I edit all of my DNG images in Lightoom, and save the metadata to the files. I then open all of those files (for sharpening and the addition of grain) in a batch action in Photoshop, using Camera Raw, thereby saving a generation step that would be added by exporting directly from Lightroom first. I'm noticing that Lightoom recognizes the built-in Fujifilm lens profiles... But when I open the same file in Photoshop, using Camera Raw, it does not... This is happening with all of my files from a Fuji X-T5 body. No amount of tweaking in Camera Raw will let me get to the actual lens profile, and there's no other way to fix it without exporting from Lightroom first. This is a huge problem, as I'm finalizing a ton of images this way. Is there a solution I'm missing, or is this a major bug? I'm using Camera Raw 15.2, with Photoshop 24.3.0, on a Mac Studio, with Mac 12.5.1.
Application : Photoshop 24.1 Windows 11 Problem occurs since the last update Step 1. I open Photoshop, everything runs flawlessly. Step 2: I go through filters in Camera Raw, everything runs flawlessly. Step 3: I confirm editing in Camera Raw and go back to Photoshop. Photoshop hangs. I can't select, save, or close Photoshop anymore. Sometimes it works again after 5 to 10 minutes but most of the ti
After a bad experience with adobe support (only in English by the way) I try to post my question here hoping that someone had the same problem solving it. I have had photoshop elements 2023 for a few months and I need to upload some TIF files. The software asks me to install the camera raw plugin which is already installed and even reinstalling it keeps asking. I then followed the instructions on the site by downloading the plugin and following the instructions to go and put the downloaded file in the system folder but even so I always get the pop up that asks the plugin and I can't go on with the job. Does anyone know how to resolve? Thanks.
I installed Ps today and later added DNG Converter/CameraRAw. I cheked the cameraRaw folder te find the profile for my Canon, but the profiles folder is completely empty. How and where can I find the profiles??
Camera: Fujifilm X-H2s Camera Raw: 15.2 version on Win 10 Bug: please compare the two files and adjust the high lights, they are not on the same range I’ve been using Fujifilm X-H2s for a few months, I did a few times of time lapse, I found the raw files sometimes were not on the same exposure, I thought it was the camera’s problem or my wrong operating, until then, I picked the two files and sent to my friend who is using Mac system, and he showed me they were on the same range. Even I asked another friend to try on Win System, he got the same situation, so now I am reporting this to you, any problem please send me Email, <Removed for Privacy>, thanks. The system didn’t allow me to upload raw files, please check this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Vmw345gNFjmF2urbsUqL2lC7e5usRwMT
Hi there, I'm hoping that I have come to the right place as my issue isn't specifically for Camera Raw but hopefully someone is able to help me. Apologies if this sounds silly! So I started shooting more last year in RAW on my DSLR but always imported the files onto my MAC directly through the camera (I have since bought a card reader to do this) using the Photos app on my Macbook. This probably sounds stupid but I have just realised that all of my photos, including the photos I shot in RAW imported as JPEGs as apparently the Photos app has trouble importing RAW files. I have since cleared my memory cards which deleted the original image files but what I want to know is if it's possible to retrieve the RAW files even though they're all on my external hard drives and on my laptop as JPEGs? Hope that makes sense! Thanks in advance for your help!
This may be specific to Nikon cameras, and I'll mention that I am running ACR on a Windows 10 platform. There is the ability to use profiles that match the camera profiles, and by setting preferences in ACR accordingly they can be used in addition to the Adobe profiles. The attached file "ACRSetupRawDefault" shows how I believe this is done. Then, after ACR opens a RAW file, the color profile information is displayed as shown in the attached file "ACRProfileDisplay1". Note that the selected profile is Camera Standard v2, and the drop down menu allows a variety of Adobe profiles to be selected should I prefer one of them instead of the camera profile. So far, so good. However, there is a problem in my opinion, if I decide to select one of the Adobe profiles in the drop down menu. Once I do that, as shown in "ACRProfileDisplay2", the Camera Standard v2 has disappeared and is no longer available as a selection because it is not included in the drop down menu. The only way to go back to an
Was geschieht genau beim Skalieren?
I am an eperienced, professional Photoshoper user who has worked with Photoshop for over 25 years. I TOTALLY DESPAIR of the way Adobe fiddle with simple, working tools - like the crop tool. None of us where having any problem with cropping things guys. Now, in Adobe Camera RAW there is a new crop feature that I genuinely cannot get to work. At all. We're talking 20 minutes of trying diffenrt things and eventually just outputting the whole image and cropping in Photoshop. On a sclae of 1-10 how successful would you think this has been, really - did you test this abomination outside the office? At the risk of having a rant, as a real-world user who is contantly under time pressures to complete complex tasks, having 'Malcolm in the back room' filling his time by changing the interface really isn't helping. I have already had to get onto Adobe on-line support twice in the past month to have system roll-backs and fixes done in order to get Camera Raw to work. For experineced users the
I have just downloaded Photoshop Elements 2023 and added Camera Raw 14.4.0.1121 to it.Why is there no masking functinon included with it? I am using windows 10 operating system.
There is still a malfunction of Camera Raw in the management of HDR Pro. It's shameful, Adobe hasn't solved the problem for months. All versions after Camera Raw 14.5 can't handle HDR Pro at 32-bit. Once the HDR Pro is created and the TONY command is executed in ACR, it leads to Camera Raw. However, Camera Raw doesn't work anymore. The initial result is terrible, and the sliders don't work properly. Shadows make blacks go up, clarity gives a general contrast, and highlights aren't recovered. This problem has been going on for three months for all users. They always say they know the problem, but it hasn't worked for three months. Shameful
Can't open into Photoshop from Bridge and Raw. Used work around: right click, open with PS... That enables me to edit in PS but then I can't "save as" a jpeg. I can "save a copy" as a jpeg but when I try to open it from Bridge it opens in Raw and again, can't save as a jpeg. ONLY way is to go into PS, use "open" and navigate to the folder I'm working in, find the jpeg I want and open. Screws up my entire workflow. I'm on a MacBook Pro and have updated Bridge and PS.
I opend/ retouched a couple of images -- used dehaze.. ACR 15.2 And then I opened another image, also says 15.2, and no dehaze.. Curious on that, thanks.
I CANT OPEN MY RAW PHOTOS Branched from an unrelated subject... Moderator
Hey there - I'm having issues with opening camera raw filter, after disconnecting a monitor. When I attempt to open camera raw filter in photoshop after disconnecting a monitor, the screen freezes until I press escape. Any tips to avoid? I take my laptop to different sites and do not have an external monitor
Hi everyone,I'm using Photoshop and ACR with my Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) with 8GB RAM. But everytime, when I want to use the subject selection tool in ACR, I get an error pop-up, which says "An error occured: The AI selection model cannot be loaded". Is this due to the lack of enough RAM? The minimum requirements are met by the Microsoft Surface. The problem is also existent in the latest version of ACR.Attached you can find the system info file from Photoshop. Thanks in advance and best regards,Jens
I will edit a photo in camera raw and then hit "done." The image will then appear edited in Bridge with the icon on the top right of the thumbnail. But the issue is when I go back to my regular files application on my PC and navigate to where the photo is, there appear to be no edits to it despite my computer saying that the picture is fully synced. I have tried copying them in bridge but it won't work, I have tried doing an export into a new folder but the photos still did not show the edit in folders. Any help?
I am using the most up-to-date ACR as of today, but have had this issue for a while. I attached a screenshot of the problem since it's kind of hard to describe but easy to see. When I create masks, the sliders on the right for adjustments within the mask are not displaying properly. Namely, the bottom half of the number value of the slider is cut off. This has been a problem for a while. How do I fix this? What settings do I need to change? Also, how do I show the navigator like the one that shows by default in LRc and PS? The navigator is essential to me as it allows easy navigation around the image when zoomed in a lot.
Hi, Since i upgraded to Photoshop 2021, i can't use Camera Raw and open raw files... My computer is an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), 3,2 GHz Intel Core i5 (32Gb RAM). System is Big Sur (11.1) Photoshop runs with no issues but when i open a raw file in Camera Raw, the software freezes. I can't force to quit, i need to reboot. I already uninstalled, re-installed Photoshop but the problem is still here. Yesterday i erased my HDD and made a clean install of Big Sur then re-installed Photoshop... Same issue. Thanks for your help. {Thread title edited by moderator}
How do I associate TIF files to Camera Raw on a Mac? "Open in Camer Raw" is greyed out when a TIF is highlighted.
I'd like to view 2 raws side by side, but can't guess how to... please, help or isn't this feature here yet?! I remember it was in LR
