Students and educators with temporary at-home access to the Creative Cloud desktop apps are unable to use Camera Raw. This is not specific to ACR but rather how Adobe generatres DNGs with ACR in the latest release.... I have noticed that when the DNG converter creates a DNG, Windows Explorer in Windows 10 crashes when you have preview thumbnails turned on which makes me think that the DNG converter software is not embedding a preview properly in the DNG that Windows Explorer can interpret. I have verified this problem is specific to Adobe's DNG conversion process (either using some function in LightRoom Classic that generates a DNG or using the DNG converter itself). I have testerd with other DNG converters (like Iridient's X-Transformer for Fuji files and also the Nikon version of their software and there are no issues with thumbnail previews with those DNG files). So this seems to be a problem with the ADobe DNG converter, with regard to DNGs it creates. I've also narrowed this down by deleting ONLY the DNGs A work around for now is to turn off thumbnail previews, bu
I recently got CS4 Extended version of Photoshop and need to work on my RAW files, but they won't open. I can see the thumbnails in Bridge and when I try to open them Photoshop says they're "not the right type of document"...so...not sure what to do. I've done a ton of research and cannot figure out why these files are unable to open. I need help!
Using Photoshop verion 26.0.0 on my Windows 11 24H2 PC, I get an incomplete mask around my subjects. There is a small but sharp border at the subjects that is not blurred. This problem does not occur in the Masking section of Camera Raw. Luminar Neo does not have this problem.
Hi! I need some help, with settings for colour (I assume) when editing RAW-images in Photoshop Camera Raw, version 17.0.0.2043. Editing colours in (right now) impossible, since the colouring looks one way in Camera Raw-mode (see image "photoshop raw-sRGB"), and another way when opened in regular photoshop, and then saved in jpeg-format (see the other two images). How can I make the colours look the same when editing in Raw and opening in photoshop? 🙂 Big thanks in advance!/Lisa

Hello there! I have read and watched several tutorials on the 'Super Resolution Feature in Camera Raw. No matter what I do, the 'Enhance' command is NOT there when I right click and nothing happens when I try keyboard commands instead. I am using Windows and have a 64gb, Ryzen 9 set-up (the computer is not the issue here) This is not the first time Adobe have hidden their features with zero customer service ability so I am looking to you as google just brings up more tutorials that tell me to right click in Camera Raw.... THIS DOES NOT WORK!
I found a solution to the following, and thought I'd share (not sure what "conversation type"): Maybe a no-brainer to anyone else, but I was trying to re-work a DNG file in Camera Raw 2024 that was previously masked in Camera Raw in 2014. The only masking options available were the old ones (brush, linear & radial gradient). None of the newer options, like selecting people, objects, etc. However, if I selected a DNG file from outtakes of the same photo session that was never masked or otherwise adjusted, the new options WERE available. I've tried deleting the older masks from Camera Raw; that didn't make a difference. A much too long chat with Adobe support suggested trying older versions of Bridge - no change. Finally, suggested resetting preferences in Camera Raw, but I ran out of time, and wasn't able to continue the chat, (but asked to email the proceedure - have yet to get an email). That said, resetting preferences in Camera Raw for the file in
After the most recent update (15/10/2024) I cannot access my own camera profiles either in LRC nor Camera Raw. I have found a temp workaround for PS and that is to open CS2 files direct from PS rather than bridge. So annoying, why are these updates not properly tested before releasing to the public?
When I perform Noise Reduction in Camera RAW, it says there’s a waiting time of 19 minutes, and when I start the noise reduction process, the program freezes and lags. My processor is AMD Ryzen 5 3500, RAM is 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz, and the graphics card is Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 4GB. I need support regarding this issue. My camera Fujifilm XT5 and my files .RAF. Avarage 40mb a per photo
With the latest version of Photoshop (26.0), when I open a photo in Camera Raw (17.0.0.2043), it “works” only partially.A narrow strip of the top of the photo appears huge in Camera Raw, and when I zoom in by clicking and dragging the mouse, the photo suddenly disappears completely out of view and I can't get it back no matter how I click and drag in the field, and fit screen doesn't work well either because the photo is displayed out of view at the bottom of the ACR screen. Also, the scroll bar on the right side is not there and the “OK” option at the bottom of Camera Raw is also not there, the cross in the upper right corner to exit Camera Raw is also missing, the application can only be exited via the escape button, so changes I finally managed to make in ACR are not saved.I deleted Camera Raw preferences but that didn't work for me so I uninstalled and reinstalled all Creative Cloud apps, installed the latest version of Camera Raw and I still can't manage to use the Camera Raw filte
When opening raw images and other images from Bridge by rightclicking and choosing "open as camera raw", they get darker and with a green-ish tint. It's like the black is black, but the white is green. Look at attached image. Here you can see both the original file in Bridge and the same file in Camera Raw.Anyone know how to fix this?
Tiff files from Panasonic Lumix S5ii not yet available in Photoshop, Adobe Camera Raw or Bridge. On home PC with Windows 10Any idea when they will be available?
When making edits in Camera Raw (currently v16.4) edits are only saved in XMP if I save the files (as JPEG or PSD) from ACR. If I open the files in PS, or click Done in ACR, none of the edits are written to the XMP data, including masks, star or color ratings. This has been an issue for many versions of MacOS and ACR. If I work on the files from a local drive, all data is saved and available.Currently running MacOS 12 and MacOS 14Synology NAS DSM 7.1.1, logged in as root admin
I have installed the Camera Raw update today for PS Beta. All of the new features are here except the Adaptive Profiles. I have checked the technology preview box and rebooted PS and even rebooted my computer. What am I missing? I only have the option of Color and Monochrome.
In this version there are poor translations, for example "LUZ" (light) was translated as "Claro" (lightness). The trim tool presets do not allow you to read the presets because the tool name takes up almost the entire width of the tool palette.
I'm using Macbook air M2 chip, when I try to de-noise a dng file, a window pops up and shows that an unknown error occured. What's weird is the estimated time becomes 5 mins, camera raw 16.4 shows only need 40 secs, I suppose this is a bug, plz review it, or what I did wrong plz help me 😞 Thanks alot! #enhancer #denoise

I've got an old laptop with Photoshop 8.0 on it. It shows in Help->Presets that Camera is installed. However it does not recognize or open my Canon Raw Files. What's wrong? Thank you in Advance.
I downloaded the update and the latest Adobe RAW. When I went to use DENOISE adobe raw it asks me to UPADATE AI settings - Where can I do the settings from? I have Apple Macbook Air M1 - 8MB .
CPU 2xAMD EPYC 7451 or 2x EPYC 7371RAM DDR4 128 GB ECC REGGPU RTX 3070 When I am operating the Camera Raw, the system is always dead for every few seconds including all other Apps, even the Task Manager is freezed at the same time. But on Premiere Pro, can preview 4K video on timeline in full resolution smoothly, why it's extremely laggy on this high-end system on photoshop? Can anyone give some idea?Thank you.
All tools in Camera Raw are working except when I click on the Mask icon to do anything at all it immediately seizes everything up and no way to close only through Task Manager. A Splash screen covers everyting -showing the new things in masking- but it freezes everything up.Help Please - getting very frustrated now, done every update possible - drivers etc!
Camera Raw 17.0.0.2043 on Windows 11 An observation:New AI Features and Settings Panel checked.Open existing DNG file in Camera Raw.Apply Denoise as standard edit feature (new).Resulting file causes Photoshop 26.0.0 to crash when selecting Open Object or Open. When noise reduction is performed manually or the older method of applying Denoise and producing a new -Enhanced-NR.dng file , the file opens correctly in Photoshop.
Running the latest Bridge+ACR+Photoshop on a high end Windows 11 desktop. Ton of memory, big, fast GPU. When I implement the ACR Technology Previews and use the "new" Denoise implementation (no DNG files), all seems to work OK. However, when I open a denoised raw from ACR into Photoshop it takes 35 to 60 seconds. Using the old method and creating a DNG takes only about 10 seconds. And strangely, if I save a 16 bit Prophoto Tif of the denoised raw directly from ACR, it takes only a 2 to 3 seconds. And that Tif, of course, opens instantly in Photoshop. So, do others see the same long delay opening in Photoshop? Or do I have something amiss in my system?
