Camera Raw

Hi all Trying to convert my ARW files to DNG for Lightroom processing (which I have done many times before), but seems like DNG converter has stopped recognizing my photo files - when I go to Select Folder, all of the photo files are grayed out.  This is also true if I look at other file types like JPG.  I tried updating the DNG converter and restarting but no luck. My hardware/software for reference: DNG converter 17.1.0.2100Mac OS M1 Pro, running Sonoma 14.5 Thanks for any help!

Hello, Since the latest update of Photoshop 26.2 and iOS Sequoia version 15.2, I can no longer use the Camera Raw filter in Photoshop. The error message states: **"Camera Raw requires GPU acceleration to edit photos."** For your information, I am using a 14-inch MacBook Pro with an Apple M2 Pro. My GPU compatibility is fine, and my graphics processor is detected under the Settings -> Performance tab. If anyone has a solution, I’m all ears.

Hi gang.  I have a 2020 MacBook Pro (Intel chip) and when I try to select the People mask in Adobe Camera Raw, it says "Your computer does not have enough graphics memory to support this feature."  To get around this, I was considering buying an external GPU that would give additional graphics memory.  I looked for past posts about this to see if this would work, and I found some older posts that said Adobe does not support external GPUs, but these posts were from 4+ years ago.  I saw an article from 2022 that seemed to say Adobe would support external GPUs in their Creative Cloud apps (https://appleinsider.com/articles/19/04/07/new-adobe-creative-cloud-video-editing-applications-now-dramatically-boosted-by-egpu ), but I had hoped to find some more definitive answer that my solution would, in fact, work before I purchased an eGPU.  So, does anyone know if I will be able use an eGPU connected to my 2020 MacBook Pro (that has Thunderbolt 3 ports) and then be

Not finding lens profile correction for SIGMA 28-70 F2.8 DG DN in Lightroom Classic. Is this lens to new?

Camera RAW latest update 15.3.1.1455 main window causes my Logitech mouse to slow considerably when moving it while making adjustments.  If I move the mouse around the perimeter of the main adjustment window it moves normally.  As soon as I move it onto the main adjustment window the drop in speed is like moving it through molasses.  The previous version was problem free.  Windows 10 machine with 64GB of RAM, Intel Core I9-10900K processor, 64 bit OS.  Mouse works normally in all other apps including PS and Bridge.  I do about 80-90% of my image processing using Camera RAW so this really impacts my productivity.

In Camera Raw, when I browse profiles, I only see profile names. For example, if I click on "Artistic" I see a list of Artistic Profiles (Artistic 01, Artictic 02, etc.). How do I get thumbnails to appear. (Note: I have watched some Camera Raw Profile intsructional videos, and I see thumbnails when the instructor clicks on one.)

If I copy a camera raw smart filters with subject masks in it to a new file, in order to copy editings, when I try to create new mask with the new subject to apply the edits, it always recreate the old masks from the source file:then, when i try to generate a new mask on the target file using the filter copied form the source I always get this: this is very annoying as it slows my workflow with huge amount of photo.Can you fix it as it was in the old PS version? Is there an adjustment for the mouse scroll speed when working in the panels on the right. Camera Raw has always been very slow scrolling up and down through the options in panels. 

Need help.  Trying to upload my raw images to Adobe Cloud but it won't allow me. It says file not supported, please upload a PSD or AI file....??? Need some help with this please. I was told Adobe cloud can be used as storage for my photos and video too.  

QuestionDo you know f there is a way to specify the default preset in Photoshop Adobe Camera Raw based on the lens used? DetailsI have a default preset setup. I primarily use three different lenses and would like to enable "Optics / Use profile corrections" for two lenses, and disable the setting for the other lens.  I know you can setup different defaults under Camera Raw Preferences / Defaults / Raw Defaults. Would like to do this for the lens used, not the camera used. Thanks.

HiI have a2019 iMac. When you look in the sytems info it says i am metal supported yet when i try and use Camera raw to enable Enhance on my Fujifilm files it comes up with a warning saying 'Not a supported metal card.' That is not the case.I have an old 2012 macbook pro and that actually works. seems ridiculous that the recent iMac wont. can anyone shed any light please? The improved masking tools in Camera Raw are a game changer. My typical workflow is to use the excellent improved Noise Reduction tool for the entire image. But I no longer use the main sharpening tools on the entire image, as that will result in sharpening of the background noise, etc. I go directly to the Masking tools, and apply sharpening, texture etc only to the subject(s). This helps keep the background bokeh soft & dreamy.But some tools are not available on the Masking Page. The Sharpening is more limited, and other tools like “Vibrance” can only be applied globally. I suggest integrating the Masking Features onto the main controls page, allowing all adjustments to be masked as needed. Why have limits on this powerful feature? Make masking unlimited as in Photoshop. The difference is that many of the tools in Camera Raw are more useful when applied to a RAW image than re-entering camera raw as a filter on an image that has already been processed. The mask

Adobe Camera Raw 17.1 "New AI Features and Settings Panel" is checked.   Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a raw file in ACR. 2. Right click on the histogram and check "Show Lab Color Readouts". 3. Press "s" to sample a random color. 4. Check "Raw Details" or "Denoise" from the side panel under "Details". 5. Notice that the sampled color values shift (drastically).   I understand this is a beta feature and is still under developement. But LAB color readouts is crucial to my retouching workflow. I can't afford to let this slip through.

I have  PS/Camera Raw on a Mac Studio and a MacBook Pro, all of my software is up to date.  My PS Camera works normally on my MacBook, but I get strange shading / colors on my Mac Studio only when I am in masking mode.  General it is a shade of blue and it is not the masking area color. I’ve also noted that the light controls are affected also, without my input. My Camera setting’s are identical.   I have searched the web for the reason/ correction with no success.  Any thoughts on what the issue is?  Thanks.

Hi to all . when open camera raw from fotoshop beta or photoshop i getting this message. The graphics processor has encounted an unrecoverable error. Due to a run -time gpu acceleration has been disabled for the remainder session. thank a lot.

Dobrý den, během práce s camera raw přestala fungovat funkce "načíst nastavení" (cesta: C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings ) Nic jsem neměnil. Jen jsem otevřel další nový raw soubor a chtěl načíst nastavení, které jsem měl uložené. Cesta přestala fungovat.Není to poprvé, vždy když proběhne aktualizace windows nebo Photoshopu se tadu funkce rozbije. Po kliknutí na funkci "načíst nastavení" mi systém nabídne složku, kde jsou uložené fotky. Nežádoucí. Věděl by někdo radu, kde se dá tato funkce obnovit nebo proč je blokována? A jak to opravit?

Mac 8 core i9Mac OS 14.4.1Photoshop 2025 AND BetaLightroom Version 8.1Adobe Camera Raw Version 17.1Canon 5D Mark IV (NEW to Canon, used to shoot Olympus and had none of these issues) When I try to open CR2 files in Photoshop (both 2025 AND Beta) shot on my 5D mkiv, the image appears garbeled. Previews and jpegs are fine.I've tried CF and SD cards (multiples of each). I've reinstalled Adobe Camera Raw twice.These Raw files WILL open in Lightroom and I can edit them there. Furthermore, from Lightroom I can File>Edit in Photoshop and they WILL open properly in PS, but the photo must first be processed in LR.Lightroom isn't part of my workflow and I don't want to have to upend my workflow as a workaround - I'd really just like to be able to open the RAW files in Photoshop, process them in Camera Raw and then continue processing in PS. I HAVE NOT yet tried downloading Canon's software, but again that would just add a few more steps to a workflow that SHOULDN'T be needed.Has any

Hallo Hallo, eine Frage: Ich bekommen immer wieder die Meldung links am oberen Rand im Camera Raw: "KI-Einstellungen aktualisieren".Dieser Hinweis kommt meist, wenn ich zuerst eine Maske vom Himmel (Himmel auswählen) erstelle und dann anschließend ein Objekt mit Hilfe von KI entfernen (Funktion: Generative KI nutzen mit Objekte erkennen) möchte.Erselle ich eine andere Maske z. B. mit Pinsel und entferne dann mittels KI ein Objekt kommt dieser Hinweis nicht. Was bedeutet dies?Danke Danke LGEva

Hi I am just trying to problem solve this very annoying issue in ACR. When its under a little more pressure the processor crashes and and pops up this error message.GRAPHIC PROCESSOR OUT OF MEMORYDUE TO A RUN TIME ERROR THE GPU HAS BEEN DISABLEDI have the latest NVIDEA driver installed on my new windows ASUS computer and about half my C drive is full.I have reinstalled ACR twice with no improvement and tried a couple of other tips from what I have found online but no luck so far......at my wits end now and wondering if anyone can offer an advice as to how to fix this.
