Camera Raw does not start completely and gives an error. The sliders are no longer displayed. The Photo (NEF) is shown. The latest version of camera raw has been installed.
In cases where I don't want to upload all the files from my Nikon Z6 camera card using the ACR file upload, it would be nice if I could see the thumbnail photos like I can when uploading from my Nikon D500 camera card. But all I can see using the Z6 camera card are icons that look like daisies. I'm using the current version of ACR from Photoshop CC. Is there a setting I'm missing? TIA

The Canon EOS Rebel T7, 1500D, 2000D (same exact model with different country names) camera profiles render properly using the camera's 'As Shot' white balance settings, but display a very high and incorrect Tint value in the LR 8.2.1 Basic panel. In addition when using any of the Basic panel WB presets (Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Shade, Tungsten, etc.) set for the actual shooting lighting condition the image takes on a strong yellow-green tint shift. I use ACR virtually always. I click on my raw file and bingo, it's up in ACR.Then I mess, adjust, linger... and open in Photoshop. But now by base image has been adjusted. How about an option that would leave the basic raw image in as background once you've entered Photoshop editing, and what you messed with as the first layer. Then you would always have the base, unedited, to refer to, or dupe for some reason. Just would be nice to have the option to keep that base image in as the, well, base image.
Camera Raw 11.4 makes seamless edge-aware 360-degree panoramas. It doesn't do so on all images, so how does it know that an equirectangular image is a spherical panorama? Is there certain meta data required, and if so, what?If metadata is required, then it would imply that some image types can not be edited in this way, such as PNGs?If I don't have the required metadata, how can I add it, or is there a checkbox to enable seamless edge-aware editing?
So this is a multi tiered problem. Shot some aurora pics the other night. First time I used a Rokinon 20mm f1.8. This doesn't look as if there's a correction file in existence for it. When I opened the files in Lightroom they were blurred, almost foggy looking. When I open the files in Camera Raw the focus appeared fine. That brings me to the second issue. When I use raw and it either comes time to save n export or to open in photoshop, it almost always stick me these swirls marks all over the image. I can not even get people to agree on what they are called much less how to stop them, I also get this affect when saving in photoshop or anytime I flatten an image in photoshop. I'm reduced to zooming to full screen and taking a screen shot before saving or flattening, then pasting it in paint and trimming off any thing that not my picture if I want my finished product to look remotely acceptable. I would just stick with Lightroom if it let me save in any format but it just seems to let m
Camera RAW is not working properly since update to Catalina. Any updates soon?
I have ACR 12.1. I'm noticing that when you view a raw image in ACR, it looks heavily sharpened - even though all the sharpening sliders are set to zero. As I have sharpening set to preview only, the image looks normal when exported to PS. Anything you can suggest to rectify this?
Hi,I posted a similar question in the Adobe AE forums 6 months ago without any luck.I am trying to use the maximum out of my cinemaDNG files from My DJI Inspire 2 super 35mm X7 camera without any good results. I have found one way that works without shadow flickering but that means using the process 2010 (v2) engine in camera RAW and that one is nowhere near as good as the 2012 (v3) or latest one (v4). I've been told that this works for time-lapse photographers batch processing in Lightroom (have not tried yet). That makes me confused since I've been told that ACR & Lightroom uses exactly the same process engine? Anyone with any ideas? kind regards // Alex
Specific case: Select 1 file and set Texture value to -30 (type or use slider) & press enter to keep; select all or several files (specific case, select 29 files). Texture window changes to empty box (indicating multiple values); type "-30" in box. Must reply/press OK 29 times (I think... by then they all run together). If you set value with slider instead of typing, works OK.
I gone crazy while i have updated my Photoshop and realize that the new Camera Raw opens each raw serately and not together like before! The function that i have the Browser on the left, where i can edit all together or transfer the settings is gone! This function is for me existentially, while i have tons of pics that have nearly the same settings.Edit each separately was a horror for me!!What can i do and when not, where do i geht the old Camera Raw?Thanks and regardsGuido
In ACR, underneath the image, there is a hyperlink to workflow options and in that window you can check or un-check "resize to fit" and also you can check/uncheck "don't enlarge"I've also read that you can use the crop tool but I don't see how to do thatI'm using the latest version (12) via the cc subscriptionthanks
I have a Canon EOS R. In Lightroom I have camera profiles (Camera Neutral, Camera Landscape, Camera Faithful, etc.) Up until recently when I chose one of these profiles for an image then opened it into photoshop it rendered the profile correctly. Today I opened an image from a Canon EOS R in Lightroom, chose the Camera Landscape v2 profile, made some adjustments then opened it directly into photoshop. The image was very washed out. After doing some sleuthing I opened the image from the raw .CR3 file directly into Photoshop using Camera Raw. At the profile I had a yellow alert triangle, when I moused over it the tooltip read "Profile not installed, rendering is incorrect". How can I have a profile installed in Lightroom and not in camera raw? And why suddenly has it disappeared. If I "bake" the file to DNG it looks correct, and certainly, I can get my "pop" back in PS but it's a lot more work that I really should not have to do.
I created a radial adjustment in Adobe Camera Raw. I selected the brush tool to modify the area impacted by the adjustment. This has worked in the past. However this time, the add to selection brush did NOT operate properly, and it has not since. The add to brush seems to apply in an ABSOLUTE LEVEL. So, where ever the add to the radial adjustment brush is applied, the local adjustment goes to some uniform level. What used to happen is that where ever the add to brush was applied, the adjustment would increase up to a 100% of what ever the radial adjustment was (gradually or immediately depending on the flow setting of the add to adjustment brush). My guess is that I inadvertently hit some setting shortcut. HELP! Other info:-- The add to the radial adjustment brush seems to work fine when used outside the area impacted by the radial adjustment.-- The erase/subtract from the area impacted by the radial adjustment seems to work fine. -- The same issue occurs when trying to use t
I'm running CS4 on OS10.6.8 (yeah, very old. So am I.) Until now, 5.4 has recognized my Leica SL dngs. No longer. It still recognizes my older Leica M240 dngs. What can I do to get the SL dngs recognized again? Any guidance appreciated. Stan
With the specified configuration, Fuji X Pro 3 Raw files do not open. Can you do anything? Thank you
Hello,All of the sudden my Camera RAW doesn't recognises my Canon Lenses. The only thing is that I uninstalled (via the uninstal program) al the older versions of Adobe CC. But the disapearence of only Canon lens profiles doesn't seem logic...e.g. Nikon is still there... Does anyone know what the problem could be?Updates are all done etc. Greets Joris
The work flow of a png file is safer for image quality in the long run and is a more favorable file format then Jpeg. It would save a lot of time and issues if exporting from Lightroom was a capability.
Does anyone know of photo editor on the Android OS that can handle psd templates with multi layers?
I am updating from elements 9 to elements 2020 to accomodate my new Nikon D750, ( I was shooting with a D60). Do I need to remove elements 9 before I install 2020?
Hi, I am owner of Elements 15, which I've had for about a year and I am now confronted with a problem where basically.... if its not sorted.... I can throw away Elements 15. I have even spoken to the Adobe Hotline and they can't even help. So they suggested I contacted you cracks. I have the following problem.I recently bought a new Camera, and although I use it mostly for filming... I also intend to photograph quite a lot with it- I bought the Panasonic FZ200, or as it is known in America the FZ2500. I was most disappointed, when trying to load RW files into Photoshop elements using the installed Camera RAW Version 9.7.0.668... that it refused and told me to download a newer version of Camera RAW. After fighting my way through Adobe online pages which just seemed to go round in circles, I took it into my own hands and downloaded 11.1..... which installed correctly...... but didn't work. In Elements there is still only 9.8 installed. It would appear that I need ATLEST 9.8, which is not
I use LR 4. I have upgraded my camera to a D7500 which uses a newer version of RAW which LR4 does not read and Adobe don't seem to support the products they have sold in the past which seems a little off to say the least. Furthermore, the options of forums only being LRcc is sad and not expected from a industry leader. however, I have down loaded the Adobe RAW converter but the quality produced is poor 1024 x 643, but still retaining the 20 meg file size. there doe snot appear to be a selective option to chose a higher resolution. please advise a solution. regards alan
In camera raw, using the Graduated Filter, I trace an area from 10 inches below the top of the document down to the midle of it. When I adjust that area (for instance decreasing the exposure slider) the change of exposure starts at the top of the document instead of just inside the green line. How can I get it to start the change inside the green area, feathering to zero at the red line?
