I'm normally using the latest CameraRaw for CS6 (9.1.1), but at the moment I'm on trial of CC. I noticed lots of hot pixels in my some of my photos. So I compared how ACR 11.2 with ACR 9.1.1 and Lr5 handles hot pixel removal. The same file opened with the new version shows almost twice as many hot pixels than opened with CS6. Playing with noise reduction or sharpening don't affect the issue at all.On the image I marked hot pixels not visible in CS6 or Lr5 (and also in competing RAW converter). Is there a way to "teach" ACR CC to remove hot pixels like before? Did I missed some settings? At the moment it's a deal breaker for me.
HelloHoping you can help. I am working from CS6 and just bought a new Nikon D850. I went to the Adobe site to get the latest installer 9.1.1, so it will read my files and downloaded it as instructed. Photoshop will still not read or convert my NEF Files? And, I do not want to convert to DNG files.Thoughts, solutions?
How can i disable Enhance details in camera raw 11, because i use windows 7
The new DNG converter 11.2 requires me to upgrade my MAC OS.I do not wish to do this. Whilst Apple provides a free upgrade, I would have to purchase an upgrade for both Parallels and Windows.I am appalled by the ARROGANCE and UNHELPFUL ATTITUDE of these software companies, including Adobe. They charge us a fortune for software and then abandon us and try to extort more money from us.I am equally appalled by the lack of any simple procedure to contact these companies. Having taken our money they wish to hide behind a maze of unhelpful run around pages.Totally disgusted!!
I just quickly tried out the new Enhance Details... feature in ACR on some Fuji X100T files with some detailed photos I had around. With very limited testing and mixed results, there are some errors. It did show some very fine detail better, my sample files had lot of single pixel highlights from sun reflected in snow crystals, and those did look better in the AI enhanced photos. However, at least with those snow landscapes, purple fringing was a major issue in the AI enhanced photos (it did very clear nicely in the non enhanced photos). It seems that ACR is applying chromatic aberation removal AGAIN for the enhanced DNG, thus producing that much purple fringing. When chromatic aberation removal is disabled for the enhanced DNG, it looks better.See screenshot (top is enhanced, bottom is normal)However, I am getting some major artifacts with it. Like this:or this:Might be GPU drivers related, might be a bug, whatever. Not much time for further testing right now.___Mac OS 10.13.6
I need to update Photoshop Elements 2019 on an offline Windows Workplace.Where can I download the offline installer for Camera RAW 11.1?
Hello , most of the time I see ,and sometimes I don't see the possibility to cut pictures in CR . Can anyone tell me what the reason is ? Or is it just a setting or.... Thanks a lot ! Regards,Henk
After getting a Nikon Z6 I am for the first time effected by ACR applying a built-in lens profile that can not be disabled. Since I disabled lens correction inside the camera and Nikon itself is not applying in NX-D I really wish Adobe would stop patronizing me. It's an absolute nogo, Adobe!
If I ticked in raw converter the new function yet released, a crash report is generated. On my PC are the latest win 10 updates. Prevoius versions of PS run properly. It seem to be, that this a malfunction of the new update?Regards,Ralf
Where is the trash can in the latest ACR version? Also, the "enhance detail" feature crashes my Win10 X64 version 1809 laptop with intel i7-7820 and 48GB ram, Nvidia GTX 1070, latest drivers.
Hey all,I've been having issues with my photo exports since the most recent CC update. There's an increase in noise, and as you can see a pixel grid, for some reason. The firmware on my camera hasn't been changed or anything so I can only assume it's an Adobe issueI'm getting the same result VIA Lightroom Classic and Photoshop and I haven't changed my workflow, so it's not anything I'm doing differently.Canon 7DmkiiWindows 10Any help or advice is very much appreciated!
How do I keep the image from flipping when I convert my gpr (gopro) raw files to dng?
I recently updated. I used to be able to select multiple files in Bridge and open them all at the same time in Camera Raw. All of the files would be displayed on the left side in the Camera Raw window. After updating I can only open one file at a time in Camera Raw.Is there a setting somewhere to change this so that I can open multiple files in Camera Raw?
I have Photoshop CS4 and Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. I just got the EOS R and need to read its CR3 output files. My PS CS4 only has (according to Help-->Plugins) Camera Raw plugin 5.0, so cannot read the CR3. Further, newer Camera Raw plugins aren't supported by CS4.At the end of the Adobe DNG Converter 11.1 Setup, it finds and fires up the old installation, version 7.3.0.71, and tells me "Click Finish to close Setup."When I search under C:\Program Files for "DNG" the only two files found are 1) the old binary at C:\Program Files\Adobe DNG Converter.exe, and 2) a sample file C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Samples\Doors.dng .I thought maybe the Setup couldn't overwrite the Adobe DNG Converter.exe without administrator priveleges, so I renamed it to Adobe DNG Converter.7.3.exe . Upon re-running the 11.1 install, it now doesn't start anything, and the above DNG search still finds only the two files of before (with the old converter now renamed).Ty
Is there anything that can be accomplished with the contrast slider in ACR that can't be accomplished with the other sliders?...or is it simply a shortcut to do an adjustment with one slider that would otherwise take two or more?
Hey guys I am trying to upload RAW Format photo to CS6 and its not opening is the updated version not capable of this ?
Hi,I have a problem with my camera raw, when i edit my pics, at the moment i use any slider of the program. my pictures have squares dancing, just when i move the sliders.
Running Adobe Bridge v9.0.2.219 and Camera Raw v11.1.0.112 on a Mac Pro OSX v10.13.6.When I select a group of RAW photo files in Bridge, and Open them in ACR, and select the entire group of image files, and then make Adjustments to the files (Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, etc.), ACR only applies some of the adjustments to all of the files. It will almost never apply a Contrast, Clarify or Saturation adjustment to all of the files; only to the first one in the list. How do I get ACR to apply ALL of the adjustment settings to ALL of the selected files? Thanks! Mark W.[Moved thread from Photoshop forum to Camera Raw forum - Mod]
Just on on board PS CC 2019. Nicest ACR ever seen. I'm not a big aficionado but this was hard to ignore:- For first time, seems I don't have to always click Done, to make sure adjustments are safe. I'm seeing the change icons in the thumb previews on the left in real times. Is this new? Maybe just have not noticed before. It's auto saving finally?- Faster, am I correct?- It seems to be creating duplicate, after cropping - backups in real time, is this new? Does these stay around?- It is crashing a lot, and then says (are you sure you want to open 57 files?). Did it three times. So then from Bridge I had to redo my open in ACR again. But because everything is faster it's quick to deal with.- I'm puzzled with straighten tool. It says double click. I do that but nothings straightens.- Bridge is also finally fast. I posted about that, no response. Bridge has always been slow.
Hello,I am trying to download Adobe DNG Converter off of Google Chrome to a 2015 Macbook running on the latest Mojave, and I've downloaded it a couple times and when I go to open the app it says "“DNGConverter_11_1.dmg” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash." I have no idea how to remedy this and can't seem to find anything online about it either. Any assistance is appreciated!
i have the latest PS, Bridge, ACR via my CC subscription and auto update. I also have the latest Mac OS update on my 27in iMacMy adjustment brush disappears and after googling I tried un-checking the “use graphics processor “ in the ACR prefs. That seems to bring it back. I also tried option h can someone provide clarity on what’s up. I didn’t have this issue before the last adobe updates
Hi all,I'd like to know if there is a way to record a Photoshop action which will apply ACR Automatic Exposure to the current layer.I have tried to record the action manually:Start recording...Merge Visible layersConvert to Smart ObjectCamera Raw FilterApplied Auto Exposure and returned to PhotoshopStop recordingBy doing this, the actions records only the values for that specific photo in the ACR Smart Filter, it doesn't record the "AUTO" settings.I know that the "AUTO" settings are not good for most photos, but I'd like to automatize this to apply to be applied when needed and eventually edit...Would it be possible?Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Hello everyone!wanted to use if conditionals in ACR, is that possible?for example: I have different presets for different camerasI don't believe actions are available in the normal Camera Raw but maybe as a plugin or something.Any help will be much appreciated!
Hi,CS6ACR 9.1.1win7 64 bit proOpening a shot taken on 18mm of my 18-40 Canon EFL lens on my EOS 70D body, into ACR, I have the lens in the lens drop down but not the 70D in the model profile drop down. All that is there in 'profile' is the EOS 1D (which I dont have) that is a full frame and mine is 1.5 crop.I select the 1D just to see what happens and the distortion remains. Its a photo of an aircraft held in my left hand at its wingtip and the port wing is distorted bigger than the stbd compared to what would be if shot on 40mm but I cant hold it that far away to use 40 ! Clearly 1D with its full frame profile is not helping much, but surely this drop down should show other EOS models.Where do I get to add the 70D and also my 20D to this ?If I open photo onto CS6 and go filter lens correction the camera bodies listed I see 50D but not 20D or 70D so again missing from there.Merlin
