Camera Raw

I bought a new laptop.  Macbook Pro (mid 2015).  It's running OS X El Capitan, v. 10.11.6.I installed Adobe PhotoShop CS5 on it, the same version I had on my old macbook pro.  However, PS on my new laptop is not reading the raw CR2 files from my 5DMarkiii.  I tried running the updates in photoshop, and it is failing.    Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 Update  There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.Please help.  The only reason I bought a new laptop was to edit my photos on.  Thank you,- seema

Hi all, I have a Nikon D5100. Recently, since I got a new computer, I no longer have the Nikon raw converter/editor software installed. I decided to try my luck with just uploading my photos to apple's iPhoto program & editing them in Photoshops RAW editor. The photos upload fine to iPhoto, but I have not been able to get them to open in Photoshop RAW no matter what I try. I first tried dragging a photo (which says in iPhoto that it is still the raw NEF file,) directly onto the photoshop logo in my dock, but that had no response at all. I then tried opening the photo directly from Photoshop with File>Open. This opened the image in Photoshop but automatically converted the image to a JPEG for some odd reason. Finally, I tried dragging the photo from iPhoto to the desktop to see if it was a problem with iPhoto specifically, but the computer automatically converted the photo to JPEG once on the desktop. Just moved to a new system, reloaded CS 5 12.1 x32 extended with Camera Raw 6.7.0.339. I tried opening NEF images that were shot with  NIKON D750. Can someone help tell me what I need to do?

I've downloaded the replacement for CS3 and at no time did it ask me to enter my new ser#.  And when I tried to launch this new Photoshop ONCE AGAIN it wanted me to "reactivate" which it wouldn't let me do.  So what do I do now???????

Hello,I have been using Bridge and Adobe Camera Raw to edit my photos for awhile now, and all of the sudden I am having a problem I have never had before. I finish editing my photos in Raw and save them to a folder on my computer. When I open them on my computer, they look fine, the edit is showing up and not the original. However, when I upload the photos to my website or to google drive, or even open them on another computer, they are showing up unedited (the original photo) rather than the edit I saved. I have been using this program and never had this problem. I did the same thing I have done every single time, and for some reason this is happening. Any suggestions?

Photoshop CS6 will not read RAW files from my Olympus OM-D E-M1. Going through the Help files to find an appropriate file to download for CS6, the right hand side of my screen is always  covered by a text box obscuring the information I needed. Two things I want to get out of the way first:YES I am only selecting a folder and not trying to open it.NO I did not use ViewNX.I wanted to edit NEF files, from my Nikon D5600, using Lightroom Classic CC, so when I tried importing the NEF files, I would get an error that read "Some import operations were not performed." When I googled the problem I read about converting the NEF Files into DNG files. So then I tried using the "Copy as DNG" tool in Lightroom while importing, and received the same error as before. So, i have been using this version of bridge/photoshop and the converter without issue.  Indeed i used it yesterday.  However i updated windows 10 today and now when i try to ope a raw file it comes up as lots of horizontal lines.  I also tried on older files which i have used succesfully before.  Help??

Hi. You can only use CC, if your MAc meets the requirements.In my case, it doesn't. I have Photoshop Cs5, a Canon 5d mark 3 and a 10.7. Mac-now the new RAW DNG converter won't work on the old mac and the old converters links don't work either.Any ideas?

I recently purchased the Tokina 11-20 for Nikon mount.  When using it with Adobe Camera Raw I cannot get the lens correction profile to auto load.  The error message is "Unable to locate a matching lens profile automatically".  However, as soon as I select Tokina as the lens make CR auto-recognizes the lens as the 11-20. This is with CC 2017 and CR 9.10.0.739.  I also installed the latest version of CR 10.xx.xx.xx.xx and the behavior is unchanged.  A user on Fred Miranda reported that he sees the exact same behavior with Lightroom.  Any suggestions?

Hello everyone.Is there any chance of seeing relative adjustments in ACR? There is a basic implementation of it in Lightroom CC, and would be a very welcome addition to ACR. Let me explain.For example, I have two RAW images shot with Auto exposure. I adjusted the exposure of the images in ACR to match each other (say, +0.5 and +1), but now I'd like to make both images a bit brighter by the same amount (+0.2). The only way I can do this now is adjust each image separately to maintain their current previously adjusted exposure values. It would be great if I could select two images and add a relative +0.2 amount.The same refers to most other adjustments.Thanks for any reply in advance!

I have just bought a Sony A7RIII but can't use the adobe APS to work on bridge og lightroom, when do we get an update? the update is now available  on On1 and on Capture one 10.@ !

Can you give some kind of time estimate on when the next Camera Raw update will be released that includes support for the Sony A7rIII?I have contacted support and searched the net and it seems everyone is waiting for this, but there has not been a response from Adobe other than it will come when it comes.This is not helpful for professional photographers that have thousands of images piling up.Our only options at this point is to purchase competitors products that do support this camera like Capture One or manually edited our files to look like a different camera before Lightroom can recognize it...I know you have to receive this from Sony so you can work on this and find it hard to believe that you haven’t and if haven't would hope you are pushing hard to get it and not just waiting.Either way an update of some kind would be nice.  Something like ”we have no estimate as Sony has yet to release what we need to build it”, or will be available soon, by Q1 2018, by 2018, by 2020, som

How do I download ACR 9.8 for installation?
