there's no issue. Proof that it's an Adobe premiere problem. See below photo for reference.
I'm usually working with 4k+ footage so in order to match the source resolution, I have also created all motion graphics comps in AE in the same resolution. It all works without issue when rendering everything in AE to ProRes files and working with those in Premiere. However, when working with dynamic link clips instead, I get extremely poor scaling results when exporting in 1080p (see attached screenshots). My current workaround is exporting my Premiere Sequences in full res first (that works fine with dynamic link) and then converting my full res exports to HD later. But with a fast turnaround for client feedback, these extra steps get annoying quickly. Shouldn't dynamic link clips be able to be downscaled to HD with the same quality as it would when rendering those comps in HD from AE directly? I'm working on the newest Version of both Premiere Pro and AE and I've tested this on both an iMac Pro and an M1 Macbook.
Edit lab in classroom, was fine last year. Anybody got a fix?Plays back fine in raw clips before importing into Premiere. Running Premiere 24.6.1 Thanks,Neal
I was frustrated with Premiere Pro jumping around my sequence and realized last week why it was happening. If you search the transcript for a word in a clip, that search will persist when you switch to looking at your sequence if you keep the text panel open. Once at the sequence, the playhead will jump to the incidence of that word, and will continue doing so until you clear your text search or close the text window, even as you are editing, trimming clips, etc. Expected behavior for me would be that the search persists only in the clip I was originally searching. That should mostly solve the problem, though people will still need to clear their search string from the text panel if they are searching within their sequence, or else it will create chaos during editing. I’m experiencing syncing problems in Premiere Pro, the latest version, running on Mac OS. I think it had something to do with the Syncmap XML exported from Tentacle Sync, but I’m not sure what causes the problem. I have a syncmap sequence imported from the Tentacle Sync XML with 2 camera and 1 (multichannel) audio tracks. I am trying to select a few parts from those tracks and copying them into a new timeline. So far so good. But when I close the project and re-open, the video and audio tracks have ‘danger stripes’ in them. Making them offline and relinking doesn’t seem to do the trick. The syncmap sequence is still fine. The problem is project related and not computer related, as I tried opening the project on other devices. So that’s why I think it should be something with the syncmap. Does someone know what is happening? Let me know if more information is needed!
I have tried updating my Mac's operating system to both macOS Monterey and macOS Ventura so that I can update my Premiere Pro to 2024 however I am getting the same issue. The main issue is that I cannot view any files withtin the programme, all I'm getting is gren glitchy screens which you can see below: After Effects seem to be working fine on Ventura but I was still having issues with the Media Encoder but now the system is on Monterey the AE programme is also having issues. For reference these are the Mac details for graphic card etc. as far as I can see I have enough at 4GB Any help would be highly appreciated!
Hi there! I am working in a team using a linked AE comp for a lower third. This is used on various iMacs and an Apple M1 Max Studio in Premiere 24.6.1 and After Effects 24.6.2. This AE comp is duplicated with different part numbers written in (Part 1 of 4, etc.), and used in multiple sequences. Recently we've enountered a bug where one instance of this AE comp is linking to a duplicate of the same comp, where the part number will flicker from one number to another during playback. So in a sequence where the lower third is supposed to say "Part 1 of 4", the "1" is flickering to "2" in different frames, which will be typed in a duplicate of the same AE comp. Sometimes playback will look correct in project, and then the bug only appear in export, but sometimes it is also visible in project. We have tested deleting media cache and render files, and deleting the assets in the project and freshly re-importing them. When re-importing the AE comp, the edited text works fine
Anyone else having this issue? I bought a refurbished Macbook M2 pro 16gb, it came with Ventura. I edited a project on Premiere Pro, was fine. Then it did a force update to 14.6.1 and have had issues ever since. I'm also not sure if I have a lemon of a laptop because I only had it a few weeks so not sure if it's the MacOS or software. I'm having the same issues on Davinci Resolve (I only got DR after updating to 14.6.1 so I don't have a reference before). I had the same spec laptop with a job and it was on Sonoma 14.3, no issues on PP. The project settings are correct and match the clip settings (sony a6700 1080p, h.264, 23.796fps) After 1-15 minutes of editing, the playback will glitch like it's stuck on a loop and won't refresh. The app doesn't crash, I can click on things but the playback stays stuck in a glitchy loop. The color scopes on lumetri has the same issue where it'll flash glitch the same spot over and over. This is the exact same issue on both PP
I am trying to build a plugin with the PremierePro javascript SDK. I want to build a plugin that lets you upload a file. I am reading my file with the code below. However, the the code seems to crash on big files. I am currently trying on a 700mb file. Have you had any luck or related issues in the past? Thanks!code:const fileContent = cep.fs.readFile(filePath, cep.encoding.Base64);This is the error I see:

I'm using a Big Knob Studio together with Premiere Pro 2024 but it won't work. Although using the same Big Knob Studio with Premiere Pro 2023, it all works smooth and fine.Audio hardware settings are the same in PP2023 and PP2024.Anybody any ideas? Thanks and best regards,Dries
Hi, I have a problem that suddenly, from one day to another, the quality of my exported videos are so bad. I have an older version that I exported which looks good and now when I exported a new sequence the video is so blurry and such bad quality. But I haven't done anything different. What can I do? It's quite urgent.
so i am having some problems with premier pro, first of all my RAM was too small on my laptop, then i started using proxys, all was well until just recently when it went back to its orginial laggy and choppy behaviour. The video would give you a better idea, but please advise on what i can do to fix this. Thank you all
Just one example. These are NOT 0.00db. You can "hear" that the EQ is being applied but this is what you see in the individual parameters window or the edit window in effects control.
I have recorded in OBS in the format of fragmented mov and mov, and the encoder is set to pcm_32 and pcm_24. I have played between these settings using mov and pcm, yet whenever I try to import the media file into Premiere Pro, it won't read the other two audio tracks from the three audio tracks that I have.I have tried switching the audio tracks in VLC to see if it's there and they are there. Then I tried to use DaVinci Resolve to see if it can detect the mov file, and luckily it does. Although I had to remux it in order to hear the wav audio file (I also tried importing the remux file on Premiere yet the status quo still remained). I have also checked the existence of the audio tracks in Handbrake. If you have any knowledge on what to do, please let me know.Extra Information:
Esta última atualização deixou o premier muito mais lento, nossa horrível só para inicializar.
Hello, I have Premiere Pro on my PC, but when I launch it, I get the first screen with the woman with pink hair, and then nothing happens. The software stays open in the taskbar, but when I click on it, nothing happens. Thank you in advance for your help 😁
Sometimes, the Program window has this weird color flicker while playing back. It could happen after I launch Premiere or while I am editing. It is normal when paused, but the color flicker comes out when playback. The only way to get rid of the color flick is to restart Premiere Pro, and it will come back out several times a day during the editing. Thanks, everyone. Peace! The last few weeks when I've been using Auto-Match in essential sound, it hasn't been doing its job. It will lower the overall volume of all my selected clips, but not match their loudness at all. Here's an example of a clip that is selected and Auto-Matched, as shown below:Here is a video clip showing that Auto-Matched clip playing:It peaks at -8 near the start but the rest of the clip averages at -19. I thought the purpose of the feature was to close that gap, so this confused me. I checked before and after of what it was doing to the audio and found this.BEFORE AUTO-MATCH: AFTER AUTO-MATCH: It just turned the volume down, and I swear it used to level out the waveforms. Am I going crazy or is this a bug?
I believe I've encountered a bug using the Production workflow. If I create a new bin, I am then unable to rename the Production project file. This is the case when working at the local level, but if I migrate that same project to my Google Drive, I am then able to rename it there. Is this fixable? See below for computer specs, as well as the version of Premiere Pro I am running: Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11370H @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHzInstalled RAM 40.0 GBSystem type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorPremiere Pro Version 24.6.1
I have added several chapter markers to my timeline.I would like to export them (that's what PP Help said to do) and use a 3rd party tool to add them as bookmarks to my MP4, so users can skip to relevant topics while watching the video. However... my Marker Panel is completely blank! I tried switching the type of marker, and the colors in the panel... it's still empty. What should I do?
I've noticed that in the latest version of PP, if you double click a text box with the Type tool and start typing, the keys you select often get used by PP as their assigned shortcuts. EG:Select the type toolDouble click on a text box to start typingThe line shows, showing you that you're now typing in the text boxYet if you click buttons that are assigned to shortcuts, the shortcuts get used. I've noticed this happens if you try and work quickly. It's as if Premiere Pro lags and there's an overlap between Premiere thinking that you're typing (therefore shortcuts that use character keys are disabled), as opposed to not typing (character keys assigned to shortcuts now act as shortcuts). I've had to slow down and add an additional couple of seconds before typing in a text box
IssueWhen attempting to add or update text in a text box in a video (e.g. manually added subtitle text on it's own layer on the timeline), typing desired text results in Adobe Premiere receiving key presses as keyboard shortcuts instead of text to be entered in the selected textbox. The video monitor shows the text box as selected as well as the text within the text box, which is highlighted with a faded red overlay indicating that the text in the text box is selected.
