Camera Raw

 Bonjour,Depuis un moment il m'est régulièrement difficile -voir impossible- de télécharger une photo sur PS depuis Camera Raw, surtout en objet dynamique. Si je passe par Photoshop, fichier - parcourir dans Bridge - et ouvrir une photo via CRAW, cela fonctionne mieux même si cela "rame" beaucoup.J'ai tout ré-installé mais le problème est récurrent.Il me semble pourtant avoir la bonne configuration PC pour que cela fonctionne bien : Window 10 - Processeur 11 th Gen Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-11700F - Intel 64 Family 6 Model 7. - carte graphique NVIDIA RTX 2060 . RAM 16 GO.J'utilise un NIKON Z8 donc 45 millions de pixels.Quelqu'un pour m'aider ?Merci beaucoup

If multiple images are selected with different specific settings (say, Exposure) the Exposure field will be blank to indicate that there are differing settings across those images. However, if two images with different Denoise amounts are selected, the amount field is not blank and will display an incorrect value for at least some of the images.

As much as I love the Dehaze slider, there is one thing about it that I absolutely HATE and that is when it decides to go psycho in altering the color-balance/white-balance of photos.These example photos may not show up (I've had issues with photos disappearing from being uploaded), but here is one pair from earlier today... the tint setting on WB is just 50k apart, one click on the arrow key.. but the difference is HUGE.All settings are identical between the 2 photos, the only change was hovering the mouse over the WB tint slider and pressing the up/down key once.. changing from 5850k to 5800kI often get similar shifts going from consecutive, continuous-high photos from frame to frame with the exact same settings, no changes in wb settings, and it all seems related to the dehaze slider and the way it analyzes the photos.Years ago, I thought I actually had a defective camera, as the photos would change biggly even using the same exact settings 0.1sec apart.  Eventually, I tracked

Hi all, I'm having issues using Camera Raw in Adobe Bridge on my MacBook Pro 2024 (Apple Silicon, fully updated macOS and Creative Cloud apps). When I try to open RAW files from Bridge, I get the message:“Camera Raw requires GPU acceleration.”In Camera Raw Preferences > Performance, the "Use Graphics Processor" option is grayed out and disabled, and I can't change it.I already tried forcing GPU via a config.lua file in ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/GPU with overridegpu = true, but it had no effect.I also tried giving Adobe full disk access and screen recording permissions in macOS settings.Deleting the GPU folder and restarting didn’t help.I finally uninstalled and reinstalled Camera Raw completely via Creative Cloud, and cleared all cached settings, but still no luck.It feels like Bridge and Photoshop simply refuses to connect properly with Camera Raw, even though my system is powerful enough. Any help would be hugely appreciated — thank you!

camera raw flips images when opened. not all of them, some are displayed normally, some open on the side in the other direction. All the photos were taken on the same shoot. How to solve this problem?

I bought the Sony ZV-1 Vlog (point and shoot) camera and made some (RAW) pictures at home. When I tried to import them into Lightroom Classic, I get an error "Can't open file in Lightroom". I checked if the camera is compatible, Adobe site tells me it should be okay. I downloaded the latest version of Lightroom Classic on my Laptop. I also tried to import RAW pictures from my Sony A6400 and with that I had no issues. Does anyone know what to do? By the way, I have a Macbook Pro 2020.

Right now the 12 bit raw files of the Lumix S1RII are about 2 stops underexposed. I was hoping that with the latest Camera Raw update 17.3 a full support would be added, but it seems like it didn't happen. Will this support come in the near future? Attached is a comparision of Capture One and Lightrom, both adjusted to almost same exposure. C1 i had to increase by .5 while I had to bump up the exposure in Lightroon by 2.5, resulting in a higher noise. Shooting in 14 bit, Raw files are correctly exposed. but higher burst rates are only achieved by 12 bit.

Good day! I am using Adobe Creative Cloud on my new Samsung Galaxy Book5 360. Before buying it, I checked the specs and I run the Adobe Diagnostics and it says the laptop can support the Adobe suite. Nevertheless, Camera Raw (on Photoshop 26.6) crashes often. Mostly when using sky mask, or erasing people, even though sometimes it just crashes without a clear reason. I sent the error reports but got no reply yet.Ii also crashes on Premiere Pro (25.2.3) Did anybody experience a similar problem?Thanks and regards

Hello,   I might be finally purchasing a professional camera. Before I do so, I just wanted to go over a few things with post processing. I would be recording all my pictures in the raw format and then converting them to dng with Adobe's DNG Converter. I have to do this because my version of camera raw will not support any camera on the market. I have already decided that I will be discarding my proprietary raw files after being converted to dng.   Now, what exactly should I do with the dng files? Obviously, I have to render them since I can't do anything with them as dng. Do most people render them in camera raw to jpeg or tiff? I understand tiff is recommended for printing and jpeg is recommended for sharing. How about the color space, should I render them as ProPhoto RGB, 16bit for the hightest quality? Would this apply for jpeg and tiff?   I know it's stongly recommended to keep the raw files, (in my case the dng files) even after being rendered just in case you want

In most cases, exporting AVIF and JPEG XL with corresponding settings produces files of fairly similar size. There's some variance as expected, some images compress a bit better with one format than another.   But certain raw files inexplicably compress very, very poorly with JXL. Despite said DNG containing over double the amount of pixels, and ostensibly less compression. The AVIF version with the same resolution and quality setting is over 80% smaller than either one. Hi everyone.  So I need to do a little bit of digital infrared processing. With great enthusiasm, I jumped straight  into the subject and began by downloading Adobe DNG Profile Editor... Only to discover that it doesn't seem to work at all. After reading comments online, I've come to realize that it might be an issue with my Mac being too new, and Adobe hasn't released a newer version of the software compatible with M1 Pro onwards. Do you have any alternatives to suggest for this software, or perhaps know of a solution to fix this issue? Thanks!

Hello, I'm looking for a better understanding of using the DNG converter and the JPEG preview options. First question, when I go to open a DNG file that I created with DNG Converter, why is the image (preview) so tiny?For example, when I open DNG file from my Samsung Galaxy's camera, they are full size.I dont' even understand how Windows photos app or anything other than RAW editing software can even open DNG files. With my Samsung Galaxy, there are no JPEG preview options. I just have the camera set to RAW format which is actually DNG and that's it. To be clear, I do not have my Galaxy set to RAW and JPEG. Like I said, when I open the DNG files from my Galaxy they are full size, unlike the Adobe DNG Converter. The tiny image that appears when I open a DNG file from DNG Converter, is with the "none" JPEG preview setting. If I have it set to none, how can it be viewed? If the option none actually gives you a (tiny) preview, why doesn't it just give you a full size preview

The crop tool is missing in Camera Raw 15.1.1 (Mac).     Does anyone know how to fix this?  Thanks 

Good morning everyone,I have been using Camera Raw non-stop for 8 years now for my work as a photographer at film festivals and I have to complain about Camera Raw's new noise reduction process which I find simply poor and totally inappropriate by my standards.I use Camera raw to perform HDR of projected movie photos during screenings and of course to replicate the effect with great results I use HDR with two exposures, and I used to take two photos (the one above and the one below-exposed), then reduce the noise via AI, and then create from the two new files a new HDR image that with little issues recreates the effect without compressing the quality of off-screen details. But this new method Introduced by the update, downloaded today, of version 17.4 of using the AI of Noise Reduction directly on the original image does not work at all and even deteriorates the quality of details beyond repair. Let me give you a practical example: on the left is the image recreated with

Does anyone know how a canon CR3 file actually gets changed to a jpeg file. I thought RAW files could not be changed. The file shows as .CR3.jpg and ends up as a small jpeg file and the RAW file has gone. I had a batch of 50 odd files go this way. I searched the computer and the RAW files are not anywhere.

my photoshop freezes whenever I try to open Camera Raw Filter. The camera raw loading bar pops up and never progresses or goes away, and it won’t let me click out of it, I have to force quit every time.Photoshop and CR are both up to date and I’m using MacBook with MacOS Monterey. I’ve tried unchecking the GP box and it didn’t help.anyone know what to do?

When I open a RAW file, the Camera Raw window cannot be found anywhere on the screen - not even showing as a minimum window or a single pixel. It just disappears. However, the prompt window is still opened. I know it because when I click on the main PS window, it does not respond and gets me the system sound indicating that a subwindow is openend. (same system sound when having "Open File" prompt window open and clicking on the PS main window). And if I hit ESC, it closes the invisible Camera Raw subwindow. I tried to re-install PS but without luck. None of the window moving methods (e.g. alt+tab, win+arrow key, etc) works. Windows 11 Pro 22621.1413PS 24.3 Any help would be appreciated.

I unable to open acr 17.2 and acr 17.3.1   ,  Camera Raw Preferences cannot be opened. I installed 17.1 and it worked. I think it's a bug on 17.2 and 17.3....I Have Tried Without Success:1. Disable GPU usage in Photoshop.2. Resetting Photoshop Preferences. (Camera Raw Preferences cannot be opened.)3. Update GPU drivers.4. Hello community,   I am experiencing serious issues with Camera Raw 17.2 on Windows 11 when trying to open .NEF (Nikon RAW) files in Photoshop 26.3. The Camera Raw cannot open and the Photoshop displays the following message: Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file. However, my Photoshop works well, except that the Camera Raw cannot be opened.   It seems that Camera Raw 17.2 can be successfully installed on my computer, but it cannot be opened. So how can I open Camera Raw again? I would really appreciate any help! Thank you in advance! Steps I Have Tried Without Success: 1. Disable GPU usage in Photoshop. 2. Is it Samsung or is it Adobe? This effect is not visible in the embedded preview. The ProMode classic RAW is completely broken, there is nothing there in the highlights and shadows to recover (it's on the same level as the jpg), while a 3rd party app can create a RAW file where it's possible (even Adobes De-Noise works on 3rd party dng files).
