When using ACR the masking panel does not undock when a mask type is selected. Am I missing a parameter setting somewhere?ACR 15.0; PS 24.0.0; Win 10 64-bit
Snapshot cannot be named while saving in ACR 17.1 with MAC OS Sequoia
Since this morning, Adobe Camera Raw has stopped supporting GPU acceleration. When I try to edit photos directly from bridge (Canon Raw or jpg), I get the message: "Camera Raw requires GPU acceleration to edit photos."I've checked my settings, and everything seems fine. So I opened photoshop bu it also can no open Camera Raw Filer for me so I checked performance setting, it does show my GPU (meaning adobe photoshop recognises it) but stil can not open Camera RAW Filter in photoshop too . Has anyone else faced this issue? How can I fix it?Any advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated!
Hello everyone:I have the latest version of PS (in Spanish) 26.6.0 and Camera Raw 17.3 installed; these are the latest versions available. These versions run on a Mac Mini 2018 with a CPU: 3.2 GHz 6-core Intel Core i7, GPU: 1536 MB Intel UHD Graphics 630, and 64 GB of memory. In the previous version of camera Raw, I was able to use the "Adaptive Color" profile. Now I'm getting an error (in Spanish, which I hope can be translated understandably into English), saying "Could not update all AI settings."What's the problem?I would appreciate a quick response.José Víctor González
Camera RAW: Merge to Panorama - Preview Problem (PS 26.6.0 + ACR 17.3.0)in Camera RAW, the preview are rotated clockwise 90° when Auto Settings is NOT checked in ALL 3 Projection modes (Spherical, Cylindrical & Perspective). The same problem happens with PS 26.3 & ACR 17.2.See attached files.
I have a camera converted to super color IR by Life Pixel. The method Life Pixel recommends to create a white balance profile is to export a raw file created with the IR camera as DNG. Next, run the DNG Profile Editor, open the file, click the Color Matrices tab, move the temperature slider all the way to the left, then export the profile for use in LR and ACR. This is necessary because the DNG Profile Editor lets you select a much lower color temperature than the Temperature sliders in LR/ACR.The DNG Profile Editor has been abandoned by Adobe. It runs on Windows but does not scale on high resolution monitors. I read online that it does not run at all on Mac High Sierra or later. The new Adobe Profile SDK, which is Adobe's replacement for the DNG Profile Editor, let's us create profiles in ACR. Unfortunately that does not work for those of us with IR cameras because the Temperature slider in ACR does not have the range of the Temperature slider in DNG Profile Editor as stated above.Yes,
After upgrading to Camera Raw 12.4.0.555 I am getting the following error when trying to open a raw file:"Unable to read the full size image" This happens when files are on a network drive. If I copy the files to a local drive there is no problem opening the files. Workstation: iMac Pro (2017), MacOS Catalina (10.15.7)Photoshop version: 21.2.4Raw files: Olympus RAW (ORF files)Files are located on Network Drive, (AFP), permissions are 777. Since nothing hass changed on the NAS, and the previous version of ACR did not have this issue, it must be some bug. Please fix a.s.a.p. Rick
Good afternoon, I always use Adobe Camera Raw to edit my photos, but when I use masks, Camera Raw is so slow that it is no longer usable. For example, if I open 30 photos in ACR and edit them, it is really really very fast. But if I use a mask even once, ACR becomes so extremely sluggish and slow that it can no longer be used.I then have to close everything and then it works quickly again, until I use masks again. It gets slow if I click on masking just once. I have a Windows 11 PC with Intel I9 13900k processor - 64Gb RAM - NVIDIA RTX 4070Who knows the solution?
The S5ii has a high resolution mode where it takes 4 x 24MP photos and joins them together into a single 1,200 x 800px 96MP image. This seems to confuse the tailored denoise algorithm and the result is very messy.I'm assuming it identifies the camera model via the metedata, but it would be great if it looked at the photo dimension and had a custom noise reduction for this image type.
Camera Raw not launching when selecting "Open in Camera Raw" for RAW & Jpeg files from Adobe Bridge. Same issue in Photoshop when selecting "Camera Raw Filter ... " Bridge freezes during the launch, but unfreezes when pressing the ESC key. Camera Raw does launch at times but returns to not launching soon there after. No error report given. All apps up to date with latest version.Camera Raw v17.2Bridge v15.0.3Photoshop v26.4.1Windows 11 Pro v24H2
Danke
After updating to Camera Raw 17.2, the “Copy Edit Settings” function now includes Defringe settings by default. This wasn’t the case in previous versions and is causing unintended edits when pasting settings. There’s no way to change this behaviour or set custom defaults. Going into “Copy Selected Edit Settings” and manually unchecking Defringe every time is too time-consuming as a workaround.
After updating to Camera Raw version 17.2, I’ve noticed that snapshots appear to save normally, but when I return to them, they don’t reflect the version of the image I saved.
English Translation: When I try to use the Camera Raw filter to enhance a photo, an error window pops up. The operation could not be completed. I don't know what to do in this case. The Photoshop version is 2025 version 26.5 and Camera Raw filter version is 17.2. Latest Version When I use 17.2, an error window appears like this, If you use the previous version, 14.5, the camera low filter is turned on, but it seems impossible to make detailed corrections. I tried to do it with the latest version, but the filter is not on, so I am asking for help like this It's really frustrating
Hello[I use PS CS3 (Although I have access to CS4) and an intel imac]I want to keep my RAW files unadulterated, in the state that they were shot, so that I can return to them at a later date to 'play' again, with a fresh point of view. However, when I open Bridge, i see they have the icon on them indicating that changes have been applied to them. I don't need the RAW files with the changes, I already have the jpgs and tiffs that i created from them.Yes, i searched the forms here and found how to prevent the settings from being applied to RAW files that I open from now on: tested the method and it's good.I also followed the remove xmp file advice and that worked, too. However, I still have a couple of RAW files that didn't have xmp files associated with them, and I can't get rid of the little icon, hence i assume the changes are still there. How can I recover the original unchanged RAW files for these? What I've tried: in Camera Raw i 'reset camera raw defaults', because I thought that wou
HI! I was wondering how to solve "camera raw graphics acceleration is not supported by your system"? I already have latests versions of CAMERA RAW/PHOTOSHOP... PS. My GPU is 2080RTX
I own Micro43 and compact cameras, where lens profiles are integrated in RAW files. With software like Capture One Pro, I can easily enable or disable theses built-in profiles. Actually, there is even a slider allowing to enable 0% or 100% of the built-in profile, and whatever percentage in between. In LR (CC, Classic or LR6), the checkox for enabling or disabling profiles does not work with built-in profiles, which always stay enabled. This seriously limits the possibilities of several cameras which possibilities get unleashed by actual RAW developpers like Capture One Pro.I'm actually a COP user (after switching from LR) but DAM sucks with COP and this built-in lens profile thing is the only deal breaker for me to come back. So please let users disable built-in lens profiles, or at least offer workarounds. As a workaround, a dumb "zero" profile that would replace the built-in one (not coming on top of it) could do the job.
Same bug as here in Lightroom, which was fixed with LRC 13.3.1P: Remove tool clone and heal is missing source ha... - Page 3 - Adobe Community - 14635600 "When using the clone and heal options of the revised remove tool, Lightroom automatically picks a source area as previously, however there is now (Lightroom Classic v13.3 on Windows 11) no way to change this manually. The drag handle doesn't appear when hovering over the source area. The tool overlay is visible, I can see both the source area and destination. The destination area can be moved and dragged, the handle appears when the cursor is over this, but not for the source area."
When I use DNG converter, it slows down my computer. I always go to task manager and reduce the priority of the task, to be able to use my computer while it's converting files. Why not add a priotiry setting to the application itself?
I have an image which I converted to DNG in 2005. The camera model Canon EOS 20D is not listed in Camera Raw. Do I need to convert this image to the latest DNG in order to see my older model camera? Thanks for any advice about this.
Wondered if anyone could assit.I have a sony camera. I using convert the files in capture one the the tiff files I run though camera raw and photoshop.Never had an issue until yesterday when I have found when I am processing the tiff files in camera raw they are much more saturated then when they are open in photoshop. It means I can't really do any adjustments in camera raw anymore as the end result isn't what gets pushed across to photoshop. See two screen grabs as example. No settings have changed over than recenlty ungraded to windows 11.
there is any way I can change the toolbar in to the left part of the screen? I'm left-handed and I can't see nothing what I'm doing while working in a screen tablet Thanks.
Hi, I just bought a Sony A7C II with a Sony FE 40mm F2.5, but i can't seem to find the lens profile on Lightroom or Camera Raw or any profile for that matter, i have the latest patch on both Photoshop and Lightroom. Does anyone has that problem too ?
