Camera Raw

The reflection removal tool in Camera Raw was working beautifully until the last Beta update. Now it takes a minute and does...nothing. I've enabled AI technology previews, reinstalled etc, but nothing seems to make any difference.

I am using a DNG file for the first time in ACR. I have created changes using brush masks in ACR which disappear when I use Open to take the amended DNG into PS. I can find no way of transfering the changes made into. Reopening the DNG in ACR shows the masks and the subsequent changes.I have also used the ACR save function and the resultant image doesn't have my changes. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Hi everyone. Not a 'Newbie' but neither a 'hot-shot'.Due to my age, I have passed all my Canon 'stuff' to my youngest son. (5D MkIII / 1DX and a bunch of  'L' glass) and have switched to a Sony Alpha 6400 body and a couple of e-fit Sony lenses which are a physical relief! All that said, I still love the Canon 24-105mm f4 L and use it on the Sony with an EF/E-fit adaptor.My question.Is it possible to / how do I  save the lens profiles in the 'Optics / Profile Corrections' area of ACR when using the Canon lenses and having manually selected them them from the drop-down menus.

I have camera-specific presets in Raw Defaults. Those include Denoise being active.   When I load CR3 files into ACR via Bridge, the Denoise box is checked but it has NOT been calculated or applied. If I drag the slider or type into the amount box or uncheck and recheck Denoise, THEN it is calculated and applied.   There is a visible difference once Denoise runs, no .acr file beforehand, and Denoise takes about 45 seconds per image so its pretty obvious. I recently installed Adobe Bridge 2026 on an iMac. It is a new account, I have no previous purchases or installations of Adobe products on this account or this computer. It says Camera Raw is not enabled when I click on Edit in the Bridge tool bar but when I double click on a raw image, it opens in Camera Raw 17.5.1 and the edits are fully functional. How did Camera Raw get there and will it remain? I repeat, I do not have LR or Photoshop or any other Adobe apps. I checked my account, it does not show any purchases or installations other than Bridge. Is it possible Adobe has included Camera Raw on a trial basis, although that wouldn't make any sense as Camera Raw is not stand alone. Confused!   [Moved from the CC Desktop forum by moderator]

I've updated to Bridge 2026 with ACR 18 on MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1 I can adjust images to HDR just fine as in prior versions (Bridge 2025 and ACR 17), but now when exporting in HDR mode it saves the .avif file in SDR instead.  Tried the following:1) Reverted back to Bridge 2025 and ACR 17. Same result.2) Deleted  ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw as per this discussion: https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-discussions/acr-fails-to-export-avif-hdr-files/td-p/14820248 ; this worked back in 2024 when this bug happened, but not now. Neither in Bridge 2026 nor Bridge 2025 ACR 18.

This is an update to the previous Mac Radeon GPU bug. Just an FYI, I don't realistically expect a solution from either Apple or Adobe. 16" 2019 Intel MacBook ProAMD Radeon Pro 5300M/4GB16GB system RAMTahoe 26.0.1ACR 18.0.0.2389 I am still seeing the intermittent GPU issues that were first reported in macOS Sonoma, where the ACR document window shows distorted or black images of RAW files. It doesn't happen often, but popped up again yesterday when I had four Canon RAW files (2 CR2, 2 CR3) open. The fix is to restart the computer, presumably this is a memory problem in the GPU. Beyond this, Tahoe and Adobe CC are working as expected without major issues. Performance has not changed appreciably from Ventura->Sonoma->Sequoia->Tahoe or with new CC versions.

Constant error, Windows 10, nvisia 3060TX, all drivers updated, can't use the software, have checked the video card out, appears to be working perfectly.

When using camera raw it starts to slow down after editing a couple of images then finally freezes, after restarting raw and photoshop it;s back to working well, then starts to slow down again.I've reset everything,  I think I've done everything that I've found to be suggested, can you help please?

There is a new masking feature in Adobe Camera Raw 18.0 called depth range. It is only supported if the photo contains depth info. What cameras generate raw files that contain depth information?The depth range is greyed  out for raw files from my Nikon Z7II. Lens blur works.

This is in respose to this problem persisting for me. To reproduce:   1) Open an image in ACR. 2) Press the B key to bring up Remove panel (or select from tool bar) 3) Brush over area to be removed 4) Press E key to bring up edit panel (or select from tool bar) 5) Press B key to return to Remove panel (or select from tool bar) 6) Note that pins are not visible. 7) Hover mouse literally over text on panel that says "Show overlay on Hover." 😎 Pins appear 9) Move mouse over other text on Remove panel, and pins disappear. 10) Hover mouse over image, pins now appear. 11) Return to step 4 and the process repeats.Note the ONLY way I can seem to get the pins to show up is if I perform step #7. Photoshop Version: 24.1.1Camera Raw Version: 15.1.1Windows: 10 Home 19044.2486 When you try to use camrea raw filter, it "opens" but the camrea raw filter window does not show. You cant do anything in photoshop and you must press esc a couple times in order to use photoshop again. Reinstalling photoshop, and resetting all settings, including the raw camrea filter settings did not work.  How to replicate bug:1.Open or create any document size or mode.2.Open Camera Raw Filter3. Screen does nothing, you must then press esc to use photoshop.

Dear Adobe Team,   I would like to report an issue regarding the Cinelike A2 profile on the Panasonic DC-S1M2 camera when processed in Adobe Lightroom/Camera RAW. Specifically, the Camera Matching setting for Cinelike A2 does not accurately replicate the colors seen in-camera.   To verify this, I conducted a test by simultaneously capturing two files—HEIF (10-bit) and RW2 (RAW)—and importing them into Lightroom for comparison. The discrepancies observed include:       1. Black & White Point Compression: The Camera Matching Cinelike A2 profile exhibits excessive compression in Black Point and White Point, whereas the HEIF file remains unaffected.   2. Color Shift in Yellow/Orange Tones: The yellow/orange lines in a parking lot appear shifted and even clipped, creating unnatural edges.   3. Incorrect Saturation Transition in Reds: The red tones in hair show improper saturation gradation—instead of darkening naturally in shadowed areas, the sa

I apologize if this has been asked before but it's tough wording to find in search and I may not even be using the right terms. So anyway, with the last handful of updates, all my "interface/layout" settings in Camera Raw have been resetting on my Silicon MacBook (but NOT on my Intel iMac). It all goes back to default... favorites are gone (profiles AND presets), vertical is horizontal again, it's back to light gray, custom panel order is reset... seems trivial (and is certainly less of a hassle than all the issue the program was putting me through a couple years back) but it is a huge time-suck and I can't figure out why it is happening on one and not the other... which also makes me feel like there may be a fix. I have search and read and everything is a dead end. It will not find people in a picture.Brand new M2 Max with 64gb 1tb storage. Running it from ssd. It runs fine on my old 27'' imac. It is all up to date on stuff. raw 16.2 PS 25.5.1

Hello all, I've been using Photoshop and Camera Raw for around a year.  I'm just doing a basic workflow that a friend taught me, as I'm a bit of a novice.  I take bird photos with OM Systems OM-1 and 300mm f4 PRO. My starting point is to process the .ORF (RAW) file in Camera Raw, and click the Auto button.  I found this generally made a great improvement, but quite often I had to correct the Exposure.  Apart from this I would sometimes adjust Shadows & Highlights, adjust Whites and Blacks, then do Denoise and Sharpening.  At this point a .DNG file was created, and I clicked Open to make further adjustments in Photoshop (usually just cropping and sometimes to remove a distracting feature).  Generally I was very pleased with the results. However, this changed around August this year, with the Camera Raw update to 17.4 (I think).  There were changes to the dialogue, and now it saves the edits in a .acr file, and it doesn't automaticall

Hello everyone,I’ve noticed that on Camera Raw, the RAW-S and RAW-M files from the Sony A7RV are rendered poorly, both in terms of color but especially in distortion correction. On Capture One and Sony’s Image Edge, the images look perfectly identical and distortion-free.On Camera Raw, however, they appear overly distorted.
