Hi all. I'd really appreciate your help. When I use any of hte Adobe RAW profiles as a base to create a new profile in ACR for LrC profiles I have a problem. If I use, for example, an of the Vintage profiles as a base, everything works fine. So, as an example, when using Adobe Color for my base to create a profile... In the Create Profile dialog box:Under Current Image Settings to Include, the first checkbox says Camera Profile: Adobe StandardThe Color Lookup Table checkbox is unchecked and the Table field says "Load ".cube" File..." (which I can't find on my computer) If I leave everything as it is and click OK, in LrC the profile is visible only for DNG files, not PSD files. If I uncheck the Camera Profile: Adobe Standard box and click OK, the profile is visible and works on both DNG and PSD files.I don't necessarily want to use it for PSD files, but I do want it to be visible for all file types. So, while unchecking Camera Profile is a work around, it concerns me that m
I use Smart Objects when coming out of Lightroom. This way I can edit in Camera Raw in detail later. When I "Save As Object", I've started getting occasional corruption in Photoshop like attached. I will have to open Camera Raw again, make some pointless change, and try to Save again. Usually that works, and the damage goes away. Seems to be only with the newest version of ACR, as I never had the issue before. I'm on Windows 10.
The Clone & Heal tool is really great. I really find it easy to use. It would be great to be able to rotate the healed/cloned area. This would be really useful for blending lines. I hope it's clear what I'm trying to ask for, any questions give me a shout. John
Sorry again - had trouble finding my way to this specific sub-forum. The menu item for choosing color profiles is missing from ACR 15.4/5 for Mac OS. Mac Studio Max, OS Ventura 13.3.1(a), Photoshop 24.7.0 Details also here. <Duplicate Post Deleted>
In the Person Mask Options section of the masking section in Adobe Camera Raw there are boxes to check for lips, hair etc. There is also button to create seperate masks. Is there a shortcut to check all the individual boxes at once? Thanks!
For weeks I have been using the Denoise feature on multiple pictures at once, but after I did the update 2 days ago it won't work. It will load for a couple minutes and then say an error occurred. It is very frustrating and I tried to uninstall the update out of pure frustration but it does not give you the option to. I am on a time crunch and this is causing a lot of unnecessary stress and waste of my time
Here's the issue: One wishes to sample a color from an image, then USE that color as an Adjustment Brush or Grad Tool, or Radial Tool overlay. The problem is the Color Picker in those local brushes' panels only take HS(B) values. (Actually the Brightness or Lightness is ignored). One has to SAMPLE the RGB, (or L*a*b*, or CMYK) values in ACR, write them down, open a converter (even Photoshop) to convert the Sampled ACR Color Value to HSB, (and write it down), then come back to ACR to enter the values into the Adjustment Brush Color picker.
As I said, I can not save a raw file as jpeg.
Every time I update photoshop and camera raw it then crashes after the upload. Try speaking to adobe they are useless they send you on a hike trying to get someone to fix it ? Four people took over my high spec machine to no avail. Useless junk

Issue: Lens correction not correctly applied to super resolution raw Camera Raw Version Number: Camera Raw v14.1 OS Version Number: Windows 10 21H2 Steps to reproduce: Use a raw image like this one https://www.dpreview.com/sample-galleries/1514562719/sony-fe-16-35mm-f2-8-gm-sample-gallery/2104950891 Apply Super Resolution to the raw image in Camera Raw to obtain a super resolution DNG. Enable lens correction from "Optics" -> "use profile corrections". Expected result: When zoomed out, the two image should appear identical.Actual result: The two images are not identical when zoomed out. The same lens correction profile appears to have different effect on the two images. The differences are not huge, but when quickly going between the two images, it can easily shows the amount of geometric distortion correction applied is different. I found this issue appears on Sony 16-35/2.8 GM and 28/2 lens, but does not seem to appear on Tamron 28-200 lens.. I haven't tes
ACR version: 15.5.1.1597Bridge version: 12.0.4.286 Repro steps:1. Select a large amount (more than 50) of photos in Bridge and open in ACR.2. Select all photos by Ctrl+a and click "auto" to apply auto tune adjustments.3. Double click on vibrance and saturation sliders to reset their values to 0. At this point all photos still have the auto tune adjustments when viewing them in ACR.4. Click "Done" to save and exit ACR.5. When reopening the photos in ACR, many of them lost the auto tune adjustments.
Hi, Is it possible to create an adaptive ISO preset that utilizes the AI Denoise settings I have created for various ISO settings? If so, do I use the generated .DNG files to do so. I am able to create an adaptive ISO present with the .DNGs however, it only appears to utilize the manual denoise settings not the AI Denoise settings. Thank you in advance,

Profile => Adobe Color Make adjustments, tone curve, etc, save as new profile. This new profile works flawlessly in Lightroom classic, Lightroom Profile => [Custom made from DNG profile Editor]Make adjustments, tone curve, etc, save as new profile. This new profile shows up in Lightroom classic, but doesn't show up in Lightroom. I've opened up these two files, and the one that works properly [Adobe Color] seems to be around 200kb, and the other is aboug 2kb. It's clear that the latter case is missing information due to me selecting a custom profile. Is there a way to create a profile that has tone curve (rgb) adjustments that work with your own custom profiles and not adobes?
When I drag out a Radial Filter in Camera Raw (15.1), there there are no ajustment handles/pins/frame. I cannot move, reshape or resize the filter area. This only happens on my desktop PC, on my laptop everything works as expected. Am I missing something? I can't see any difference in any of the settings.
Photoshop is up to date and the same for Bridge and Camera Raw but suddenly Camera Raw stopped to work. I can't use it any more in my computer (Window).
I have a laptop with Windows installed on it. When I work from home, I use only one screen. However, in my office, I connect it to a second monitor using HDMI. Now, I'm encountering an issue where I'm trying to open Photoshop RAW, but nothing happens. The same problem occurred when I was in my office. I connected the laptop to my second monitor via HDMI and then I realized what was going on: Camera Raw opens on my second screen. So, the problem is that it's trying to open on the second screen even when I haven't connected it.
Version of the app: Camera Raw 15.4 Platform and OS version: Windows 10 Pro Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Run AI Denoise at 50% on a Sony ILCE-7R raw file Expected result and actual result: Clean image / purple lines on right sides of the image
Sometimes when I click on the Camera Raw filter. It freezes and I have to force quit the application
Hi everyone, I am using Camera Raw to edit and save my original RAW files to JPG format. Unfortunately, the META-Data will be overwritten when it comes to the date and the time when the photo was taken. In the RAW files is the original timestamp, but when saving to JPG, the timestamp in the JPG is from that moment when the JPG was generated, and not the original timestamp from the RAW. Is there a chance to keep the original timestamp in my saved JPG?
The Creative Cloud app updated my Camera Raw to the latest version 15.5. Problem: it just won't load in PS or Bridge. It locks up the interface, blocking you from using any other tools, but it just won' tload. You can get out of the "lock" by hitting ESC. I tried restarting PS and also Windows, no luck. I tried re-installing using the download from:https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html but the result is the same. I used that link to go back a version, that one is working OK.System info: PS 24.7.0, Bridge: 13.0.4.755, Windows 11 - up to date.Let me know if there is any other useful info I can provide.Adriaan Sachtler
