Camera Raw

I would hope that someone can help me arrange my presets into folders that I can establish. My current presets are a mess, over 200. They are in groups, subjects, styles, portraits that have no meaning to me. I would like the groups/folders to be for example Black & White, Filter Pouch, Color, Sky, Tone, and be able to place the presets into these folders. When I go to the folder it has only i.e. B&W presets in that particular folder or grouping.I have gone to the common file stated Users/Name/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings and have arranged my presets in the folders I desire. It made no difference. I can load a preset from this folder into ACR presets and the photo changes to the preset but I cannot find where it remains after I am done and switch off of that preset. Do I have to load each individual preset and save it in the folder I just retrieved it from and then move to the proper group/folder? My 16 inch MacBook M1 Max is not showing the graphics processor in Camera Raw 14.4Any ideas on how to fix? 

I have a task to create a high contrast photo with specific numeric values on histogram. I need midtones, for example, to be within 195-230. Is there a feature in camera raw that can show me EXACT numeric values of highlights, midtones and shadows on the histogram as they fall between 0 and 255? 

When converting a lut to a preset there are two options for gamut , clip and expand. I understand what clip does , but I was curious exactly what expand does and how it works. I assume it stretches luts encoded in smaller color spaces to cover prophoto's gamut.  However, I've made both clipped and expanded ones and never see any difference in appearance or the histogram on raw files even with images with overexposed or highly saturated areas. 

Camera Raw 14.4.1.  Picture opened from bridge.  GPU NVIDIA GE Force 360.  6gb dedicated memory and 16gb total memory.  Running Windows 11 on Dell XPS 17. I was doing some color correction on the picture.  Was in the process of using the Color Mixer and adjusting Hue and the red slider.  Had previously made other adjustments.  As I worked the fan picked up speed and suddenly the screen went black.  I had to touch power once which seemed to unleash the residue of the picture on the screen, hit power again for a very short period and this immediately brought up the windows entry screen.  Hit enter and I was right back at Camera Raw screen.   I had task manager running at the time.  Prior to the event, the dedicated GPU Memory was at 5.6/6.0 GB and the Shared GPU memory was almost totally available.  However, at the event, there was a significant GPU 3D spike which went off the top end of the power line.  Some

If you click "Enhance …" to use the Raw-Details or Super-Resolution features, Camera Raw freezes and has to be forced quit!This problem has been occurring for several days. I have the latest version of Camera Raw and Bridge, but also tried an older version and other PCs – same problem.

I added this here as cannot find the forum for Adobe DNG converter. I have a serious issue with not only adobe dng converter but also Lightroom, any time I import ARW into Adobe DNG converter and DNG into Lightroom, it completely messes with the flat profile.Why is it constantly adding in a color profile and changing the color of my photos? It is completely ruining all of my photos, especially darker ones.

I currently have camera raw 5.0 on my Photoshop CS4 and want to upgrade to camera raw 5.7. How do I do this?I used to have camera raw 5.7 but accidently deleted it so I know it works with Photoshop CS4

Photoshop + LR use my RTX3050 with 8 GB but Camera Raw not. I can't turn it onAny idea why not?  

I recently upgraded my Macbook pro's operating system to Mac OS Montery 12.3.1 had some funny issues with bridge so updated bridge, camera raw and photoshop, everything is now fully up to date. When I try to open a group of DNG files in camera RAW it would say for a few of the photos "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." All of the other DNG's open and export fine. It's just 1 or 2 files. I can see the preview of the image, sometimes it comes up with the DNG logo and I clear the cache and see the preview again. I am edting off the internal hard drive. Camera Leica M240. I've used this camera for 5 years and never had this problem. I tried to copy the file from the memory card again, same result. I opened the file in Lightroom and it works. I went back and checked old files I had edited fine and 1 or 2 of them also now have the same problem. How can I make camera RAW recongnize all my DNG's?

I am looking to use the online storage for my external drives backups for my photography work.  Does anyone do this? Does using th online storage make your images available for all of the Creative Cloud apps? or do you use a different service?  I am looking for the best options as I am looking to have a backup physically out of the house and hjaving double externals is becoming cumbersome.  Any advice?

Hi, I'm having troubles with the mask in Camera Raw, and just with the mask, all the other features are ok. When I aplly the mask in a photo it works well, but when I click in any other button (still in Camera Raw) the mask goes away... then I need to click the mask button to see the icon of the mask and click in the icon to reactivate the mask (when the icon stays with a blue line around it), but if try to exit the mask window, even stayng in Camera Raw or try to export the image (clicking the OK button) to open it in Photoshop, the mask disappears. The Camera Raw version in my computer is the last one (14.4.1.) and I don't have the option to uninstall it, I uninstalled the Photoshop and installed again, but it was a waste of time...the problem remains. Am I doing something wrong ? Is there an especific command to fix the mask in the image ? If anyone knows how to solve my problem, please help me. 

Hi, I love working with my VSCO-filters so I saved them all as presets and wanted to import them into my new Macbook with PS 23.4.2 and ACR 14.4 But unfortunatly after importing/loading the zip-file with all the presets ACR only takes less than half of the presets. the rest are not imported and are not shown on the list. All of the presets are xmp-files  Do you have any idea why it does not work?

DONE, is save in ACR right? If make the image BW, and want that saved you have to click done? I click done and widow closes. How do done  ie, save what done, without box closing? thanks.

When using the Camera Raw Filter from Adobe Photoshop Version: 19.1.3, running under Windows 10 I am getting coloured horizontal bands instead of my image. I have reproduced this with several other photos and there are always bands instead of pictures (see example below which should show an image of a face). I have no problems when using ACR from Bridge, the problem only occurs with the Camera Raw Filter.This problem has only occurred in the last few days and, during that time I have installed the new Windows 10 April 2018 update. I have however been unable to find anybody reporting a problem with the filter after installing the Windows update so this could be a red herring, I have tried enabling and disabling the graphics processor  but it made no difference. Has anybody any suggestions?

I have been working with Tamron on an issue regarding Raw files meade using the Tamron 18-400 ziim lens witht he Canon R6, The camera is set to use the crop factor. The lens & camera firmwares are up to date. When I bring a raw file into bridge and on into camera raw there is a white/light vignette around the image. This does not happen with any other app - only photoshop. and raw images. If I import the photo to other apps like ON1 Raw there is no vignetting. My prefernce has always been to use PS for photo processing. Any help will be appreciated. This does not happen with any other lens I sude with the R6 and the adapter.

Hello,i need the profiles for Sony a99 m2, the Tamron SP 24-70 2.8 and the Tamron SP 70-200 2.8So in this article  i found that they shoud be located at %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0"and%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Adobe StandardUnfortunatly, both folders are empty.Any idea where i can get the profiles?best regardsSteve

Using Canon R7, CR3 RAW files: I have discovered vertical bands when I shot in low light using higher ISO (ISO 1600 and up), when I process using the latest Camera RAW Using Windows 11. When I process using Canons latest DPP software the bands are not there.  This is with standard settings, no exposure change or other changes except standard sharpening.

Hope phrasing this correctly. I used to be able to select 10 images, command A, Mac.Then adjust first image.There was a keyboard shortcut to sync all others without bringing up the box... Still around? Can' find. thanks!

Hallo Zusammen, ich nutze Camera Raw Version 13 unter Photoshop Elements 21, dies ist so durch das Studium gestellt. Mein Problem ist, dass nicht alle Werkzeuge angezeigt werden. Aber auch die möglichen Einstellungen nicht wie dargestellt vorhanden sind.  Die obere Leiste ist komplett leer und auch in der  unteren Leiste ist nichts was helfen würde.Ich suche jezt schon Stunden. Habe alles aktualisiert und sogar neuinstalliert. Ich komme leider nicht weiter. Ich hoffe ihr könnt helfen! Viele GrüßeAline

HiPhotoshop has suddenly stopped opening .orf files. I get a message that says 'Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file.' I have updated Camera Raw to 14.4 but this hasn't helped. Is there a fix for this problem?

Hey all! Question for the Camera Raw community. We have built a plugin that assists with LR Classic workflows. Many Camera Raw users have requested access to the plugin for their workflows. Does anyone here have insight into the potential of transitioning the LR Classic plugin into a Camera Raw workflow? I haven't found much on building plugins with Camera Raw but curious if there are any roundabout ideas. Thanks!
