Camera Raw

The other day I updated photoshop on my Macbook, however it was having some issues both in Photoshop and Camera raw.Today I installed Photoshop 25.12.1 and so far it's going great, however Camera Raw stayed to the 17.2 version is there any way to install the 16.2.1 or 16.3 version?The only old version available from the adobe website is the 14.5 😞Thank you

Hi,  I am using the latest Photoshop (26.4.1 20250225.r.194 4c5f14b x64) version with camera raw v17.2, and when trying to open any Cr3 file, the app freezes. I have tried to reboot my computer, reinstalled photoshop several times, used creative cloud fix tool and tried to run user-diagnostics plugin to figure the problem out, but nothing worked.Any clue of what I can do? I've spent over 2 hours on this issue already.

I have major problem, whenever i try tu use camera raw (opening raw from bridge, or using camera raw filter from photoshop) the program i am using freezes, and te only way i can close it is by ctrl+alt+del. Already checked for nvidia update, didn't help. Don't know what seems to be the problem, the PS-Preferences-camera raw are set for full speed. help!  

I had to start a new thread as my attempts to respond to the original thread appears to be blocked due to the attached log files. My apologies if my responses actually were posted. I took David Franzen's advice (thank you David for the response) and updated the camera raw drivers. On rebooting, the appropriate GPU was enabled (Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti). On the first attempt to open a RAW file, the GPU was disabled. This repeats everytime I reboot Photoshop.As I appear to have problems attaching the Camera Raw Logs, I will try to post them separately. 

Je suis incapable d'ouvrir un fichier NEF  dans camera Raw, photos prises avec un Nikon Z50II. J'ai Photosop Elements 2025. Mise à jour faite version 2025.1 pour Windows. Je n'ai pas de problèmes avec les photos prises avec Nikon Z6II.  Jusqu'à maintenant l'aide d'Adobe n'a rien fait et a été interrompue.

I recently updated the latest versions of Photoshop 2025, 26.3.0, which includes Adobe Camera Raw 17.2.0.2155. I am also running Bridge, version 15.0.2. Today when I opened multiple images, either from Bridge or from the desktop, into Adobe Camera Raw, after a few images, the vertical film strip disappears, and through it I can see whatever program I was last in. If I click in that area where the vertical film strip should be, I go to that last program. So if I open the images from Bridge, I see Bridge, but if I open them from the desktop, I see the Photoshop home window.   I can switch to the horizontal film strip, and it appears below, but when I switch back to the vertical, that whole side of the window is missing, again allowing me to see through whatever is underneath it. I restarted bridge, and that solved the problem briefly, but then the film strip disappeared again, and subsequent restarts did not cause it to return. I then quit Bridge, and re-launched Photoshop

Hello All,I try this specific community ... no results in Photoshop community.The only answers I got were: - "crop tool never existed" ... nonsense!                                                   - "I have it" ... must be someone with an older version / before 17.2Here it is again:Since Feb 2025 upgrade (17.2) the crop tool is missing and the spot replaced by "Geometry", which has nothing to do with cropping. It's not there, regardless of using a jpg, psd, or other file. Any suggestions, please! Is it discontinued or am I too stupid to find it?? 🙂 Thanks

Buenas nochesTengo un problema al seleccionar mascaras en adaptable: RetratoAl seleccionar la mascara de ropa o textura de cabello no me selecciona y me sale un mensaje que "debo actualizar los ajustes de la IA" o que es "Necesario actualizar algunas mascaras de IA"Ya le selecciono la opcion de actualizar pero nada que se soluciona.Adjunto fotografias para que me comprendan mejor el problema y me puedan ayudar con una solucion.No encuentro una opcion en Photoshop donde me diga actualizar Ajustes IA Nota: Actualice los controladores graficos de la PC, pensado que es ese el error pero nada. 

prior to the last update of Camera Raw, there was no problem after chosing the crop tool dragging a selection and double clicking the selection to crop. Now that no longer works. Instead clicking and dragging just moves the entire window.

Hola, buenas tardes. Sino que tengo un problema al usar el Filtro de Camera Raw de Photoshop. Tengo Las últimas versiones de ambas aplicaciones y nada que se resuelve aún.Lo que sucede es que al momento de abrir el filtro de Camera Raw este está invisible o no se ve, y pues todo Photoshop queda bloqueado hasta que le doy la tecla de Esc. Tengo dos monitores, probé dejando solo uno, reiniciando la aplicación, reinstalando y nada me funciona aún. ¿Me podrían ayduar por favor?

There are 2 lens profiles for Canon RF 14-35 F4 lens. One is fine, the second one (V2), is expanding the crop, so it's not what the photographer saw in camera. Is there a way to remove the second profile so that it is not used in error by our editors? 

I have some 16 bit scans that I have been working on in ACR 17.2. I have done very extensive retouching of the damage to the negative using the Generative Ai removal tool because this is easily the best result. File size is about 158MB. However it is incredibly slow in a way that it isn't when I do this on my DNG camera files. Now, returning to the file it won't open again in ACR, I just get a beachball. I left one "opening" overnight and it was open the next morning but I don't know how long it took to open. The file that has the very extensive spotting wouldn't build a preview unless left overnight and now will not open.  I am bewildered as to what is going on. System is Macbook Pro M3 Max running Sequoia 15.3.1 with 36GB ram 1TB internal and accessing the files on an external NVME 4TB SSD 

Greetings fellow artists!  I could not find the way to do this using the search, so I apologize if this is asked often.  I have this highly agitating program called Camera Raw that pops up whenever I open AVIF images and I have to do a lot of automated batch work for these files.  I must have disabled it before, because this was not happening before I wiped my Windows hard drive and did a fresh Windows 11 install.  And, I usually never download a new verison of photoshop every year, so this must have got on here since my last one. Well, actually, I realized my reasons and such are completely irrelevant to the question! lol  Basically, I want to either completely remove this weird Camera Raw thing, or else, disable it entriely since in 25 years of using photoshop, I never used it even once.  So, please let me know how to do it?  I did go into the preferences, and diabled the JPG and TIFF I think it was settings, but I want to make sure this Camera

Reposting as original likely was in wrong group. GPU acclerator gets disabled in Photoshop 26.4 when opening RAW file. Can open RAW files in Elements 2024. GPU passes compatible check and is enabled when first opening Photoshop. GPU driver up to date. Tried solutions in discussion group to no avail. Cannot find a "TempDisableGPU2 or 3" file. I have attached data logs as per one of the discussions.Windows 11, Camera Raw 17.2.0.2155, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060Ti (32.0.15.7616) - 8 GB. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi All. I'm looking for advice from a raw conversion guru on how to convert original Canon CRW files to DNG. I think the source files are from a Canon PowerShot A590IS dating back to 2010.Adobe DNG Converter doesn't want to play ball no matter what version is selected. I have managed to convert to TIFF online using Picflow but that isn't an ideal workflow - I've found 4726 files I want to convert!Some photo programs do open the original files (Adobe won't accept the file upload so it can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/wzxx950u9nts3e83acscc/ACkKE422_13YXtuMnR5p4FA?rlkey=n87wk1njtfp064fajcumrpbky&st=9zieltwp&dl=0), e.g. Topaz DeNoise AI and Photomatix Pro 7, but I want my starting point to be in Lightroom after an initial conversion. If anyone has a solution to get me DNG files then please do let me know. Photoshop se congela cuando abro el filtro de camara raw, e incluso no llega a abrirse la ventana del filtro y todo se congela. Version de photoshop 26.3, la ultima, Camara raw actualizada a lo ultimo Si alguien sabe como resolverlo, agradeceria su ayuda

Desistalé el photoshop y volví instalarlo.Después de eso no puedo abrir archovos Raw.Me voy a mi cuanta de adobe y no me aparece el camara raw para volver a instarlalo.Alguien me puede decir que puedo hacer y a qué se debe esto???.El Bridge si me aparece.

Camera raw does not launch when attempting to open .rw2 panasonic raw file either from double-clicking or from an already running instance of photoshop.   I do not receive any error.  Fans spin up though nothing in task manager appears.    Began somewhere in late November or Early December of 2024.   Still continues to this day.   I hear it spinning up, but no error.   Lightroom Classic, however, opens it.  1. Quite often, when I'm trying to draw mask in ACR (Select Object -> Brush Select) it pastes some random photo fragment in place when I'm drawing (I can't see what I;m doing). The artifact dissapears, when ACR finishes computing the mask shape.Raw files (Sony ARW, The newest version of CC, Win 11, i7-11700K, RTX 3090, Wacom). 

Camera Raw 17.1 no longer supports the HEIC format?I'm trying to open HEIC files in Camera Raw 17.1 to edit HEIC images captured with an iPhone 15.I have Microsoft's HEIF and HEVC extensions installed on my PC. I'm not interested in third-party applications to convert HEIC files to JPG. I would like to edit the images in their original format before doing any conversion.Camera Raw 17.1 preferences no longer show the File Handling > JPEG/HEIC option
